Lindsay is incredible! We hired her for our wedding at The Hyatt in Incline Village with only 4 months until our wedding date. Everything went flawlessly. She was so helpful and responsive and just made everything a breeze for us. All of her vendors were incredible. I still can't believe how perfectly the day flowed. Lindsay is a gem with a true gift for working with people. After reading a dozen glowing reviews on this site, I knew I had to contact her. Little did my now-husband and I realize just how fortunate we were that she was available on our wedding date! Having her as our month-of coordinator was by far one of the best decisions we made in terms of planning. It also helped tremendously that she frequently works with our venue (West Shore Cafe and Inn), so she was already familiar with the layout and staff. Lindsay answered all of our questions/concerns and took care of details we’d been too frazzled to think of otherwise, such as printing name cards for the reserved seating section of the ceremony. At rehearsal, she graciously provided us with copies of the wedding day timeline, along with her cell phone number, so we could still contact her if we needed anything after she left. The day of the wedding, she ensured that everything looked beautiful (i.e. our check-in and dessert tables) and ran smoothly. Our families, wedding party and photographer had only great things to say about her as well. We cannot thank Lindsay enough and highly recommend hiring her for all your wedding planning needs!
I wish there were more stars to give than just 5! From the day Lindsay came on board to help us, my stress over wedding planning subsided completely. If I could think of one word to describe Lindsay it would "Pro". From the second you hire her, she gets to work. Her experience and network in the Tahoe area is unmatched. For instance, our Videographer was unfortunately double booked the day of our wedding, and we had a week to find someone new. Within hours, Lindsay had a new team in touch with us, and all of our worries were put to rest. If you want to have the best experience with both planning and enjoying your wedding day, Lindsay Townsend of Cloud Nine Events Company is your wedding planner! From the initial conversation of what our vision was for our wedding to the consistent emails, texts, and phone conversations Lindsay’s attention to details was incredible! Her knowledge and experience of not only knowing the latest trends and best practices, but her incredible connections and reputation with the venues and vendors made all the decisions effortless. Lindsay has such a calming disposition, and she lends such confidence when decisions need to be made. She treats your special day like it is hers and no question or task is too small for her to take on. For our wedding Lindsay became an adjective, a verb, and a noun to all of us! And in the case of our wedding, Lindsay and her family were evacuated from their home due to a very large fire (Caldor Fire) in Lake Tahoe two weeks before our wedding. As part of her evacuation plan along with her children, husband, and dogs, Lindsay took with her some custom signs we had made for the wedding in the event she wouldn’t make it back home before our wedding! Who does that? Lindsay does! On the day of the wedding Lindsay was the hardest working person on site, from helping set up the tables to be just right, to her linen folding, helping with the flowers, greeting our family and guests, to helping to put the boutonnieres on, to having double stick fabric tape to help with the wedding dress. We could go on and on about Lindsay, but we will leave it with this; Lindsay was THE absolute reason our wedding went off without a hitch! The vision, the feel was everything we wanted and that was because of Lindsay! We would ONLY do it all over again if Lindsay was right beside us! Lucky for us she has become family. I feel like everyone should get married in Lake Tahoe because you will want to be friends with all of your vendors! Lindsay of Cloud Nine Event Company was the greatest gift in curating the vision and experience we wanted to enjoy with our guests. We wanted to infuse elements of my husband’s Nigerian heritage into our beachfront wedding. She is so knowledgeable about the area and it’s vendors. Lindsay helped us identify a reasonable budget, and then each step of the way she had 3-5 recommendations to narrow down what could have been hundreds. She was efficient when she needed to be and took her time on the details that really mattered to us. Our wedding weekend ended up being during one of the biggest wild fires of the season, and despite Lindsay’s family and local community being impacted throughout our weekend she was constantly checking on us and helping us to stay cool, calm, and collected. Our day was one for the books, and one we will remember forever! So grateful!
My wedding planning consisted of 3 date changes due to the pandemic and because of this our time with Lindsay was longer than we ever expected. But I am so so so grateful for everything she did for us! My fiancé and I were ready to give up multiple times, but Lindsay kept us motivated to get the day we deserved. Each time a new curve ball came our way, Lindsay brought calmness and positivity to all our conversations on when and how our big day was going to happen. She was so organized and never left out any details despite all the changes! There’s no way we would have made it to our big day without her. Originally, our wedding was supposed to be in New Orleans. Then covid happened and we decided to do a destination wedding in Tahoe. Turns out, this was the best decision we could have made and we say that because of Lindsay!! She made out-of-state wedding planning simple. And made it all happen in just 12 weeks!!! She’s reliable, honest, punctual, patient, very organized, and made wedding planning actually enjoyable! Every recommendation she made did not disappoint. 10/10 would do it all over again with Cloud Nine!!!
