George and team were absolutely amazing with helping us plan our wedding. The venue is stunning, food is delicious, and all of the staff members are attentive and knowledgeable. George answered all of our questions whenever they came up, had the best suggestions, and made sure our room was set up to look beautiful. He also walked us through the entire process from start to finish. The staff the day of the wedding was amazing, always making sure everything was brought out on time, cleaned up quickly, and were very friendly with the guests. When cleaning up after the event, everyone helped where they could and was very helpful with making sure all belongings were returned and packed. Thank you all for an amazing evening! We are so happy we picked this venue and would absolutely go back!

The Cotillion is very special to me! My parents had their wedding there 37 years ago, my sister had her wedding there, and now our wedding was there last fall. The Cotillion is beautiful for pictures, they are extremely helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our wedding was everything we wanted, food is excellent, my pictures were gorgeous, and I am so thankful we could have our wedding there.

We had our wedding here on September 23rd of 2023. There’s a lot that goes into planning a wedding and some you have no idea about. George was so helpful in our almost 2 years of planning. He guided us through everything and was so honest, kind and patient. He gave us a list of vendors that he trusted completely to make this day the best it could be. The staff is so kind and helpful. The venue is always clean and welcoming. There’s so much that goes into this day and as much as you plan there will be some bumps in the road. Here with George and Tony the sky could be falling and they will make sure you forget what ever went wrong somehow never happened. They go above and beyond and truly treat you like family. I would host so many more future events there and I trust them completely. To this day my guest were left amazed by this day and how the Cotillion does events. They remind us all the time how much fun they had, how good the food was and it was by far the best wedding they’ve been to. To us our guests were our top priority and to see how happy they were here was and will be unforgettable. My family and I are truly grateful to George and would recommend him and the Cotillion every time.

The experience of our wedding at Cotillion was truly remarkable! Collaborating with George was delightful from beginning to end. From the very beginning, George was very clear on the process and assured us he would take care of us. And he absolutely did!!! George was very precise and detailed. I was having anxiety and stressing because I thought I didn’t have everything I needed yet he reassured me and went down the list of EVERYTHING that I needed. There were a few changes the day before and day of our wedding and made all the accommodations. When it came down to the ceremony he made sure EVERYONE was on time and ready to go. The set up was beautiful! Everything went according to plan and to schedule. Especially with the many events and surprises we had during our wedding such as surprise dances, tango performance, band set-up etc. We received so many compliments from our guests. The color was perfect and everything that we envisioned and more! Such a beautiful place and staff was great! George and Tom thank you so so much!! Will and I wish we could relive this night again!

Where do I even begin. I had been so overwhelmed and stressed about my wedding ideas coming to life especially because I had gone through bad experiences in the past with other halls delivering what they had promised. However George at Cotillion had exceeded all of my expectations. He told me over and over again not to worry and he eased my stresses leading up to the wedding. Then when it came to showtime on July 7, 2023 I can’t even express enough in words how amazingly George had handled everything. He made sure even the most minor details were were perfected, he kept our event following the itinerary at the correct times (which can get difficult with Desi weddings), he was so present and approachable to my family and I. Honestly the list goes on, I was just beyond impressed and so grateful that we had pursued cotillion through George specifically for one of the greatest events in our lives, and I will most definitely be bringing future parties to him! We love you George!!!!

I had my wedding reception done here on April 30th, and I wanted to say that George and his crew were amazing and outstanding! I absolutely loved having my wedding reception here. The time and effort and dedication that George has put in and making sure all your needs are met did not disappoint. I have two other brothers whose wedding reception was also held here so I know what to expect and I was sure I had nothing to stress about because George was there to meet all my needs. George - if you are reading this, I want to personally thank you for making everything be a dream come true! You are truly like family and want to personally thank you. If I could, I would give you more than a 5 star rating. You surely went above and beyond to make sure everything was done according to the contract and went above of what I asked. You always took care of everything I had asked and made my wedding reception really memorable. One of the easiest decisions for us to make in our wedding reception planning process. If you decide to work with Tom and George you will not be disappointed and your event will be a great success. They even gave us tips in coordinating other aspects of the reception planning (decor, DJ, wedding planner tasks etc.) to ensure that everything ran smoothly. 9/10/22 George and Tom helped make our wedding everything we dreamed of and more. George was so helpful throughout the whole process from the day of our first showing to the days after the wedding. He always found time to answer any of our questions or concerns. They continuously demonstrated that they cared and worked with us to make sure we got the best value from what we contracted them for not to mention they were extremely generous in their offerings. The main reason why we went with the cotillion was the following: big dance floor, great food, visually elegant by itself, and the people. We booked the front two rooms with 245 guests and there was plenty of room to spare on the dance floor despite us all on it which most venues cannot keep up with. Every guest I talked to at the wedding were raving about the food. Of all the weddings 30+ I've been to over the years, I've never been to one where people went out of their way to reiterate how good the food was throughout the night and reminisce afterwards. The lemon greek soup is a must. The front room includes a sizeable bridal suite with bathroom. The suite connects to the room by a visually appealing staircase as a nice entrance option. Our reception photos were stunning thanks to the interior elegance of the cotillion. We got to enjoy every second of our reception because George and Tom managed everything flawlessly. They are great people to work with, genuine people. We were happy giving them our business and helping support them. Basically there is no competition, the cotillion has excelled in all areas when it comes to a wedding venue.

