Coastal Drift Events is run by Kelsey Carpenter, an Alabama native who wants lovebirds to experience the magic of Alabama’s coastal region. Kelsey is particularly passionate about planning weddings that are creative, breathtaking, and unforgettable. While her true calling is for event coordination, this professional also holds an M.S. in Civil and Coastal Engineering. For more than four years she has had the privilege of curating luxurious and stylish weddings for couples and their families. Packages at Coastal Drift Events begin with the simple yet elegant You, Me, & the Sea, which is perfect for intimate elopements. This option comes with a ceremony coordinator, smoothed sand, an arbor or tiki torches, white chiffon drapery, decorations, and unlimited communication. The most comprehensive package adds a professional photographer and officiant, 50 white resin chairs, chair sashes, speakers and music, setup and breakdown, and a rehearsal. Kelsey and her team also provide décor such as a jute rug, lanterns, shepherd hooks, and signage. However, all packages can be customized, and the Coastal Drift Team encourages wants to create a unique experience for their clients. All packages include an initial consultation, vendor recommendations, budget management, timeline creation, and event design.
