Our wedding was on 6/28/2014 at 1pm. We chose the Columbus Club because a friend recommended it and we had a nice tour. The smaller ballroom (Pardise Ballroom) was suggested by Peter Silano (event planner) because we had 120 guests. We chose to... have 'chilled jumbo shrimp cocktail', 'miniature open faced reuben sandwiches', 'chicken & cheese quesadilla cornucopia', 'asparagus fillo with asiago cheese, domestic cheese & cracker display and 'fresh fruit kabobs'. The pictures of the food were very pretty, jumbo chilled shrimp in a silver bowl, fruit kabobs that looked almost floral.and tiers of cheese & crackers with grapes cascading down. The reality was flat plastic platters, no jumbo shrimp in a silver bowl, sliced fruit on flat platters and slices of grilled sandwich that tasted somewhat like a reuben. After I asked about the shrimp, small warm peeled shrimp appeared. The bride's room was locked when I arrived & air conditioning off. The Paradise Ballroom was hot & too small for our group. The band could not set up where we had discussed. Guests left early because of the heat and because they were hungry. It took 45 minutes to take pictures after the ceremony. By the time we returned to the ballroom most of the food was gone. Our wedding cake was served without forks. Our wedding was fun, but in hind sight I should have chosen to have it elsewhere. I do not recommend this facility.