My wife and I are incredibly happy that we chose to have our wedding at Cotillion Banquets. From day one, George was extremely helpful and easy to work with. He was able to capture our vision perfectly. The ceremony was beautiful! The french onion soup and steak were amazing, and our guests really enjoyed their food selection. I have been to quite a few weddings and the food at Cotillion was ranked at the top. The drinks were amazing and the bartenders were well experienced in providing all drinks our guests requested. The outside appearance of the venue was a huge factor for me as it was the first impression our guests would see, and Cotillion did not disappoint. I highly recommend Cotillion Banquets to anyone planning a wedding. The venue is beautiful, the food is amazing, the drinks were great, and George was fun, helpful, and great to work with, especially his attention to detail on the day of.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue than Cotillion Banquets for our wedding. From our first venue visit, it was clear that Tom and George were true professionals and cared about the people, not just the sale/business. They were flexible, accommodating, and transparent about everything from start to finish. After every conversation/meeting with George, we always felt confident we made the right choice and that our day would be perfect. George made sure the room was beautiful and perfect the day of the wedding and everything went smoothly. We are very grateful and can't recommend them enough!

Despite a few hiccups the morning of the wedding, we really did love our big day at The Cotillion. Everyone who attended the wedding emphasized to us how beautiful of a venue it was and how amazing the food was. My mom said she had never been served hot soup at a wedding before mine! George gave us incredible recommendations for other vendors such as the photographer and florist and we were just as happy with them as we were with the venue. They definitely know what they are doing. The owner, Tom was there at the wedding too; it really shows how they care about their clients.

Where do I even begin??? George, Tom and the rest of the team at The Cotillion made my wedding dreams come true. From the minute I puled into the parking lot for my tour I was in love. The venue is a timeless, classic and gorgeous building inside and out. Their customer service skills are unbelievable. I never once had to stress about anything regarding The Cotillion during my wedding planning. George was so helpful from the beginning and is a master at what he does. The room was absolutely STUNNING, beyond my imagination of what it could look like. Every single detail was perfect. The service staff was incredible and so attentive . The food was unbelievable and timed to perfection. Just simply delicious. All of my guests raved about the food. The bar staff was so amazing, and fast as well! There was never a line at the bar. The Cotillion was the perfect place to have our wedding. We could not be more happy with our experience. 5 stars doesn't even come close to describing how truly professional, helpful, attentive, and lovely George, Tom and the Cotillion team were. I just cant say enough good things. We will absolutely be having future events here!!

7/15/2022 we had our wedding at this beautiful establishment! Everything was absolutely beautiful! George and Tom were the best and very accommodating! My guests were in total awe of everything!!! We are still getting calls of how beautiful things were and how good the food was! All of our guests raved on how they have never had food taste so good at a wedding! We didn’t hire a wedding planner, yet George walked us through everything we would need from beginning to end and the day was perfect! We can’t thank George, Tom, and their staff enough for such an amazingly perfect event!

My mother in law knows people who own a few venues around the Chicagoland area, yet we chose to go with Cotillion because George was a pleasure to work with from the initial meeting. He was flexible and understood exactly what we needed and looked out for us by giving us advice on the pros and cons of our wedding ideas. George is the man! From day 1 onwards, we worked with George. He is very friendly and helpful with lots of creative ideas and gives referrals for preferred vendors. Whatever you wish for, George makes it possible. He gave us a tour of the kitchen where we saw dedicated chefs working tirelessly to serve the best food starting from soup. The food Cotillion serves is amazing-whether it’s steak, salmon, or chicken- comes to each and every guest with a personal touch which is served fresh and warm directly from the kitchen and it just melts in your mouth. The staff is very friendly and cordial. The venue with its ambience is very elegant and unique. All our guests highly commented on the banquet hall and the service provided. George treats us like his own family and makes us feel very special every time we visit. We had our wedding at The Cotillion on October 15,2021. From the moment we walked in to view the venue for the first time in September of 2019 to the last minutes of our wedding night George made us feel like family! He listened to every detail and delivered! I was blown away when I walked into the cotillion on my wedding day. The room looked spectacular and beyond our expectations. We unfortunately had to post pone our original date due to the pandemic and there were no issues what so ever. George made sure we still had a new date in place and helped ease our anxiety along the way. Our wedding guests loved the food and overall ambiance of the venue. George’s attention to detail and quality of service makes the Cotillion unparalleled to other venues in Chicagoland. He was 100% honest and completely transparent throughout the entire process from start to finish. We look forward to hosting more events in the future at the cotillon and working with George again. Our wedding was just absolutely perfect! We loved everything about the day and also to planning process! Working with George was a smooth and flawless process. He was so helpful and helped eased stress and nervousness for the big day! My daughter's wedding was a pandemic wedding that was rescheduled, and took place almost 2 years after signing a contract with the Cotillion Banquets. From the minute we met George, and Tom, I knew we made the right decision. Instantly we became family, and from that point on, the trust we had between us is all I needed. We not only planned and reviewed the details, but we walked through every minute of the evening to make sure it would be perfect - and it was! George's personality, attention to details and professionalism is superb. You could not ask for a better person to work with on such a special and important day. The food was absolutely delicious - cold food was cold and hot food was hot! The filets melted in your mouth! I could not have asked for anything else to have been better. Our guests raved about it and ate, drank and danced the night away. The Cotillion rocks! So happy we made the decision to have the wedding at this venue. Thanks again George and Tom! You guys are the BEST! For sure it's a 5 star place!

