Denise did a wonderful job with our ceremony. She was so kind to help us when we planned a wedding within 6 weeks! She made sure every detail was perfect and completely personalized our ceremony.

Denise was amazing! She spent time with us before the wedding so she could get to know us personally and was able to make our ceremony about "US". She was helpful with every detail. Denise was amazing to work with! She was super attentive and really has a way with words. I felt like she really took the time to make our ceremony special and about me and my husband. I had a bit of an unorthodox ceremony that included a memory lantern for my grandpa being walked down the aisle. Denise did an amazing job and incorporated that into our ceremony beautifully. All of her readings and our vows were perfect for us. She was super professional and informative. Any questions you have she will answer and make sure your needs are met on your big day. I cannot say enough positive things about her. I highly recommend her! She was amazing.

Due to COVID restrictions, we had to cancel our wedding... however, Denise worked with us to get our refund and she was super responsive which it really helps in a situation like the one we were in. Before COVID, she was amazing to work with. She walked us through the whole process and she made us feel soooo excited about our ceremony (even more than what we were!) We recommend her 100% and it so sad we won't be able to have her marry us. We were really looking forward to her service.

I hired Denise from afar. I live in Tucson and my niece's wedding was in Michigan, and my niece lives in Calif. I had intended to conduct the ceremony myself, but due to COVID, we weren't able to travel. Denice was so sensitive to the fact that I was missing out on the experience of officiating at my favorite niece's wedding. She incorporated the little personal ceremonial text I wrote, added to it in a most wonderful way, worked closely with my niece, and then when an emergency popped up - she acted in a most ethical and professional manner. Denise was a dream to work with! Extremely thoughtful, detail oriented, and very sweet. She really was perfect for our secular ceremony and everyone is still talking about how magical it was. Very awesome person! Not only that but she officiated my mom first, I had to go through with her. She did the ceremony without a stutter and had my wife and I both crying tears of joy. Denise is definitely the way to go!

Denise is fantastic! For our wedding, she took an exceptional amount of care to ensure our ceremony reflected us as a couple. She really invested herself in getting to know us and understanding what we imagined to be our ideal wedding. By the time our wedding came around we felt very confident. Denise has a calm and reassuring style, which came across both in the planning and the delivery of the ceremony. She's also a lot of fun! Denise worked with us for our wedding and did a great job! She was able to attend our rehearsal short notice, her services were affordable and she worked with us to complete our vows and printed them out on keepsake cards for us as well. We were very happy with her services!

Denise was beyond wonderful to work with! She was super sweet, kind, and helpful. With as much as Denise encourages you to make the ceremony "yours," she is also always there to assist you in your decision making and offering recommendations on what to do if you ask. Denise magically wraps up all your wants, needs, and requests into a beautiful package that she effortlessly delivers at the ceremony. I also had numerous relatives approach me after the wedding and state how wonderful our officiant was and how much they enjoyed her.

Denise is nothing short of amazing! We felt comfortable with her from the minute we met with her. She was very organized, and showed us exactly what we could expect from her. She made it easy to incorporate our own personal story into our ceremony to make it unique. At the rehearsal she was very patient and organized. Denise was the absolute best officiant we could have ever asked for. From the first day we met her to go over details of the wedding, we felt completely comfortable with her and elated with joy that we were lucky enough to find the perfect person to conduct our ceremony. Denise is extremely easy to communicate with and you can tell she absolutely loves what she does. I had made some last minute changes to my vows and speech literally the night before the wedding and Denise was still able to make the changes and print them out for me a second time and even had them neatly laminated and waiting for me at the wedding. Denise was wonderful throughout this whole process! My wedding was on 6/9/18. She always responded promptly to any emails or texts. She knew what she was doing and confidently educated us about the marriage license process. I did not want a religious ceremony and she easily adapted and gave us many options for different readings. Working with Denise was a very pleasant, stress-free experience which is so valuable to a Bride on her wedding day! In regards to the actual ceremony day, she was at the venue early, dressed very nicely, and spoke clearly for everyone to hear. Additionally, she made sure our marriage license was completed correctly and sent it in so we didn't have to worry about it as we went on our honeymoon right away! I would highly recommend her for your special day because she made mine exactly what I wanted!

Our experience with Denise shattered expectations. She was professional, organized, and worked with us to create and perform the ceremony of our dreams. Bias aside, we've been to countless ceremonies and we truly feel Denise is the best officiant we have ever experienced. If she is available on your special day, you should hire her.

Denise Shook was our officiant for our wedding on August 19th 2016. I can not put it simply just how extraordinary she was. In the months leading up to our wedding, she took time to get to know us and our personal styles, as well as the details about our relationship, and our families. Based on that information, she came up with so many beautiful ideas for our ceremony that reflected us perfectly!!. I have full faith that no one could have done it better! On rehearsal and the day of, she was very organized and well-rehearsed. She kept things organized and calm and forward-moving the whole time. Her ideas for our ceremony were personal and beautiful -- we could not be more pleased with her!!!!! She promptly replied to my search, as well as, quickly set up a time to discuss our needs for our big day. Denise spent a great deal of time getting to know me and my husband. She is very organized, creative, punctual and has a lovely disposition/personality. She gave us several creative options (religious and non-religious) to choose from for our vows & ceremony. She was very open & perceptive to make changes to the ceremony to make it as personal as possible. For our rehearsal and our big day she arrived early to our venue and was very personable with not only me and my husband, but our friends and family!! Denise spent time with me and my family prior to the ceremony as well. It was such a joy to have her connect with us! My husband was so impressed with Denise. She prepared beautiful vows for us, and it was a beautiful ceremony. If you're looking for a great wedding officiant, I highly recommend Denise Shook.

Denise went above and beyond to help create the most amazing ceremony outline for us and then performed it so perfectly! I'm sure my husband and I constantly laughing at the alter would have distracted anyone, but she just laughed along with us. From the first time meeting with Denise, we instantly connected with her and knew she would be the best person to marry us. We were so happy she accepted our invitation for the reception too!! We have the best memories of this day and couldn't be happier! Thank you, Denise!!! We love you!
