I highly recommend Josie and Kelley from Cosmo Events! They really worked to understand my vision and created a design approach that truly brought it to life. They recommended the best vendors and made budget tracking and decision making easy. They thought about both the high-level elements as well as all of the details - bringing up important pieces that I had never even considered. Cosmo made the planning process fun, and I knew that nothing would fall through the cracks. This was especially evident on the wedding weekend itself. I was truly able to enjoy my wedding (as were my parents) knowing that Josie and Kelley were on top of everything to make it a beautiful and smooth event.
Josie did a great job assisting us in planning our dream wedding! She was great when it came to recommending other vendors to work with as well as making sure everything went according to plan the day of! Her templates were also very valuable which took a lot of extra work off our plate. All of our visions became a reality with her guidance. Thanks Josie for everything!
If you are looking for the most incredible, detail-oriented, organized, and supportive wedding planning and coordination company- this is it! Josie, Elizabeth, Reyna and their team are the best in the industry. I am a very detail oriented person and I could not have planned my wedding without Cosmo! The ongoing communication with my vendors, down to the minute comprehensive timeline, and creative touch on the set up and take down of various decor/items was more than I expected. I was blown away! Cosmopolitan Events is a must for your wedding or special event!
Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect! The rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, hotel block, transportation, ceremony, reception, and all of the vendors we were introduced to through Cosmo were better than I could have imagined. Josie and Anna seamlessly planned our wedding weekend, kept us organized, and always gave us great advice from the program wording to the many vendors we could use. I cannot imagine our wedding weekend without these two and their extended Cosmo crew! They have a gift for making you feel comfortable, composed and prepared for the biggest moment of your life! My husband, parents, in laws, and many of our guests were astonished with all of the details and how smoothly the entire weekend ran. I cannot say enough positive things about Josie and Anna. You are in the best hands with Cosmo!
Where do I start? I would recommend the ladies at Cosmo to ANY bride looking for planning and assistance. They took soooo much stress off of me, my mom, and my mother in law during the planning process, especially the month and week of the wedding. Anna was my main girl and she was amazing. Helped us out with ANYTHING we asked of her and they never seemed annoyed with us at any time. Just having the team with us the day of was so amazingly helpful, I do not even want to imagine doing the wedding planning and wedding weekend without their help. I don't think there was any situation where we had to ask them to do anything twice or have to ask them a question twice. They had full day of itineraries for the wedding party so they knew where to be at all times. I can't praise them enough. THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR LIVES EASY DURING THE STRESSFUL TIMES!!!!!!
We chose to work with Cosmopolitan Events early in the planning process & it was a great decision. Although we handled many of the details ourselves, Cosmo was invaluable in areas such as vendor selection, scheduling and "putting it all together". I'll never forget the 12-page planning document Kathleen produced well over a year ahead of the date. It was spot-on - we changed very little, other than filling in details. They clearly know what they're doing. Here are excerpts from a note that the bride sent to Josie: "I can't even begin to tell you how amazing it was to have you and your team there on Saturday. You all were so calm, collected, on top of EVERYTHING and made our day perfect. We seriously couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for your care, kindness, attention to detail, and overall awesomeness. You kept me calm, listened to me and acted like all my requests were valid (even though I feel that maybe at times they weren't!), and you and your team were always smiling! I'm going to tell everyone that is getting married or planning an event that they need to call you."
Cosmo Events did a wonderful job planning our wedding. Josie, Sam and Anna were very professional, responded to emails, phone calls and texts promptly and always had a soultion. This team kept me organized and made sure my dream wedding became a reality. I was blown away how seamlessly the wedding day went! Thank you, Cosmo!
Cosmo events was amazing!! Kathleen was a life saver with planning our wedding. I live out of town and she made navigating through all of the to-dos and decision making so easy even though I wasn't there in person. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was totally perfect. I can't recommend her enough!!!