Our wedding was magical and everything we could have ever wished for and George made it happen!! Planning a wedding is stressful in itself but planning one during a pandemic and navigating through lockdowns and gathering restrictions presented a different kind of stress. Everything was so uncertain so it was such a relief to deal with a venue that was experienced and willing to do everything it could to make sure we had a beautiful wedding. George was such a great person to work with. He understood our concerns and assured us a wonderful wedding. We had visited 3 venues before we met with George. The other venues were beautiful too but the one thing that won us over the minute we sat down was George! He was so excited and described everything with such passion that we decided at that moment that there was no way we were going to get married without having someone like George taking care of all the details!! He was so kind to offer as free uplifting and when we asked if the two of us could get lobster tails with our dinner, he said he would treat us and give them to us for free!! Unfortunately with a lot of moving parts, the chef forgot to order the lobsters for us but Tom was kind enough to assure us that anytime we wanted, we could arrange for a private lobster dinner at Cotillion for free! Now if that isn’t great customer service, I don’t know what is!!! We will definitely be going back for that dinner lol 😂. My experience with Cotillion has been one of a kind. George and Tom had been so accommodating throughout the whole process. We booked our event in July 2020 and unfortunately because of Covid it had to be rescheduled 3 times. Finally we got a date for August 15, 2021 and the event was a great success. From the beginning we were told that everything will be taken care of, we were a little doubtful but then we actually got a taste of the famous Greek hospitality. From knowing all of the popular cultural dishes, knowing the prayer times, to making sure small details such as table napkins being the design we wanted, George had it all covered and truly we did not need to be worried. From the bottom of heart we would like to thank George and the team for the amazing experience we had during the turbulent times of this pandemic. I would highly recommend Cotillion to my family, friends and all of you who are deciding on a venue!

Where should I start. I would rate the cotillion 10 stars if they would let me. 😁 My experience was truly amazing. Despite having to change my date due to COVID. George, Tom, and lastly I can’t forget The absolutely amazing bartender Joanna made my night/wedding day a dream come true. I had no worries on my wedding day. Even though I never got to eat because I never got off the Beautiful dance floor, my wedding party and guest called after that night stating that the food was outstanding and the venue was spectacular. I am glad and honored to have picked the cotillion banquets for my wedding. Will be booking again. My forever home Venue.

We had a long relationship with the Cotillion as I am a COVID bride. We had been planning this day for almost two years and I can honestly say it was worth it! George became part of the family by the end of this whole experience. George is very detail oriented and thinks about everything so you do not have to. George answered any question I had and reassured all of my worries right away. He does nothing but the best work. He kept saying the day of your wedding I am very serious and he was! He wanted to make sure everything was perfect and just the way we wanted it. George is like a wedding planner, but even better! The venue is absolutely beautiful with the chandelier and the grand staircase. We also got so many compliments on how amazing the food was!

