nue owners are amazing people!!!! The venue is absolutely beautiful and I loved how private and intimate the setting is! I felt like a princess in a fairytale and was loving every moment! When we did have our wedding: Our wedding was perfect and the whole time I couldn't stop saying how happy I was! Our wedding was finally on October 23rd and it was an absolute fairytale! The venue was beautiful and clean when we arrived. I loved the string lights and photo op areas, everything felt romantic, especially when the sun went down! The bride and groom prep area was clean and I loved the lights and mirrors in the bridal area. The venue had set some tables out for us before we arrived and showed us where the rest of the table and chairs were located. They had wagons available for us to carry chairs and items around the venue during set up and takedown and that was very helpful. The owners even came out to help us take down everything and I was thankful for their help! The venue owners directed guests to park in a way that would be convient for when they were leaving at the end of the night. During cocktail hour the owners asked my grandparents if they wanted the heaters on because it had gotten chilly. My Nana declined but they went and gave her a clean blanket to wrap up in. The venue owners also allowed guests to use their bathrooms inside their home if there was a line at the wedding area restrooms. My florist and Caterer loved our venue as well! The florist went to take photos in the photo op area and enjoyed decorating the alter. The caterers were pleased to have easy access to the reception area from the parking lot. Before we had our wedding: We went to the venue in the spring of 2019 and were given a grand tour by the owner Peetie, she was kind and hospitable to us and we fell in love with them and their venue! When we were about 2 months away from the wedding COVID was starting to hit hard and we requested postponing our wedding a little more than a month before our date of May 1st 2020. The venue handled the situation with grace and flexibility and we had our wedding moved to May 8th of 2021. We were so thankful to have a venue that was incredibly accommodating. When we got closer to May 8th of 2021 the VA govenor had placed a limit on gatherings. We called the venue to discuss the matter and were met again with grace and flexibility. We expressed that we were hoping for May 8th but were unsure if the limit on gatherings would be lifted and were requesting a possible date for September or October. The venue was kind about the situation and we tentatively scheduled for the a new date while we waited out the gathering limit. We ended up postponing a month prior to our wedding again! We are so thankful to have been working with such kind and understanding people. I am so happy with how our wedding was and I recommend this venue 100%.

anted. Petie and Phil made sure that all our our wishes came true. I got to have my Chandelier thank you Terri for meeting with the event staff to make that happen. The Bridal Suite and Groomsmen suite allowed Clyde and I to relax and enjoy getting ready to spend the rest of our lives together. Thank you Petie, Phil and Terri for allowing this day to be so enjoyable for Clyde and I. Especially our Guest each and everyone felt so special and loved how gorgeous the entire Venue was they were BLOWN away. Clyde and I can never repay you for making all of our Guest comfortable from the moment they parked till they departed. Petie promise that on the day of the wedding they would help us with anything that we need. my workers needed help multiple times and ask them for help and they would not do anything to help my coordinator. we were a little behind on our time. They have air walls in a Pavilion out there that you can zip down or zip up and I asked my coordinator to zip down my air walls behind my food so I didn't have to worry about bugs getting over my food since it is an outdoor wedding. She asked them to help her zip down the air walls and they told her no but they allowed her to zip down the ones that were not covering the food. So after the entire wedding started everything was going beautifully from what my family and guests made of it and the wedding started about 3pm. my contract was originally from 2 until 8 p.m. and I paid $815 for 2 extra hours at 12 noon, several months ago. I got married around close to 3 p.m., because we were running behind, and by 6 I actually had my coordinator to ask the owners if we could pay again ,during my wedding, for another couple of hours since we only had two hours left because we had to be departing by 8. They declined giving us the extra two hours,so I was just going to make the most of my wedding. all of a sudden 30 minutes later her husband who is the owner of the venue comes out in the middle of my reception and starts following around my workers and broke down my tables and started putting my things away and we ended up getting into an argument with him because we still had almost an hour and a half left on our contracted time. They sit outside for the rest of my duration following around myself my guests and my workers and harassing us calling people names the owner tried fighting my coordinator a man literally put his fists up to a woman.!All the while my family and my workers are taping everything that's going on in case we need it for any reason. We got blamed for flower petals and beer cans that were left in the middle of the venue grass that were actually there from another wedding on the same day of our rehearsal! They did not clean the venue grounds at all one of my guests stepped in dog poop and we didn't have any dogs out there. I paid a lot of money and worked very hard for two years to make my wedding special especially because we have small children and we're not having a honeymoon so this was our only day. I have not had a good memory at all thanks to having to deal with all of this and this is what I get to remember for the rest of my life with my wedding day!My wedding was two days ago and I'm still very hurt about some of the stuff that they've done to me. I had thousands of dollars of food that was thrown in the trash, I didn't get to serve cake, and it was complete chaos trying to get all of our stuff out the door and leave being followed around for almost 2 hours. It was completely horrible and I can guarantee you they won't give me back my $500. Deposit either even though we cleaned up everything and left nothing there. Worst experience ever!! Do not let these people fool you out of your money they do not care about your wedding day they only want your money and once they have it they don't give a damn how things go for you on your special day.

