We used Cozy for a reception prior to our wedding. The food was outstanding and the prices were very reasonable. The staff was very attentive. The day of the event was very easy for us because Cozy took care of everything very well.

Cozy catering did a fantastic job with our wedding! Amy was very organized and professional. Her experience and demeanor put us at ease when we were trying to squeeze all of our guests into the dining space. She also handled last minute requests and questions very well during the dinner and she was very kind to our guests. Mark was present for our rehearsal the day before and the wedding ceremony. He very patiently walked us through everything and helped everything go smoothly the day of. The Cozy staff were great, setting up everything efficiently and even preparing us a plate of hors d'oeuvres ahead of time so we could eat. Most importantly, the food was delicious! All of our guests had high compliments for the food. They were also accommodating of gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan dietary restrictions, so all of guests could enjoy it. We cannot recommend them enough!

Overall, our experience working with Cozy was great! The food was delicious. Mark was easy to work with and was very accommodating to our guest dietary restrictions and special request. We paid for an open bar and had one bartender for 75 guests. The bar was a bit slow serving drinks and a few guests mentioned they waited in line for a drink for over 20 minutes. Although the bar was a bit slow making drinks the bartender was very personable and friendly with all of our guest! The only big complaint that I have is the u hall that was on property. Mark told me the day before the wedding that they could not get the usual oven that they bring to events. They had to bring a larger oven that was put on the u hall by a forklift. He told me that they would be able to park the u hall away from the ceremony and tent so guest would not even see it. Unfortunately, day of due to power requirements they were not able to park the u hall where we discussed the day before. The u hall had to be parked directly next to our cocktail hour. It was an issue during cocktail hour and our ceremony photos have the u hall in the background. Overall, a great cater to work with and I would recommend Cozy to any bride looking to have great food at a fair price!

I never make bad reviews about a company mainly because I don’t like to bash people, but when it comes to people paying all of this for a wedding I guess the truth needs to come out.
Last Saturday we got married and we went through cozy catering and everything seemed great at the time and I got along really well with the wedding coordinator until a day before my wedding when called me up and told me she could no longer coordinate my wedding due to having Covid which I completely understood. She then told me she had just hired someone who was new to the team and it was her first wedding ever and she wasn’t sure if she was going to be able to do it all and if I could please be there along with my bridesmaids to help out. I was appalled because it was not my job to do anything nor my bridesmaids jobs to do anything. She then proceeded to keep calling me the day before and the day of the wedding to please make sure someone is there. So while my bridal party and myself were getting dressed I had to ask friends and family to please come and help set up before the wedding. That was the first mistake that this place made.
The day before my wedding for the rehearsal the day of coordinator was suppose to be there to tell us what to do and never showed up so luckily we had someone who had already gotten married to help us!
Next the day of coordinator that had just started working told two of my bridesmaids to give her some of their flowers off of the bouquet for the wedding cake and said I approved it which wasn’t true at all.
We also were told to ask our guests to see if they wanted chicken or beef so we did and the day of the wedding they were giving people both meats and some of the guests weren’t able
to eat.
Next, our bartenders ran out of alcohol and the first two alcohols that were to go was Gin and tequila which was needed for both of our signature drinks so instead of having a margarita with tequila in it, they put vodka in it instead.
Instead of having a great wedding it turned out to be an absolute shit show. We paid all of this money just for our guests to not to be able to enjoy themselves or eat and for myself to have what I thought was going to be a stress free day to having to worry about everything that I shouldn’t have to worry about.
Needless to say I won’t be referring anyone to use cozy catering company and if you do use it I hope you have a better experience than me.

Cozy Caterers, pre-pandemic, was a company that could do everything for your events -- cater it, bartend it, provide servers, and provide rentals. Their staff was friendly and accommodating, and they were helpful and professional. That, unfortunately, did not continue to be our experience with Cozy. We had to replace their services that were originally quoted to us in 2020 with two separate vendors mere weeks before our 2021 wedding at an excessive extra cost to us. We were not refunded on our deposit despite their inability to perform the services originally quoted to us.