The name of Lindsay Townsend’s company Cloud Nine Events is seriously serendipitous as we are all still on “cloud nine” following my daughter’s dream wedding in Lake Tahoe. Getting to that day was a challenge as we had to postpone the original date due to Covid. Lindsay made even that process seamless, re-contracting with all the vendors, and reassuring us every step of the way that it would indeed happen and be equally special a year later.
As the new date approached, Lindsey quietly, confidently and expertly guided us, organizing and then orchestrating the whole thing. She ALWAYS steered us in the right direction when we were making decisions or had questions and ALWAYS responded right away. With Lindsey managing the event, I was able to just let go and enjoy every single moment of the entire weekend which was seriously magical and perfect down to the last detail.
As one of our friends stated “Seriously guys, this was one for the ages. A grand slam, mic-dropping walk-off."

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is no simple task. Lindsay not only made it seamless and enjoyable, but brought every wedding dream we had to life! When looking for a planner we had a few key characteristics we were looking for - expert knowledge of the Lake Tahoe area, strong organization and collaboration skills, and creativity. Lindsay checked all the boxes and then some.
Expert knowledge of the Lake Tahoe area: We first met Lindsay after seeing several venues in the area and coming to the conclusion that a traditional wedding venue during a pandemic was just not going to work. She suggested a private estate that would give us the warm, intimate wedding we wanted with gorgeous sweeping views of the lake. Our guests were all able to stay at the venue for weekend-long experience they'll never forget. She also helped connect us to the most amazing team of vendors that we couldn't have been happier with.
Strong organization and collaboration skills: As I mentioned before, the planning experience with Lindsay was seamless and in large part due to how organized she is, the transparent planning collaboration tools she uses and her responsiveness. I never felt like I was "out of the loop" or behind where we needed to be in planning. Every step was clearly laid out against a realistic timeline that took the daunting wedding planning process and broke it down into easy manageable tasks.
Creativity: Lindsay not only has creativity when it comes to design aesthetic, but also in being a problem solver. She helped us to navigate all of the little and big problems that came with having a wedding during a pandemic and ensuring the safety of our guests. She helped bring our design vision to life even when it meant having to find a local vendor in the town over to provide laser cut place cards a week out from the wedding date when our original Etsy vendor fell though. And even on the day of the wedding when it came to pivoting our schedule when our "first look" location needed to change due to an influx of tourists that weekend.
Lindsay is everything you can wish for in a planner, and we can't thank her enough for making all of our wedding dreams come true!
Lindsay helped us bring our dream wedding to reality. She helped us stay on track throughout the entire wedding planning process, and we loved how organized she was so we never had to worry about a thing. It was extremely helpful to have a local wedding planner help us connect and secure the best local vendors. We really appreciated how she kept up with our vendors throughout all the planning and was able to help us manage our stress along the way. Even on the day of the wedding she worked her magic and kept us calm and poised. We absolutely loved working with her and would recommend her to anyone planning their wedding. At first we weren’t even sure if we needed a wedding planner but we decided to go with Lindsay. My father works in banquet and wedding Events in Tahoe and said that if we were to get one, she’s it. If you are thinking about having a wedding in Lake Tahoe, you MUST use Lindsay as your planner. She is the absolute best! There is so much that goes into making your wedding perfect and Lindsay was there for us every step of the way. From hosting regular check-in calls to making recommendations throughout the process, she really takes the stress away. Looking back on everything it really felt like Lindsay was not only professional and diligent, but she was friendly and calm. My Husband and I truly feel as though we built a friendship with Lindsay that will last long after the wedding. With the experience Lindsay has she was able to make recommendations on everything from florist to table decorations. Her knowledge of the Lake Tahoe area is second to none and not being from the area this was something that was imperative to us. Any time we needed help communicating with vendors or meeting deadlines Lindsay was right there. She makes herself available whenever you need her, and I think we can both say she is one of the main reasons our day was so perfect.

First things first: You should reach out to Lindsay today and hire her. We interviewed a number of planners for our wedding and gravitated towards Lindsay because of her vast knowledge about the wedding industry, her no-nonsense approach and her warm, welcoming personality. We worked with Lindsay for over a year and regularly told each other how hiring her as our wedding planner was one of the best decisions we made. We both have all-consuming jobs, meaning our time for planning was limited and usually came in bursts when we were together and free. Lindsay handled these bursts of work seamlessly and kept us on task when we slacked on certain aspects of planning. She was so organized and got both of us to buy in on the utility of Aisle Planner, a program that made planning our wedding - with her help - a breeze. She was also blunt with us on certain aspects of our wedding, telling us directly whether something was necessary or not, a trait we greatly appreciated. And our decision to hire Lindsay was also validated by the way that other vendors - from our venue to our DJ to our baker - reacted when they found out she was our planner. All of them relished the opportunity to work with Lindsay, making it even clearer to us that we made the right decision. Lindsay is a true professional whose care and calm we will long associate with our wedding. We were honored to have her with us on our special day.

We spoke with a few planners in the area but decided to go with Lindsay based on her professional but cheerful demeanor.
