Katherine helped us plan our wedding remotely from NYC to Chicago. She immediately alleviated my feeling overwhelmed by the volume of decision-making, when we did not have a clear picture of what our wedding should look like. I was constantly impressed with her efficient use of our time when we were able to travel to Chicago during the process. She is highly responsive and always a calming presence from the beginning of planning to the big day. Her network of vendors are also all top-notch. You will be in great hands at Clover Events!
My wife and I hired Jessica at Clover Events as our wedding planners. She was the perfect planner from start to finish and guided us the entire way. Jessica was always quick to answer our questions, organized our entire timeline, made sure all guests and family had a great time, and other vendors were taken care of. My husband and I used Clover Events for planning our Oct 2022 wedding and it was the best decision we made! I cannot recommend them enough, specifically Katherine, who we worked with as our main planner through the process. Katherine planned the wedding of my dreams in only 8 months. She has an incredible network of vendor connections and partners in the industry and was able to secure the venue I wanted, my incredible photographer, my band that guests still talk about and my officiant. Every recommendation she gave was top notch and the vendors clearly enjoyed working with her. I trusted her implicitly throughout the process and she delivered ten fold, not just with the logistics of the wedding but with the design and ambiance of everything from the stationary to the flowers. In addition to all the planning, she was a positive, calming presence to have during a lot of high stress decisions and days! She was always available for questions, was able to get my husband on track with some decisions/timelines on his end :) and problem solved behind the scenes consistently throughout. I can't imagine having had the wedding I had without Katherine and Clover Events and would recommend them to any couple thinking about hiring a wedding planner.
My wife and I cannot say enough nice things about Katherine, Meg and the whole Clover team. Our wedding planning process was seamless and stress free from start to finish, all thanks to Katherine and the team. This was even despite the fact that we were planning a Chicago wedding from New York while working full time!
Katherine just understood us from the moment we met. She has an incredible ability to know when to check in with us and ask what we want, and when to just read our minds and get something done. Her vendor recommendations were perfect for creating the celebration we wanted (shoutout to BeatMix music and Thistle & Plume florists!).
My wife and I both work pretty demanding jobs which made scheduling meetings and making decisions difficult on occasion. Katherine was incredibly flexible and always willing to work within our schedule, even if that meant calls on nights or weekends. And again, I swear she’s a mind-reader: everyone option she presented for us fit exactly into our style.
In the week of the wedding day, we realized we had forgotten (despite Katherine’s reminders) to buy a guestbook. Katherine took care of it, and we had the guestbook and Polaroid camera ordered and sent to her house.
The wedding day itself was a dream. Everything went off without a hitch, no doubt due to Clover’s help. But the most impressive thing was how mindful Katherine was that this was our day, not a day for our guests. She found little pockets of time throughout the day to come check in with us and say “hey guys, do you want to just step away from everyone for a minute and have time to yourselves?” I can’t tell you how great that is - we want to have time with our friends and family, but being reminded to take the time on our wedding day to celebrate our love… we’ll it’s what it’s all about isn’t it? This shows the kind of person Katherine is: it’s about you, the couple, first and foremost, and she will always be there to help.
Finally, I have to say that, 4 months on from the wedding, my wife and I just miss chatting with her. Katherine is such a sweet person and we’ll definitely give her a call the next time we’re coming through Chicago. So thanks you Katherine and the Clover team for everything you did for us!

Katherine and her team were SO fabulous to work with throughout our 3-year wedding planning time frame. They seamlessly helped us re-plan our wedding 3 times due to COVID delays and even planned our micro wedding in Sonoma as a free bonus.
Katherine is always so lovely, thorough, and thoughtful. Her vast wedding planning experience was evident as she carefully considered every detail for both our big wedding celebration and micro wedding. Both events were perfect and unforgettable.
Clover Events helped us plan and execute not one but TWO extremely special events leading up to our wedding day, my bridal shower and our rehearsal dinner! We were lucky enough to work on both of these events with their absolutely fabulous planner, Jessica.
One of Jessica's biggest strengths is that she is extremely organized, and this is coming from a healthcare worker with a job that requires me to be Type-A! She had multiple meetings with me prior to both events, including planning meetings, decor run-throughs, and timeline run-throughs, and I loved every minute of our virtual chats!! I was so impressed in the initial planning of my September bridal shower that after only a couple of our meetings, I asked if she would be willing to help with our November rehearsal dinner as well since I knew that I would be in the best possible hands with her! It meant the world to me that she put so much time and effort into planning/executing our shower and rehearsal dinner, as I had been dating my now-husband for 11 years and we were just so excited for these special events leading up to our wedding day. She created thorough plans and timelines for each event which she provided to all vendors involved to ensure everyone was on the same page prior to our events.
