Trying to find the words to describe Nicole are so hard, calling her incredible is an understatement.
Nicole was the last vendor we hired and my only regret of our whole wedding is not finding her early enough to hire her first. She’s the sweetest and most genuine person I’ve ever met in my life. The week leading up to our wedding showed rain and I was an absolute mess with it. The support she gave us throughout that was next level. Not only that, but she started helping us out before our contract even officially started. She gave us so many pointers and helped us with the vision of our day. Event planning was truly Nicole’s calling. I feel like throughout this process I’ve gained someone I want to be best friends with. She is the best hype woman, truly.
Many people don’t think they need an event planner (I was one of them) but I can truly say you are wrong. Nicole made sure everything was on track and quickly adapted to anything that was out of her control that went wrong. The entire day was so seamless. All of our guests told us afterwards how perfect the day went and it was really all because of how she handled it.
Again, all I can say is thank you to Nicole for everything she did for us. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and I couldn’t refer her enough to anyone planning not only a wedding but any event.
We cannot express enough gratitude for Nicole and her outstanding month-of wedding management services. We hired Nicole to help manage our August 31,2024 wedding and it was the BEST decision we made!! I don’t know how we would have got through the month-of without her. From coordinating detailed timelines with our venue and vendors to managing every aspect of our wedding day, she truly delivered on her promise to make our day stress-free and unforgettable!!! The last few weeks leading up to our wedding were so much easier thanks to her expertise and organization. She took on the role of main contact for our vendors, meticulously organized and led our wedding rehearsal, helped with guest table seating and meal arrangements, worked with the photographer to make sure he captured all of the best moments, worked with the reception venue coordinator to make sure everything was set up according to plan and ensured every detail on our wedding day was executed perfectly. Because of her, we were able to fully enjoy every moment of our special day without a worry in the world. Thank you SO much, Nicole from the bottom of our hearts for making our dream wedding a reality!!

Compass was spot on with the last event we worked on together. As the principle of Production and cinematography team, we engaged with Nicole early on and knew she was a great collaborator. Having a great organizer like Nicole, made our role on storytelling that much more special and impressive. Great communication and energy – we also witnessed her incredible attention to detail and commitment to the experience of our mutual client and guests. When our original wedding venue fell through 2 months before our big day, we turned to Compass Event Planning to handle all the last minute changes that needed to take place. Between finding a second decor company, dealing with our transportation and catering company's new logistics, and contacting the rest of our vendors to handle the change in venue, the amount of work that needed to be done before our wedding date seemed to be insurmountable. However, despite the overwhelming list of tasks that needed completing, Nicole was able to quickly and effectively tackle each problem and then clearly communicate the changes that were made to us. Being a bit of a control freak myself, she made sure that I felt as involved in the changes as I wanted while still keeping the stress off of me. Our wedding day went incredibly smooth and turned out absolutely beautiful. At one point or another during the day, nearly every one of our guests complimented us on how lovely everything turned out. If it weren't for her hands-on approach and her amazing multitasking ability, I can say with all certainty that our wedding day would not have been half as great as it was. To this day I am thankful for Compass Event Planning's role in our wedding and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone planning their events in the future!

As a DJ/vendor we all know how frustrating a Wedding/Event Planner can be. Not Nicole, she was honestly amazing to work with. Most planners I've worked with show up a month or week before an event ready to change up everything with the "my way or the highway" mentality which can be frustrating for us vendors especially after we've built a great relationship with our clients. Don't get me wrong Nicole took control, but not without letting us know that out input and professionalism still mattered. Her attention to detail was nothing short of amazing. She decorated, designed, and quarterbacked the entire event. She was strong with staying on time with the timeline without over-pressing her clients like most planners tend to do. At the end of the day Nicole and Compass Event Planning was amazing to work with, and I wish she would move to the desert and open up shop out here!