All of our exchanges over the phone and email are very informative, succinct, and organized. Lindsay kept us on track throughout the whole planning process. She is very knowledgeable as she has been doing this for years - and has maintained really great relationships with all the vendors in town. She gave us the options and didn’t push us toward any particular decisions unless we asked. All of the vendors we booked via Lindsay’s recommendation were equally professional and dependable.
Having Lindsay there on the day of our welcome dinner and our wedding day was priceless. She took care of so many details, my husband and I spent all of our time with our families, friends, and each other. She even helped me steam iron my dress while my bridesmaids and I were getting ready, seriously above and beyond.
Even the day after - when she was out of town -when I couldn’t find some items we left at the venue - she responded to my messages and helped me locate those things.

I, as the bride, worked with Lindsay over the course of a year for my June 2019 wedding. From the initial meeting, where we set a budget and worked through the larger items that needed to be accomplished like picking a venue, florist, photographer, etc to all of the little details that make it all come together, Lindsay was nothing but pro-active, accommodating, and organized. I also appreciated that I never once felt like she pushed us into anything we were unsure of. I have had friends who have felt like their wedding planners pushed them into the more expensive options, but this was never the case with Lindsay. If anything, she helped us figure out ways to save. Lindsay’s number one goal was to give us the wedding we dreamed of, which was exactly what she did. She handled all communication with the vendors and would consistently check-in with us and was extremely responsive when we reached out with any questions. Lindsay also has a great relationship with all the vendors in the Lake Tahoe region, which is always helpful. It is obvious that she is well respected within the Tahoe wedding industry.
Even when we had a hiccup with the band we had chosen, only 3 months before the wedding, Lindsay very calmly informed us of the issue and proposed numerous alternatives. Within a week everything was all worked out, all thanks to Lindsay. When it came to the week of the wedding, I was not stressed at all, which is very uncommon for a bride. So much so that numerous friends and coworkers commented on it. Everything was all taken care of and I fully trusted and knew that Lindsay had everything under control. Her calm, organized, thoughtful, and positive demeanor allowed us to have a seamless wedding day. She really does think of everything when it comes to a wedding. They say something always goes wrong the day of your wedding, but thanks to Lindsay, our wedding was nothing but perfection. Not only is Lindsay an extremely talented wedding planner, she is also a good person, someone you enjoy spending time with and working with. I feel so lucky to have worked with Lindsay!
Lindsay was by far our favorite vendor from our wedding, and she made the whole experience so special! We hired her as a partial planner for our wedding at West Shore Cafe. She was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process (meaning, I always received a response within minutes) and she was so positive about all of our ideas. I had a few ideas that I really wanted to do but wasn't sure how they'd turn out, and Lindsay was supportive and as excited about them as I was. We also appreciated how 'real' she was with us when advising on vendors etc. - we always felt like she was telling us the truth. During the weekend of, she ran our rehearsal seamlessly and took care of absolutely every aspect of the design. She handled weather hiccups super smoothly and had a smile on the entire day. We can't recommend Lindsay enough!
We worked with Lindsay as a month and day of coordinator for our wedding on the North Shore in Tahoe at West Shore Cafe.
First, let me start off by saying that working with Lindsay was, hands down, the best money we spent on our wedding. If you’re starting off planning, my biggest advice is to save budget elsewhere and hire her- and stop whatever you’re doing and book her now. She is an absolute pro- she was so highly respected by everyone we met in Tahoe, introduced us to vendors we wouldn’t have known about and saved us money. I was definitely a ‘do it yourself’ kind of bride, and I was still able to be hands on with her. She took my vision and made it happen (and better). I couldn’t have imagined my wedding day without her- she is calm and collected, if there was any stress, I didn’t know about it. In hindsight, I wish I would have gone with the full planning package, just because I would love to have had the opportunity to work with her even more, but she went above and beyond even what we hired her for. She was just so responsive and thoughtful in everything that she did for us.
I can’t say enough about her- all of my family loved her, and my husband and I just feel so lucky to have had her with us for our wedding. When people take pride and love their jobs, it shows, and Lindsay is without a doubt one of those people.
Lindsay was helpful, professional and to the point. She's the person you want, when you want to get things done. I'd recommend her to everyone, and especially any of you who get married in the Tahoe area. I couldn't imagine my wedding without a coordinator. Weddings are stressful enough, and Lindsay was able to take much of the stress away. Her organizational skills are top notch, and thought of things I didn't even think of. I also forgot a steamer, and she brought one to the hotel, which was last minute and a huge lifesaver.
Oh my gosh! We can’t say enough about Lindsay! We hired her as our “day of” coordinator but she offered so much more. Her advice all the way through the planning of our daughter’s wedding was invaluable. She was available by phone or email from when we signed the contract. Her knowledge of vendors in Tahoe helped so much. And everyone we called, when we mentioned her name, only had great things to say about her. She is very personable, professional, and helpful. The wedding was perfect and stress free, mostly because of Lindsay.