What can I say about the hospitality that hasn't already been mentioned? George and his staff at the Cotillion exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond in every aspect of our event. My wife and I are Sikh and we had high expectations for our reception; from the food displays, to the floor layout, to the cleanliness, and even to our entrance. George took away our stress and tension and ensured us we were in great hands. From the very first meeting, George made us feel welcomed. Like nothing else matter and we were family. He listened, gave recommendations, told us what has worked in the past for others, and provided vendors that he has close relationships with. My wife and I were originally set to be married in July 2020. However due to COVID, we pushed out our wedding. The stress built up, but George reassured us that he'll be in our corner every step of the way. He checked up on us almost every 2-4 weeks. We worked through everything and rescheduled the reception. Fast forward to the day of the event, walking into the venue and seeing our vision turn into reality took our breathe away. The first person to greet us was George. He made sure we liked the layout, how the food was setup. He was on cue with everything. From the lights changing, the cake rolling out to even the food displays. He really makes you feel like he's apart of the family and ensure everything is perfect. I can't thank him enough for everything he's done. Even two months after the wedding George and I still connect. Again, for George you aren't a client, you are legitimately family and he'll go above and beyond for you. Thank you George for everything! Highly recommend the Cotillion and George for any function!! You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I would highly recommend the Cotillion Banquets! We had our wedding reception there and it was the most perfect day. We looked at many reception halls, but the moment we walked into the Cotillion and met with George we knew this was the place we wanted to book. We booked our reception for June 2020 prior to the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We then had to reschedule for June 2021 and George was so accommodating throughout the entire process! Through lots of ups and downs due to the Pandemic and having to postpone, George and the Cotillion remained constant and worked with us every step of the way to make sure we still got everything we asked for and more. I was blown away by the way they took care of us, and worked with us. Throughout my wedding planning process, George was ALWAYS quick to reply to any question or concern I had. I NEVER had to wait long to get a reply from him whether through text or phone call. He was always very on top of everything and helped me right away whenever I asked for it. He was also very detail oriented and wrote down everything I asked for or we talked about to ensure I received the very best service and exactly what I wanted. George also made sure we got everything we asked for. Whatever we wanted or needed, we got! He was ALWAYS willing to work with us. Every time we visited the Cotillion (and of course on the day of our reception) everything was always very clean, put together and everyone we interacted with was very professional, friendly and helpful. The venue is beautiful - inside and out! Very classic and clean from the bathrooms all the way to the event rooms. The food was delicious! In my experience going to other wedding receptions and talking with friends, often times the food isn't as good as the tasting, but I thought the food at the Cotillion was delicious (both at the tasting and the actual event). And we received SEVERAL compliments from our guests saying the food was delicious! All of the waitstaff at our event were very professional, friendly and helpful. Not only was George helpful throughout the entire planning process of our event, but he himself was present at our event making sure everything was running smoothly and just the way we wanted it. We were so very grateful to him for that. I cannot recommend The Cotillion Banquets highly enough! You should definitely book your event with them whether it's for a wedding or another special occasion. You will not regret it!!! We booked the Cotillion prior to the pandemic. We looked at many different halls in different suburban areas before booking at the Cotillion. We felt so comfortable the moment we walked in and we were sold on the very first visit with George. We knew right away that this was the place over all the other halls we visited. They offer so much at an extremely competitive price. I didn't know exactly what to expect but we did have high expectations since it was our only daughter. Our expectations were met beyond our desires. Everything was perfect when we were finally able to have our reception. When the pandemic hit we didn't know what would happen or what to do. My daughter's wedding day was right in the early stages so we could not have the wedding/reception. Our dreams seemed shattered. But George and the owners were so helpful and accommodating. They helped us through the dilemma of what to do and moved our reception to the following year on almost the exact same date. My daughter wanted to get married anyway so we had a very small ceremony during the pandemic and waited to have the reception on our date at the Cotillion. Because of how much the Cotillion did for us, you could not tell that the wedding and reception were in two different years and separated. We had such a great celebration. They did so much for us and made the evening a grand success. The food was amazing! We had so many compliments on how good everything was. People couldn't believe it. We felt so honored and taken care of. I attended chef school as a trade and am very fussy about food. I can't say I expected great food since it is a banquet facility but it was probably the best food I have had at a wedding. We worked mostly with George who is at every party no matter what. He made sure every little detail was taken care of and did it with ease and expertise. I had the pleasure of also meeting one of the owners who was also there the night of our reception. They both kept checking in with us and making sure everything was okay, but they were not intrusive at all. We had a fabulous evening, they took care of every little detail. They made sure the temperature of the room was perfect for us, the food was hot and tasty, the cake was beautiful and good too, the room was perfectly lit and clean! Who has a good wedding cake? We did! They have many great referrals for vendors and hotel accommodations. We highly recommend this place! This is the first time I have written a review but felt very strongly about this. MAN OH MAN. Me and my now Wife Shenika could not wait to post this review of the Cottilion Banquets and our Friend George!! We HIGHLY WITHOUT ANY DOUBT recommend this venue to everyone! It was one thing to be able to find the perfect venue for our wedding. A venue so clean, vibrant, up to date, great location, and very accommodating. What we did not expect is to find a venue with people that cared as much as we did about our day!!!!! When Shenika and I met George, we immediately knew that The Cotillion Banquets was our home for our wedding. He was so genuine and friendly. He listened to all of our needs and made EVERYTHING HAPPEN. It was the wedding of my wife’s dreams and George did everything to make sure of that! We originally had a date set for March 13th, however, due to Covid restrictions, we had to change the date. We weren’t sure how that would work out but George made it happen without ANY concerns. George, Tom and the staff are WONDERFUL and we will be going back to the Cotillion for all of our major events!!! Even the staff at the bar was having a great time with us. That was amazing! We sincerely thank you for taking care of us and for caring!!!!! Because of George and the Cotillion Banquets team, our day was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!

On May 22nd 2021 Michael and I had the honor of getting married at the cotillian banquet hall in palatine. And it was a dream wedding come true! I remebwr when I met George after visiting 2 other places during covid and my husband and I couldn't agree on any of these places until George invited us on our last minute call to see the hall. After that the rest is a beautiful memory. He made my entire planning absolutely easy he gave me vendors that I would possibly need and start setting myself up with and it helped so much. Holly was our florist from ever story has a flower and the two of them together brought tears to my eyes when I entered the banquet hall the day of our wedding. The food was so hearty and delicious we chose the all inclusive combination plate with steak and chicken.. The meat was so delicious and just melted in your mouth. The chicken was cooked just right with such a delicious sauce. And let me tell you about the avgolemono soup.... You just need to go there and try it it speaks for its self! I felt like I expanded my family with the cotillian George and Tom were really welcoming and made sure our night was everything we dreamed of. They worked well with all our vendors and made sure we were 100 percent satisfied! Thank you thank you thank you for making life so easy we love you guys and your team see you for our next event!

