ts of the island that we were even able to pull this wedding weekend off— she is truly the GOAT of Catalina wedding planning! We had 3 events on 3 nights at 3 different venues on the island, and Lindsy and her team ensured that all 3 ran seamlessly and looked gorgeous.
Lindsy connected me with the perfect florist for me. Her recommendation of who would work best with me and my personality/“wiring” was 100% spot on. She had a great read on me and what I needed, and connected me with someone who understood my communication style and made the floral process very smooth, and absolutely delivered on the wedding weekend. And I have Lindsy to thank for that!
The 6 months leading up to our wedding weekend in December was not the easiest, mostly due to difficult family dynamics in planning the welcome party and rehearsal dinner. Lindsy stayed calm and collected (when I could not, lol) and finessed some really serious tension with the individuals creating issues, so that we could have our events the way we sought to have them unfold. I want to specifically note Lindsy’s skill and the way she was an absolute pro in the face of real family drama— not that she wants to deal with more of that (lol), but know that if you have some sticky family stuff happening, you can rest-assured that you are in incredibly competent hands with Lindsy. She approaches family disagreements with a gifted and political touch that I can only dream of having, and I would not have made it to the wedding weekend without her. Lindsy took the extra step of letting the vendor team know what to expect heading into the wedding weekend, so that everyone was prepared and knew how to navigate things to do their jobs effectively. She is the perfect captain of a vendor team!
Lindsy was the calm in the storm of the wedding day and quickly adapted to issues that unfolded. I was sick for 2 hours in the morning which threw off the timeline considerably, but Lindsy is such a pro that she kept things moving and reworked others so that we were only 30 minutes behind schedule to the venue for pre-ceremony photos— a true miracle!!!! My mom kept referring to Lindsy as our own personal Tree Paine (iykyk), and we are so grateful for her!
I’d also like to speak to the care and competence of the whole Coastal Coordinates team, because everyone we worked with did a wonderful job. On the day-of prior to the ceremony, lead assistant Sierra handled (yet another) an extremely difficult family situation with SUCH professionalism and grace in the face of some truly icky and unpleasant interactions. The 2 assistants who held my dress/train and waited with me and my dad “in the wings” during the processional were so calm and attentive— exactly the energy I needed in that moment! At one point I got tired of standing and told them that I was going to squat for a bit (which they needed to know, since they were holding my dress, lol), and one of them quickly said, “go for it, but let me see if I can find you a chair!” And came back about 45 seconds later with a chair for me to sit in.
There’s so much more I could say, but to summarize: hire Coastal Coordinates! Lindsy and her team are competent and compassionate and move through wedding planning and execution with grace and ease— you are in excellent hands!

As a type-a person I was worried I'd be obsessing on timeline and details, but the way that Lindsy lead us kept me calm and allowed me to be completely present with my friends and loved ones.
Lindsy also has impeccable style. Wether you need her to come up with a vision, or support and build on your own - she will make it come true, always being honest about what will work best for your given event space based on her ample experience.

I didn't know this until after the wedding, but before our welcome party, she noticed that my mom was shivering a bit and might need additional layers. I'd also shared with Lindsy that my mom has parkinsons. With grace and subtlety, Lindsy got my mom everything she needed and more, to ensure she was comfortable. The fact that I didn't know about this until after the fact is a testament to her character and genuine care for those she works with.

Everything turned out beautiful!! We got so many complements on how smooth our wedding was. I know for a fact Lindsy and her team were a big reason we all felt this way! We ended up extending our wedding night day of by an hour, Lindsy coordinated this with all the vendors night of to make sure this was okay and the end of our wedding continued to be smooth!

Lindsy dealt with our procrastination so well, she figured us out as a couple and made the planning process as smooth as we would let her. She was quick to respond to questions and on the day I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. We threw a lot of curveballs at her and she batted 1000! She kept me in the loop on everything and gave me me great suggestions on things that I hadn’t even thought about, from sound equipment to napkin folds. She really came through for me when the original cake vendor completely failed me, and quickly proposed an alternative cake vendor that worked out so much better logistically and taste wise. Our wedding was a destination for us (the couple) as well as most of our guests, so it was key that Lindsy be on top of everything as we were not able to physically be there for a final walkthrough, etc. She let us in on every detail and truly cared about every concern we had. Come the day of the wedding, she had a calming energy that was very much needed. There were a couple of concerns that I had the day of and she (as well as her team) instantly addressed them. We also had a major mishap with one of our vendors and Lindsy advocated for us during the wedding as well as after. She apologized on behalf of this specific vendor (when it wasn’t her fault at all) and followed up with various emails, even weeks after our wedding, to make sure that we were fairly compensated. You really don’t know how intricate the wedding planning process is until you go through it yourself and I’m so thankful that Lindsy worked with us to help make our dream wedding a reality.

I’m huge on DIY but we finally reached the point in our wedding planning where we could not keep up without finding help. And it’s crazy what you don’t know about wedding planning that you really need to know. That’s where Lindsy stepped in. We weren’t required to have a outside coordinator and our venue had a coordinator but we would not have had the event we had without her. Since our venue was a rather small space, it had to be flipped several times. The amount of coordination this took with vendors and the venue coordinator was not easy but on the day of my wedding it felt so smooth and elegant. I’m so glad that the only thing I had to worry about on the day of my wedding is if the weather would be beautiful, but even if it hadn’t I’m confident Lindsy would had a plan. If you want to enjoy the fruits of your labor after planing for months or years, you should give her a call. The only thing I regret is not calling her sooner!

h 3 weeks to go (during COVID wedding season, no less!). We'd relocated from a historic museum to a family backyard for our modified ceremony & reception, and there were some big planning gaps to fill. Lindsy dove right in; she helped us secure last minute vendors, created and reviewed the best layout for the space, and covered every last detail. She made us feel like it really WAS going to happen and we wouldn't have to sacrifice our vision in the process! When the day came, Lindsy was the first in and last to leave.
