rall amazing.  The food is delicious, served hot, and the team works with you to find the best meals and cocktails that fit you and really personalize your wedding.  No request is too crazy or too odd, they even made us delish arepas as appetizers as a nod to my fam background!  Their prices are extremely fair and, although I know they had a very busy year, they always treated us a top priority.    Emelie is also a delight to work with, she was super calm, always had answers and suggestions at the ready.  She was the MVP at the wedding, truly going above and beyond with her help, not just with food but with other ideas or things she had seen at other weddings that would work well at ours.  She is so fun to chat with and if I ever need an event catered, I am absolutely hiring them again.

We can’t speak highly enough of how kind and accommodating they were to us during COVID. Not only did they postpone with us twice, they made sure the linens we selected back in 2020 were ready to go two and half years later. When we decided to still legally tie the knot in 2020 anyway, we worked with them to put together a fabulous boxed dinner for our immediate family. They surprised us with a little monogrammed sticker of our names on each box, which was the sweetest touch. When they pivoted during COVID to offer takeout family meals, we ordered from them a few times and enjoyed everything so much, we constantly questioned whether we should tweak our wedding menu to include the latest dish we’d just tried. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Corcoran for any event that requires catering, they’re fantastic!

The exceeded my expectations in all three categories. The food was simply outstanding - as good as you would expect in any top tier restaurant. Their bartenders, alcohol selection, and bar service was excellent and much easier that contracting from a liquor provider. I was able to select and specify exactly which wines etc. we wanted for the event. The rental equipment was all perfect, and I appreciated the fact that there was not an upcharge for things like selecting gold flatware instead of silver. They were literally able to provide everything that was needed except our dance floor, and the selections they offered were fantastic. This was important since our venue did not provide anything other than the venue itself. But what was most exceptional was our primary contact at Corcoran - Emelie. Together we face MANY hurdles along the way and Emelie always focused on solving the problems, and doing so with grace and professionalism. I could not have done it without her! I recommend Corcoran Caterers without reservation and thank them for all they did to my daughter's wedding the wedding of her dreams.

We received so many compliments on how well-paced the evening was, and much of that was due to Laura’s advise and expertise in event planning. Our guests raved about the food (especially the hors d’oeuvres!) and our custom cocktails. And the bartenders working our event were so charming and fun to talk with! Also, perhaps my favorite part of working with Corcoran is that they sent us home with leftovers after our tasting and reception. As someone who loves food (and hates food waste) this meant a lot to me. I am so glad that we worked with Corcoran for our wedding!

Martha was there every step of the way to provide us with guidance and share her expertise. She understood exactly what we wanted for our wedding and made our vision come to life. She even gave us some great hors d'oeuvre recommendations – the butternut squash soup was to die for! On the day of the wedding, the food was better than we ever expected, with most of our guests going back for seconds. All of our guests have been raving about how delicious the food was and I must say, the risotto bar was a huge hit! We had a very complicated signature drink and Martha worked tirelessly to make sure it was executed perfectly (I mean, there was celery juice and *** as part of the drink). I can’t say enough how happy we are that we choose Corcoran Caterers as our wedding day caterer! We highly recommend them!

just perfection. We were one of the many impacted by COVID, and after 18months and four reschedules, we were sure we'd have put our vendors through too much change! But not Laura - she didn't miss a beat. She remembered everything we wanted down to the smallest detail. She made our wedding ... truly. The company itself was so professional, well run, and just a true pleasure. They have incredible staff who were so kind and so amazing to our guests. And they made sure to find ways for us to remember the night too - had food in our little room after the ceremony for us to enjoy, had champagne there for us to toast, and sent us home with food as well. Truly, I recommend Corcoran OVER AND OOVVEERRRR!! If we ever do another big event, they will absolutely be the only caterer we talk to!! Thank you Laura - you truly made our night perfection!!!