I am sorry you feel this way, we were hired for a bring your own bar service and wait...
staff for use with another company (Guilded tomato and PVD donuts) as well as help you secure rentals. We were not hired to cater your wedding. With the pandemic staff is very hard to come by and unfortunately we are very short staffed. We are not a staffing service. And it became impossible to provide staff only. We did all the work for the rentals and just transferred to your name. We worked for 2 years with you with multiple changes and yes the $200 deposit was forfeited. It is in the contract if you cancel the deposit is forfeited. When we said we could not supply the waitstaff for another company, your event planner sent me an email that our services were no longer needed for the bar as well. We did not know our bar services were being cancelled until we received an email two weeks prior to event. I apologize for the miscommunication and the confusion. Shortage of waitstaff is out of our control, our whole industry is suffering. Again I am sorry for any discomfort this may have caused and I am sure despite the mishap that was COVID related you had a beautiful wedding!

My son is a Providence firefighter and his bride a teacher at Lasalle High School, both deserving of a fairytale wedding(as all couples are)!! They were married July of 2019 at the Towers in Narragansett and Cozy Caterers was his caterer. I am a wedding planner and coordinator as well so....that being said I am particular and a bit OCD about weddings. I cannot express enough gratitude for making my sons wedding amazing. Flowers by Roland did a beautiful job, Corey Young was our DJ,,loved him!! All in all I was a very happy mom and was able to attend my sons wedding instead of tending to it because Mark had it all under control!! Thank you so much!

I have given myself 1 year to reflect on my experience with Cozy Caterers. They catered our New Year's Eve wedding in 2016. I wish I had cancelled and gone with someone else.
In short: There was no pre-planning outreach done from Mark Brown, Cozy's director, to me leading up to our wedding date, and my friend/colleague who was acting as our day-of point person spent over two weeks negotiating our relationship with Cozy Caterers. After our wedding, the Cozy's owner first seemed sympathetic with we met with him (at his other business, Wes's Rib House) and told us that Mark's actions were "uncharacteristic," but then informed us later in writing that we did not receive any prep or meetings from Cozy because we had a station menu and not a course-by-course menu. Then, the company’s site blogged about our wedding (with cell phone photos taken by their staff) without our consent or knowledge the same week we met with the owner.
In addition to writing to the owner to confirm that we were requesting a resolution about our concerns, as we had not heard from him a month after meeting with him, I wrote a second letter requesting the removal of the blog post. The post was taken down without apology or acknowledgement. I only received a response back from the owner saying that we were getting nothing back for our experience and lack of prep. In fact, if we left any sort of review that ventured into slander, we should expect legal action. How fun!
What do I ultimately wish I would have done? I could and should have looked around for a replacement caterer at 90 days, when I originally tried to reach out to Cozy Caterers a year after booking and received a dismissive response. I didn’t feel good about not having a dialogue with a vendor who was taking over 40% of our budget. Everyone I spoke to told me it was abnormal, and by the time I knew it was truly wrong, I I felt it was too late to rebook. It wasn't. You CAN find someone else.

Please pass to the President, I respectfully would ask for a refund. Please read the below review I am ready to post. I do not wish to talk to Mark B about it. Cozy caterer's did our wedding this weekend. We were extremely disappointed and frankly embarrassed with the food quality, service and the lack of sanitary practices. The "cook", servers, and coordinator were sweating like crazy, constantly wiping their sweaty heads with their hands, no hair nets or gloves were used while handling any of the food. The bread was extremely stale, you couldn't even chew it, I'm assuming it was previously frozen. There were many guests, including us (the B&G) that were never asked if we wanted any of the passed horderves. I don't know if they didn't have enough or if they just kept serving the same guests. The Italian station food was all par-cooked or previously cooked and frozen then re-heated in ovens in the garage. GROSS is being polite. The chicken parm was like cardboard, The bride and groom were last to eat, no one ever waited on us once all night, no special treatment whatsoever. The beverage service left a lot to be desired, we supplied all of the booze and they were pouring tiny pours, forcing guests to needlessly get up and wait in line, many times.(my guess is this was done on purpose in an attempt to raise their tip amount). The crew was supposed to clean and remove all of the linens, organize the area for the rental equipment to be picked up by their partner vendor. They left trash, cups, napkins and leftover food all over the tent. They were supposed to return all the un-used alcohol to the garage and secure it. Unbeknownst to us, They left it all outside in the tent, which was extremely careless. Any of the neighborhood kids could have gone in the tent overnight or the next morning and there could have been a very serious issue. When it was time to wrap up, not one person from the crew came to find either of us to discuss the night, any issues, ensure items were secure, nothing, they all just screwed. Several of us witnessed some of the staff drinking, which I assumed was normal but should not happen. NEVER AGAIN!

