endor out of the blue told us we needed to not have sternos under the tent or we needed to pay $600 for a larger more expensive tent. Corinne was fantastic in every aspect. We had a couple of communication hiccups the day before the wedding which was incredibly stressful, but Corinne truly made up for it on the day of the wedding. Everything was beautiful and the food was the best I've ever had at a wedding (and it was MY wedding so you know I was beyond critical!!). The cedar plank salmon in a creamy dill sauce was the biggest hit but truly, every single appetizer and entree and dessert was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We chose to do a small cutting cake a tier of cupcakes. They were presented beautifully. Corinne's was efficient, flexible, and made us feel like we were their most important clients. I will use Corinne's for any future event I have, big or small, and am handing out a business card to ANYONE who is looking for a caterer that I meet.

The tables looked beautiful, the staff looked great and they took charge in a very unobtrusive way, making sure everyone had a drink. Everyone was calm and professional throughout and it made all the difference. AND THE FOOD. It was terrific. Almost every guest said something about how good the food was. The clean-up was also professional and thorough. We left our mothers in charge and they said that they did a quick and complete job. All in all, just terrific through the whole experience from start to finish and anyone who needs a wedding catered (especially on Fire Island) would be lucky to have them. Note: They also did our wedding cake, which was great. Honestly, we didn't even look at pictures or anything before hand, just said "square, kind of simple, not too busy" and picked the flavors, and it was fantastic.

d, and the food was good. So their two stars are strictly for execution. Here are some important things to understand if you want to use this caterer: 1. Their menu prices that they list on the website are not accurate, and are actually all about 10-30% higher than what's listed. So when I went to budget for my event, it all looked so reasonable! Then the actual order came through and everything was a higher price. I asked the sales manager to honor the prices on the website and she said no way... their prices are all "subject to change". 2. They are totally inflexible with their prices. Now look, I get that everyone has to make a living. But $5 per person for iced tea and lemonade? Preposterous. I asked for several over-inflated prices to be tapped down a bit and the answer was always NO. This is quite unusual as most caterers will meet in the middle on some items in order to make the client happy. 3. Corinne has a snotty attitude and left me feeling sorry that I gave her any revenue. She gave me incorrect information about payment, and then reneged on what she initially told me regarding payment terms. She is the owner! She is in charge, yet refused to honor her word. It was a luncheon event, and we didn't have anything too crazy... a poached salmon, some very unmemorable sandwiches, some pasta salads, a small fruit and crudite display, and some light passed hors d'oeuvres, and it was like $40 a head. This did not include beverages OR dessert. Meh. As I mentioned, the on-site servers were fantastic and the food tasted OK. The presentation was lacking. No sign cards for sandwiches or dishes so guests had no idea what they were eating. And the bread on the sandwiches was like the kind you buy in the grocery store.... no bakery bread here. Other caterers do much better with these small details that have a big impact. They were efficient with set up and clean up, though.