Choosing Cosmopolitan Events was the best decision I made! From the very beginning, I knew Kathleen and the Cosmo team were going to be a perfect fit. I spent the first half of my engagement living in a different state, but Kathleen made it so easy and stress-free! She took my ideas and vision and turned them into a reality. Kathleen and her team took care of everything...from helping me choose the best vendors to recommending the best bridal boutiques to even letting me borrow her own Christmas tree to complete the guest favor decor! Just a few months into our working relationship, Kathleen could guess which options I would choose because she knew me and my style that well. My wedding was the best day of my life, and I owe so much credit to Kathleen and the entire Cosmo Team! I highly recommend Cosmopolitan Events to all future brides looking to create their dream wedding!
I kept my planning very organized through the year and a half that we were engaged but I knew that I didn't want to be in charge at my own wedding. The Cosmo teams stepped in for Month Of Planning and and saved me from going insane. I couldn't have had a more perfect day if is weren't for Elizabeth and her team!
Our daughter was married August 2, 2014. The wedding ceremony and reception were lovely! Our friends and family have not stopped talking about what a perfect wedding it was and how much fun they had.
We contracted Cosmopolitan Events in November of 2013. They had several package options from which to choose. We chose a package where they helped us set our budget. Then they sent us lists of venues, caterers, bands etc. that worked within our budget and we did the initial legwork and vendor selection.
Our daughter had a unique vision of how she wanted the reception to look and feel. Cosmopolitan Events was able lead us to the perfect caterer, florist and all of the other vendors to pull it all together! They were awesome - ALWAYS helpful in answering our many questions. We had several planning sessions with them over the course of the 9 months of planning. A month out from the wedding, Cosmopolitan Events took over totally and became the sole contact for the vendors and day of schedule for us. Our family was able to enjoy all of the pre-wedding festivities and most importantly, we were able to enjoy the day of the wedding because we knew that Cosmopolitan Events had everything under control. When we walked into the reception the space looked absolutely fabulous.

Josie and her team were remarkable!! As an out of town bride it was hard for me to try to plan my wedding without being able to actually see or visit with any vendors. Josie and her team made it so easy! My wedding turned out just as I had envisioned it to be! The day ran so smoothly and I never had to worry about a thing!! I highly recommend Cosmo Events to any future brides looking for someone to make your life easier!
Cosmo Events was phenomenal start to finish. I have a very busy schedule and they did all the research for me, so all I had to do was look and choose. I had no idea how many decisions have to be made for a wedding, and eventually it wore on me. Chasley knew what I was looking for, and what kind of wedding I wanted so eventually it got to the point where I'd say "You just decide for me." My wedding was PERFECTION. She also made a few phone calls to the church, and musicians that were a bit awkward or where I was kind of asking a lot of them, so I could avoid those situations. At one point during planning I had misplaced my wedding shoes. I checked my office, car, parents' houses, my house, called everyone I may have interacted with, the car wash place... finally I called Chasley and she said "Didn't you return those because you needed a bigger size?" I had lost it so much I forgot, but thank goodness she knew what was going on. One other anecdote to show just how dedicated this team of professionals is... during picture taking after my ceremony, my contact lense became cloudy and I couldn't see out of it. One of the women went to the store and bought me contact solution to wash it. When that didn't work, they met me at our next photo stop to get my house key, drove from the Arch out to Kirkwood to get a new set of contacts, and met me at the reception site. It saved the day! Seriously, it was terrible not being able to see on my wedding day. Thank goodness for Cosmo being willing to bend over backwards to make my day so memorable. You will not be disappointed in the service.
I was very happy to have my mom and Chasley from Cosmopolitan Events assist me in planning my wedding. From the moment we met Chasley, we knew we were in good hands! Although we were doing some of the wedding planning on our own, she was extremely organized, efficient, and aware of our needs. Chasley did a wonderful job connecting us to some of the companies and people that were a perfect fit for our Western, Colorado-themed wedding. In addition, we were pleased that she knew most of the vendors that we had already selected, based on a friendship, or because we had previously worked with them. Chasley did a great job at establishing timelines and dates for our meetings, appointments, and schedules for our wedding weekend. We appreciate Chasley’s ability to stay on top of all the details during the last month before the wedding, when everything comes together. We were very grateful to have Chasley and her energetic staff helping us to coordinate the many aspects of our very busy wedding weekend and the wedding day itself. This enabled us to be able to really enjoy the day, after working so hard planning for the big event. Thanks again so much to everyone at Cosmopolitan Events! My wedding was truly the most memorable and the happiest day of my life.
