Best experience I could have ever asked for!!! David was absolutely amazing and found my dream dress! He made the experience super fun and enjoyable by allowing my guests to each pick a dress for me to try on. It was a game we played, my family versus him and naturally he won! Could not have asked for a better time, and I cannot wait to wear my beautiful dress! Thank you so much David!!!

I bought my dress in 2019 and FINALLY was able to wear it at our wedding this weekend! David and his staff are hands downs the best. My mom, sister and I had so much fun picking out dresses and found the one. My mom also picked out her dress at Complete Bridal, which was actually a prom dress. Highly recommend!

Had the best afternoon today because we got to go visit Dave and his awesome staff at Complete Bridal!! This will be the fourth wedding I am so honored to be apart of, all of my best friends chose to get their wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses from the one and only Dave! It is seriously like a party when we all go in to pick out our dresses, Dave takes his time to make sure we all look our best, all while making us laugh and telling us crazy stories throughout the visit lol! We always feel so comfortable and at ease. I will ALWAYS recommend Dave and Complete Bridal to anyone and everyone! You won’t be disappointed!! Thanks for being the best Dave! We love you!!

Wow! David and his crew are absolutely incredible. My experience was Complete Bridal - Bridal Boys was AMAZING to say the least. From the moment I called to make my appointment, I felt special and important. But the best part of the whole experience is the people. David, what to say about David, he picked my dress out before even meeting me. When I called to make my appointment, David asked a few basic questions (size, wedding date, wedding location). After answering them, David responded, "Ok. I have the perfect Jackie Onassis inspired dress for you. See you Saturday." While at the appointment, I tried on several dresses, David gave his honest opinions on each one. "If my brides don't look great, I don't look great," as he said. When I made my choice, David's response was, (I wish I was kidding) "Oh I love that Jackie O. dress on you". When I tell you I got goosebumps... HOW DID HE DO THAT!! I reminded him he said that and he was not surprised. He is SO GOOD at what he does. Next I met Sylvia, the seamstress. She is so kind and knows her stuff. She had suggestions for jewelery and hair that would look great with my dress. My dress also has a very detailed hemline and she did a great job of shortening my dress but keeping the detail. My experience at Complete Bridal - Bridal Boys was nothing less than spectacular!

This is the place to go ladies! Dave is simply wonderful I trusted him back in high school as he picked out my Prom dress, and there was no doubt to trust him in my wedding gown hunt! He truly gets to know his brides, their personalities and vision, and he has a knack for truly reading people. Dave picked my wedding dress on the very first try. It only took one dress and it was fate. He is fun, and easy going, and doesn’t want to just put you in a dress to make a sale. He wants you to feel comfortable, beautiful, and truly wants what is best for you! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for my wedding dress!

I was looking for a specific wedding dress to try and there are only 3 bridal boutiques in Illinois that carry the brand. I contacted one store and she was not very helpful. She told me she didn't have the dress but have other dresses that I might like. After that I contacted David and he immediately explained to me that the dress I'm looking for is a 2021 style dress and will not arrive in store until next year. He said he will try to get a sample of the dress so that I could at least try it on. I scheduled my appointment a month out. A few days before my appointment, David reached out to me with great news and that he was able to get a sample of the dress! During the appointment, he grabbed a few other dresses to try on and they were all similar to the style I was looking for. When I tried on the dresses, not only did David make me feel like a QUEEN but he also explained how the dresses were supposed to fit since I have a very petite figure. It was extremely helpful and informational and fun. I couldn't imagine trying on dresses with anyone else. I highly highly highly recommend David if you're looking for wedding or any type of dresses!

Thank you so much for everything you did. Your help in selecting a dress, ensuring it arrived on time, even in CoVid and referring us to a great seamstress for alterations. It all came together, thank you, you are the best!!!! I truly felt like a princess, the dress was gorgeous and you created a stress free environment.

I found the dress of my dreams today. Michael from complete bridal was absolutely amazing. He picked out amazing dresses that were exactly my style and made my experience so easy. I will recommend David and his team to everyone!