My husband and I couldn’t think of anything else to ask for in a wedding planner. We are forever grateful for all she did to reduce our stress and make our wedding day the most incredible day. However, after starting to research and plan I realized I couldn't do it alone and needed to spend my energy wisely. My husband & I are forever grateful for Lindsay! We thought we could pull off our wedding without a day of coordinator, but I am so glad I made the decision to call Lindsay. She did so much more than just coordinate the day, she was my go-to for months! We were in communication almost daily. She reminded me of things I probably would have forgotten, gave me options & advice on design decisions, handled all the back & forth with our venue & made the perfect timeline. She made me feel so at ease in every email, phone call, vendor meeting & especially the rehearsal/wedding day. THANK GOODNESS WE HIRED LINDSAY!! Hubby and I were wedding planning, renovating our house, frequently traveling, and both working high stress jobs all at the same time. To say I was "stressed" would put it very, very mildly...The single best thing we did for our wedding, and my sanity, was to hire Lindsay. She is collected, professional, fun, and caring. She gave us tons of really helpful advice, but also listened to what we wanted and worked with us to make things happen. She has creative style and elegant taste, which took some pressure off of me to define every little detail of the wedding. The best part is that we and our families were totally stress-free when the wedding weekend finally came, and everything went off without a hitch! We had a great time, and all our guests told us how beautiful, fun, and smooth our wedding was! If I were doing it all over again, Lindsay would be my first call.
Lindsay was an absolute joy to work with! The system she uses for organization and planning was extremely user friendly and helped keep us on track throughout the process.
We do not live in the Tahoe area, so it was wonderful having someone who knew the area and the vendors well to help us with scheduling, decisions, etc. Our wedding was at Lakeview Lodge on the top of Heavenly and Lindsay helped us deliver all of our personal items to the venue, which was a huge help. This was not an easy task as everything had to be loaded onto the aerial tram and onto a shuttle to make it to the venue location.
Lindsay had also previously worked with most of our vendors, which made the actual wedding day run seamlessly. The timeline on our wedding day was perfect; we didn’t feel rushed but there was also never too much lull time.
We would highly recommend Lindsay as a planner for anyone’s big day; ours would not have been the same without her!
We could not have been happier with Lindsay planning our three wedding events (welcome party, ceremony/ reception, and brunch) for our wedding. We loved our experience working with Lindsay over the year of wedding planning and heard from so many people that our wedding weekend was the best wedding they had ever attended.
There are so many things we enjoyed about working with Cloud Nine but had to sum it up into 3 themes:
1. Organization and experience
In every sense Lindsay made our lives so easy while planning a wedding. She was incredibly organized at every stage of our planning; taking detailed notes that were easy to access later once I forgot everything we had discussed, managing every vendor contract and required documentation, and tracking when payments were due and how much throughout the process.
At my venue tasting, the venue mentioned they wouldn’t have their final list until 2 months from that date. Sure enough, 2 months later to the date, Lindsay had already sent them an email following up to get the wine list! During such a potentially stressful planning process that goes on for such a long time, little details like this make Lindsay so amazing to work with.
2. Trustworthy and dedicated professional
Even before hiring Lindsay, we knew we could trust her completely. Lindsay and I exchanged 50 emails before even talking about signing a contract with Cloud Nine; we discussed venue options, Tahoe weddings in general, and each time Lindsay provided thoughtful and valuable input without making me feel pressured to hire her.
She is also an expert in the industry in Tahoe, and we loved our entire team of vendors we worked with (all Lindsay’s recommendation). Lindsay provided amazing recommendations (without overwhelming us with options). We could also trust her to work completely with the vendors on her own, which was a huge benefit to the planning process (not having to manage 10 different vendors myself? Yes, please!) and follow through where needed.
3. Easy to get along with and fun to spend time with
We spent 3 days at various points in our planning process in Tahoe with Lindsay visiting sites, vendors, and completing other wedding details, and both my fiance and I loved spending time with her through the visits as friends.
Almost everyone I know has had a planner add additional stress to their lives, or wish they hired a wedding planner. My husband and I considered ourselves incredibly fortunate to have had such a easy and enjoyable time planning and are so thrilled we hired Lindsay to help our day go absolutely perfectly.
I can't begin to describe how lucky we felt to have Lindsay as our wedding planner/coordinator. Initially, I was not sure what my vision was for our wedding. Lindsay helped me walk through floral appointments, bounce off ideas, and provide her opinions (which I always requested hehe) throughout the process. I truly felt like Lindsay wanted to make our wedding just as special for us as she would have for her own wedding. I was able to ask Lindsay a billion questions throughout the months leading up to the wedding and she always responded swiftly and settled my nerves. I am a very Type A person and letting go is not always easy for me but knowing Lindsay was in charge put my mind at ease.