Cozy just catered our 160 guest wedding and absolutely crushed it! We went with the BBQ buffet and also had an ice cream bar and late night sliders. You can feel completely confident that Christine will make your day everything you want it to be and more! Christine and all the staff at Cozy went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! Christine met with my husband and I multiple times to go over the menu, she really took the time to get to know us and figure out what we wanted, she even made changes right up to the day of the wedding! On the day of the wedding she delivered! I could always see where she was and she was right on top of making sure everyone got what they needed. Now the food... our guests raved about the food! Such a beautifully displayed array of food, they even made a custom sign for our ice cream bar! Absolutely hands down the most perfect experience with Christine and Cozy Caterers!

My husband and I used Cozy Catering for our recent August wedding. From the start, Mark made the process enjoyable. We had an initial meeting to learn the basic details about the catering packages and Mark was able to provide helpful input on the rest of the vision for my wedding, as it was in the early stages. From there we had our tasting, putting down the deposit then communicated throughout the months via email or over the phone. We met about a week before and Mark soothed my nerves about everything coming together in time. They were very flexible with changes made up until a few days before. The day of the wedding Mark and his staff were a great help running the show, working closely with our DJ/band and the innkeeper at our venue. The linens were beautiful, the food was good, the dessert table was set up just how I imagined and most importantly, our guests were very happy.

Mark from the start was very easy to work with and very accommodating. He did much more than just cater our wedding. He gave us options for menu, great ideas overall for the day, and acted as my day of coordinator for us. The food we excellent and all of the guests enjoyed food experience. Mark was easy to get in contact with, I called him several times in a panic and emailed him a bunch of questions, he always replied quickly was assured me of what I needed help with. We were very happy with Mark and his team and would recommend them to anyone for any event they may need a cater for. Thank you again Mark and team for making my day better than what we had pictured!

We worked with Christine on our welcome bbq (all of our guests were out of town, so our wedding was really a weekend-long event!) Christine was incredibly professional, and helped us make our cook out wildly successful! All of the details, from Hebrew national hot dogs to special potato salad for the vegetarians, were executed flawlessly. Also, we had a light on/off drizzle at the beginning of the evening, and the staff handled the indoor/outdoor transition seamlessly. We had the All-American spread, and our guests raved about it.

Cozy Caterers helped to make our wedding a beautiful and elegant event! We had about 5 months to fully plan our wedding, and Mark and his staff went out of their way to help us in any way that they could. Whatever questions we had, they were there to help, and we relied heavily on Mark's knowledge of the venue to help us choose our decorations. I feel like we got so much more than "just a caterer."
Our menu was delicious. We offered chicken, pork, and a vegetarian option that was also vegan and gluten free! Our guests were thrilled with their dinners and loved that Cozy used seasonal vegetables to go with our October wedding.
A couple of minor mishaps occurred the day of our wedding, but nothing out of the ordinary. Certainly nothing any of our guests would have even noticed. There was a lot going on with tons of details, so I expected to have a couple of things go awry. Mark and his staff were there to do what they could and were only too happy to correct it in any way that they could.
I was looking for an authentic "Rhode Island" fall experience for my guests, and Cozy delivered! I highly recommend them!

Mark Brown and his team at Cozy Caterers were amazing from start to finish.
We began planning our weekend of wedding events a year in advance, and Mark was never rattled by all the shifts in schedules and events. We ultimately ended up with a brunch/reception for just over 30 guests, and he handled everything from the tent, tables, and chairs all the way to food, flatware, and the cake.
And speaking of the cake, it was truly awesome! We asked for plain and unassuming on the outside, but flamingly rainbow queer on the inside, and Cozy Caterers didn't disappoint. In addition to being just what we'd hoped for, it was also moist and delicious.
Overall, the food was plentiful and tasty, and Mark and his team did a fantastic job of handling our gluten-free/vegan/vegetarian dietary restrictions.
Our server, Mike, was kind and respectful; he had a great sense of humor with regard to some of our more quirky guests.
Working with Cozy Caterers was a totally easy and stress-free experience, and we plan on using them again in a few years for my parents' 50th anniversary.
Thanks to all!