I met David at a bridal show a year before my wedding and he assured me he had the perfect dress for me at his store. I brought all 6 of my bridesmaids, my mom and my future mother-in-law into the shop and he did not disappoint. Not only did he help me find the dress of my dreams, he ensured my entire "entourage" had fun helping. I went back several times for fittings and alterations with Sylvia and she ensured that my dress fit PERFECTLY. It had lace trim on the bottom, multiple layers, and needed 6 inches of material taken off because I'm so short and she did not miss a beat. Best dress shopping/alteration experience of my life - and totally worth the 45 minute drive.

I am not one that typically writes reviews, however, I just have to rave about my experience at Complete Bridal with David! This was my first time looking for a wedding dress and I am so glad this place was recommended to me! I have been to other bridal shops and nothing compares to this one! Let me start out by saying I am a very picky, but indecisive person and David was tremendously helpful in picking out dresses that were unique to my taste as well as what he knew would look great on my body type. He knows what he is talking about and has an incredible sense of style. We were immediately greeted with enthusiasm when we showed up to the appointment and David made sure to dedicate his full attention to me for the whole duration of our time there. Not only did he find me the perfect dress, but he made the entire experience a lot of fun, kept us laughing the entire time, and the price was unbeatable! He even cut up a piece of his merchandise just so I could see how it would look on me! I could feel how much David truly cared about finding me a dress that I would absolutely love. I am so excited to walk down the aisle in my dress and I would highly recommend Complete Bridal, thank you David!!

David and team was absolutely amazing. Being an out of state bride, they made the blind purchase and first try of the dress absolutely fantastic. I’d highly recommend them to all of my friends. David was absolutely amazing to work with! I could not have been happier with my dress, he was a delight each and every time we came in, always had us laughing and having an awesome time with his sense oh humor. He is honest and straight to the point which I appreciate, he’s in no way a pushy or judge mental salesman as I had experienced with many other bridal shops. I am a plus size bride and they had a great selection for me and never once made me feel like I wasn’t beautiful because of my curves! Highly recommend them!

Before I went to Complete Bridal I had several bad experiences elsewhere. I was treated with the utmost care and respect. Dresses were pulled for me, and my party and I pulled several. Ultimately I chose one that David the owner pulled, he truly knows what he is doing!! I came back 2 days later after letting it all sink in and he was just as kind as ever. Time is short with my wedding date coming near. So he has done some magic with my dates and the ordering. He made me feel special and not like a number. He has already communicated with me twice via email to assure everything is on track. I am so encouraged and excited by my experience here! Thank you David for making this nervous bride rest assured.

After going to a good handful of shops my mom and not being completely satisfied we decided to check out a more local one. I didn't have an appointment when I walked into Bridal boys with my mom, but the owner was so welcoming when we got there. After looking at a few he pulled some dresses off the rack based on what I said I was looking for. After trying on one he somehow knew exactly what I had in mind and pulled the most perfect dress. He let us take our time and we didn't feel rushed at all. He answered any and all questions we had about the dress. I could not be more happy with my experience at bridal boys! He even brought up that during the fittings he would schedule it around my monthly cycle to account for extra bloating, I never would have thought of that! Don't let the fact they are all men deter you from going here, they were nothing but professional. I can't wait to go back to get my mom's dress and my bridesmaids dresses there.

My wedding was in August and I have to thank Complete Bridal for taking care of everything. My gown, my bridesmaids and my moms gown. Loved them. Ordered in November and got my dress in 7 months just like they said. I had to order a new gown because we didn't tell David that one of my bridesmaids needed extra length. Not only did he reorder 32 days later but they didn't charge us for the new dress. He said because the style is a good dress that they would just sell it off the rack. My mom just loved them. They had her size in stock and she looked beautiful. We tell everyone about them. Thank you Complete Bridal.

This past weekend i had my appointment with Complete Bridal. After a horrible experience with Davids and Brides by Young the day before, i wasent even sure i wanted to try more dresses on. I am so glad that i did, because the service i received from Complete Bridal was amazing. The owner David took the appointment and not only was he amazing but he had us laughing and forgetting what a horrible experience we had the day before. David not only paid attention to me, but involved my whole group and really made it much more than just "looking for a dress". I loved a lot of dresses that David put on me that day but i will be going back to look at his new inventory at the end of the month too! Thank you so much for turning my day and bridal experience around David and Complete Bridal!!!

David was absolutely wonderful! I was very unsure of what I wanted and he helped me choose a dress that looked great and I felt great in it! They are not pushy at all and truly want you to feel your best in whatever dress you wear on your big day. Loved my experience and am so excited to get my dress!