My husband and I looked at 3 locations, the Cotillion was the last and we booked it. Why? Well, the warm inviting welcome we received as soon as we walked in. The price, the location, and the venue blew our mind. It superseded our expectations. George is an amazing man and he is the reason why our wedding day went PERFECTLY. He's so organized, detailed oriented, loving.. and will always put YOU the couple first.. Remember this.... he listens to you. The Cotillion is not out to get your money...they're in the business to create fairly tale memories and George did that for US, you become family. He made every dream come true for us. When my fiance and I were reviewing vendors, The Cotillion stood out because of George, the man who runs the show. George is incredibly thorough, timely, understanding, and helpful. He guided us through a lot of our planning journey, showing us pitfalls that he has seen from his decades of experience, and navigating the unsure waters of wedding planning. Preparing for the worst and executing at a high level is what George does best. Not only did his ability to guide us through the planning process help immensely, he worked with us on the price and was very flexible throughout the unsure time of the pandemic. It put a lot of strain on every sector and every business, but George held firm that he would deliver my fiance (at the time) and I a wedding for the ages, and he delivered just that! The food, the decorations (the ones we did not provide), and the setup was flawless! To whomever reads this: my wife and I highly recommend having your ceremony and your reception at the Cotillion and trust us, work with George. It made the entire process so much easier and relieved a lot of unnecessary stress!! Something that George said to us that meant a lot, just shows what kind of a person he is: "We appreciate your belief in us, you are a beautiful couple! The moment we walked in, we knew this was where we were going to have our wedding. Any little doubts we had about the venue were washed away by the warm welcomes and the unbelievable nice treatment we got for Tom and George. Leading up to the wedding date, everything was so smooth. These guys are very nice and genuine and they know how to do business. We still cant decide what our favorite part of the wedding was. The place looked amazing (George IS AMAZING. Made the place look breathtaking. BEST GUY EVER) The food was delicious and the service was very good. Honestly, we cannot think of a single thing that was not perfect EVERYTHING was perfect. If we could go back in time, we would still choose this place to host our wedding a million times over.

I’m truly amazed at all of the compliments we received and continue to receive from our wedding guests about the beautiful venue, tasty food and service from the staff. Let’s not forget the liquor from the open bar was of high quality! Tom the owner and George the event manager were so hospitable from the first time we sat down with them to discuss our wedding details. George made sure everything we wanted was taken care of and came in to check on us to make sure everything was to our liking. So many of our guests loved the banquet so much that they potentially will be inquiring for future events. Cotillion Banquets held our wedding at their venue and made sure we didn’t even think about our original postponed wedding date due to Covid. George and Tom were so personable and made us feel like we were part of the family. Romeo and I thank you so much for the wonderful experience you provided us and the memories we have made not only at your venue but with the friendly connection with you personally.

I still can’t decide what my favorite part of our event was, as George, Tom and the entire cotillion staff organized and helped us throw an amazing christening party for our daughter. From the first day we met George and saw this place ,we knew we had found the spot George was extremely helpful with changing our event date and drawing up a new contract without hassle. From the cake, to champagne for all our guests, to monitoring the buffet table(making sure it was not empty) and omg, the fruit tray was superb. I remember my husband enjoying some fruits after the party.All of our Nigerian friends and family had an amazing time and most certainly got nice pictures too. If you are looking for a space for your event, look no further. Irrespective of your number of guests, the parking lot can most definitely hold a rally. Lol. Again, George is most without doubt someone I will be doing more business with in the nearest future at the cotillion banquets.

Our initial wedding date was August 22nd, 2020 before Covid-19 caused us to delay it to October 24th, 2020. If it weren’t for George and the team at the Cotillion being so flexible, I don’t know that our wedding would have happened this year and I know it wouldn’t have been as amazing of an event. We probably changed our wedding date 3-4 times between August and September trying to get all of our vendors on board, and the Cotillion always made it work for us to have a beautiful event. We were expecting to have roughly 225 people in a room for our wedding, but it had to be reduced to 50 in a room because of Covid. It was very important to us to keep our guests safe, and the Cotillion followed the state guidelines, but still allowed us to have 150 guests by utilizing all three rooms (at no additional charge to us!). It was a worry of mine that each room would look empty with only 50 guests, but George and the staff really delivered. The space was used excellently and the venue looked magical when the night came. If you meet with George you’ll instantly see that he is extremely nice, but also very confident in his work to make your wedding dreams come true. I’ve now learned this confidence comes from his 20+ years of experience and that he will actually work so hard to make it happen, and he did for our wedding. We received so many compliments throughout the night and over the next few weeks after our wedding. Some compliments we received that I would like George, Tom, Gus, and the whole team for: “Best food I’ve eaten at a wedding” “Dessert table looked and tasted amazing” “The staff were so kind and cheerful” “The room looked beautiful with the lights and the color scheme” I can’t thank the Cotillion enough for how great of a job they did on our wedding. I didn’t imagine it could have been that magical even if Covid wasn’t a factor, and they really made the best possible day for my wife and I!

