The First Look
Copper Leaf Gardens and Event Center is a special event venue located in Broomfield, Colorado. Although it is located close to Denver and other major cities, the expansive grounds provide the feeling of peace and isolation. This venue features views of the Rocky Mountains, as well as rolling green hills and towering evergreen trees. It is available for weddings year round and has indoor and outdoor spaces available to accommodate small or large wedding parties.
The Lounge. The lounge is a casual indoor space that is ideal for hosting an informal cocktail hour or simply greeting guests before the wedding begins. It features comfortable, casual seating and direct access to a full bar. This space is large enough for around 100 guests and has large windows that look out on the surrounding gardens.
The Gazebo. The gazebo is the most popular spot for outdoor ceremonies. The gazebo itself is quite large and features decorative white lattices. It is surrounded by manicured lawns and colorful gardens. Many couples choose to exchange vows under the shade of the gazebo, with their wedding party arranged around them. This large open space can comfortably seat up to 350 guests.
The Event Space. The event space at Copper Leaf Gardens and Event Center is a versatile, customizable room. It can accommodate between 250 and 350 guests, depending on how the room is set up. Those with smaller wedding parties can choose to use only a section of the space and create a more intimate setting. With high ceilings and stone accent walls, this space is both modern and rustic. The neutral color scheme makes it easy for couples to create a personalized look when providing their own decorations.
What You Should Know
This venue does not provide catering or beverage services. However, they have a list of approved vendors that couples can choose from. If couples want to hire a licensed professional who is not on this pre-approved list, they must have it approved by the venue at least two weeks before their event.
Copper Leaf Gardens and Event Center offers a number of different wedding packages. These packages vary in price and some are all-inclusive while others are ideal for couples who want to design their own wedding and customize the experience. These packages all include four hours of event time, not including setup or cleanup. Additional event time can be arranged for an added fee.
This venue provides guest tables and chairs and has a choice of rectangular or circular tables. They also provide white folding chairs for the ceremony. White or black table linens are also provided, along with basic table settings that include flatware and stemware.

My daughter’s wedding and reception was held at the Copper Leaf Gardens and Event Center in August, 2016. We decided on this venue because it has lovely a green area outside, lots of parking, and a very nice indoor space for the reception. The venue is beautiful, with a gazebo outside that was the perfect outdoor setting for the ceremony. Vipul and Madhoo Seth were wonderful to work with! They quickly responded to all of our questions and concerns. Although Madoo has a list of vendors that they typically work with/recommend we were able to bring in an outside photographer and DJ with zero complaint. The servers for the day also helped a family friend tier the small cake we brought in for the cutting. As a first time mother of the bride, I must say that I wish I had asked about adding more time to use for setting up, as well as whether we could have set up our centerpieces the evening before. All of our decorations/centerpieces were DIY projects that we brought to the venue ourselves, and I was still setting things up as guests started to arrive. (My advice for future DIY brides/families is to make sure there is PLENTY of time to set things up, even if it means purchasing an extra half hour/hour of time. The money is well worth it.) The servers that the venue hired for the day were polite, friendly, very helpful and jumped in to help us set up center pieces as our set up time began to dwindle. Additionally, my daughter and new son-in-law appreciated that the servers made a special trip outside to bring the wedding party hors d’oeuvres while they were taking pictures. The day-of coordinator, Marci, did a fantastic job making sure things ran smoothly and according to plan. She was always cool and collected, which did a lot to keep my daughter at ease during her special day. I have no idea if it is normal for venues to be this helpful, but we were very impressed. This was the first time planning or attending a wedding in the Denver area and I would definitely choose Copper Leaf again.

Madhoo Seth is the President and Executive Chef of The Gourmet Kitchen Catering. Ms Seth created award-winning The Gourmet Kitchen in 2002 because she loves good food and enjoys working with people. She had always wanted to own an event center and when opportunity knocked in September 2014, she did not hesitate. She brings to Copper Leaf an extensive experience from catering 100's of weddings and 1000's of events. This enables Copper Leaf to execute our events smoothly and professionally thus providing peace of mind to our clients.