I should also mention that I had to plan both of these events from states away. I was trying to plan events in Downers Grove and downtown Chicago while physically located in North Carolina! However, I didn't have to worry for one minute, because with Jessica I had eyes and ears exactly where I needed them. I trusted Jessica like a friend I have known for years, even after only just meeting her virtually! She even took time out of her busy wedding planning schedule to do a tasting and walkthrough at the resturant where my bridal shower was held to help better plan the day, and took pictures along the way for me!
Jessica is not only an amazing person who is professional in every way, but she also has an incredible eye for event styling. She was able to take a variety of inspiration pictures I sent her and brought them to life in an even better way by curating a dream team of vendors for both of our events. I told Jessica that it was important to me to have vendors that were just as kind as they were talented, and she delivered on that 110%! Our events looked absolutely stunning and also went off without a hitch with Jessica there! She kept everything running smoothly and made sure we stayed on time with both events, neither us nor our family had to worry about anything during our events.
Not only did Jessica take the ideas, key descriptors, and photos of ideas to bring my event visions to life, but she took as much possible off of my plate in the process. Since I was going to have to travel from NC to these events, Jessica was kind enough to have individual items for our events (paper products, decor, signage) delivered right to her place so that she could bring everything to the events for us. Jessica even offered to put together my shower favors and bridesmaids gift bags for me and bring them to our events. She did an INCREDIBLE job with both and I learned in the process that she is your go-to girl if you need gifts to be perfectly packaged! As you can tell, I have nothing but positive things to say about Jessica and the incredible team at Clover Events, and my family loves them too. We cannot wait until the next special event we host so that we can hire this amazing team all over again!
While planning our wedding, I knew I wanted help from a coordinator in the lead-up to our big day. I had no idea when I got engaged on 12/31/19 that hiring Jessica from Clover Events was one of the best decisions we made. With COVID, postponing, vaccination, and handling new protocols by the literal day in the weeks before our wedding, I would have been lost without her guidance and help. Jessica made sure that our families knew where to go, she handled a bus driver that went to the wrong Royal Sonesta (there are two downtown!), she made sure everything went perfectly, and she was a joy to be around. She kept us highly organized, made sure our vendors were on track, and her organization made my Type-A self so happy. I would highly recommend hiring a day-of (which was really more like month-of) coordinator if you can, and Jessica/Clover is the best of the best.
We hired Clover Events and worked with Jessica for what we thought was going to be a September 2020 wedding, but turned into a July 2021 wedding due to Covid. We delayed two separate times, each with a venue change, and Jessica was there for us through it all. She was so proactive keeping us informed on Covid protocol changes and what other couples were doing, and was always open to getting on a video call to talk through options. She was calm and confident through everything which is what we needed when we were the exact opposite. We ended up getting married in a family member's backyard with 87 guests, and could not have done it without Jessica's help. There was so much that went into essentially creating your own venue that we would have never thought of without her. She organized our vendors for a meeting at the house to review the space and confirm all the details. The month leading up to the wedding she did almost all the communication with our vendors and took care of the little things that would make any bride/groom stressed or annoyed to deal with (parking, vendor meals, etc.) The day of the wedding, Jessica and her assistant, Mary, were phenomenal. Because we were at a residence, we really had to rely on them to set up a lot of the decor and with minimal instruction, and they did such an amazing job. They took care of everything so that my husband and I could just enjoy the day. I could not recommend Clover and Jessica more highly!
Niki was amazing to work with! I was looking for a month-of planner because I knew that I wouldn't be able to enjoy my wedding without one. I was torn between Clover and another outfit, and the venue recommend Clover. I can't recommend them (and especially Niki) enough! Through the entire process, she asked all the right questions (including many I didn't even think about!), reminded me on my to-dos but didn't nag, recommended things when I didn't have an opinion, and wrangled all the cats (vendors, friends and family alike) the day of. Everything went so seamlessly that my husband and I agreed that the money we spent on Clover was probably the best return on our entire wedding! Niki even helped my mom button up a tough button on her dress that I couldn't do.
A few tidbits:
1) I'm a bit of a planner and one of my bridesmaids asked me how I was able to find someone who was as detail-oriented as I was. People (professionals and married friends) have said that Niki's timeline was the most thoughtfully done one they've ever seen.
2) I didn't think I needed a "month of" planner vs. just a "day of" planner, but I'm so glad we got support the month of. There were a lot of details going into the big day I'm happy that someone else thought of!
When I started thinking about planning my wedding I had told my mom and fiancé that I was going to hire a "month of" coordinator and they both had their doubts if it were necessary....well they soon realized that in the 6 weeks leading up to our wedding that it was the best decision EVER!!!! Niki is the greatest! she helped make the wedding of my dreams come true. all my friends at the wedding and rehearsal were surprised how calm I was and how well organized things were and I told them it wouldn't be without the help of Niki! She was amazing at taking all the plans we had made and vendors we had contacted and putting it all together! She was so professional and easy to communicate with and fun to work with!! Everything from the rehearsal to the wedding day went perfect and I couldn't have done it without her and her teams help (Thanks to Lauren too!!) Can't give enough positive feedback about Niki and the Clover Events team! you need them!!!
