Concept One Photography

Concept One has failed me in every single way on and after our wedding day. You can read my whole review for everything that happened during and after the wedding, but the TLDR version is that we will not be receiving our wedding photobooth photos due to technical failures the day of our wedding, terrible customer service from the attendant and lost equipment. I hired them for a photobooth for my wedding two weeks ago. A few weeks leading up to the event, I let Ryan know what photo strip design I wanted and the backdrop color for the open photobooth. A few days before the wedding, the photobooth attendant called and we even confirmed the design and the text. Day of the wedding, the backdrop and photo strip design was not what we agreed upon. If this was the only thing that has gone wrong, it would have been fine. Not great, but fine. The day of the wedding, the photobooth camera AND printer broke multiple times throughout the night. I didn't make it to the photobooth until the second half of the night, and the camera was being rebooted (for like the 5th time) and the printer was already broken. You would think they would have backup equipment...The attendant was apologetic to me (as the bride), but assured me all our photos would be available online for download. The few days after the wedding, I caught up with friends and families and I heard from numerous people that the photobooth attendant was extremely rude. Fast forward to 2 days after the wedding, I get a call from Sal, the owner of Concept One Photography. He apologized for all the things that went wrong, and also let me know that after my wedding someone broke into the attendant's car and stole all the equipment overnight, which meant that none of my photos would be recovered. Not only did me and my guests not get more than half of the printouts from the wedding, all the photos that the attendant had assured me would be available online, was completely lost. Although Sal has refunded me the full amount of the photobooth and I respect that he owned up to his team's mistake and the series of unfortunate events, I cannot say I recommend them. As professional photographers, I would think it would be standard practice to back up photos. Concept One also provides wedding photography and videography services, and I can't imagine how devastated I would feel if this happened to my actual wedding photos. I understand that technology can be unpredictable and the supposed car breakin was outside fo their control, they couldn't even get the strip design and the backdrop color correct. It has now been over two weeks since this incident, and I still have not heard an update from this team. We are extremely upset we will not see the photobooth photos we took with our guests and it sucked for us to inform our guests who were looking forward to getting their photos that they wouldn't be. Judging from the reviews on here, this has not happened to just me, but to others. Don't make the same mistake I did and ignore what I thought were outliers!

My husband and I used Concept One photo booth services for our recent wedding. The open photo booth allowed for many people to join in the fun, and there were a nice number of props to choose from while taking goofy photos. We liked having a book with the photos and comments provided, as well as having access to the photos digitally. I was in contact with the company several times, but did not hear from our photo booth operator until a couple days before our wedding to set a timeline. In many of the photos, the background of the booth was shifted so that we could see the top of the background as well as the wall behind. Even though the photo booth book is a nice keep-sake, the pages fell out of the book very easily. My husband and I managed to put the book pages back together, however we feel like we need to be very careful while looking through the photos. If you would like a photo booth for a good price, Concept One will provide that to you.

Sal was amazing to work with. I had a bit of a scare but he took care of it right away and reassured me everything was going to be okay. The pictures came out amazing! Joe and his wife were able to capture exactly what we wanted. Jose for the photo booth was also amazing! We had a bilingual event so having them be able to speak English and Spanish was huge and helped run the day smoothly!

My then fiancé (now wife) and I met Sal at a Wedding Expo last June. After speaking with him for a few minutes, we knew Concept One was the company to photograph our special day. During the planning process, Sal was incredibly helpful and answered any and every question we had in a very prompt manner. A couple days before the wedding, we received a phone call from the photographer (Brian) that was to be with us on the day. He was extremely easy to work with and assured us that everything would go smoothly. After our phone call, we felt in good hands and were excited to work with him. When the time came for the wedding, Brian was very prompt (20 minutes early) and we began shortly after he arrived. I must say Brian has an incredible gift in capturing the moment. He worked quickly and efficiently, all the while cracking a few jokes. He truly made our day so special and we cannot wait to see the stunning photos he captured at our wedding. Brian received so many complements from many guests throughout the night. In addition, we booked a Photo Booth as well. Jobin (our attendant) was so great. He was super enthusiastic with every guest and worked hard the entire night as so many guests flooded the booth. Since we were so busy, we weren't able to get to the photo booth. Jobin, at the end of the night, stayed a little later so that my wife and I could get a few shots in the Photo Booth. Again, we received so many compliments from guests and we are so grateful we were able to work with Jobin. Overall, my wife and I would highly recommend Concept One, Brian, and Jobin as they handled everything with extreme professionalism. We were 100% happy and grateful to have had our wedding photographed by Concept One.

