I can’t even begin to explain how amazing Lisa and her team are. I honestly cannot imagine how we would have gotten through the planning process without her. She truly made things feel easy in a very confusing and stressful time. She made our visions and dreams come through. Even through budget concerns, she was able to get us everything we could have ever asked for and more. Lisa is someone who cares deeply for her clients and adapts to each couples needs. She is beyond knowledgeable about the industry, creative, and professional. After our wedding, my wife and I often mentioned how amazing Lisa and Kelly were and how we couldn’t even begin to say how thankful we are. And to further prove how above and beyond they are: we had a food allergy incident with our vendor and while Lisa went to bat dealing with cranky food vendors and sanitizing spaces, her assistant Kelly ran through a down pouring rain storm to grab the Epipen. And they made it all feel okay and safe. I would highly recommend.

Without Lisa and the team, our wedding day would not have run as smoothly and I would absolutely not have been able to enjoy the event. Lisa is unbelievable . I originally hired another wedding planner ( pink olive - don’t do it ! ) and decided to go in another direction . I could not be more grateful that we made the decision to eliminate Pink Olive and go with Lisa . Lisa is the hardest working , down to earth, detail- oriented person you can imagine . In addition , she’s just a joy to work with . We absolutely adore her and we are so grateful to her and her team for making our wedding so incredible !!!!!

Oh my goodness I am so glad my husband and I worked with Lisa for our wedding! She was a wealth of great ideas right from our very first meeting, always super nice and very fast to respond to messages. She did so much behind-the-scenes work with our other vendors, which was huge for us since we are both busy professionals. The moment when I really thanked my lucky stars for Lisa was when we found out it was almost certainly going to rain on our wedding day. My husband and I did not have to worry about a single thing. Now that the greatest wedding of all time, dated 06/01/23, has come and gone, it is imperative that I tell you about the team behind the scenes. From the time we reached out to Lisa in 2020 up until the day of the wedding, she had made my husband and I priority. She responded in a timely manner and always kept it professional. It was always what WE wanted. Of course she’d give her expert advice, however, she made sure to get our opinions on every aspect of the planning process. Just like everything else in life, we had a budget for our special day. There were a few vendors that my husband and I were looking into who had amazing work but they were definitely outside of our budget. Lisa had a list of preferred vendors whose prices were very reasonable and we decided to contract with them. Each preferred vendor took time to get to know us and took our likes and dislikes into consideration and we loved that about them. We are so grateful for Lisa, Traci and the rest of the CCBL team for planning THE BEST day of our lives and making sure it was nothing less than PERFECT! We got sooooo many compliments on our big day from the decor to the smooth flow of the wedding day, start to finish. If you want the best for your wedding day then I recommend Lisa and her team. Have an idea of what you want for your big day, a budget that fits your financial status, and you’ll be golden with this team backing you up! We absolutely LOVE Lisa and the CCBL team and you will too!

My husband and I did not have a good experience working with Lisa. She seemed to have pretty good reviews online and we were very disappointed by our negative experience. We felt that she was pushy, sarcastic, and condescending and did not have our best interests in mind. We also felt that she was inconsistent in responsiveness (sometimes taking a few weeks to reply and other times replying immediately) and while she helped us find a few vendors (photographer, DJ, catering), we had to follow up multiple times over months with her and ultimately ended up finding several vendors ourselves (venue, hair and makeup, videographer, florist). She was also inconsistent in recommending vendors that fit our budget and in helping us establish a realistic budget in the first place. Additionally, we got the sense that she kept brushing off our smaller wedding for larger events and was not very invested in planning our wedding. We also felt that she was not on our side when we ran into issues with vendors. For example, our caterer, who had said they could do a Chinese entree (whole grilled fish) and had scheduled a tasting for us, changed the tasting menu on us last minute. Lisa unfortunately took their side and told us “nobody wants to eat that.” She did eventually talk to the caterers about it, but we wish she had more empathy and tact in this situation. It’s hard enough planning a Chinese-American wedding, and to have our planner dismiss my culture like that was upsetting. Most hurtful was Lisa’s response to our feedback. When we politely mentioned these concerns to her, instead of apologizing, she insulted me and blamed me for her behavior. While we felt that we had been nothing but friendly, patient, and accommodating in our strained relationship, she lectured me on how to be nicer to her instead! We ultimately ended our contract with her due to the many difficulties in working with her.

I’ve found myself back on Lisa’s page as I’m helping a friend plan a wedding and Lisa is our first recommendation. Lisa deserves only the most positive reviews— not only did myself and my husband work with her, but she has worked with numerous of our friends/coworkers of different backgrounds, nationalities and ethnicities. She always goes above and beyond, is extremely easy to work with, has a plethora of quality vendors she recommends, and overall makes the wedding experience SO much easier. Not only did she impress us every step of the way, but she impressed every single event planner that worked at our venue (which we booked before we hired Lisa)— I still remember having our first meeting with the at-venue coordinator and Lisa coming with her 2 inch thick binder of all the details, perfectly maintained and organized. You know you’re working with someone fab when she’s making an incredible impression not only on her clients, but on other event planning staff in the industry!