I worked closely with Elizabeth at Cosmo for my wedding. She was extremely helpful in getting me the wedding of my dreams! Even when one of our vendors wasn't very prompt or on time, she was always there to make sure everything was in order.
Cosmo even took care of some dirty linens on the day before my wedding that a vendor had shipped in. I was very impressed by their ability to help me step by step the days before and the day of my wedding!
I paid for the month out service with Cosmo and I am so glad I did!!
My fiance' and I selected the Magic House as our reception venue. We knew that we would need a coordinator to set up at the reception site and deal with day of wedding logistics. My aunt was using Cosmopolitan's services for my cousin's wedding so I gave them a try.
We had already done most of the planning for our wedding by the time I met with Cosmopolitan and chose the weekend service. I never felt like this made us less of a priority. Working with a coordinator also gave me the structure that I needed to get tasks checked off of my list. Our coordinator, Elizabeth, needed everything for the wedding a week before the event. Setting a schedule for myself and my fiance' made the week before the wedding very enjoyable.
I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of my wedding. Elizabeth and her staff took care of everything. We even had a random "guest" who showed up at our reception. Elizabeth took care of the situation and other than consulting with me about the issue I never had to be bothered about it. I was able to enjoy my guests and my wedding.
Two weeks after my wedding my cousin was married. I had a wonderful conversation with Josie at the reception. When I think of everything that Cosmopolitan did for our wedding I consider their services to be a great value.
Planning a wedding of 300+ guests in just a few months sounds like most brides worst night mare, but because I used Cosmopolitan Events, it was a fun and stress free experience. I never had to worry about things getting done because they were incredibly responsible and would follow through and up with everything.
A good friend of mine recommended Cosmopolitan Events after using them for her wedding and I am so glad I had that suggestion. Having Cosmo at the backbone of my wedding was just that -- it literally held everything together. With just under four months for the planning (we had quite the shorter end of an engagement!), Cosmo didn't ever bat an eye about the slim time frame. In fact, they pulled off my ultimate dream wedding flawlessly.
The very first time I met with Josie, the wedding planner we worked with, she already had a binder just for my wedding with my name on the outside cover. From that moment, I was so impressed with her organization and she proved that quality all the way through the wedding. She kept in constant communication and was very easily accessible. She would respond to a phone call, text, or email quite promptly, no matter the day or time. Cosmo was very professional in dealing with vendors, and had great report with all of the vendors we used. My sister was thrilled to also use Cosmo for her wedding after mine in the Spring and it was a great experience round 2.
My favorite thing they did over the wedding weekend was provide a cute one sided program for the wedding party with minute by minute detail of the wedding day. I knew that with my wedding in Cosmo's hands, there was not a stress in the world, and I could actually enjoy my engagement time and have the best day of my life marrying the love of my life!
We were incredibly impressed with Josie and the whole Cosmopolitan Events team throughout the entire wedding planning process. Starting out, we knew that having a wedding planner would be a huge help but we were constantly surprised at how organized and on top of it they were when it came to every last detail. In the weeks leading up the wedding we received countless comments on how unusually relaxed we were from our family & friends, which we completely attribute to Cosmo. This made all the difference in being able to enjoy our day to the fullest.
The team was also really helpful at the beginning of the planning with getting us started with our colors & theme (we were clueless!) & always had tons of great vendor recommendations. They even put together many of the contracts for us so we didn’t have to worry about keeping up with it all—which ended up being an immense timesaver. What I most loved about working with Cosmo was how prompt they were in answering my questions & how available they were. I know they plan countless weddings, but they somehow managed to keep our wedding details straight and I can’t even think of one task that they didn’t follow through with perfection. At every meeting, they had complete knowledge of exactly what we were planning on incorporating in our wedding and went out of their way in arranging our day-of schedule to make it all work. Over time I grew to trust their judgment and felt completely comfortable having them in charge of our set up and any day-of decisions (which is hard even for the most laid back brides!). On the day of the wedding, the team ensured we were on time and were cheering us along the whole way, and had their awesome emergency duffel bag ready for anything that may possibly go wrong.