I met Sal and Ryan at a Bridal Show a year and a half before my wedding. They were both extremely friendly and their photography package sounded like a good deal. I had already chosen another photography company before this, so I did not choose them for photography. However, I decided to go with their photobooth package. This was a fantastic decision! Ryan was really great at answering all emails and calls right away (which was super convenient while wedding planning). The night of the wedding Luis was the attendant, and he did a great job. He was also super friendly and made sure to explain how to get the photos at the end of the night. The package included unlimited photo strips, photo album, and props. My guests had a blast with the Photo Booth and it is so awesome that I have the album with everyone's photos as a keepsake. I highly recommend Concept Photo!

I found Concept One at a wedding show. They were reasonably priced and offered an incentive of free save the dates. They worked with me via email to make some minor tweaks to their available design. Quality on those was good. My only "complaint" about Concept One was not having a single point of contact. I would send an email to one person but someone else would answer. Not a big deal since I got a timely answer. My photobooth attendant called me a few days before to hammer out logistics. He was familiar with my venue, so that was a big help. Day of the wedding he snuck in and set up during cocktail hour so when the room opened for guests he was already set up and ready. I love that we got a copy of every photo strip. This also served as our guestbook, so it was one less thing to worry about. My only minor "complaint" here is the strips on the inside of the page were put a bit close to the center/spine, so they were hard to see. Not a huge deal though. Overall, I definitely recommend Concept One as a photobooth vendor.

I booked Concept One a year before my wedding while they were doing a great deal and never thought about it again. So I didn't know what to expect when my wedding day came. I was so pleased! Their Photo Booth was AWESOME! It was crowded the entire night! SO many great props and an amazing background! Our attendant, Jose, was so great with our guests. And Sal, was easy and super professional to talk to. I love our scrapbook of everyone pictures! Highly recommend this team for anyone considering a Photo Booth!

I found out about Concept One at a bridal expo! When I met with Ryan, he was willing to work with me and be flexible within our package. I booked them that day. We met with Sal and we really loves that he explained everything to us in full detail about how our day would look. He was realistic about time lines about our day and we really liked how he was truthful and honest. We had Arnold as our lead photographer and we liked him. He did a good mix of candid and posed pictures of us and our whole day. The 2nd photographer we had (sorry, forgot his name) was great as well. Both friendly and captured our day very well. Very pleased with Concept One.

honestly, as a photographer myself, I should have been more picky booking a photographer for the big day. I do not blame Concept One in entirety, I think I'm just dissatisfied with the photographer that I was given. All in all, that reflected on the company. I did not even get to talk to a photographer until 2 days before my wedding and even that was only a phone call. I would have much rather of met my photographer and had a face to face interaction because photos should be based off of personality. Over all, I feel like my photographer felt like my wedding was just another job. I rarely saw excitement from him. First off, he was late and I don't have any getting ready images of myself. Second, when we did have the initial phone call I explained to him that I prefer candid photos but in reality, he was extremely pushy and posed us throughout the entire day and evening. I honestly felt like I was at prom at had to stop, pose and look at the camera. even during the reception when I felt like I was laughing the entire evening, I was told to look at the camera and pose.. why not just take a candid of me and my guests laughing? After the ceremony was done my husband and I were finishing up some photos of him and I with the photographer and my photographer proceed to take my bouquet out of my hands (which was hand made and had a very special pin from my great grandma) and TOSSES it aside onto the ground and says "we're done with the bouquet". I have never felt such a disconnect with a photographer. Lastly, when I got my images back .. there were so many that we're out of focus. I truly feel like this was a "point and shoot" photographer who couldn't even take a second to see if his lens was in focus. I know this is a harsh review but wedding days are once in a lifetime and these images are supposed to capture the moment and make you remember your special day. The only reason this even gets a 3 star review was because the photo booth service was amazing.

Concept one did a great job at our wedding! The photo booth was a hit and any wedding without one is really missing out. Concept one provided many props and unlimited picture strips. We decided to make our guest book the photobooth book, which ended up being really cool! I highly recommend these guys!