We had a few last minute hiccups with our venue, but Emelie and the Corcoran team navigated the situation with grace and professionalism making it one less thing that my husband and I had to stress over leading up to our big day. her caterer did, to discuss our menu vision. We didn't come to her with much. We wanted, "comfort food but not because it's summer and we want fresh food." Yeah, that was helpful. Somehow Laura managed to wade through our lack of clarity to provide us with a menu that instantly appealed to us. Potato chip crusted chicken? Beef tenderloin with a red wine reduction or chimichurri? Mashed potato bar? Fresh green beans? Heirloom tomato station? Summer corn and avocado salad? Yes, please! Once we settled on the menu Laura continued to be fantastic to work with. My husband and I wanted lots of colors (OK, mostly me) and Laura didn't even bat an eye. We were worried that some of our vendors would try to push us the more traditional route, but Laura helped to make sure that our vision came true. We wanted lime green napkins to go with our other rainbow napkins and Laura had them special ordered for us so that they'd match the material of our other napkins. On the actual day of the wedding, our food was the talk of the night. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing all of the food was. They kept telling us that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Finally, the entire waitstaff at Corcoran was fantastic. They were helpful and friendly. Some of our guests spilled drinks and the mess was cleaned up within seconds. We couldn't recommend Corcoran Caterers and Lauran Hennigan more.

a very thorough walk through at the actual venue with them that made us feel calm and confident going into our wedding weekend. Everything from the floor plan to the food selection to the service staff was perfection! We can't thank them enough for all their wonderful work and highly recommend to any couples in the DC metro area!

proposal customized to our expectations, which was very helpful in letting us understand and compare different caterers when were were deciding who to go with. The tasting itself was also very useful. Corcoran provides a tasting before executing a contract, and the tasting itself focused on the food we had preliminarily decided on (neither of which were true for all of the caterers we considered). The food itself was delicious, but more than that, we were able to have a good conversation about all aspects of the day - from the delivery timing constraints, to hora chairs, to whether we would be able have little glasses for a traditional toast. We left the tasting confident that not only would the food be excellent, but that Corcoran would be able to execute on the complicated logistics that is a wedding. During the months leading up to the wedding, Laura was always responsive, and very diplomatic in steering us in the right direction (that chivari chairs didn’t make for good hora chairs, so we should get other chairs), away from the wrong direction (that chimichurri sauce was a poor choice for passed hors d'oeuvres), and was fantastic to work with on allergy issues, dietary restrictions, etc. And for the day of the wedding, everything was amazing! The food was delicious - we thought so at the time, our guests thought so, too, and we thought so again two days later when we had leftovers. Corcoran did a great job setting up the room to look beautiful, and most importantly, their staff was amazing! The service was great - attentive without being obsequious, and they were so efficient in serving everyone promptly (which let us go around the tables and get the dancing going on schedule!) From our perspective, everything worked so well! When we got back to our hotel room, they had even left us extra servings of food and dessert, which was a special extra touch. We would absolutely go with Corcoran again, and are so glad that we went with them!

During the wedding, they pivoted during an unexpected rain storm and instead of going with plan A, B or C, we came up with a new plan and they executed it flawlessly. The food was absolutely delicious from the appetizers (spring rolls, bacon wrapped dates, and chicken and waffle bites), to the tacos and the CAKE. Best wedding cake ever. We got so many compliments from our guests on all the food. The tasting session was also very helpful and delicious. Sue was wonderful to work with overall. She is very kind and patient, she was happy to explain the ins and outs of planning to me, and she was very flexible with making changes to our proposal. She also made us feel totally taken care of on our wedding day. She made it a point to learn what was important to us and to make it happen! There were some minor communication issues along the way but that's part of the busy wedding season. I would definitely recommend Corcoran!

od at our wedding. In particular, everybody LOVED the mini grilled cheese/ soup passed appetizer. However, the quality of service was even more outstanding than the food. All night long, the bartenders and catering staff were so pleasant and attentive - not only to my husband and me, but to all the guests. Water and wine were flowing through dinner and the line at the bar was never more than a person or two deep. Yet, the thing that stood out the most to me was the support we got from the catering coordinator, Sue, in the months leading up to our wedding. Sue was the kindest, most knowledgeable professional I've ever worked with and she made sure our wedding went off without a hitch. She had only catered at our venue once before but she worked with me and the venue to get all the information she needed. When the forecast threatened a hurricane on our wedding day, Sue had lots of ideas about how we could make an indoor layout work most effectively and offered lots of advice that helped calm us down in face of the forecast. Sue was so responsive and helpful any time we had questions (which was often) - I don't know what we would have done without her (and I honestly miss working with her now that the wedding is over)! We had the perfect wedding day and I feel like we largely owe that to Sue and the excellent team at Corcoran.

All the food was delicious, and the guests were raving about it all night. The serving staff were attentive and professional, and so kind.