Great Experience at Bridal Boys! They really help you to find what shape of dress looks good on your body.

I came here to try on bridal gowns. When I called, he asked for details about my wedding venue and my dress size, and he told me he had the "perfect" dress for me. When I went to my appointment, I was very underwhelmed with this perfect dress chosen for me, which did not seem to sit well with the owner. I expressed that I did not see myself getting married in a form-fitting gown and preferred a dress with a fuller skirt. All the dresses I picked out (that had a full skirt), the owner told me were "ugly". I felt very judged and pressured to get a dress that I did not want. Unsurprisingly, I left without a dress with no intention to go back. Ended up getting my dress across the street at Shelley's.

I would avoid this salon if possible. I wish I had seen these reviews, or talked to some other people who had been here before I made my purchase. I did not have a great experience at this salon. I ended up purchasing a dress I didn't really like, because I panicked when they told me I didn't have enough time to go looking and still try and order a dress in time. I was told my dress would take 6.5 months to come in from China (which I see how poor the quality was of my dress - so I have no clue why the prices would be so high if they are manufactured in China). I paid half up front when ordering my dress (and they didn't let me pick the back of my dress. Ie lace up, buttons, or zipper). I only found out after the dress was ordered, that they chose the back. They contacted me a few months later for the remaining balance of the dress. I paid, with no issues. Then came time for my dress to come in. It was supposed to arrive in June. I emailed and called the store many times and rarely ever got a response. I finally got a hold of someone saying the boat my dress was on left late, so the dress would be in within the next few days. Another month went by. I started to panic as my wedding was now only 4 weeks away. I called and emailed several more times. I didn't receive a response. I finally complained and they said my dress "magically arrived" that day. I asked to come in that Sunday, and they said no, their seamstress wouldn't be in. It was the only available weekend I could go before the wedding. I was so angry, I told them not to bother with alterations, I would get them done elsewhere and I went in that Sunday and picked the dress up. The dress did not come with cups sewn in like, it was supposed to, so the seamstress has extra work to do. The day I picked up the dress, the store had been broken into. It was the biggest sign that I should have gone elsewhere. I was scolded by the seamstress for waiting so long to have alterations done, and I was at a point where barely anything could be done due to time constraints. She had heard of several bad experiences from other brides at that salon. I have spoken to 3 other women who went there and had really bad experiences getting their dresses on time as well. Beware ladies.

I had a great experience at Bridal Boys and found my perfect wedding dress! David did a great job helping find a flattering dress! He was honest about what looked good and helped me pick a dress that flattered my figure. He was direct and honest with his opinions, but made me feel beautiful the entire time! I got the most stunningly beautiful dress and can't wait to walk down the isle! Thank you, David, for such an incredible experience! I look forward to working with you more!

My daughter purchased her wedding dress from this vendor. The owner suggested the seamstress replace the zipper since the one in the dress was plastic. I requested the same thing because the zipper looked cheap but the seamstress refused saying it was fine. We were at the reception a short time and the zipper split on the dress and the seam below the zipper also split! It took several of us a long time to attempt to sew the dress back together but it didn't work. We ended up threading her veil down the back of her dress to hide her undergarments!! My daughter missed dinner and spent the night explaining to people why her veil looked like a tail!!! The loop that was suppose to attach the lace overlay to a button was ripped and there was no eye for the "hook and eye." I have contacted the owner several times but he isn't taking any responsibility for it. I have email pictures to the seamstress several times, asked for a response but haven't heard anything from her. This owner is a great salesman but once theirs trouble, you never hear from him. Don't buy your dress from this store unless you bring a backup dress with you to your wedding!!!

***LADIES DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR DRESS UNTIL YOU HAVE COME HERE*** These dresses are amazing but more IMPORTANTLY the consultants care! I did the whirlwind tour in the city (Mira Couture, Jenny Yoo, Ultimate Bride) and tried the ones in the burbs (Volles, House of Brides etc) but no luck. Before I even stepped in the door David, the owner, spent some time getting to know me on the phone, wanting to know the real budget aka (shipping, veil, dress, & alternations) and told me I was able to bring in multiple family members since they only work with one bride at a time. When I came in he had pulled multiple dresses for me and wouldn't you know that the first one he had me try on I bought! I went on to try on 12 more gowns and some were really hard to choose between but David was amazing and truly had it on the first pick! They even had "the one" from the other boutique for almost 1/2 the price since they don't sell retail. I truly don't know what else to say other than you are robbing yourself if you don't come here to find your dream dress. Everything is custom to you so if you don't like the lace or lining on the sample you can change it for no change in price-- and they dont over charge for alternations!-- you can only spend MAX $300. Buying my dress was one of the best experiences of planning the wedding so far and its a big part in thanks to these gentlemen! -xo