They were my photographer and photobooth for my wedding this past weekend 10-14-18, they were very professional and worked hard. The photographer we had, Bryon, is extremely skilled. He'd show me a few of the pictures after taking them and I'd never looked more beautiful. Sal and Ryan answered all the questions we had and they were wonderfully affordable for all they offer. Jose, our photobooth attendant had the best personality, very smooth, funy and personable. Definitely reccomend to all my family and friends getting married!

We first saw Concept One at a wedding expo, and weren’t entirely convinced they were right for us- but after looking at other photographers we realized that they were indeed the right fit for us. We booked them through the expo for the photography and photo booth. After our videographer (from a different company) cancelled on us last minute they were happy to help us out and add videography to our package as well. All three guys contacted us in a timely manor to set up a game plan for the day of- which most definitely set my mind at ease. Our photographer was Bryan. I cannot day enough about him. He was absolutely wonderful. My now husband is very punctual and when he gets nervous he expects everyone to be EXACTLY on time or early. Bryan was there earlier than originally planned and helped put my husbands mind at ease as well as prep him for the day. The group of groomsmen were a jumble of personalities but he kept things moving, lighthearted and on schedule. When we met up later for him to get my pictures and the bridesmaids that light hearted atmosphere came with him. It helped put a lot of nerves at ease. The entire day was perfect and he played a large part in making it that way. He’s got a lot of tricks up his sleeve that made our day just perfect!

Concept One was great from beginning to end! Everyone involved was extremely nice and professional! From the planning to the photo booth and especially our photographer! Our photographer was phenomenal! He was so sweet, professional and was on it! He made sure we got all the shots we wanted and when it came to the photo session he made it so easy for us. There was no need to stress about a thing! We couldn't have asked for more! Can't wait to see the finished products!!

We used concept one for the Photo booth, Video and our wedding pictures. Our photographer was a lot of fun and definitely creative when it came to the pictures. We were a little rushed in the morning so we didn't get many pictures with my family or one on ones with my bridal party. I brought up wanting the get them after the ceremony but the pictures after seemed a bit rushed through, we were told that we would get the pictures at the reception but never did. The photo booth was a lot of fun and the album we got to take away after was great with all the guests writing messages to us. We have not received our video yet, but cannot wait until it comes back. We waited about 6 weeks while our photographs were being edited, however when we got them back, they didn't seem to be edited very much. Some of the pictures were not straight, the lighting seemed to be a little off on some. There were quite a few I chose to edit myself. All in all, if you are on a budget, they offer a great price for all 3 services but you get the quality that you pay for. They won't be perfect but they will definitely be great memories for your day.

Loved our photographer! Wish we had more pictures taken of each side of the family together as one but it was a crazy day!

We used Concept One for our photobooth after receiving a promo code from a friend. Jose showed up on time, was fun and interacted with our of our guests. The day before the wedding Jose offered the "open concept" which overall was a great call with a gold backdrop. It fit more people and made it fun for others to watch. The only downside I would say is that some of the photos are blurry, and the background they used for the printed photos blends in with the gold backdrop and makes some of the photos hard to see. Overall though a great choice for a great price, and I was happy with how things turned out!

Disappointed. A week before our wedding I selected the personalized photostrip to be used for our wedding day photobooth - and even confirmed my selection when my attendant called me a few days before the wedding. Everything went well in regards to the day of, and at the end of the night I was handed our keepsake photo album. I was too busy at the reception to check, and looked through the album the next day and was thoroughly disappointed at how sloppy the photostrip looked. First off, the selected background was not used. Secondly, the personalization at the bottom - was simply Times New Roman font, and they didn't even center the wording. So everything is left-aligned and just looked completely sloppy and unprofessional. I reached out the Ryan a couple days later, and he never responded. No apology even. Another thing - I verified with Ryan before the wedding and was told I would have a champagne sparkly background. Nope - plain black.Very disappointed, and would not use their services in the future. If you are a bride/groom that wants things to look "decent" - then do not use Concept One.