George and Tom made everything wonderful. We met George Jan of 2019. I told him what my vision was and what I wanted. He asked if we went any where else and we didn’t. The cotillion was the first place we looked at and fell in love with it. We booked and planned for our wedding to be June 19,20. As we got closer to our date we had to reschedule our wedding. George was on top of it and got us in another date this year. When sept came around I talked to George several time and everything was set. George saw my vision and helped me make it come true. On sept 25,20 we had our wedding. And it was everything I could imagine. It was my vision and an amazing night. All our guests said how delicious the food was, how gorgeous the cotillion was and how it truly was my vision. Eveything went just right. And if we had to do it again we would definitely pick the cotillion. For having a wedding during COVID I was worried about it but it truly was amazing.

Words cannot express how hard George and Tom worked to help make our wedding happen. We first met George about a year ago (Pre-covid-19) to start our wedding planning. From the start, George’s personality and hospitality amazed us. He made wedding planning such a breeze. Once the shelter at home order began in March, our wedding planning came to a complete stop. Around end of June, we met with George and Tom to brainstorm ideas on how we could safely have our wedding with a small number of guests. We had to completely change up plans from what we had initially planned for but George and Tom helped us accomplish something we never thought could happen. They listened to us and made sure our voices were heard. They made it their priority to make sure that we got to celebrate our special day. Our wedding day was definitely an unforgettable one. With George and Tom by our side, everything went so wonderfully. The food was AMAZING!! When George tells you about the great food Cotillion offers, he is not kidding! We are so grateful that we chose such an wonderful venue and an even better team that’s a part of Cotillion banquets. Cotillion is the best example of a family owned business. You feel the love of family just from walking in through the door. George, thank you for all your support and positive energy during this entire process. Tom, without your key attention to detail, our wedding would not have happened so smoothly. We cannot recommend Cotillion enough! This is the place to be for your next events!!

This venue is the best! The service was spectacular and everything I could have asked for! Before coming to this venue I checked out a few others that were nice. The venue is a beautiful space and there is room for very large weddings. I was sold once I met with George! My now-husband and I didn't have the financial means to get a wedding planner but George was more than I could have asked for! He had amazing recommendations for photographers, limo services and floral shops; he made the planning enjoyable and not stressful! What I loved most about George is he would check in to see if I had booked other services for the big day! I am a very detailed person and George is just as detailed so he made everything perfect. We met a couple times to go over the event down to the time everything was going to happen. Everything was perfect that day and I am so glad I was able to work with a person like George. The venue was beautiful! The Cotillion should be your choice! The banquet hall was a perfect size. The decor matched the theme for my wedding. Also, the food was spectacular! My guests and I truly enjoyed ourselves. I have amazing pictures to show! Thank you so much Cotillion for giving me a beautiful memory that I will cherish forever!!

There’s a lot of stress planning a wedding but the team at the Cotillion, especially working with George, made the day effortless on mine behalf and I didn’t have to worry about a thing when it came to the reception. He made sure that we had a timeline for the night and advise us when we should cut the cake to our first dance and all the important details so our photographer can get those important pictures without the servers in our pictures. The venue was absolutely beautiful from all of the decors to every details on the each tables. The team at the Cotillion was very accommodating and worked with our budget and even went out of their way to help our vendors set up and letting my husband and I practice our first dance in another room while they set up. The servers and bartenders gave one of the best services to all of our guests which is amazing and very important to us. Our guests rave about the amazing food and the venue. George and his team are the of the best in the wedding business!!

George and the entire Cotillion crew really knocked it out of the park for our wedding. My wife and I were so happy with our experience at this venue. We had toured around twelve different venues and the Cotillion was the clear winner. Of all the venues we looked at, this one offered the best quality at the best price. We had multiple meetings with George in the year leading up to the wedding. The planning process was very thorough and there was never any doubt about how the day would run. George worked closely with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted, including some upgrades to our package which were most appreciated.  As for the day of, we couldn’t have been happier with how everything went. When we arrived for our reception, we were absolutely blown away by how incredible the room looked. George and his crew made it look just like the fairy tale style my wife had in mind. The food was excellent (we offered beef, chicken, salmon, and a vegan option) and we received numerous compliments about its quality and taste. The night stayed mostly on schedule, although with the length of our toasts and there being two other events that night, some delays were understandable. As to there being other parties that night, you would have never guessed it from inside our ballroom. So, to anyone worried about competing noise volumes, you can rest easy. At the end of the night, clean-up was quick and we were able to stow some of our things at the venue overnight. Now, onto the most important part of this operation – George. This guy is incredible at his job. He is thorough, organized, and absolutely professional. He will have you read his reviews, which he should because, like this one, they are very positive. George isn’t trying to oversell you on how good he is. He really is as good as he says. We felt so welcome at the Cotillion where George, Tom, Gus, and the entire staff truly treat you like family. They have a strong sense of hospitality and friendliness here that made for a very enjoyable experience. My wife and I hope to host more events here in the future and I can’t recommend this venue highly enough.

