On the actual wedding day, she handled every little thing, plus a few unexpected curveballs, so seamlessly that I barely even knew anything had happened behind the scenes. The whole day felt smooth, stress-free, and exactly how we imagined it. I genuinely don’t know what I would’ve done without her. If you’re considering hiring Nicole, just do it, you’ll be so glad you did!

I would recommend her for day-of or weekend-of coordination, but would be more cautious about booking a full planning package.

ing process. Nicole hit the ground running when we started working with her in August 2024, helping us start from scratch. We were particularly impressed with Nicole’s ability to understand what we wanted and what was important to us with uncanny speed. We would provide a few sentences in our initial phone call and Nicole would be finishing our sentences for us (not literally). She was quickly able to discern exactly how we wanted our wedding day to look and feel. Sometimes she actually knew what page we were on before we did. Nicole excels at being a frank communicator (with respect for your input and vision). She was quick to let us know something that was necessary, and conversely, something that was a waste of time/money. Throughout this process, one of Nicole’s best attributes is her ability to unapologetically advocate for YOU (the Bride and Groom). She has no problem going to bat for you, ensuring that everything goes the way that YOU want. She will intercede to get you what you want, even if you think it is impossible. Nicole will advocate just as hard for your guests the day of the wedding, but she makes it clear in her words and actions that you two are always her priority. Nicole was very respectful of the vision for our day and brought it to life 10 months after our first conversation. We could not have been happier with how the day turned out. Aside from things that were well outside of her control, I can’t think of any problems we had that day. When issues did arise, she handled it professionally. Also, knowing Nicole, if there were any problems going on behind the stage that weren’t on our radar, we knew that she handled it with her usual care, efficiency and creative problem solving. We were so happy to be working on planning the wedding with Nicole (which she did so expertly) and soon found that the only thing she might do better than planning a wedding is MANAGING the wedding the day of. She becomes a wartime general/best friend mixed with a wedding planner. Her and her team (shout out Ryan) were working around the clock the weekend of our wedding doing hundreds of unseen tasks. The day OF our wedding, Nicole excelled. Nicole’s calm under fire was wild to watch, clearly one of the most experienced. Every timeline, vendor, event, etc. that was in her control went off perfectly- and any issues were dispatched with ease. She was not phased by any new development and was so clearly in complete control of the entire day. She orchestrated all of our vendors like a professional. Everything went perfectly on our big day thanks to Nicole. Many of the decisions that she made, both in planning and up to the NIGHT of saved our wedding a number of times. She really did not stop working until after we went to bed, actually managing a little fire at almost 1AM the night of our wedding - far beyond her duty. That’s what you can expect when you work with Compass! We will be recommending Nicole to any and all of our friends and family. If we were to plan a wedding again, I would do it over with Nicole in a heartbeat. She is a professional in the industry, was able to bring our vision to life, and will be one of your best friends during the process. We cannot recommend Compass Event planning strongly enough to anybody who is considering them.