We ran into these guys at a wedding expo. The package included all day photography, a photobooth, an 11x14 photo and a photobook as well as all the rights to the photos and copies of them digitally. It was a good deal. All the photographers we'd seen were incredibly pricey and we were really looking for a budgeted wedding. I think the quality of the photos and service we received was way more than what we paid for. I'll give you this, not knowing who your photographer is until two days before your wedding? Kind of ... anxiety inducing. But Arnold was amazing, and took pictures I am in awe of. I can't give him enough credit for the job he did for us. I have to give a lot of credit to Ryan and Sal too. They deal with my nervous bride tendencies so well. There's clearly something wrong with my email because we never got the email telling us how to pick out our photobook or how to download the pictures- so I reached out and they resent it. Then, we couldn't download all the pictures, and they sent us a flash drive. Again, amazing service all around. We still haven't finished picking out the pictures, but i'll update once the book is back to talk about quality and timeliness.

We used concept one for our Photo Booth need for our wedding, we had the booth from 8pm-12am- the attendant arrive promptly at 7pm to set up. Attendant contacted us a few days before the wedding to review details. I was disappointed in the backdrop color as when I booked they said we could get any color for our backdrop but the Photo Booth attendant was only able to get us gold. We only paid $495 for a 4 hour package so it was worth it, but please be mindful that you may not get the backdrop color you want. Otherwise the company is easy to communicate with and respond very quickly to questions/concerns.

Writing a second review to make sure everyone knows you will not be just another wedding to Concept One. Our wedding photos originally had our name spelled wrong and the pages of our book were sloppy, but they came right to our home and picked it up to fix it. They went above and beyond with a gift card and small refund on top of changing our name in the book. We appreciate that this was something they took seriously for us. Thank you!!!!

We used the photobooth services from Concept One. Our attendant was Monty which was truly great and a pleasure to work with. We had a lot of kids at our wedding so they all had a blast. He also made sure that my husband and I had a change to take a few pictures. My complaints tho are that they had my husband's name wrong on half of the photostrips as well as online where the proofs are. This makes it harder for our guests to find and it is also disappointing to see his name misspelled on the strips. Overall we had a good experience.

My experience with Concept one was impeccable. Sal and his team truly made a horrible wedding nightmare turn into a beautiful memory. At the time I was introduced to Sal, my now husband and I were scammed of our money from a wedding venue ( don't worry, it no longer exists!) . We needed to find new arrangements and crunch our budget. Sal and his team have many different options for many types of budgets. We bought the bundle for video, photo, and photo booth. Everything went as planned. The vendors who worked with me were easy to work with and experienced. I felt that they handled everything professionally and eagerly. My video and photos are amazing! They were reasonable and completely worth the investment. Thank you Concept One for making my dreams come true!

Concept One Photography gave exceptional service and my guests loved the photo booth. I will definitely use them again for any large event I have or birthday parties. From the time I booked them to the day of the wedding, they were very responsive with any questions I had.

We initially booked Concept One for a photobooth only after meeting Ryan at a Wedding Expo. We decided to go with Concept One for the whole Wedding photography package because the photobooth was included with the price of the package, and we are so glad we did! Sal worked with me for months when I had question after question and was always very available and helpful. Peter was our photobooth Attendant and he did a great job of making sure everyone took a picture in the booth and then created an album that night the guests were able to sign with their pictures. Bryon was our Photographer and we can not say enough great things about him. He was fantastic to work with on the day of, and we just received the proofs and are stunned by the quality and quantity of the photos taken. Overall I am extremely happy with everything Concept One has done for us and the value we received from them!

Concept One Photography was a great company to work with for my wedding. I was able to contact them during the wedding preparations to make sure we were all on the same page. I spoke to Ryan and Sal via email and on the phone many times, and they both put me at ease. Also Steve was great working with in preparation of the video. He discussed everything with my husband and I during booking. We did photo, video and photo booth through Concept one and couldn't of been happier. Christina was our photographer and she was amazing. The hosts she took and suggested turned out awesome. She worked so hard to make sure I was able to get the pictures I wanted. Joe was our videographer and he did a great job! He remembered small details that I forgot and reminded us about different things through out the day.He was great! The photo booth attendant was great as well. He came by at the end of the night to make sure my husband and I got to take pictures. I had a great experience with Concept One Photographer and Video. I would suggest looking into this company if you want to receive a great experience with photo and video for your wedding.

Concept One was great to work other frI'm the very beginning. Sal had great ideas from our very first meeting. Our photographer Renata was awesome. She came up with really great photo ideas and always listened to what we wanted. Anthony, who ran the photo booth, was also great to work with and posted our pictures the next day. I highly recommend Concept One!!