I absolutely love Complete Bridal! I bought my wedding dress from this boutique for my wedding which was in June. My dress was GORGEOUS! I could not imagine a more perfect dress. The owner David is very helpful and gives you a genuine and honest opinion of what suits your figure. I definitely will recommend this boutique to all my friends and family. No boutique can beat the gowns Complete Bridal has to offer! They are gorgeous and unique , you will not be disappointed.

I had an amazing experience at Complete Bridal. I walked in thinking I new exactly what I wanted. David had me pick out dresses and then he picked some out based on my body shape. I tried on my dresses, really liked one, and then i tried on one that David pulled. I wasn't expecting to like the dress, it was nothing I had in mind. Boy was I wrong!! The dress David pulled was PERFECT!! He absolutely knows what he is doing. It was a great experience.

My grand daughter just got married and got her dress from complete bridal. David did an amazing job and showed up to the wedding to check and make sure everything was perfect. How many owers of a bridal salon would just show up to a wedding to check on their bride. David you are truly an amazing person.

Dave was great to work with and brought dresses out for me that were very flattering for my body type. My concerns are that their selection was quite limited and he never really asked what style of dress I was looking for. Probably the most fun I had shopping for a dress but it was not a successful appointment. I would recommend for brides with different taste in dresses than myself, but they simply didn't have anything close to what I was looking for.

I was a little nervous at first since I read some of the reviews online and they were not the best, but my overall experience was very good. I started planning in December 2015 and needed my dress by April 2016 and they made it happen. My dress was rushed in from out of the country and instead of having to buy an off the rack dress, I received a brand new one. The staff is very accommodating and the seamstress is great too. Definitely would recommend them!

Had a great experience at Complete Bridal with David. He was very honest and helpful with all of the dresses that I tried on. He also was very informative and educated us on bridal gowns, accessories, alterations, etc. I could not be happier with my dress that I chose and David made our experience so much fun and enjoyable. The appointment was awesome. Dave helped me pick my perfect gown and he just knew that it would look great on me. I had an awesome experience with Complete Bridal. My [now] mother-in-law had a coworker’s daughter who bought her dress here so we tried it out. When we arrived, I told David I was “that” bride that had been in 50 lace dresses and haven’t found what I want. He said I could pick out any of the dresses to try on and he’d pick out 2 dresses for me that he felt worked with my body type but weren’t on my wish list. I tried on all my choices – blah. Finally, I put on the dress he picked out for me – a champagne color satin dress. Walked out to the mirror and everyone’s faces screamed “this is it!” I looked at the dress and thought to myself “wow, he nailed it – this is it!”. He then spent time offering advice on general wedding dress industry tips, how we can change the look of the dress even more with alterations, and took the time to show me pictures online on how the dress photographs. The price of the dress was well under my budget and less than other salons (I called a few other salons to compare prices) and I appreciated him not trying to push me over my limit. He was so kind to my family (mother in law, sister in law, and my grandma) and made sure they were attended to in addition to myself. Everyone got hugs from him when we were leaving. It was a nice intimate experience where we didn’t feel rushed like cattle like at other salons. The dress arrived in the timeframe given – he called me and my mother in law right away to let us know it was in. Alterations went pretty smoothly with Rosa (and great price on alterations as well). We had one mix-up where she double booked alterations appointments and we had to wait 45 minutes to see her when we arrived. A different salon employee didn’t offer any apology for the wait and instead told us “this is just what happens in the bridal industry” which I thought was a little out of line (David was not in that day). The other times I was in for alterations there were no issues - David came in to check out the dress and make sure Rosa understood all the changes and it looked perfect. Rosa was very sweet to work with. I LOVED how the dress turned out. Thanks again!

