I rarely leave negative reviews, but after spending a substantial amount of money on my daughter's wedding and receiving no meaningful acknowledgment of multiple service failures, ...I feel compelled to share our experience.
To begin with the positives, the food itself was excellent. Many guests complimented the quality and flavor of the meal. Unfortunately, the execution of the reception fell far below expectations.
The most significant issue was that the seating chart we carefully planned and submitted was not followed. Immediate family members, including the groom's parents and the bride's grandparents, were moved from their assigned locations at the opposite side of the room from the head table. Bridal party tables that were intentionally grouped together were scattered throughout the room. Most notably, the Mother and Father of the Bride did not even have seats at the table where they were supposed to be seated.
There were also numerous problems with food service. Guests repeatedly reported that plates were removed while food remained on them (a lot of the times untouched) and before they had finished eating. Several guests stepped away briefly and returned to find their meals gone. The Maid of Honor's untouched dinner was removed while she was giving her speech. As a result, multiple guests left the reception hungry.
One guest who had selected fish in advance was told there was no fish remaining. Because that guest does not eat meat, they were left without an entrée altogether.
We also repeatedly requested the removal of an empty table that blocked access to our photo zone booth, an important vendor service that we had paid for a significant amount of money. Despite multiple requests from both family members and our decorator, the table remained in place throughout the evening.
After the wedding, I contacted management to share these concerns. Rather than acknowledging the issues, the response largely shifted responsibility to the couple, guests, vendors, and the MC. My daughter then provided detailed documentation showing that the seating arrangements submitted to the venue had not been followed and addressed the other concerns point by point. Since then, neither management nor ownership has responded.
What is most disappointing is not that mistakes occurred, but the complete lack of accountability afterward. Weddings are once-in-a-lifetime events. When problems arise, couples deserve honesty, professionalism, and a sincere effort to address legitimate concerns.
The food was good, but based on our experience, I cannot recommend this venue without reservation.