In the end, it was just such a pleasure to work with people who are not only incredibly genuine and easy to connect with, but also professional with the ability and desire to get the job done. Their efficiency kept me sane throughout this crazy adventure and I would absolutely choose them if we were doing it all over again!
My husband and I were married on 9/22/12 at the Magic House in Kirkwood. We knew a non-traditional venue was exactly what we wanted, but it also presented a small challenge. They are open until 5pm on Saturday nights and we wanted our wedding and following reception to start at 6:30pm. They only way we could pull off the wedding we wanted was to hire a planner. Working with Josie at Cosmopolitan Events was wonderful. Not only did she eliminate the stress of worrying if everything would be right the day of, but she also had many great ideas we incorporated into our big day. She recommended a popcorn bar as a perfect cocktail hour snack and also helped us identify some very high quality vendors (from flowers, to transportation, to linens). I highly recommend working with Cosmopolitan Events. You won't regret it!
In the quest to plan a wedding long distance, we determined that our best bet would be to find a wedding coordinator. I read in the local bridal magazines and publications about companies providing coordinator services, and one name that seemed to be prominent was Cosmopolitan Events. I had a recommendation of Josie Littlepage from a close friend who happens to be friends with a prominent bridal vendor in St. Louis. During our first meeting, I immediately felt comfortable with Josie's knowledge and appreciated her candor on how to make this wedding, still on the drawing board, work. We chose Cosmopolitan and from there, we were in good hands.
We felt under a lot of pressure to find the best vendors and venues for the wedding - and quite frankly, we were getting a late start. Josie's extensive knowledge and experience helped us to make some quick decisions. For each decision, she offered several options, but never pressured us to choose one over another. We had the luxury of knowing what had and had not worked for other weddings. What we paid Cosmopolitan was balanced by not making poor decisions that would have cost us more in the long run.
Josie kept us on track and provided the periodical reminders we needed to make decisions and get things accomplished. I guess the hardest part was making decisions and not second guessing the choice. Cosmopolitan is an amazing company with women who can keep you focused and organized. I felt as though nothing fell through the cracks.
To say there were no problems would be wrong, but there were always resources to take a possible difficulty and make things work for all parties concerned. We chose the option for constant support from Cosmopolitan.
The day of the wedding was so much fun. I am happy that our family chose Cosmopolitan be in charge of every detail. The wedding goes by in the blink of an eye, and I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute.
Josie Littlepage and Cosmopolitan Events literally MADE my wedding. I would not have been able to do it without Josie and her entire staff. They perfected and organized the entire thing, from my planning and concerns the year leading up to the wedding, to the minute by minute details on the day of the wedding. Any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire process, they took care of. I truly felt at ease throughout the entire year of engagement because I knew they had it all under control. They respond to emails promptly with care and consideration and always make you feel like they care and are going to make your wedding the perfect day for you. They not only took care of all of the behind the scenes stuff, but they also were a great support system throughout the entire time. They offered great advice, were a quick phone call away whenever I needed them, and always reassured me that everything would be perfect and great. Josie's sweet demeanor and positive personality makes the whole staff soooo easy to work with, and she definitely eased a lot of the wedding stress for myself. She also was a great mediator for the mother/daughter wedding dynamic when needed at times :)! Knowing I had Josie by my side throughout the whole engagement and the day of the wedding put every worry I had to rest...they literally were SO AMAZING!! The day after my wedding, I truly MISSED talking to Josie and her staff, because I loved them all so much! I want to get married every year just so I can work with these amazing people more often. My sister got married 5 months before I did, and she used Cosmopolitan Events, also. We truly had the best experience with them. Worth every single penny!!!!!!!
I was very pleased with their services the day of the wedding, as they paid very close attention to all details. However, we were not impressed with the service and attention to our event prior to the wedding. We never felt like a priority until the week before the wedding.
They were amazing!!! So helpful and organized and soooo on top of it!
They were WONDERFUL for the week of and day of the wedding...they had an entire crew there that did all of the work and made it so easy for me. However, the months leading up to the wedding, their cost per hour is very high and I feel like they don't get a lot done but still charge a lot for it. Best bet...just hire them for the two weeks leading up to the wedding and do all of the other stuff yourself...
