cause of the rain. The getting ready space for the bride is comfortable and had everything you could need in case of an emergency. I loved that the dining and the dancing areas were separated so that there was no shuffling tables and hasty cleanup and everyone was able to get to the dancing right the way. Our planners Katie and Riley were fantastic. They both were helpful every step of the way helping us pick little details and finding us ways to save money. On the day of Katie reorganized the ceremony in 20 minutes and did it seamlessly. Fatima was our banquet capitan and took great care of us checking in just often enough to be attentive but not annoying. We went with recommend desert vendor (Sugarplum shoppe) and ordered cupcakes and vegan chocolate covered strawberries. Both were to die for! The cupcakes were perfect size, great frosting and filling, not messy and incredibly delicious. The strawberries were great as well, they used oat milk chocolate to accommodate our vegan and GF guests. The not so good: My partner and I did not love our food. It was just ok. When we toured Katie told us that the chef at Craftwood peak was the best one in the region, so we were excited about our apps and meal. The apple brie philo kisses had the tiniest little pieces of brie in them and the chicken and waffles tasted like frozen waffles and baked pop corn chicken. My partner's chicken was tough and my roast beef was overcooked. The sides were fine. I liked the number of salad options. Maybe we were unlucky with our portions because multiple guests raved about how good the food was. We did not do fully open bar, but instead opted for wine and beer package with a special drink that we brought to the venue with their approval. Unfortunately, they did not display the drink for our guests and majority of it went unused. They never gave us back the drinks that were not consumed. Overall I would recommend the Craftwood Peak venue. The price was great, the planning was easy and the day of felt effortless.

great care of us. Even though we were planning from out of state, they made the process easy and made sure everything was covered. There were many extra little touches that really stood out – from a printed photo at our sweetheart table of us just after getting married to being sent off at the end of the night with an extra meal and cake. We especially loved the 5 minutes to ourselves just after getting married with a spread of appetizers and our favorite drinks. Our coordinators, Katie and Natalie, were a joy to work with and so on top of everything. They really made our wedding day go smoothly and allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our day.

tic and Natalie made sure everyone was able to navigate the meal process. Riley worked his tail off during the open bar...great hustle to keep everyone served and topped off. Our guests were extremely complimentary on the food and the attentive staff. Food was definitively better than any wedding reception food we have ever tasted. All of the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was done correctly, without any stress on the bride and groom. We will give recommendations to any of our friends that are looking for an amazing venue for their event! Hands down the best place to have a function!

lly felt like home. Katie our event coordinator went above and beyond when my husband forgot to put my vows in his coat pocket. Katie ran to the groom's suite, found my vows, and saved the day. The food was DELICIOUS. We received so many compliments on the food. The service staff during the reception were so attentive and kind. Everyone had a smile on their face and was there to help. DJ Maggie K who was recommended through the venue was awesome! She knew exactly how to curate the perfect atmosphere for our perfect day. Everyone came up to us and could not say enough positive things about our wedding. Thank you to the staff at Craftwood Peak for making our special day the absolute best.

ue is really picturesque. We wanted an adventure / rustic mountain theme and the area definitely captured that with the mountains in the back and the cute cottages. The photographer had an abundant amount of backgrounds on the premises to utilize. - We can't ding Wedgewood Weddings for the hiccups that occurred during the planning process as I never heard of a perfectly smooth wedding. Their process really streamlined the planning aspects & when there was requests/corrections to be made, they definitely took the feedback and fixed it! - ***We really liked that they had vendors built into the packages, especially for a decision paralysis person like myself. We utilized the DJ, Florist, & Cake vendors (which were all wonderful!) and opted out of the photographer. The advantage is they are familiar with the space so the day of setup was seamless. - Instead of having a single planner, you have a team of planners that pick up the meetings & questions you may have. The advantage of this is the response time is quick. The disadvantage we observed was they might not be as intimately familiar with your specific details at a given moment; however, that did NOT become a factor the day of but something to be aware of. - Requests during the planning phases took a bit more nudging from our end for the requests to be honored. For example, they do not offer private tastings and had to insist given we were not impressed with the food offered at their quarterly preview for couples and food is our top priority. They finally did offer which helped us feel confident with our menu choices. The chef (John) also went above and beyond to take care of our guests with more particular dietary restrictions (Vegetarian, Vegan, GF, & nightshade allergy). - ***Speaking of above and beyond, my goodness the entire staff was amazing! I know I stated that the entire process was not perfect but the day certainly was; they captured every detail we had requested, even tedious ones like tying twine & stuffing rosemary as part of the guest napkin display. A large chunk of guests had commented on how detailed & attentive everything was. - ***They were super attentive & anticipated our needs throughout the entire day: Natalie (our banquet captain) was on a mission to find us periodically (as you bounce around everywhere) & one time, when I had asked for a water, she already had one prepared for me in her hands. Katie (our ceremony coordinator) flawlessly orchestrated the ceremony, even when more than half of our wedding party missed the dress rehearsal. I also absolutely loved the personalized congrats cards from the both of them-- I could tell they were invested in making the wedding shine. - Max guest count for this venue is 150. We did max out and the venue felt a little congested at times, particularly during the ceremony & traditional reception events (dinner, cake cutting, etc). However, the venue was fantastic once guests could free roam as there were many places for guests to hang out.