reaction, that this was the perfect venue for her wedding! The setting takes place in a gorgeous landscaped lawn filled with flowers, greenery, and trees with several islands of gardens. Across the lawn, there is a beautiful archway on a small patio, embraced by lush magnolia trees, just perfect for a wedding ceremony. Magical strings of lights drape across the lawn and wrap around the trees to create such an enchanting ambience that it takes your breath away. Along with all this, the reception area is an open pavilion (with the option to close on rainy days) with abundant room for at least 150 guests, buffet, cake, entertainment, and dance floor, with a bartending area along side it. The pavilion is again lit with lovely strings of lights. There are so many opportunities to take wedding pictures staged by a little bridge, staircase, and tree swing. This venue made my daughter’s and her husband’s wedding complete, and was more beautiful than we ever expected! Thank you, Petie, for all your help! If anyone is looking for a lovely romantic venue, Country Villa Inn may be the perfect setting!

and I loved chatting with her so much. She's always doing something new to the place and making it even better! When Anna Maria came on board, she was the kindest soul to work with! She was SO helpful and understanding, and so willing to work with you! There could not be a better staff out there for a venue. They are so kind, understanding, and they have so much to offer and so much they provide. The grounds were beautiful, the venue is magical, and the night was perfect. I had never seen the venue when it was dark before that night, and oh my goodness it looked like it was from a movie. I was so pleased with the experience here and every guest loved it as well. My husband and I could not be happier!! Thank you guys so much!

pite the unfortunate weather conditions. Lots of heavy rain. There was a Pergola that had the tented covering but really did not have enough room, but we made the best of it. But I am warning you, DO NOT NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!! Honestly the wedding was beautiful, and even though it was unfortunate that we were pretty much stuck in the tent the whole night because of how bad the weather was AND you had to walk in the pouring rain and come back completely drenched (approx 200 ft away from the ten) it was still a beautiful wedding. It’s really not the wedding that’s important, it’s the marriage. But let’s face it, if you’re going to spend the money, you want it to be as perfect as you can make it. So back to the venue, the people that own/operate this place are horrendous. The host, “Ms Peti” was rude, condescending, and a two-faced liar!! She made so many promises to my brother and SIL and did not keep her end of the bargain. At the beginning, before signing the contract she was the sweetest little lady, but after the contracts were signed and deposits were in, she was a whole different person! That’s when she brings up all the “rules” of their villa. Rules that were not mentioned when we viewed the venue. They were very strict about everything, cant decorate the way you want, can’t use any kind of tape or nails anyway... the list goes on. Their wedding was on a Sunday and there was a wedding the night before, so the earliest we could decorate was at 9am the day of the 3pm wedding. So we were already crunched for time, with having to do everything (table/chair set up, decor, etc). It’s bad enough that they will not help at all, “Peti” would hover over the set up crew and tell them, “don’t do this”, “don’t do that”, “my husbands getting pissed of that y’all are hanging things on that tree”..... keep in mind everyone was already on edge not knowing what the weather was going to rbe like the time of the ceremony, and that we really didn’t have much time. Also, my SIL mentioned to “Peti” prior to the day of the wedding that she would like to keep the wedding cake in the main villa, as it is cooler in there than the bridal suite. Ms. Peti had no problem with it and gave her permission to do so. The day of the wedding, the most important day, the day the bride was already on the edge.... Ms. Peti goes back on her word and tells her she needs to just keep it in the bridal suite because she doesn’t feel like opening the door to the villa and she had errands to run. “Errands to run”???? This was acting she was just doing them a favor “borrowing” the place, I think she forgot that they payed her $5000 to rent her property. 🙄 So anyhow, the cake had to be stored in the bridal suite. Where we were getting ready. She then came back from running her personal errands, she comes barging into the bridal suite yelling at everyone to stop opening and closing the door. She said we were letting all the cool air out and she didn’t feel like hearing the bride complain about how hot it was in there. No help from the owners, just nagging about how your ruining her villa, they will not lift a finger or lend a hand at all they will just tell you what NOT to do. Also remember you are responsible for clean up and throwing away the trash at the end of the evening.