For my wedding I had this crazy idea of purchasing my own mirror for a table setting and Lindsay volunteered for me to mail it to her house (as I was planning a destination wedding) so I wouldn't have to burden the grooms family (who lives about an hour from the venue) to hold onto the mirror until the wedding. I could not believe how quickly she offered to do such a thing and it made things so much less complicated for the family.
The day before our wedding, Lindsay helped us run through the ceremony and passed out itineraries for all the wedding party and family to have. These were so helpful so everyone had a clear timeline in which they needed to follow the day of the wedding. I was sick the day before the wedding and it was apparent I was becoming overwhelmed. Lindsay reminded me she has it all taken care of and to just enjoy the day and I was confident knowing things would run without a hitch.
The day of the wedding we had some craziness occur but Lindsay handled all problems with ease! To list off a few - grooms hair was crazy and she found him some hairspray (which is was SO happy about), there was some family drama and she kept me (bride) as calm as possible, she went back to my room nearby the venue to grab me a makeup compact which I had forgotten, she re-bustled my dress when the groom accidentally stepped on it (and calmed me down from another freak out moment I was having from that). Overall, I cannot imagine how the day would have gone without her services. There are so many more little details that I know I did not get to see and I know without Lindsay's help and coordination, the wedding would not have gone the way it did. I wish I could give her another hug to thank her again! We highly recommend Lindsay and Cloud Nine Event Company for any special event you may have coming up!
Lindsay was simply incredible. Calm, organized, thoughtful, and meticulous... We could not think of a better planner by any stretch of the imagination. A few snapshots come to mind:
1. In planning a beach party, Lindsay showed up 3 hours early to set up, hold space on the beach, and ensure that every detail went smoothly.
2. When a glass broke on our dance floor at the wedding, Lindsay brought out a broom and swept it up herself.
3. On the wedding night, Lindsay was literally the last person to leave (staying til 1am), bringing our extra programs back to our house for us, tying up loose ands, and even changing the water in our flowers so they would last an extra few days.
4. Lindsay was amazing at dealing with our parents during their crazier moments.
5. Lindsay took care of all communication with vendors in an expert fashion.
I could keep going on and on, but I think you get the point. Lindsay was perfection.

If you want the best wedding of all time, you should hire Lindsay. I worked with her for about a year and a half to plan our perfect wedding weekend in Tahoe. She guided us through every step of the process - from helping us pick our venue, florist, band, food, make-up/hair, schedule to helping navigate all of the dreams and wishes of two families in two different states, Lindsay is, simply put, the best. Lindsay was involved every step of the way and able to provide us with realistic and helpful advice. She was also incredibly responsive to every concern along the way.
I really don't know what else to say -- if you want the best, most reliable, most fun, most lovely wedding planner, hire Lindsay and Cloud Nine.
Lindsay is incredible!!! She was so professional and was able to handle all of our issues without blinking an eye! She was easy to eat in touch with and made the best recommendations. I could relax and enjoy the wedding day knowing she had it handled! I could have never done it without her and wouldn’t want to!!! Our wedding was amazing!!!
Lindsay was awesome and such an important part of our day. I knew when I started planning our wedding that I do not want to worry about a single thing the day of, which meant I needed to find a planner that we could trust and depend on. A couple friends of ours recommended Lindsay to us and what a great choice! Even though we booked the month-of service, Lindsay answered any and all questions I had and responded to all my emails promptly during the 1+ years I spent planning. She even met up with us for an appointment with our florist so we could finally meet in person. The days leading up to our wedding, we communicated a lot about the details which I appreciated. Finally it was our wedding day and I felt very calm and relaxed. I knew that even if something went wrong, Lindsay would be on top of it. My sister/MOH realized she forgot her bouquet at our Airbnb maybe 10 minutes before our ceremony was supposed to start and Lindsay had her assistant grab it and we ended up being only a few minutes late. She worked well with all our vendors and kept everything running so smoothly. She continuously checked in with us throughout the day and evening to make sure we had everything we needed, even if that's a glass of champagne or wine! Thank you Lindsay and team for making sure our day went off without a hitch and was stress free...it was such a special day and we couldn't thank you enough.
My husband and I got married in Tahoe in May and had no idea what we were doing. I went down the rabbit hole of every wedding checklist and made countless spreadsheets in an attempt to get organized. We realized a couple of months into planning that we needed help. That's when I reached out to Cloud Nine for day of/ month of coordination. We struck gold finding Emily. She was incredibly easy to work with, clearly knew her stuff, and helped guide us through the parts that we couldn't quite figure out.
Our wedding was everything we could have ever wanted. Emily helped us through the rehearsal, graciously pointed out things we missed to improve flow, and developed a timeline to make sure we fit everything in logically. She provided input in all the right places and even helped us secure a shuttle for our guests a week prior to the wedding. She graciously kept us on track throughout the night and never made us feel rushed. There is no way the night would have went as well without her. I couldn't be happier with Cloud Nine and Emily. I highly recommend them for all of your wedding planning needs!
