Wedding planning can be stressful and when I was referred to Cover it with Class I was hopeful that working with them would help ease this stress, but I was mistaken. First off, the communication was not what I would have expected from a “profe...ssional.” She was often late and unprepared to our meetings and didn’t seem to value our time. Better yet, she was over two(?) hours late to set up for our wedding! Upon arriving extremely late, she had an awful attitude towards me on my wedding day minutes before I was getting ready to walk down the aisle. Her excuse for arriving late was that she had a fully packed schedule, which makes me believe that she is not good at time management and overloaded herself.
Flowers are one of the most important visuals of a wedding and I was very saddened to see the sloppy craftsmanship of all the flowers. She didn’t listen to my preference, she used cheap alternatives for the main bouquets, and lastly, I was not able to salvage any of the arrangements for keepsakes because they wilted shortly after the ceremony. To top it off, she forgot to create my throw bouquet and argued that it was not included even though we had talked about multiple times and it was on the quote.
The throw bouquet was not the only thing missing. There were multiple decorative accoutrements missing, such as candles, a backdrop curtain, and greeneries. We had paid for these items and when we contacted her after the wedding to get a refund, she continued to argue with us. It took months of back and forth after the wedding to finally get a refund which was less than what we thought was appropriate. She also refused to take any responsibility for the above and other mistakes.
Your wedding is supposed to be one of the happiest days of your lives and dealing with decorators and florists should not be on your priority list; we unfortunately had to constantly be on the phone with her throughout the day of the wedding. We understand that things can happen and not everything will go as planned, but what we had to deal with in regards to Cover it with Class is not acceptable and we would not recommend them to anyone.