Where do I start? My husband and I went to tons of venues and none of them treated us like the Cotillion did. From the beginning George was there with any questions we had, let us come in anytime we needed, gave us recommendations for other vendors as well. Also gave us a tour of the kitchen! Not one place we went to did that. We knew when we left there we wanted to book. The whole process was amazing. No issues with anything. Last minute I wanted to change rooms and George made it happen! Even with having to reconfigure everything 😊The day before our wedding when we were dropping our items off George let us know he couldn’t make it to our wedding for personal reasons. I was so nervous. George made it a point to come in at 4am that morning to set the items out we brought. He even sent me pictures the morning of our wedding! Which of course I was so happy with. Tom was with us that night and he was nothing short of amazing. He was right there when we walked in and made sure everything was perfect! It legit went so smooth I couldn’t ask for a better night. One of our guests was having a little too much fun and spilled and Tom was the one cleaning it up! At the end of the night he helped my mom pack everything up and she wouldn’t stop talking about how amazing he was! I received SO many compliments on the food! Everyone loved it! I couldn’t thank the Cotillion and their staff enough! You made our wedding dreams come true!

If you're looking for a Banquet Hall that will support you, listen to you and make your event planning easier then Cotillion should be your choice! We had our wedding reception on August 10, 2019 and we couldn't be happier that we chose Cotillion. We worked with George and he is great! He is on top of things, will explain everything for you to make this planning experience less stressful. He was there with us on the wedding day along with Tom, the owner, making sure everything was going smoothly. They are a great team and they make you feel like you're a part of Cotillion family. We will be hosting our future events with George! Thank you for everything Cotillion!!

My husbae and I decided on this venue because not only was it so beautiful but George was OUTSTANDING from beginning to end!!! George and Tom were very welcoming and made us feel like family from the first visit. They are very kind and considerate as well. Everything George said he’d do he did!! George is very detailed and specific which I loved because I am as well. When I didn’t understand something he didn’t hesitate to go back over it with me. George’s generosity was above and beyond. Despite George having a family situation that day, he kept a smile on his face for us and continued to make sure we were happy and taken care of, for that we are beyond grateful. My husbae said George helped him to feel comfortable before the wedding ceremony took place and he made it more personal than just business for the both of us which we are very thankful for. I didn’t like the lighting color I had originally chosen, so last minute George and Tom changed it for us which we really appreciated and the change made the room look amazing with our colors. Our room looked absolutely fantastic and everyone was in awe!! The food was delicious, especially the chicken and rice soup, everyone loved it and are still raving about it. There are plenty of opportunities for pictures from the outside gazebo to their beautifully decorated foyer. This venue is very well kept and clean, George did not hesitate to give us a full tour including the kitchen which we were very impressed by. We HIGHLY recommend this venue for your upcoming event!!

We had our reception at the Cotillion on August 18th, 2019 and it was just perfect! All of our guests (including our parents) were impressed by the hall and how seamless everything went. The hall was beautiful, the service was outstanding and George works with you to make sure everything is perfect. George thought of EVERY DETAIL ahead of time and made sure we were all on the same page about how every hour of the reception would be. George was so informative in general about the whole wedding process. He was always available to answer our many questions, walking us through all our options, meeting with us multiple times prior to the wedding, and even connecting us to other vendors that we needed for the wedding. The Cotillion banquet is also one of the few venues that accomodated outside catering, which was very important to us as we wanted to bring in a Nigerian caterer for the wedding. They were so receptive to accommodating cultural needs and ANY needs that we brought up and we are so grateful for that! Finding the Cotillion and most importantly having George there to help coordinate all aspects of our reception took a huge weight off our shoulders (especially as we didn't have a planner) and enabled us to really enjoy our wedding. The level of professionalism at the Cotillion is outstanding and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless. We really felt like an extended member of the family with how well they took care of us. We cannot thank George and the entire staff of the Cotillion enough for making our wedding so memorable and so perfect.

The Cotillion was one of the last venues we looked at, but from the moment we walked in we were sold. The ballroom and even entry way is absolutely gorgeous! From there we met George who is outstanding! He provided us with all the information we could possibly need. George worked with our budget, timeline, and any idea we came up with he took it and made it a reality. The week of we had several last minute changes that George, Tom, and Barbara were able to work with. The day of, the room looked beautiful and the tables were set up perfectly! The food and atmosphere was outstanding. Our guests have not stopped talking about it! I cannot thank George or the entire staff enough for making our special day beautiful and perfect.