I cannot say enough how amazing Lindsay and Cloud Nine are for wedding coordination and planning! If you are looking for a day-of coordinator or overall wedding planner, I would strongly advise you to stop looking and use them - they will truly take care of you and not leave you with anything to worry about on your big day!
I used them for their day-of wedding coordination services, and they helped me so much with last minute details leading up to the wedding - serving as primary communicator and receiver for all my vendors, ensuring there was a day-of timeline (and that it was followed), leading the wedding rehearsal, helping me book some last minute vendors to really put the the wedding over the top, and all around being a great support for questions/concerns/issues that would crop up. As someone who's pretty organized myself and didn't know if I needed a coordinator, I was so glad I did. I had zero concerns about the day being a success because Cloud Nine and Lindsay were so on top of things while I was enjoying the day.
Lindsay is absolutely amazing - extremely organized, 110% committed to her clients, and really invested in making sure your big day is perfect - going above and beyond to make sure it is. My bridesmaids and everyone around me kept telling me how great she is - she's seriously the best!
As I said, do yourself a favor and put your big day in the best hands - you will be so glad you did.

My husband and I did the month of package but from the start, Lindsay was amazing. She responded to emails quickly and always provided her input on anything we needed.
We were stressed to the max the month before the wedding but Lindsay always put us at ease and made us feel comfortable.
The day before the wedding we ran into some issues and changes were required..Lindsay told us not to worry and told me she'd take care of everything..which she of course did!
Our wedding day went off without a hitch and it was in huge part to her hard work. She made us feel as if we were her only wedding and made me feel calm and at ease day off. She genuinely cares about her couples and wants them to have the best day.
I can't imagine our day without Lindsay! If you are looking for somebody friendly and hardworking, look no further.

After interviewing 3 wedding planners I knew Lindsay was a perfect match for Steve and I. The way she answered all my questions with such detail and even gave me ideas that I didn't even think about all on the first day of meeting I knew I needed her by my side on my wedding! Throughout the whole planning process she was there every step of the way. She answered all my emails promptly and put me to ease during the most stressful times. Being miles away from my wedding venue made me rely on her a lot and she exceeded my expectations of being hands on for me. She gave me advice and handled things I didn't even think about! The day of the wedding would not have gone smoothly without her! She was on top of everything! I got to enjoy my wedding knowing she was handling vendors, random issues and guests. She goes over and beyond then what a normal wedding planners job is and that sets her apart from the rest. She truly loves her job and you can see that from her which makes wedding planning that much more exciting with her a part of it! Being a control freak myself made it very hard to let someone else run the most important day of my life, but she was fantastic and my family and guests loved her! Lindsay was absolutely fantastic. We hired her for day of/month of coordination and she was perfect throughout the whole process. We used all of her recommendations, from photographers to hair and makeup to even the henna artist for our Indian wedding. Indian wedding are notorious for being late and running long but because she did such an amazing job coordinating our vendors and wrangling our families, all of our events went more smoothly than we could've imagined. Cloud Nine is the best!
Lindsey and Ashley were the absolute best!!!! I hired them for their 'day of' services since we were having a small (60 person) casual wedding in Tahoe. As the day grew near, the amount of assistance I needed became more and more...and they were there every step of the way! I felt the went above & beyond what I hired them for and they were worth every penny & more! On the day of the wedding, Ashley was there from morning to night coordinating every single detail. I'm a little controlling and a bit of an over-planner, so turning over things to someone else is hard for me. But Ashely was completely trustworthy and was as if I had cloned myself....but better and more experiencing in all things wedding! I couldn't have pulled it off with them. Thank you!!!
We were recommended to Cloud Nine by our amazing photographers Matt and Tara Theilen. Being that it was a destination wedding for us, we needed help and we're so glad we chose Cloud Nine!
On my initial phone consult with Lindsay I was sold. She and her partner Emily were so down to earth and experienced! Lindsay wasn't able to work with us since she was on maternity leave during our wedding planning process, but she was able to be there for our wedding day to help! We worked with Emily, her partner, who was equally as amazing! We did their Month/Day of package, which was perfect for us. And, the price was excellent compared to other planners. Further, when comparing Cloud Nine's contract to another planner's we were considering, we found theirs to be very straightforward. There weren't any hidden fees that could be added on later. They had a contingency plan in case of emergency (unlikely, but you never know), and I liked that all duties were laid out expressly (it wasn't vague). Plus, they provided a wedding checklist for you and your partner to plan months out.
(Side Note about other planners: I spoke to several prior to choosing Cloud Nine and here's what I found: the others didn't listen as well to what we wanted/were not interested in hearing our thoughts, were kind of rude/didn't even return phone calls, were at times too professional and cold, and on top of it were overpriced! Cloud Nine was none of those things!)
Overall, we found Lindsay & Emily so flexible! Cloud Nine fulfilled every obligation in the contract and beyond! They were realistic about wedding costs and provided options for cutting costs where necessary. Their vendor suggestions were reliable -- our wedding day was seamless because of this. They were always available to chat, ask about recommendations/etiquette for little things, bounce ideas off of, etc. For instance, they helped with suggestions on pre- and post wedding parties which was totally outside of their responsibilities, and it never seemed a bother to them to help out!