I was married in August and couldn't have asked for a better company to work with! Bryan was able to capture my love for my husband and my friendships with my whole wedding party (which was a total of 22 people including the groom and I)! My pictures look like a fairy tale out of a story book! My family keep raving over how great he was! Our photobooth was a total hit and I feel as though everyone had the best time!

I absolutely loved my photographer, Vlad from Concept One. He was so creative with all the shots he took and was so interactive with our flower girl, ring bearer, and large bridal party! He also made sure we got all the shots he wanted, I could not have asked for a better photographer. We also loved the photobooth that came with our package. However, our photo booth worker was not the kindest and did not seem like he wanted to be there most of the night. He still did a great job, but I wish he would have been a little bit more interactive and kind with our guests. I would still recommend this package 100% to anybody who was looking for a good and cost effective wedding photographer/photobooth! Thank you Concept One!

Picking a photographer was extremely important to me for my wedding day! These are the pictures we will have for the rest of our lives to remember one of the best days of our journey together! We found Concept One at a bridal expo and fell in love with their examples and package deal! When meeting with Sal we were excited with the choice we made. But when the wedding day came and our photographer showed up that's when it became the best! He was so well experienced and made sure to remind us which shots we hadn't gotten yet! Our wedding was an attendance of 300 people and when I was so busy he would remind me I haven't had a siblings photo! He made sure we had all the shots we wanted! We had him until 8pm before the dancing and fun started! He ended up staying close to 11pm! We were absolutely amazed with him and we can not wait to see our photos! Highly suggest Concept One! The photo booth is also an absolute must and get to see all the photos of everyone having a blast and letting them leave messages for us to keep! Our photographer made our wedding! We are still getting great reviews about him from our guests as well! So we aren't the only ones who were extremely pleased with him! Thank you so much!!! And we would never be able to thank our photographer enough!

The Open Concept Photobooth was awesome at my wedding& with the customized message it created a wonderful keepsake photo for my guest. The price for the Photobooth was great for the all the service Jose gave us during the night. Thank You Concept One team!!

I was absolutely blown away when received our wedding photos. The photographs were breathtaking - beautiful, bright, and artistic. A good majority of the photos look like they are right out of a magazine. Our photographer, Arnold, was great to work with, incorporated our ideas, and had some great ideas of his own. I tried to have just the "best" photos printed and ended up with over 800 still. Thank you Concept One for allowing me to relive my wedding all over again through beautiful photographs!

We used them for our photobooth and they were a hit! Everyone had a blast and the props were a hoot! Anthony and Angela were so laid back when the guests were goofy. I loved the guest book they put together. We will treasure it!

The photo booth attendant Justin arrived on time, was dressed professional, and did a great job with our photo book that we got to keep. The guests loved this and it was very reasonably priced.

We had Arnold for our photographer... He was absolutely amazing! He was early and got right into photographing us getting ready and final touches. He has great ideas and made taking all the photos fun and not torture. (With little flower girls and such is never easy) Arnold really worked his butt off the entire day and night and everyone noticed how hard he was working. He was extremely friendly and was open to all our ideas. He even had some great ideas himself and made me as the bride feel very comfortable and at ease. We also had the photobooth with Anthony and we was great as well! Had props and was great with all the guests!

Sal was very professional. The entire team was easy to work with and quick to respond. The pictures came out great!

Arnold was our photographer and he was very fun and professional. The pictures came out beautifully! Though it was snowing we had some amazing outdoor pictures. The photo booth was a lot of fun as well and the our guests complimented us on the attendant.

With the reasonable price I was worried that there may be a lack in quality. Not the case! Response time has always been great. We have so many great pictures, and we got them back very quickly! We purchased the Photo booth package and all night people would come up to me and say how nice the gentlemen running the booth were. I would definitely recommend Concept One!

