if you choose CCL, you will not regret your decision. 1. The event coordinator is exceptional. She answered ALL of my questions, suggested fun ideas (serving champagne upon guest arrival), made sure that I thought of everything (an aisle cover so my veil didn't catch on the bricks), and was there day-of to make sure everything ran smoothly. 2. The kitchen & bar are on site. Honestly, these services being in house was a huge stress reliever. Not to mention the food and staff were great! 3. They were extremely accommodating. This is something that should NOT be taken for granted while wedding planning!! Their goal is to make your day as stress-free as possible and they do just that. 4. There are a ton of photo spots! We were able to take carts around the course to multiples areas with trees, bridges, lakes, etc. 5. You can make the wedding indoor & outdoor (or choose one). We had the ceremony and cocktail hour under the tent, and then came inside for the reception. However, we were able to keep the outdoor area open and our guests could enjoy the patio as well as the fire pits in the evening! Overall, I could not recommend CCL enough. I had complete faith in the staff and could not have been happier with how our wedding turned out!

, picture perfect wedding. We could not have asked for better, service, food, or made to order kind of day. The patio served us well for the ceremony and elegant ballroom served as a gorgeous reception area. Thanks to all of the professional staff who served us as if it were their own special day.

sing area and in my opinion, this is by far the best venue. The Country Club is beautiful and was the perfect backdrop for our romantic garden themed wedding. The staff was very professional and were there to assist with anything we needed. The food was also DELICIOUS. We married in June and were fortunate to have beautiful weather on our wedding day. Our guests loved the outdoor tent/cocktail hour/outside bar. Would definitely recommend the tent for a summer wedding! I also loved how we were the only wedding at the club and had the entire ballroom, tent area, a large amount of space in the locker rooms, and essentially the entire lobby to ourselves. Highly recommend!

thly the day of our ceremony. We were married on site (outdoors) and then had our reception inside. Multiple people came up during the day to tell us how great the club's staff was. Our guests were a fan of one of the waiters in particular (Terrance). I just wanted to say thank you again to the entire staff - especially Alyson! She was quick to answer all of my questions and incredibly easy to get ahold of.

d was super delicious and we had numerous compliments from our guests about the appetizers and the entrees. The servers were very professional which made the experience even better for us! We truly had an amazing reception at the CCL and would highly recommend this venue to any future brides :)

o the max because we had not planned on taking care of everything ourselves. The event coordinator did not even keep our timeline on her. When I confronted her about it, she told me that it was not her job. When I tried to go to the general manager about my experience he told me that I was overreacting. I have never written a bad review ever and consider myself to be extremely laid back. The whole wedding I was busy taking care of things that the event coordinator was supposed to take care of. It was a nightmare. I wasn't able to relax until my bridesmaids were able to hunt down the staff and have them try to get everyone seated for dinner. Very stressful. I was also overcharged for several things. When I confronted the general manager about it, he said "is it really that big of a deal?". Um yes! If I am being overcharged for things I didn't order! it is a big deal! Crazy experience. After I wrote this review, the club manager called my mother-in law and told her that I hung up the phone on him and tried to convince her that I was rude and unprofessional. I never hung up the phone and I was nothing but professional. I have no interest in getting anything. The only thing I wanted was for them to get feedback to make them better. I had my husband on the phone with me and we were nothing but polite. We were only trying to help the club understand what we went through. The general manager was so upset by feedback that he decided to get his revenge by making up lies to my mother in-law about me. My husband and I are in shock with how the country club handled our situation and how they took it upon themselves to try to get revenge on us for writing a review. They have also informed me that they are going to take legal action if necessary. I was almost too scared to write this review...But I feel that brides need to know what they are getting into before booking this venue.

everything the day of the wedding. The servers were wonderful; one lady was even assigned to my husband and I for the entire night and she made sure all our needs were met! All our guests said it was one of the nicest weddings they've been to and I owe much of that to the CCL. If you can make the sacrifice monetarily, Country Club of Lansing won't let you down!

so flexible and accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing! The tasting was SO good, but I worried it wasn't going to be as good when they made 100 plates instead of 1. I didn't have to worry, everything was perfect on the big day. The food was great and all of our guests commented on it! Highly recommend this venue!

second because there was turn over in the event planning position however Rachel, the new event planner, didn't skip a beat. She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The dining room is the perfect lay out for a reception and everything went as planned the day of the wedding. I also received multiple compliments about the menu. People said it was the best food they had at any wedding. Overall I had a wonderful experience with Rachel and the staff at the country club. I would recommend this venue to anyone. The grounds are very pretty for pictures as well.