Most important, everything was perfect on our wedding day! Lindsay & Emily really want you to feel supported while planning, and especially on your special day! There was honestly nothing that went wrong and if anything small did, we never noticed! As I experienced it, and look back on it, it was perfect and all our vendors did exactly what we wanted. Yes it does say a lot for our vendors too, but they suggested many of them and with the coordination piece we felt they were spot on. I felt super care free day of --that we were in great hands.! I highly recommend Lindsay & Emily!
Lindsay is amazing!! She helped with our day of coordination, which was actually month of plus some. She was willing to chat and provide suggestions months in advance of our wedding to help with the planning. She was professional, has amazing industry knowledge, and was a huge help in the days leading up to our wedding. She perfectly executed everything we had talked about and even a few things we hadn't. Whether you are looking for full-service, or just some help as your day gets closer, I would definitely recommend the Cloud Nine team!
Lindsay is AMAZING!!! From the minute we met her, we knew we were in great hands. She was incredible throughout the entire wedding process. Always accessible and helpful. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Lindsay and her assistant, Ashley. Nothing I can say could translate the gratitude my new husband and I have for Lindsay. We live two hours away from our wedding venue so we had no prior knowledge of any of the wedding vendors in the Lake Tahoe area. Lindsay knew all of the vendors and their work quite well and was able to connect us with the perfect vendors that gave us exactly what we envisioned for our wedding and more.
She was available for questions (and we had a lot of them) via email, telephone, and texting. She kept us on schedule with all of the necessary wedding tasks as well as on our actual day of the wedding. Her dedication, positive attitude, organization, and knowledge were the key to making our dream come true for the perfect wedding. She also helped us coordinate the festivities the day after our wedding, which included a yacht cruise on the lake and a sunset dinner on the beach. She helped keep my stress level at bay (which is a full-time job in itself). I became so attached to Lindsay that I often referred to her as “my everything” and right before walking down the aisle with my dad, I turned around and shouted to Lindsay (as she was straightening out my wedding dress) “I love you Lindsay!” I guarantee any bride that has and will work with Lindsay will feel the same way about her.
Having Lindsay as our wedding coordinator was the best decision we could have ever made. Her pricing is very reasonable and in fact she should raise her pricing based on the quality and efficiency of her work.

Mark and I live in San Francisco and hired Lindsay to help us plan our wedding at West Shore Cafe in June 2017. Lindsay's attention to detail, relationship with local vendors, cool/calm demeanor, friendly personality, organization, and positive attitude were exactly what Mark and I needed to make our dream wedding a reality. Lindsay went above and beyond in every aspect of her role as wedding planner and we can't thank her enough. She kept us on track with checklists, notes, budgets, and other tools with an online program called AislePlanner which we used quite often. She helped recommend and select the best vendors in Tahoe, which would've been an overwhelming task if Mark and I had done it alone. She met with us several times in person when we visited Tahoe, and came up with itineraries for our vendor meetings. When wedding weekend came around and it looked like it was potentially going to snow (in JUNE), Lindsay helped us come up with a Plan B for our outdoor ceremony and dinner. She helped negotiate a heated tent, and came up with a new seating arrangement for inside. Generally, having Lindsay as a partner during our wedding process was absolutely necessary. I couldn't imagine going through wedding planning without her!!
I wish I could give Lindsay more than 5 stars! From the early stages of planning, to the day of and even the day after, she was extremely helpful! Lindsay not only helped us with all of the vendor management and coordination but gave us advice / suggestions when we were unsure what to do. She has the previous experiences of wedding planning to make any bride and groom feel confident that everything is taken care of. I wish Lindsay could be in my everyday life :)
Lindsay was absolutely fantastic! We decided on a destination wedding and she delivered a successful game plan in 1 month! Lindsay is a great communicator. She listened to our wishes and gave us advice when we needed it. She was readily available via text, phone, and email and updated us on all the details. She went the extra mile and took videos of 3 beaches we were considering for the ceremony. Lindsay has integrity and is trustworthy, she delivered on everything she said she would do. We didn't meet her until the day of the wedding but it felt like we had been friends for years. We cannot thank her enough for making our wedding day a wonderful memory!
