Let me start with saying I don't usually like to say negative things about people. I dont know if she was just having an off day for my wedding or what but she just totally bombed...
my pictures. She missed soooo many shots that should have been shot and she was rude to my other vendors and guests and the wedding party also noticed her horrible attitude. I wish I could have a redo when choosing a photographer :( the pictures I do have were so unflattering to myself and others in my bridal party. There were no pictures taken of my full wedding party at the alter and the ones she got of me and my husband standing there looked as if someone just took them on their cell phone. She chose the worst background for my family and wedding party portraits. I even said I didnt like that spot and she basically told me tough and that is was the only place with the lighting she needed being outside. I was very specific on shots and poses I wanted and she didn't get them. Her excuse was that wedding days are too fluid to get everything. I can't even rant long enough about how terrible she was. She was hard to get ahold of and she never even apologized for her rudeness or how bad her pictures turned out. And she makes it extremely difficult to access your pictures. She won't even allow you to download them on your phone. The one picture she took of just my husband was the ONLY picture she got of my husband as he saw me walking down the isle. Only one, and it's through people and not even how I remember him looking at me. She just missed it. The angles and views were the quality of someone who just started

rude the servers and the owners. The owners called a family member drunk redneck and this person has never had a drink in their life!! Promised to set up chairs for ceramony and never did we were stuck setting up

The next morning to clean up and collect all decor and as the wedding was ending and they received all payment the owner and her husband demanded us to clean up. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VENUE it’s a shame because it is beautiubjt they made this event horrible.

ly. The wait staff was very pleasant and assistive with everything we asked, from serving the cake to clean up and even boxed up the left over cake and food. Thanks to everyone who made this wedding a success!

ughter just got married there and i have to agree with the previous reviewer. although this is a very nice venue the owners not so much. When we all toured the venue to determine if it was "the one" we were met by the Husband. i say the Husband because there was never an introduction of any kind and I only knew the wife as Kathy. "The husband", still don't know his name showed us around and was extremely nice. as father of the bride i wanted to make sure everything was going to be perfect. While we were planning the Wedding with over a year to do so, Kathy was very distant and difficult to reach. i was only given the restarant number to contact her and if it wasn't open she wasn't answering. the day of the wedding the owners had a very nasty attitude telling us that certain area's were off limits , areas her husband had told us were included during our tour. I guess the ole bait and switch. They would not help arrange the tables and chairs in the reception hall or lift a finger to help. we actually never saw them until the end of the night and time to settle up the bill. We made the best of it with two very good families working hard to make it special for our children.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VENUE TO ANYONE AND HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF EVER GOING BACK.
As a parent you want the best for your childrens Wedding Day. Not knowing where things were stored and no help from the owners made it very difficult for the families trying to make sure everything was set up and went off without a hitch. Stay away!!!! Steve
Although we have stayed here before and referred several friends and family members...we will never stay here again or refer anyone else! Last night we had dinner and rented a cab...
in, only to encounter a severe storm which knocked out the power to the entire property. We were left in complete darkness (and if you've been here, you know that's pitch black and scary). The restaurant has a back up generator, however, the cabins do not. We did not have a flashlight or a candle, and they do not have any emergency numbers to call. After sitting in the dark for an hour and a half, no one ever came to check on us or offer us a candle or light. We tried calling the restaurant and emailing from our phones (which were dying) with NO response from either. We decided to leave and drive home, as this "romantic" evening was now a scary disaster! We couldn't shower, use the tub, watch television, etc. so this was a wasted stay! We emailed again as we left, advising the Snow's of this unfortunate situation, assuming they would either refund a portion of our stay, or even offer a rain check for a future stay...We had to call back the next morning because they did not respond to our emails or phone messages. Mrs. Snow's response to our ruined birthday celebration: "We can't control the weather"!!!. REALLY??? You run "HOSPITALITY" business yet you leave your "guests" literally IN THE DARK. After explaining everything to Mrs. Snow (the owner) she simply said "sorry". No, Mrs. Snow...I feel sorry for your you that you run a hospitality business yet you obviously don't care about your guests! You will never receive another dollar from us, our friends or family.

hat made us feel like home. Pictures do not do Cody Creek justice, its one of those places you have to see to believe. We got married here September 20th, 2014 and I can honestly say it was the best day of my life. The owners are amazing and will help you any way the possibly can. I cant even begin to count how many compliments I have received in regards to how beautiful our venue was. Cody Creek made my fairytale possible and I thank them from the bottom of my heart~ Molly