with all the textures. There was a lovely pergola, a dance floor, lights in the trees, and a very relaxed homey feel to the whole event. They also have a b&b which I'm guessing the bride and groom stayed in. Excellent venue. Best wedding I've ever attended.

I had a vision of what I wanted and they had the land to make it happen with lights streaming from tree to tree like a wonderland and a giant covered gazebo that is so versatile, it works for any theme. They have so much to offer for me to go into detail, Country Villa Inn Weddings is top notch you don’t want to pass this place up! Not to mention, I stayed the night before at their bed and breakfast and their hospitality was so comforting for pre wedding jitters. If there was a 6th star, I would have given it!

The photos were beautiful with this stunning outdoor venue.The prices of the packages were very reasonable compared to other venues in the area with a beautiful outdoor venue. My husband and I plan to visit and stay at the B&B in the future 😊

eremony, everyone was so willing to help make our day perfect. I am from the Hampton Roads, so wanted to have our wedding in the area. Being states away we were able to get everything done with ease. The venue is beautiful and allows for many beautiful photos. We were able to stay the night in one of the rooms and wake up to an amazing breakfast! Thank you so much for everything Petie, Phil, and Shannon. Thank you for making our day magical. When we are back in town looking for a get away we will definitely be back!

There was plenty of room for our 140 guests to dance, for kids to play and run around, and a bridal prep room that fit our needs perfectly. My husband and I went with the Magnolia package and loved loved LOVED the breakfast that Petie and her husband cooked for us the next morning. We are looking forward to going back every year to celebrate our anniversary.

rience was perfect. Petie and Phil put their entire hearts into this B&B, and it is apparent in everything they do. First of all, I called Ms. Petie in a panic because I hadn't seen any other places in Virginia Beach so stunning, so romantic, and with such character. I knew it was going to be Valentine's Day weekend coming up and was so afraid that someone would have booked it first. When Petie took my call and I explained to her my situation (short-notice bump-up of wedding plans between two military members) she was SO kind and accommodating. Luckily, no one had booked it yet and she was so patient with me while my husband and I were trying to get all of our planning together. The outdoor area where our wedding was is simply gorgeous. There is a covered pavilion which has lights, tables, seating, and shutters. There are lights strung up for nighttime events. The lattice altar is elegant, natural, and charming, and there is a little foresty area off to the side for photo opportunities. Petie and Phil helped us with event insurance, getting set up, getting everyone parked and welcomed, and helping us break down afterward. We were SO taken care of during a time that would have been otherwise incredibly stressful! For the room itself...."Opulent" doesn't do it justice. It is a lovers' paradise. The bed was plush and lovely. The decor was all chosen with love and a sense of home and adventure. The bathroom was like a palace with its stone accents and jacuzzi tub. We felt like we had vacationed in Europe for our honeymoon, for MUCH less money! Petie and Phil treated us to two amazing mornings of the most divine breakfasts -- in COURSES! First a fresh fruit course of our choice, then the main dish (they made us crab omelettes and crepes!! CREPES, GUYS!!), and a little bit of dessert. Dessert...for breakfast?! CRAB, even, for breakfast? Oh my goodness. So delectable. They go shopping the night before for the freshest ingredients and ask you what you would like, and when you would like breakfast. (They were incredibly kind to us after we slept in too late the first morning, and kept the food warm for us) Elegantly served, freshly and lovingly prepared. The common area is built and decorated with just as much love and character as the rooms. Wherever you look, there is something beautiful and homey to see and add to the feeling of being somewhere truly magical.....made just for you!! (Having only two rooms in this bed and breakfast seems to allow Petie and Phil to focus their hospitality perfectly on one or two couples. We were lucky enough to be the only couple there at the time, so we were SO spoiled!!!) The atmosphere of the building and grounds as a whole....there isn't a more perfect balance of "exquisite" and "home" than this. That was exactly what we wanted for our wedding and a few days of honeymoon...a completely romantic escape. For the price point of both the wedding ceremony and the room reservation itself.....you're not going to find a better value. The attention Petie and Phil pay not only to every detail of the room, the facility, the meals, but to you as a guest....out of this world. Please do yourself a favor and spend time here either getting married or spending time with your love. We will be back in the future.