I can’t say enough about Cloud Nine Events. I was the bride who didn’t want to be high maintenance, especially in front of my guests. The whole idea of having a wedding freaked me out a little (or maybe a lot), but at the same time I felt like it was a right of passage, that I(we) really wanted to have. I reached out to Lindsay, at Cloud Nine, to find out if it helped my overall, uneasiness about the wedding. I’m so glad I did! Planning felt like a full time job, and she was the thread that pulled it all together. I planned my heart out, so whenever Lindsay helped me with the logistics, it always seemed like they were things that I hadn’t even thought of (and some of the most important)! Almost all of our family and friends traveled pretty far to attend, and I didn’t want them to be tied up with wedding duties. They still ended up helping a lot, and I am SO happy that I didn’t ask them to do any wedding day coordination! They would have never been able to enjoy themselves on the big day. I wish I could list all of the things that Lindsay worked so hard to do for us that day, but it would be impossible. She was behind the scenes, but always there when I needed her. Cool, calm, and a joy to be around. I have a great picture, walking down the stairs at Valhalla, with Lindsay making sure I didn’t trip on my dress, and fall on my a**. Her experience, thoughtfulness, and care, allowed us to really “be” at our wedding. Now we can look back on our special day as one of the best days of our lives.
Lindsay was absolutely amazing. If you are considering using her for your wedding or event think no more and just call her. She is so great to work with (I want to hang with her after our wedding because she is so fun and down to earth) and she is also very detailed oriented and experienced.
We had a lot of trouble with our wedding venue in that about 3 weeks before the wedding we lost of reception site and had to scramble to figure out new arrangements. First of all Lindsay kept me calm. She was on calls with the vendor and helped to figure out a fast solution. She offered her expert advice so we could figure out the best possible option. She went above and beyond to help us out. She drove 50 miles each way to see our new site. She did not have to do this but she wanted to help in anyway she could. She also contacted several vendors to get information for potential last minute rentals for our backup site. I could go on and on but in short she went above and beyond!
She helped with all the details the month before in coordinating with the vendors and make sure they had everything they needed. Our venue was a little complex with getting vendors up the tram and such so she coordinated a lot. It was a huge help as I had so much to take care of to get ready for the wedding. On the wedding day some of our seating arrangement signs were lost and Lindsay stood there telling each guest where to sit. She handled the situation with grace and saved us from a situation that could have gotten stressful.
The wedding went off without a hitch and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Lindsay helped to transform our wedding venue (a ski resort which truthfully needed a little sprucing) to the most magical place on earth. We got so many comments from guests about how perfect it was and beautiful and how much they loved all the details that Lindsay was very careful to orchestrate. In short, we couldn't have done it all without her. Thank you Lindsay!!
Lindsay is incredible. Period. Any couple that has her to plan their event is lucky. We had a destination wedding and were planning our wedding from the other side of the country. Lindsay was there for literally every step of the way. Initially my fiancee didn't think we needed a coordinator and I talked him into getting one. She is incredibly passionate about what she does and it shows. By the time our day arrived, my fiancee said he was going to give Lindsay a hug because she kept me sane through the process. Our winter wedding went off without a hitch. It was an absolutely incredibly, beautiful event and our friends called it an "Epic party."
Along with her impeccable organization and planning skills, I think one of the things that impressed me the most was her responsiveness. Whenever I had a question about anything along the way she responded to me usually within a few hours. Even on weekends when she was working at another event, she would at least let me know she received my email and would get back to me ASAP after her aother event was done.
Thank you Lindsay for our beautiful day! We were sad to see it come to an end.
If I could give Lindsay a million stars I would. She hands down made our perfect day PERFECT! Throughout the whole process she was so much more than just a "wedding planner" - she was fun to work with, always there to listen and guide me through what were sometimes stressful decisions to make and became a very trusted advisor at every step. She gave us the right amount of guidance and advice in vendor selection while still letting us make the final decisions. Lindsay not only went above and beyond in every way possible to make sure our families were comfortable the day of and that everything went smoothly, she also did this throughout the planning process by scheduling all of the meetings and visit itineraries when we came to town for planning. I literally cannot imagine going through the whole process without her right next to me!
I would definitely recommend working with Lindsay at Cloud Nine. Our wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without her. Throughout the whole planning process she was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had, professional, creative, detail-oriented and all around awesome. She found all our fantastic vendors for us and helped us to stay within our budget. I didn't worry about a single detail on my wedding day because I knew she had everything taken care of. We received so many compliments on our wedding because of Lindsay. Words cannot express how helpful and amazing she was. Hiring Lindsay was the best thing we did for our wedding day.

We would 100% recommend Lindsay!!! We decided to plan our Tahoe wedding while living in Australia. We had a strong vision for what we hoped the day would look and feel like, but were nervous about planning the wedding from so far away. We worked with Lindsay from start to finish and she really helped bring all of our ideas to life. There's not a thing we'd change about our wedding. Every vendor Lindsay recommended was great (we loved the flowers, DJ, cake, venue, food... we could go on and on). Lindsay is incredibly organised and stayed on top of every detail. She really took the stress out of the process for us, which gave us the opportunity to bring our vision to life. We loved the way everything turned out and couldn't be more thankful for all the work she did :)

Lindsay was incredible! We wanted to just hire a "Day of Wedding Planner" and got much, much more. We aren't Tahoe locals so we knew we needed help. I did most of the prep work and hired all the vendors, but Lindsay coordinated everything (including the rehearsal) and calmed our nerves. We could not have done this without her.
