I can not thank Deb and her team enough for the beautiful work they did for our wedding two weeks ago. She worked tirelessly for months to make everything perfect. She took my ideas and ran with them, paying attention to every single detail. The majority of compliments we got on our wedding day were for her flower arrangements and decorations. The flowers on the cake, the garland and candles on the head table, each beautiful centerpiece filled with flowers and fruit, the ceremony backdrop, it was all better than I could have ever imagined. Deb and her team made our wedding an absolute fairytale dream. The planning was easy, the delivery was prompt (thanks Leslie!) and the end result was better than I ever dreamed. I cannot thank Colonial Flower Shoppe enough for their services, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for floral decor for any occasion!
Debbie did such a wonderful job with our flowers. They were just what I was looking for and could not have asked for anything better. She was extremely attentive to detail and made sure everything looked perfect for the day of the wedding. This was an excellent place to get wedding flowers from and I would highly recommend Colonial Flowers to anyone looking in the area.
My flowers were beautiful, but not exactly what I was expecting. That's partially my fault in I'm not that artistic and have a hard time visualizing what something like that will look like. I loved my bouquet and my flower girl's. My bridesmaids and MOHs were nice though a little different than the image I had. My junior bridesmaids ended up having 2 different color flowers in them (one of the colors I did not like) and I had not agreed to that, but I didn't see them until it was too late. One of the girls had a flower that kept popping off. Wouldn't be a big deal, except she only had like 4 flowers in her bouquet. We had to go around a few times though because the things that I had asked for were not quite right though we figured it out luckily before she ordered the flowers. Also, I made sure to do email with her so that I had everything in writing. I was upset by the placement of the flowers in the church (not where we had discussed-- where they were placed were neither or the 2 places we discussed) and I felt as though you couldn't see the flowers. I was also under the impression that I would be seeing all my flowers the day before the wedding. Come to find out, I was only seeing what was completed at that point-- which was like 2 or 3 things. If you decide to use this vendor, just make sure that you spell everything out ahead of time and have it in writing. Like I said, most of the flowers were beautiful, but things were not always clear.
I was not particular about my flowers - I gave Colonial Florist a budget and said I wanted things "in white" and they did a fantastic job with my bouquet and boutonniers, including using a number of really beautiful varieties that I would not have thought of. They even delivered them to our wedding site the day of the wedding... in a hurricane!
She had great ideas on what arrangement would look best with my dress. She offered suggestions on how to cut cost with flowers, too.;She is a little expensive, but I think it was worth it because I knew I was getting what I wanted, and what would look good.