Family and friends are still talking about how beautiful it was. You would never know all that is tucked behind that little yellow building. Our day was just perfect. Thank you Petie and Phil!!!

Petie was absolutely wonderful, she was trying her best to accommodate so that our wedding could go on as planned, but mother nature said no and a few more trees fell preventing access on the already flooded road. We plan to come back next year on our anniversary to get those photos done and hopefully stay the night!!

d relaxed, we never had to worry about anything related to the venue the entire weekend and leading up to the wedding. We loved that we could have both our ceremony and reception at one location, especially with 150 guests (extremely rare find in the Virginia Beach area)! The natural backdrop of the trees and flowers made for a beautiful setting that is stunning in pictures. Another thing we loved was the fact that we didn't have to rent tables and chairs from an outside source because it was included in the venue cost! Cassie is a wonderful event coordinator and made me feel at ease through the entire planning process, she was awesome with communicating everything we needed to know. I stayed at the B&B the night before the wedding and I was treated like family, and the breakfast the morning of the wedding was so delicious! Everyone joked that they had never seen a bride eat so much the morning of her wedding, but I couldn't pass up such a delicious breakfast! It was great being able to have our rehearsal there the night before and to wake up at the venue and not worry about being late to my own wedding. We wish we could give more than 5 stars, Country Villa allowed us to have a perfect and beautiful wedding! We will definitely stay for a weekend at the B&B in the future!!!

returned for our 9 month anniversary. The back part of their property is so spacious and beautiful. We had a small wedding, just about 30 attendees, but so many more could have comfortably fit. The alter location was in just the right place for guest access, a nice long bridal march, and easy access to the reception area. It is also close enough to town that all of our vendors (in va beach and chesapeake ) delivered at no extra charge. On our return trip last weekend Petie greeted us at the door for our retreat. She had the Emily room all ready to go for us, including a bottle of wine. :) she made us feel right at home. She even showed us improvements they had made ovet the past year. In the morning breakfast was served by the pool! The food was made to order and every bite delicious. Petie and Phil thank you. We can't wait to see you again soon.

g process and the day of. Not only are Petie & Cassie wonderful, but the venue is absolutely stunning! There's so much space and it's gorgeous! An incredible outdoor venue for any event! It was the perfect location for our shoot and I'm just hoping to coordinate a real wedding there soon!

other place in the world! This was a destination wedding for us, and Petie and Phil were wonderful. They were able to help us get everything we wanted, or needed, to make our day perfect. Our ceremony was held at the Altar located on the spacious yet very private grounds. The trees, sun, and the landscaping made for great pictures. There is a grand pavilion that can fit many people if that’s the type of wedding you are choosing. We decided on small. Our day also included Cake, Champagne, Flowers, Photographer and Limo. Everything I could have possibly wanted! The cake was delicately decorated the flowers fresh, full and beautiful. The photographer was so much fun! I laugh every time I think of him. After pictures around the lovely villa, we drove just a few minutes to Sandbridge Beach for more pictures! Dinner was quiet and romantic and of course delicious. It truly was a fairytale wedding day! There is nothing that we would have changed or nothing else we could have asked for! We are from Pittsburgh and could not have managed any of this without Petie and Phil!