favorite thing about Craftwood Peak (other than its cute charm) is that they had packages that included pretty much everything that you could need and add-ons that you didn't even know you wanted until you saw it! The site manager is also phenomenal and will take care of anything possible within her power. Kayla is amazing, hands down. She talked with my dad about the contract down to the minute details, which in itself, would make me choose Craftwood Peak over and over again! The planning meeting is so seamless (shoutout to Katie) and is where you make the bulk of your decisions - they have all the color samples laid out for you and walk you through your wedding. Of course, there are a couple more meetings where adjustments can be made, but Katie stayed with us the whole time! On the day of, you have an attendant/"captain" (shoutout to Riley & Natalie) who stays with you from the moment you get on site until they finish packing you up and sending you home! Neither of us had any worries on our wedding day, even with the blizzard that surprised us all! Our bartender Helen was a hit all around as well!! She was amazing and made sure that we were supplied with drinks, but helped keep them out of pictures, which was amazingly thoughtful!! Also, their preferred vendors are amazing!! Our florist Dawn (Dawn's Creations) was the literal best - I couldn't have chosen a better florist if I had tried. Our DJ Will (DJ Maestro) changed things last minute for us and gave us a special last song with just the two of us at the night's end. But the real winner was our photographer/videographer. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Dan and Jeremiah (New Concept Photography) are!

A special thanks to all of the staff: Katie, you exemplify top tier service perfectly and were a joy to work with. Natalie, you had to make a couple of things happen on the fly and you did amazing! tend to be very picky and slow to make decisions, but Rachel and Alex helped me figure out my vision and were super flexible throughout the entire planning and set up process. The whimsical and cozy atmosphere of the venue was exactly what we were looking for, and Rachel, Alex, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make our day extra special. Neither of us had to worry about anything on our special day. One of the things we loved most about booking the venue was that it came with a variety of services, including catering, DJ, bar, and some decor, which made the planning process much easier. We even got to use the cute little cottage space to get ready before leaving for the ceremony. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience at Craftwood Peak and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, unique, and stress-free wedding venue. We felt that the team at Craftwood truly cared about us and helped us achieve the wedding we envisioned.

Helen was the bartender who kept everyone happy with a full glass with a great attitude and our servers Natalie, Riley and Whitney were efficient and gracious, AJ kept things moving efficiently and Chef John did not dissappoint! timeline and decorations with Rachel were very thorough. The facility was beautiful, and the food choices were excellent. My favorite part is that the facility has two floors so as some of the guest danced the night away on the second floor, the other guests could socialize in the lower level or outside by the firepit. If you want a unique wedding experience in the Colorado area close to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs, then I would highly recommend this facility.

that we visited, and they set the bar so high, that despite looking at several venues all over the state of CO; we couldn't picture getting married anywhere else. Brian and Dave were very professional, responsive, and accommodating. Throughout our wedding ceremony and reception, the entire staff made sure that everything ran smoothly and ensured that my husband and me had enough to eat! Our guests couldn't stop raving about Brian's cooking. You can definitely tell that it was prepared by a veteran/seasoned chef. The venue and the location were picturesque. We enjoyed having everything at one location, the centralization made the whole day stress free for us. The Bridal Cottage and the Groom's Den were a unique addition that we didn't see at any other venues that we've looked at, especially the Bridal Cottage. The ceremony backdrop with the waterfalls, the pergola, and the breathtaking views of the mountains with Pikes Peaks provided an atmosphere which made us feel like we were in a secluded mountain hideaway. Compared to other competitors, the Craftwood Inn was a fantastic value and worth every penny. We wish we could celebrate all over again, and we would recommend their services to anyone who asks!

We went with their standard decor, which worked perfectly for us, and went well for photos. Brian and his team is flexible about the potential for indoor or outdoor, letting me even decide the morning of. I had my fairytale wedding, and did not feel stressed or concerned the day of, which I am certain is in part to how prepared the Craftwood Inn was for our special day. Our guests, my husband, and I were met with friendly and helpful service throughout the evening. Could not have asked for more!

kground. Garden of the Gods is right down the road and it made for amazing post-reception pictures. Brian was incredibly easy to work with, from the initial booking to the to-go boxes for our cake. 😃 We were coming in from out of state, so finalizing everything had to be done as efficiently as possible to minimize the number of trips needed before the wedding. His vendor partners are fabulous and they all work well together - our planning was finished in a day! Selecting the menu was the most difficult part of the process because EVERYTHING sounded phenomenal. I can't tell you how many compliments we received on our selections during the reception. One of my aunts, who has attended her fair share of weddings, said that Brian's food was by far the best she's ever had at a reception. He made sure that my husband's vegetarian aunt was taken care of as well, with her own vegetarian entree to go along with the buffet options. Throughout the big day, Brian also made sure to check in with the bridal party to see if there was anything else he could do to make the day go by smoothly, all the while making the meal I spoke of earlier! The day went off without any issues and I know Brian had A LOT to do with the flawless execution.

was simply amazing (or friends still rave about it). The upstairs area was perfect for our guests and had room for a photo booth (must have for me) and plenty of space on the dance floor for partying all night! If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would.

favors, champagne toast and I'm sure I'm missing something because it was almost all inclusive besides the flowers and the photographer. It was all at a very affordable price too! Our wedding was everything I had imagined and more. The food was splendid and the DJ was awesome, he played all of the music we wanted. We did do a daytime wedding which made it much cheaper because with an evening wedding you have to buy out the whole restaurant. We ended up staying next door at the bed and breakfast and moved the festivities there around 4:30pm. Anywhoo, if you are recently engaged definitely check this place out!

Amazing food. What we received for the price (location, food, alcohol, venue,dj) would have have cost us double else where. We loved having our wedding and reception here as it was such a quaint and unique venue in the mountains.