They catered our wedding, food was so so. Staff was poorly dressed, arguing outside with each other before the reception. No ice in our tea and lemonade. No fruit in either, as we had in our contract, which we paid for. Candy station was sparse and unattractive. Called Mark, but never received a call or apology for the staffs mistakes, never mind a refund. Sorry we used them for one of the most important days of our life, our wedding.

Mark and his team at Cozy Caterers are perfection! We initially contacted Mark because he is a recommended vendor on our venue's website, gay-friendly, and had a specific vegetarian menu on his website. When we met with him and had our tasting, we knew he had to book him, and we are so happy we did! Mark was a huge part in making my wife and I's wedding day so perfect. Everyone at our wedding cannot stop raving about Mark and his team, and what a wonderful job he did. A few already want to book him for their future events!
My wife and I went with an all vegetarian menu as we are both vegetarians. We had a few guests tell us prior they were worried it wouldn't be a filling meal with no meat, but afterwards told us how amazing the food was, and they definitely weren't hungry at the end of dinner! The food was absolutely scrumptious!!
We also opted for the Del's Lemonade before our ceremony, and had Iced Tea and Strawberry Lemonade during the reception. I would absolutely recommend getting these! The guests loved having something to sip on while they waited for the ceremony. We had a cash bar for the reception, so it was also nice to have the Iced Tea and Strawberry Lemonade as an alternate for our guests to drink without having to break out their wallet.
Mark also helped us out when our baker had a family emergency a few days before our wedding. Within one phone call to Carina e Dolce's Bakery in Warwick, RI, our crisis was averted and we had our cake and cupcakes handled. And they were absolutely delicious!!
I was a bit wary handing over my control the day of our wedding, but I had nothing to fear! Mark understood our vision 100%. When I walked in, I was so excited to see how he decorated and set everything up. It was better than I ever could have imagined.
Mark definitely went above and beyond when he fixed the bustle on my dress! A few loops broke, but him and my bridesmaids worked together to fix it.
Definitely hire Mark and his team if you want a perfect event!!

They were great in the beginning, was 40 person wedding. Mark didn't do the job because he had a larger event. His staff was unorganized, late with serving, not enough appetizers to go around, no ice or fruit in iced tea/lemonade. Pasta station was one chef with two 8" skillets. The worst thing was the candy bar that we added. The pictures he had previously on the website showed beautiful displays of full size candy bars, glass bowls of M&M's, Reese pieces, etc. our table was thrown together with orange jelly slices, kisses, skittles in individual bags( we had 8 oz. mason jars, no bagged candy could fit right). Pixie sticks, again doesn't fit. The candy tubs were from the Christmas tree shop. If I wanted that cheap I wouldn't have paid 3.95$ per guest! I took a picture emailed Mark from my reception and didn't hear from him until I posted a review on his site. His response was he didn't want to bother us and was sorry we were disappointed, yes we were! No explanation was given, no trying to rectify the issue after the fact, just got his money and we were stuck. Food was nothing spectacular either, pasta was the only good part.

These guys are everything an event needs when it comes to food and rentals. I'm a very budget oriented planner and was a little skeptical that we could achieve the quality of product and service for the price (feeding 50 people plus tent/table/chair rental for 1500). Needless to say everyone was blown away by how amazing the food tasted (we ordered the lemon caper chicken and two versions of the tomato basil pasta as well as roast veggies and sweet potato casserole).
Not only was the food amazing, but the service was above par in all aspects. Mark is the fairy godfather of weddings, connecting you to the best of the best in New England, while also helping you to achieve the vision you may or may not have realized you wanted (I mean this in the best way possible - he's an awesome sounding board). Through him I met Andrea (Carina e Dolce) who made us the most amazing cake/cupcakes!
I loved working with these awesome folks and could not have had such a magical wedding without them. They delivered everything on time and were a pleasure to deal with when it came to payments. If you have the opportunity to use them, go for it! You will not be disappointed!

Cozy Caterers catered and provided excellent service under our tent wedding during a hurricane. They were able to serve delicious food and also had accommodated extra guest. Polite, courteous and affordable, they work with what you ask for and give you ideas to match any style. I would recommend highly for an outdoor event.

Cozy Caterers fit our budget perfectly and Mark handled everything with professionalism. Thank you so much!!!
