There simply aren't enough words to express our gratitude to Yuani Valentine, Weddings & Special Events Coordinator & Lindsay Codekas, Floral Designer Manager for Colonial Williamsburg & their special teams for making our daughter's wedding day feel like something right out of a fairytale. Our daughter was married in the Oval Garden on June 06, 2026. From our very first meeting with these women to the final moments of our daughter's wedding weekend, every detail was handled with professionalism, grace & genuine care.  Yuani's exceptional organization, attention to detail & her calm presence made the entire planning process enjoyable & stress free. Every question was answered promptly, every concern was addressed with kindness & every aspect of the day was executed flawlessly. Our daughter's wedding truly felt like a fairytale. The setting was breathtaking & every detail reflected the love & care that went into making this day so special. Because of Yuani, we were able to relax, celebrate & cherish every moment because we knew everything was in such capable hands.  Lindsay's talent, creativity & attention to detail were evident in every arrangement, bouquet & centerpiece. They all were stunning & absolutely breathtaking. She literally took our daughter's vision & transformed it into something even more beautiful that we could've ever imagined. The florals added so much elegance, romance & magic to the day. And the garland around the tree was beyond magnificent. Having it as a backdrop for many of our photos was the finishing touch to a magical fairytale day. Our guests are still talking about how stunning all the florals were. Lindsay truly created an atmosphere that was truly unforgettable.  Beyond these two women's incredible artistry & talents, they were such a joy to work with - professional, thoughtful, responsive & genuinely invested in making our daughter's wedding everything she wanted. That kind of care is rare & deeply appreciated. rfect balance offering options and listening to our ideas, She guided us through initial pricing and contracts. Moving through the process, you really won’t find better wedding help than Yuani Valentin! She had us every step of the way with timing, planning, options, suggestions, and kindness. We really felt guided and supported.  Pricing was always very clear, and options offered but never pushed. We had cost guidance all the way through, with no surprises — really appreciated that! Yuani thought of things we had forgotten and came through with details. Everyone at the Inn was kind and made our family and friends feel special. Our wedding felt personal to us and seemed important to them.  We were delighted with the high quality of the food! We had several very special requests for cakes and fun food, and the team was playfully enthusiastic creating our vision.  The grounds and venues are top notch. We used the Inn’s Fountain Garden for a Friday evening welcome reception for all guests.  For the ceremony, we used the lawn at the Inn, patio for cocktails, and Regency room (and outdoor patio w fire pit) for the reception. You cannot beat the classy Williamsburg Inn for the venue — and wait for your beautiful pictures- every shot is gorgeous in this setting. The florals were high end.  Our guests loved the Colonial Williamsburg setting.  There are a range of accommodation options (and prices) with things for guests to do outside the wedding events. Many guests came a couple of days early, and we had fun impromptu meets ups with lots of time to enjoy family and friends.

She took the time to gather all the information we needed, worked with our timeline and budget, and helped ensure every detail aligned with our vision. Her guidance made the venue selection and planning process seamless. Yuani was the most incredible wedding planner we could have ever asked for. She was attentive, responsive, organized, and so thoughtful throughout the entire process. From our first conversations to the wedding day itself, she cared for us as if we were family. Her communication and attention to detail gave us complete peace of mind, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment leading up to our wedding. Lindsay was amazing to work with for our florals. She handled a last-minute change with ease, and the flowers were absolutely stunning. Every arrangement exceeded our expectations and brought our vision to life beautifully. The entire staff at the Williamsburg Inn went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend unforgettable. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely invested in creating an exceptional experience for us and our guests. ly enjoy being engaged. Liz guided us through initial options and contracts with clarity and Yuani coordinated every detail with calm expertise, and made us feel well supported throughout. They accommodated our bar package and worked with us to bring in our own family champagne, a personal touch that meant a lot to us. They made it possible for our procession to wind through the stunning Governor's Palace, and coordinated a seamless transition from the church via fife and drum, through the Palace, to cocktail hour in the garden, and on to the tent for dinner. Every handoff was smooth, every detail considered. Lindsay's floral work was stunning throughout the day and we could not have been more pleased. The bakery team also delivered exactly what we had asked for: an elegant, simple cake that was perfect (and delicious!!). On the day itself, the magic of Colonial Williamsburg's setting did exactly what you hope it will. We could not have asked for more!

reception at the Inn in the Regency Room and our rehearsal Dinner at Shields Tavern and both events ran flawlessly and were absolutely beautiful. The venue coordinator Yuani is a god send. Easy to communicate with, organized, so knowledgeable about local vendors/who to contact for what. I trusted Yuani entirely with our wedding and she over delivered. Truly so grateful. Lindsay the florist at CW did such beautiful work and our guests are still talking about our center pieces and overall floral. She took my very vague vision and turned it into stunning floral tablescapes. She was great at communicating the different price points and working within our budget. The food at both events was amazing and a guest highlight. I HIGHLY recommend a rehearsal dinner at the one of the taverns, the food was fantastic and the ambience is truly 'Colonial Williamsburg'. The pastry chef delivered a beautiful cake that was exactly my vision and delicious too! As an out-of-town bride it was also really helpful that a lot of things are in house/optionally in house; catering, floral, cake, tables, chairs, plates, silverware and glassware, etc. You can add additional rentals if you want, but a lot they already, have reducing the number of vendors you need to coordinate with. HIGHLY recommend Colonial Williamsburg for your event if its on your radar at all. The CW team made our wedding day a perfect dream!

From starting the day with a chinoiserie bridal luncheon with The Williamsburg Inn chef to the perfect horse-drawn carriage and fife and drum escort, Yuani struck the right balance of classic elegance and Colonial Williamsburg charm. ober and didn't end up booking until February of the following year but they were never pushy and always tried to find ways to make us happy. We had our cocktail hour in the east lounge and moved over to the regency room for dinner and dancing. Our guests were in awe at the beauty and history of The Inn. They also commented that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. We did a played dinner and he presentation, service, food itself was impeccable. We had a bourbon bar,s'mores and cigars outside. The Inn was so attentive to my needs as the bride- they customized every single dish for us. I cannot reccommend this venue highly enough. From the space to the people you will work with In the planning process, it was a complete joy. Thank you to the entire team at The Inn, but especially Michele, for making our wedding day exceed all expectations.

ere are numerous indoor and outdoor options to choose from to get the exact atmosphere you want for your event. The staff is excellent, and willing to accommodate unconventional requests. Had we booked our reception there, they would have worked with us to make a custom menu and wedding cake. This is far superior to other venues in the area, which have a "pick 2 of the following 4 options" catering style. They also have an onsite coordinator included in the cost. Overall cost for a June wedding, 2017 would have been $15,000 food and drink minimum, plus site rental fee. The sites we considered were the Rockefeller complex ($5,000) and regency room ($3,000). Additionally, one honeymoon night at the 5-star Williamsburg Inn is included, and a hotel room block comes with discounted tickets to Colonial Williamsburg.

We were connected with the Williamsburg Inn via our wedding planner. All of the properties from Colonial Williamsburg are under a single umbrella, and we actually held our wedding...
in the old Rockefeller art museum and buildings. The event staff were great to work with, and the chef and pastry chef left everyone raving about the food. Our contract was executed perfectly. I would have given a 5 but the event order took 10+ tries to get correct and we were still overbilled as the invoice was never corrected. We did get refunded the overage in the end, but it was very stressful for us. I would highly recommend using a wedding planner as a go between as she handled most of the contact with Inn staff