If we could rate this more than 5 stars, we would!! Cotillion Banquets is absolutely beautiful. My now husband and I got married there August 18th, 2019 and had such an incredible time. George, our wedding planner was the best!!! He is very genuine, hardworking, the best wedding planner out there. He was always willing to pick up the phone and call us when we had questions no matter what time it was. He made our wedding one to always remember. We look back and say to ourselves was this even real!! The beauty of this banquet hall, the staff, the food, EVERYTHING was perfect. We had our wedding here on June 1st, 2019. First and foremost, although the venue and food are amazing, the real reason to book this place is GEORGE. We were planning our wedding in Atlanta, GA and went to many places and called around Chicago area and everyone one was interested in only money and numbers. GEORGE was the only one to talk to us like family. Once we visited the banquet hall and met GEORGE , we didn’t need to think twice. This was the only venue we visited in Illinois. George will keep you on track with everything throughout the whole process and he is there every step of the way. For example, he made sure to keep us on track with getting the guest count, setting up the cake, decorations, event planners, and anything that was needed to make the day go smoothly. He goes above and beyond to make sure you will be taken care of. The night before our wedding he kept the place open just for us so the decorations could be done. The day of the wedding , he wouldn’t let the guests enter the room until he was sure my wife and I could finish our wedding pictures. His priority is going to be the bride and groom. He made sure the food was amazing and served impeccably. Even after the wedding day he personally helped us with taking things into the car. He really does make you feel like family. My wife and I were doing the wedding just by ourselves basically and George was our guide the whole way. He always will be upfront with you, give you the best options for your budget and it is extremely important to him that you feel its family environment and not just a business. I know all the guests were so happy with the wedding and especially the food and complemented on how professional his service staff were. During the wedding in the bridal sweet , his staff made sure everyone was taken care of all the time. George will be there day one and he will be there on the day of the wedding behind the scenes. He does not leave anything up to anyone but himself.

Sorry this is so late, George, but better late than never... We stopped at the Cotillion, as we were checking out various places to have our reception. George took us throughout the entire building. We were so impressed at how SPOTLESS their kitchen was, and that was while they had staff preparing meals for a wedding reception that was going on. Everything is prepared FRESH and delicious. Our reception was absolutely beautiful. George takes pride in having perfect timing with everything. The staff makes you feel like family and they go the extra mile to make sure that things are exactly as you want. If you want perfection, the Cotillion is the place for any gathering. Where do we even begin?..from the moment we stepped into Cotillion while venue shopping we knew it was something special. My parents first found this venue through a friend and after going to multiple places there was nothing that compared! Tom & George are the absolute best!!! We had the first two rooms of the banquet named Crown and Tiara we agreed on 400 people when we booked and long story short ended up with way over. George & Tom we’re both SO accommodating and when I say accommodating we mean it to the max. We ended up with 498 people and were so nervous every time we would add a couple people but they were so calm and made everyone fit with enough space to comfortably move around. Our florist was able to easily work with Cotillion Banquets’s as well to make the wedding of our dreams really come true! The night of our wedding there was also another wedding in the back room and we received sooo many compliments on our room from their guests. We had a Romanian wedding, and Romanians are very picky when it comes to food but not one guest complained about the food and everyone was amazed and told us how amazing it all was. From the appetizers to the main course everyone ate and was filled. Our bridal party couldn’t wait for the next platter to come out with our appetizers that’s how amazing they were. We had only good reviews about the food, room, and service from every guest. Our servers were so respectful and did their job diligently. What can we say, everything we wanted for our reception, we received AND MORE. George and Tom made it happen. They are truly wonderful people that we can say we grew a friendship with and it was not only business. We urge all who are looking for venues to stop looking anywhere else and make an appointment at the cotillion. We promise you will not regret your decision!!!! We are so so thankful for having the Cotillion be able to host our reception we can’t say enough how happy we were and are for our beautiful wedding! I've dreamed about my wedding day ever since I was a little girl. George and the Cotillion took those dreams and made them even better in reality. Wedding planning was very overwhelming to me expect for when I was working with George. He made everything so easy and I always trusted him and his judgment. He treated my fiance and I like family from the minute we walked through the doors. George always kept in contact with us, answered all of our questions throughly, and helped us through tough decisions. I felt like Cinderella on my wedding day and George was my fairy godfather! Everything we had planned was perfect. No detail was forgotten. I was blown away! I immediately bursted into tears when I first saw our ballroom completed. George made it better than my dreams! From the beginning of the wedding planning through our wedding day we were incredibly impressed with the Cotillion. Starting from our first visit meeting with George we could tell the Cotillion was a family atmosphere. When we toured the facility, we saw everyone from the owner to the staff working together to prepare for an event that evening. During the wedding planning, George was enjoyable to work with. His servant heart showed through when with each request his reply was always“no problem.” At the same time using his many years of expertise, George kindly guided us to wise decisions that we would not have thought of otherwise. The day of the wedding was stress-free for us because of all the work George and his staff put into the setup and logistics. During our reception, the staff was incredibly attentive and Tom the owner checked in with us several times throughout the night to make certain everything was going well. We had several people tell us the evening was one of the best receptions they had attended. In particular, people express that the food was delicious. We had several guests with special dietary needs and the Cotillion accommodated all of their needs with ease. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience throughout the entire wedding process thanks to Tom, George, and staff!

Thank your George for all your help and everything you did for us. Inspite of family emergency you took time out to make sure our functions went smoothly. You went above and beyond our expectations. We had our wedding last month and it was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! We have George to thank for all of it! He is extremely detailed and dedicated to the couple that is he working with. We were most pleasantly surprised by the fact that he treated us like family and not just another customer. My daughter, her fiance, and I visited three venues before we chose the Cotillion Banquets. When we met George, we knew this was the place. He has such a great personality, wit, and sense of humor. After meeting with him on multiple occasions, and going through details, I can attest, that he is one of the most hardworking, detail orientated, and passionate people I have ever met. The room was absolutely stunning! We received so many compliments on the dinner entrees. The wait staff and bartenders were very attentive and friendly.
