CMI was fantastic! I bought my fiancée’s engagement ring here and the experience was smooth, simple and very pleasant. The staff was patient, didn’t try to pressure any sales, and gave me a fantastic ring that fit within my budget! I visited many different jewelers during the process, and CMI was the only one that was able to provide what I was looking for without charging extra warranty fees, service costs or any extra “stuff.” I ended up with a gorgeous piece, and my fiancée loves it! I’ll definitely be going back to CMI for any future purchases.

Cmi has now helped me with both my engagement ring and our wedding bands. Tim went above and beyond in helping me design and create my fiance's engagement ring. Throughout the process he was fun to work with, very knowledgeable, and fantastic all around. I know on these reviews people often repeat stuff like that but it bears repeating again and again. I highly recommend cmi. The staff there after one visit remembered me and it was an easy choice for us to get our wedding bands there too. I talked them up a great deal to my fiance and even so I'm pretty sure they exceeded her expectations. The two bands turned out fantastic and you should stop reading this review and head to cmi right now, you won't regret it. They've earned a lifetime of jewelry buying from me and I bet they'll earn it from you too.

I cannot begin to explain how incredible CMI is. Their showroom is absolutely stunning, and everyone who works there is amazing. While my fiancé was deployed he emailed them about getting my engagement ring. He sent them photos he found on my Pinterest, and they crafted the ring of my dreams. We are absolutely thrilled with the entire experience, and can't wait to buy our wedding bands from here. Thank you so much to Kim & Tim; you guys are awesome! I'm so in love with my ring. My parents have been going to CMI for years, and when it came time to go ring shopping this was the place they told us to go. The staff were incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. Philicia helped us pick out the perfect ring. They worked with my fiancee to customize my ring and it is beyond beautiful. Support this local gem (pun intended) and prepare to be wowed!

My Fiancé found my engagement ring here and it was absolutely perfect! It was a flawless diamond and the exact setting I wanted. I am greeted with a warm smile and hello when I walk in and when I leave. I also purchased my fiance's wedding band from here and they gave me the best price possible for it! i would recommend this store to any and everyone for all your jewelry needs. If you are in the Triangle, you should 100% head over to CMI (even if you aren't local, it's worth the travel). My fiancé and I went to look at engagement rings prior to our engagement, and it was a great experience. When you walk into the showroom, you are taken aback by all of the beautiful selections. We were greeted and were able to go through the selections of engagement rings (there are A LOT! Any style you are interested in is there!) by ourselves. After we had made our round, a member of the CMI team patiently went through every case with us, and let me try on rings I was interested in. After explaining what I was interested in in a ring, and what I expected out of a ring, she explained the pros and cons of each ring, which was so helpful, as I hadn't thought of a lot of the things she pointed out! She told me that at CMI, no one works off of commission, so I did not feel any of the uneasy feelings of "upselling," which was great. After going through all of the cases, she wrote down the ones I loved. My fiancé then met with Kim, where Kim further helped him pick one out, and it is my dream ring! I recommend CMI to anyone looking to get engaged!

Hands down the best jeweler I have ever been to! My fiance and I were shopping for engagement rings, and being non-traditional I did not want a diamond. Every single jeweler we went to prior to CMI pressured us into diamonds, diamonds, and more diamonds. I was told why certain things would not work and was not given other options. When we went to CMI we talked with Phelicia who was amazing in helping pick out the setting and giving us ideas on stones. Their selection was amazing and Phelicia let us spend as much time as we wanted trying on different styles. She helped us narrow down favorites, and suggested the band we ended up selecting! She scoured the gem markets for a pear shaped Tsavorite and a few weeks later it was in the store. It was beautiful, everything we wanted, and totally me. There was absolutely no pressure to buy at any point during our shopping experience, and we even got a discount for the future when we bought our bands (which we have also done!). CMI is amazing and I won't be going to any "big box" jewelry stores again!

