Country Club of Lansing

The wedding event coordinator, Jillissa, was so sweet and attentive to every detail at this beautiful premier club. Everything was first class from start to finish for a fairy tale, picture perfect wedding. We could not have asked for better, service, food, or made to order kind of day. The patio served us well for the ceremony and elegant ballroom served as a gorgeous reception area. Thanks to all of the professional staff who served us as if it were their own special day.

We couldn't be happier that we chose the Country Club of Lansing as our reception venue. My husband and I met at Michigan State and specifically wanted a wedding in the Greater Lansing area and in my opinion, this is by far the best venue. The Country Club is beautiful and was the perfect backdrop for our romantic garden themed wedding. The staff was very professional and were there to assist with anything we needed. The food was also DELICIOUS. We married in June and were fortunate to have beautiful weather on our wedding day. Our guests loved the outdoor tent/cocktail hour/outside bar. Would definitely recommend the tent for a summer wedding! I also loved how we were the only wedding at the club and had the entire ballroom, tent area, a large amount of space in the locker rooms, and essentially the entire lobby to ourselves. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about our fantastic experience with the Country Club of Lansing. Alyson and everyone at the club was amazing to work with and they made sure everything ran smoothly the day of our ceremony. We were married on site (outdoors) and then had our reception inside. Multiple people came up during the day to tell us how great the club's staff was. Our guests were a fan of one of the waiters in particular (Terrance). I just wanted to say thank you again to the entire staff - especially Alyson! She was quick to answer all of my questions and incredibly easy to get ahold of.

The CCL is the PERFECT venue to host your wedding/reception. They made the planning process super easy and less stressful. They were very accommodation to all our requests. The food was super delicious and we had numerous compliments from our guests about the appetizers and the entrees. The servers were very professional which made the experience even better for us! We truly had an amazing reception at the CCL and would highly recommend this venue to any future brides :)

Just had my wedding here! It was super nice, very elegant, great service and delicious food. Danialle was super helpful through out planning everything and answered my hundreds of emails right away. The only downfall to this venue was the cost. We had to cut back on a lot of things to stay within our budget but glad we decided to have it here.

The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The moment we got to the club, we were shepherded into a "locker room" that was more like a palace, and served drinks and food. Danialle was incredibly helpful every step of the way.

Please do not get married here. My guests had a great time, but only because I was personally acting as the event coordinator. My groom, bridal party and myself were stressed out to the max because we had not planned on taking care of everything ourselves. The event coordinator did not even keep our timeline on her. When I confronted her about it, she told me that it was not her job. When I tried to go to the general manager about my experience he told me that I was overreacting. I have never written a bad review ever and consider myself to be extremely laid back. The whole wedding I was busy taking care of things that the event coordinator was supposed to take care of. It was a nightmare. I wasn't able to relax until my bridesmaids were able to hunt down the staff and have them try to get everyone seated for dinner. Very stressful. I was also overcharged for several things. When I confronted the general manager about it, he said "is it really that big of a deal?". Um yes! If I am being overcharged for things I didn't order! it is a big deal! Crazy experience. After I wrote this review, the club manager called my mother-in law and told her that I hung up the phone on him and tried to convince her that I was rude and unprofessional. I never hung up the phone and I was nothing but professional. I have no interest in getting anything. The only thing I wanted was for them to get feedback to make them better. I had my husband on the phone with me and we were nothing but polite. We were only trying to help the club understand what we went through. The general manager was so upset by feedback that he decided to get his revenge by making up lies to my mother in-law about me. My husband and I are in shock with how the country club handled our situation and how they took it upon themselves to try to get revenge on us for writing a review. They have also informed me that they are going to take legal action if necessary. I was almost too scared to write this review...But I feel that brides need to know what they are getting into before booking this venue.

I am so glad we chose CCL for our reception venue. It's a beautiful background that hardly needs any additional decorations. Danialle was great to work with and she took care of everything the day of the wedding. The servers were wonderful; one lady was even assigned to my husband and I for the entire night and she made sure all our needs were met! All our guests said it was one of the nicest weddings they've been to and I owe much of that to the CCL. If you can make the sacrifice monetarily, Country Club of Lansing won't let you down!

We had our reception at the CCL and it was so beautiful! Rachel Pullman, the coordinator, was infinitely helpful and a joy to work with. She helped us figure out everything and was so flexible and accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing! The tasting was SO good, but I worried it wasn't going to be as good when they made 100 plates instead of 1. I didn't have to worry, everything was perfect on the big day. The food was great and all of our guests commented on it! Highly recommend this venue!

I had my reception at the Country Club of Lansing and was extremely happy with the staff and outcome. Everyone at CCL was very professional and accommodating. I was worried for a second because there was turn over in the event planning position however Rachel, the new event planner, didn't skip a beat. She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The dining room is the perfect lay out for a reception and everything went as planned the day of the wedding. I also received multiple compliments about the menu. People said it was the best food they had at any wedding. Overall I had a wonderful experience with Rachel and the staff at the country club. I would recommend this venue to anyone. The grounds are very pretty for pictures as well.

we wanted our wedding to be relaxed and outdoors. CCL was the only venue in our area that could provide that allowing our on site ceremony and reception to be outdoors.