I originally purchased my wedding gown in March. By August I had not heard any updates. I grew concerned and contacted the salon. I was told that my dress was DISCONTINUED, so it would take longer to come in. I was not offered the opportunity to cancel my order. I STILL DID NOT HAVE MY DRESS BY THE NEXT MARCH A YEAR LATER!! I was still getting the run around from them and told ridiculous excuses such as: there is a strike and customs is not allowing ships to dock... It also took them an un-Godly amount of time to receive my bridesmaid dresses and guess what they were wrong!!!! Since I was getting married in May I was forced to accept the wrong bridesmaid dresses and cancel my wedding gown order that I never received!! I had to take him to court to get a refund!! NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE!!!!

One issue I had when searching for my dress was that ever place I went and every dress I tried I was told look perfect on me. They were obviously trying to make a sale. Then I found Complete Bridal! These guys are amazing to work with. They help put you in an aray of style to fit your body type and they were honest when I asked thier opion. There are obviously plenty of dresses that just didnt do it for me, so it was refreshing to get an honest and unbiased opinion. They have a seamstres as well here and she is wonderful. In the end they set me up with the perfect veil and they made my entire appearence possible. I LOVE my dress and these guys are truley amazing!!

Unfortunately I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for your wedding dress or your bridesmaid. Dave the owner acts like your best friend when you first walk through the door but once you purchase anything he is the last thing you care about. He is EXTREMELY unprofessional and never once remembered who I was even if it was my 10th time having to come in. My bridesmaid dresses were ordered in June and did not come in until 9 days because my wedding (Oct 20th). The only person I liked at the salon was Rosa who does the alterations but unfortunately she steered myself and my bridesmaids in the wrong direction because we all have bussels put on our dresses and three of the seven parts of mine broke off and two of the bridemaids no longer had bussels at all. In the long run I loved how both my dress and my bridemaids dresses turned out I just don't want to recommend anyone to this salon to avoid them the headache and stress.

The day of the wedding the dress looked amazing and so did the bridesmaid dresses. However, the shipping date was messed up and I received my dress two weeks before the wedding. Luckily the seamstress at this bridal shop is amazing. Also, the service of them coming out and steaming all the dresses the day of the wedding was great!

I knew the second i walked in to complete bridal my experience would be amazing and it was. Owner David Gaffke helped me pick out an amazing dress and even came to help me get dressed the day of my wedding. The price for my dress was very affordable. My brides maids dresses were beautiful and so was my moms dress. Rosa, who does all the alterations took the time to make sure everyones dress looked great and fit comfortably! Thankyou to them for making this part of my wedding less stressful!!

I was in the store when I started chatting with a bride. She was telling me that David had ordered her three dresses. She said he wasn't happy with the gowns once they got them in. She was a curvy girl and David just wasn't happy with how they fit once in the store. She began to tell me that he never charge her for the two additional dresses ordered. WOW, a bridal salon ordering two addional dresses just because they wern't happy with the fit. Normally they would just tell you to got to alterations. So I trusted David with my order. Got married in April and just loved everything!

My dress was early and on time! My bridesmaids dresses arrived just days before the wedding and were the WRONG shade of the color. Also, I was told when I ordered my dress that if my girls ordered their dress there that we would get our dresses steamed where we were getting ready on the day of the wedding. I had to fight to get steamed on the day of the wedding. It was forgotten that this had been promised as a selling point. Also, the seamstress was suppose to be there at one time and got lost and showed up over 1 hour late. I was disappointed... Great service for my dress but overall disappoint. What a shame.

this is a small shop but I immediately loved the way the owner pulled dresses for me that he knew would look best for my body type. The seamstress, rosa, was great and my dress turned out beautiful. Dave, the owner, even came to my house the day of my wedding to lace me into the gown. However, I bought my bridesmaids dresses at the shop and found out only a month before the wedding that the order had never been placed. If I had not inquired about the dresses they would never have even known about the order, despite the fact that they were paid for in full. It turned out fine, though, as rosa ended up making the dresses herself. Still, it caused a lot of added stress since their dresses weren't completed until a couple days before the wedding.

I found the dress I had been looking for here....also had been told by other places that what I was looking for would not be possible to make. My only problems were with the alterations and steaming....I had to complain enough to get both done properly which is an annoyance that could have been avoided.

;STAY AWAY. They lie. They let someone else wear my wedding dress outside of the store and then blamed me for getting it dirty. Please do not go here. Avoid the headache and tears. Please learn from my mistake.