I heard about CMI through some family friends. They had been buying their jewelry there for years, so I had to take a look for myself! Their showroom is quite large and they have many brands to choose from. But the main thing that stood out to me was their customer service and willingness to find what I was looking for in an engagement ring. They worked with their sources to find the perfect diamond within my budget, quality, size, etc. They even helped me customize the ring to make it even more special and unique. CMI is amazing. We're last minute people and they were so creative and accommodating. My engagement and wedding band didn't arrive in time (because we waited too long to order) and so CMI suggested resizing the floor models so we could still have the rings we needed for our events. They have such a unique, amazing selection, great quality, and their prices are reasonable! Never once did we feel sales pressure either! Philicia was simply amazing. My fiancé proposed in the dark and they gave him a box with an LED to make sure I could see the ring! So cute and thoughtful. This will be our lifetime jewelry store. And on top of this, supporting CMI means you're supporting local business and not at some chain where everyone across the country has your same ring.

Kim at CMI was wonderful to work with; he helped my fiancé Brian pick out a gorgeous Fana New York double halo setting. My ring is absolutely stunning, and the clarity of the diamonds are excellent. I constantly get compliments on my ring with people asking me where I got it, and how nice the diamond quality is. Brian was referred to CMI by a colleague of his, and now we refer others to CMI as well. They provide outstanding service, beautiful jewelry, and great quality! My husband and I went to CMI to re-vamp my original engagement/wedding ring for our 25th Anniversary. We worked with Felicia to find a new, more modern setting for my engagement stone. She was very helpful in navigating the hundreds of options available, offering good advice when I tried to select a band that would owerhelm my original stone. She even had a great suggestion about what to do with my original setting, put a cubic zirconia in it for use when I don't want to wear my good set - vacationing in a foreign country anyone?!!! The finished product is beautiful, it pays homage to my original stone and has a more current look, just what I wanted! Would not hesitate to use CMI for all my jewelry needs, if they can make me happy with my new wedding set, they can do anything!!!!

After shopping at several stores in the Triangle area, CMI had by far the best and most diverse selection of engagement rings and diamonds, as well as the most helpful staff. I think engagement ring shopping can be a little overwhelming with all the options available, but Philicia helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and then make it happen quickly and for a great price. The staff are also very good about communicating with customers throughout the whole process, including working with you on any custom touches you might want. Most importantly, my fiancee absolutely loves the ring.

CMI designed my engagement ring and made it just the way I wanted. The quality of the ring was impeccable. The staff was excellent and super helpful. My husband and I went there several times to resize rings and were always helped promptly! They had a large selection of engagement settings and wedding bands, and were always willing to customize any item we chose. The jeweler is onsite most days. Philicia was our main consultant and is absolutely wonderful!

My wedding set was stolen which was very unusual. Kim was amazing to work with. He was so committed to finding the right diamond and recreating the original setting he even brought a jeweler out of retirement to create it. Amazing commitment to excellency. Before going to CMI, I visited all of the main big box jewelry stores, and none can compare to CMI. The selection at CMI is outstanding! I came to CMI with an idea of an engagement ring, and Philicia helped me custom design the perfect the ring. The whole process took around 3 months, and during that time Philicia was very professional and always willing to help. Contrary to other big box stores, CMI does not work off commission. In my opinion and experiences this provided me with a ring shopping experience and final product. I would highly recommend CMI and Philicia!

I worked with Sherri, Philicia, and Tim and they were amazing throughout the process from the engagement ring to both wedding bands. We had customized rings for all 3 and they came out perfect. They took the time to work with us to get exactly what we wanted and even then ensured it was right before they contacted us to let us know it was done. Great people!

I was referred here for a ring resizing, and because the band width is so small most commercial jewelers won't do it. I was not disappointed! The staff is very knowledgeable and professional, double checking all the details to make sure my ring would be alright, and they were so friendly and helpful besides. My order was completed in a few hours (they said because they weren't backed up), and there is honestly not a seam anywhere. My ring looks just as beautiful as when i got it, and actually fits. I highly reccomend them!

CMI is a great little secret in Raleigh! Our gemologist Keith, is amazing and is so knowlegeable and really educated us on our purchases. we will buy jewelry from CMI again!