If you're considering hiring Clover Events (and specifically Niki Gubernat--I didn't get to work with Katherine, although I'm sure she's lovely), DO IT! My husband and I were totally new to the wedding planning thing, and although we found most of our vendors on our own and/or through our venue, we were especially nervous about pulling everything together. This was where Niki came in. She was so much more than just a day-of coordinator; she met with us initially to provide an overview of her services, checked in with a phone call about six months before the wedding, and then really jumped in about six weeks out.
Ironically, a few nights before our long timeline meeting with Niki, I had my first real moments of panic about the wedding: How was I possibly going to manage all of these vendors, wedding party members, and other folks?! Following our meeting, I felt SO much better. It was clear that Niki (and her assistant Lauren) had everything covered. They thought of questions and tasks that never would have even crossed my mind, and having Niki take over all communication with the vendors was so helpful! She was also great during our walk-through meeting and provided the perfect mix of kindness and assertiveness, and we were in almost constant communication in the days and weeks leading up to the wedding. Niki was able to handle so much and really just left us to take care of items that only we could do: creating a seating chart, buying bridesmaids gifts, etc.
On the day of the wedding, I was so relieved to see Niki when things started to get moving, because I knew that I had nothing to worry about. She did a great job of directing the members of the wedding party on all of the little things: When to get dressed, where to meet after our first look, etc., and she also addressed any other questions they had. (She had also put together a fantastic timeline for the wedding party with minute-by-minute plans, and we got a lot of rave reviews on this!) I wasn't around for this, but apparently Niki also did an amazing job of packing up all of our items following the reception. My mom said that she would have been worth the money just for completing this task!
TL;DR: Hire Clover Events. You won't be disappointed and will enjoy your wedding so much more because your stress level will be so much lower!
We worked with Niki at Clover Events for our wedding this past weekend. I can not emphasize enough how critical of a role she played in month-of planning. Niki was amazing in guiding us and making our day come together.
We had a ceremony and reception an hour away with 180 guests so logistics was important. On top of that, Niki was able to provide advice for us to make the day run a lot smoother.
I can't recommend her for wedding planning enough.
Niki from Clover Events did an exceptional job with our wedding. She made our lives so much easier through the whole process. She's extremely personable and knows her stuff. Niki was my Month-Of Wedding Coordinator and I could not be HAPPIER! She was amazing to work with! Kind, organized, detail-oriented, understanding, and so hard-working! She really got to know me & my now-husband. She cared deeply about learning our preferences, styles, family dynamics, and vision for our big day, and worked tirelessly to ensure that we had our dream wedding! The price we paid compared to the services and piece of mind we got with Niki was an absolute steal. She worked so hard on our behalf for the entire month before and the entire day of the wedding. Working with Katherine and Niki at Clover Events was such a positive experience! We hired Katherine for month-of coordination and help sourcing vendors. We were planning our wedding from San Francisco, so Katherine’s expertise in Chicago wedding vendors was invaluable (we loved each and every vendor she recommended! Our only problem vendor was the one I selected without her input…). She went out of her way to be accommodating with scheduling appointments (with her and other vendors) when we were in town. Katherine did an excellent job of listening to our vision for the event, but also guiding us and letting us know if and when our initial thoughts might not turn out well. I particularly appreciated Katherine’s calm demeanor during the wedding weekend itself – she was smiling and seemed unfazed by issues as they arose. Communication was excellent throughout the process. Our wedding day was a dream, and Katherine and her team played a large part in making it possible.

Katherine was an absolute dream to work with. We used her month-of coordinating services and she really made sure that our day was perfect. From taking initiative to reach out to our vendors, helping us negotiate favorable prices given her experience and vast network in the industry, and creating a detailed and informative timeline, we couldn’t have asked for anything more from a coordinator. Even though we only hired her for the “month of” package, Katherine was always very responsive to any and all questions we had from the moment we hired her about 4 months before the big day. She initiated multiple in-person meetings and always gave us her undivided attention. Katherine made us feel like we were at the top of her list, remembered little details that we brought up about our families or random desires for the big day and clearly communicated throughout the entire process. But most importantly, the day of our wedding was absolutely perfect and the coordination was seamless thanks to Katherine and her wonderful and caring team.
Where do I begin? I can't imagine my wedding without Katherine Healy Brown and her team at Clover Events.
From beginning to end, she made planning so easy -- which was great because I have no idea what I'm doing! She stuck to my budget, found me fantastic vendors, was unbelievably organized (so organized that even the vendors commented about how much they loved working with her), and kept all the planning on track. She's well connected in the city, knows what she's doing, and is extremely detail-oriented.
The day of was just as good as the planning. Katherine was on top of everything and made sure the day ran smoothly so our families and we could simply enjoy our wedding day.