I am one of those people that reads lots and lots of reviews before making a decision. This was no different when picking a photographer. Sal was always quick to answer questions and e-mails (which I sent a lot of!) We also did the package which included the videographer and photo booth. We are still waiting to see our video, but Phil did a great job and had a great personality. Our photo booth was a lot of fun, and you are given a book with all the pictures that night to take home with you. As for the photography.. I had originally wanted Arnold after looking at reviews. We were told a few days before the wedding we were going to have Roberto. Well, Roberto only had one review that I could find, and it wasn't the best. I promised that I would write a review after seeing how amazing he was!! It rained the whole day of the wedding, and Roberto was AMAZING! He thought of many different pictures in the rain and in our venue that turned out beautifully. He was so kind, and willing to do all the shots I wanted to do. He also helped keep everyone on time and helped things run smoothly. We are so impressed with his work! Thanks Concept One for capturing every special moment throughout the day! :) :)

Photographer was Arnold, he was great to work with and captured every moment. Phil was videographer, he was really easy going, fun guy to spend the day with and Peter was my photo booth attendant, he worked very well with the crowd and did a wonderful job on the scrapbook!

I received a package deal from Concept One Photography for photographer and photo booth. Check out my review about photographer to know more. As far as the Photo Booth, it was a great hit and something for my guests to do. I loved it and absolutely loved looking at all the pictures in the photo album after.

We used Concept One for our wedding this past Saturday (3/21/15). Overall, we really enjoyed working with them! During the planning process, we worked with and spoke to Sal. He was very receptive and easy to get along with. We went with a package that included a photo booth; so we had two people to work with on our wedding day. We LOVED our photo booth attendant. There was a last minute change with this, but it was seamless! Just because I was so excited and had so much going on that day, I didn't realize until after the event that our attendant was Ryan, Sal's son! Great guy! He was personable, and made sure we were content with the hours we had set up for the photo booth. He wasn't hovering over us, and gently reminded my husband and I that we needed to get in the booth as well. Nothing but praises for Ryan! Our photographer.... well, he was ok. He was great with contacting us before the event. We even sent him a zip folder of specific pictures we wanted. He accomplished some of these, but not all - there weren't pictures that were appropriate for church! He arrived on time (always a plus!) and took plenty of photos of the girls and me getting ready. That is kind of the end of the good I have to say about him. After our church service, he took SOOOOOO many pictures, even after being told by me and my husband that we were DONE, and kept us there so long, that we missed ALL the other stops we wanted to make for FUN pictures! The stops were all close by, intentionally, so we didn't have to be driving all over creation! After the church, we had to go right to the reception. While at the reception venue, he was not listening to us! I cannot say how many times we told him we were done with being pulled from the party to take more annoying posed pictures! In an email to him I clearly stated we like posed pictures, but this was extreme; and the poses should have been of our guests as well. Whenever we told him we were done, and at times we were terse with him, his response was, "I'm just doing my job." I even replied once, "Yes, and I am paying you. We are done with this." It's almost like he went overboard with pictures at the reception in an attempt to "make up" for what we missed with fun pictures.... except they still weren't fun!!!!! I honestly couldn't have been happier to have his time to end that night! We obviously don't have our pictures yet, it has only been three days since our wedding. His pictures may end up being wonderful, but I will still have the complaint that he doesn't listen! If you use Concept One, I would honestly say you might want to avoid ROBERTO D. The company is GREAT - and I would suggest them to anyone. We just were NOT happy with our day long photographer. I will remark on photos once we see them.

We really enjoyed having Concept One's photo booth at our wedding reception! Such a great way to entertain our guests and also keep memories for years to come. We also really appreciated how incredibly accommodating and flexible Sal was to work with. Definitely highly recommended!

I spent a lot of time emailing Sal back and forth, trying to get answers and cinfirm things. I didn't hear from the actual photographer I would have until 2 days before the wedding. Our photographer had many years of experience and was very patient with the kids in the wedding party. He seemed very tuned into what we wanted. He worked very hard all night and even check with both sets of parents to make sure they had gotten all of the photos they wanted.

Sal, the owner gave me a great deal. The package included the table cards for my assigned seats. Sal was slow to respond and I wasn't overly satisfied with the cards, but they worked just fine. At the end of the day, I don't think that people paid too close of attention to the look of their place card. Arnold did a good job of getting all of the important shots. I was a bit disappointed that there was alot of "background" stuff behind my pictures. I.e. We were taking pictures in the living room and I asked if I should move the space heater. He said it wouldnt' be in the pictures and it turns out that they are indeed in the lower corner of the picture. Minor details. Overall, I was pleased with the picturse despite these background additions.