I hired Lisa to plan my 60th Birthday Bash at the New Haven Lawn Club. Lisa was simply amazing and doesn't miss a trick. She is super organized and remembers every single detail. She always has a positive attitude and always has you laughing and enjoying the process. And she works her tail off at the event. She is never sitting down or looking at her phone. She is hustling. I am a firm believer in hiring a planner for any event. A planner like Lisa takes on all the stress and responsibilities so you can enjoy the event and not have to worry. She also helps in the planning process to help make important decisions from food and beverage to design and decor. The biggest help for me was creating a budget and sticking to it. Lisa helped me find lower cost alternatives through her relationships with the best vendors in CT. Sometimes you do not realize you need an event planner until it's too late. Don't let yourself get stuck. Instead, call Lisa for a flawlessly executed event that you can actually enjoy as the host. She's THE BEST.

Lisa and her team did a fantastic job at our Jewish-Korean wedding. She’s Not only very familiar with Jewish wedding traditions that the bride wasn’t familiar with, but also eager to learn more about Korean culture. When we decided to wear the traditional Korean ‘Han Bok’ for the wedding attire, she FaceTimed us multiple times to go over the color, pattern, and overall design that works well with the wedding theme with the hanbok designer. She suggested the perfect venue with amazing prices and conditions. Her vendors - Photographers, DJ, Caterer, and even last-minute planning changes for the dinner with guests the night before the wedding are easy to work with and provide excellent results. All of our ‘out of ordinary’ questions and requests, Lisa and her team came up with creative solutions. Lisa would be the first contact for all our future significant events.

Lisa has planned many events for us in the past - but our biggest event... our wedding day! From helping us to find the vendors that fit our budget, to all of those little planning details, Lisa and her team were on it! Especially the day of the wedding - they took all of the stress out for us and gave us peace of mind knowing everything would (and did) go even smoother than we planned! Lisa was able to help us find ways to save money, and creatively design parts of our special day that we couldn't have done without her! There are literally a million reasons why working with Creative Concepts by Lisa was the best decision we've ever made. Lisa helped me plan my June 2022 wedding at Eolia Mansion. Her and her team are truly amazing. My wedding was everything I could have dreamed of and more and I literally could not have done it without her. I work off hours and she was so accommodating to my schedule during the planning process which I was very grateful for. She communicated with my vendors and organized everything on the actual day without me having to think about all the little details. I could not be more thankful for everything she’s done for me and for making my wedding a dream. I would recommend her 100x over.

CCBL helped plan our July 2022 wedding at Eolia Mansion and Lisa was amazing to work with! Lisa’s confidence and bubbly/energetic personality made me feel immediately comfortable with her. She has been in the business for awhile and has a ton of relationships with vendors. If you tell her what your vision is, she will make it come true…..from the most perfect band or DJ, to the most gorgeous and out of control flowers, to the tiny little décor details and flow of the day. I showed Lisa 1 picture and she made it a reality. She came up with the most thoughtful ideas – instead of escort cards we used bud vases, with name tags, to guide guests to their seats. And for table décor/favors Lisa suggested marble coasters and asked our calligrapher to write guest names on each. SO many of our family and friends approached us and said that every little detail of the day was perfectly executed. Lisa and her team were so easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. HIGHLY recommend!!

This is the easiest, most heartfelt, and important review I have ever written. My wedding was Saturday, September 10th and the first thing I thought about the morning after my wedding was Lisa and and she made everything look so seamless and allowed me to enjoy my day. Outside of saying yes to my husband, Lisa is the best decision I made and I don't say that lightly. The minute I met Lisa, I knew I needed her. She’s a complete powerhouse. I wanted someone focused on my husband and I, someone in my corner covering my tracks if I dropped balls, and a sounding board as I navigated a once in a lifetime event. That’s scratching the surface of what I got. She is all I could have dreamed of plus a million more things! DON'T THINK, JUST BOOK LISA! Lisa is a masterclass on professionalism, kindness, organization, crisis management, and finesse. She keeps it real, highlights things that are important, and things that you can pass on all along with a nonchalant and humorous approach. Her value came through immediately and increased every time I spoke with her. She was available for questions, guided me in making decisions, and served as an invaluable sounding board as issues arose. It doesn't matter the state I was in getting onto a call with her (anxious, stressed, sad, mad) or what was happening, I left confident and optimistic that our wedding would be a great day with her at the helm. You can not put a value on that feeling and having someone by your side in this process! With both my husband and I working full time and a venue that required us to bring in everything that day, it would have been impossible to manage every detail such as "how much electricity does each vendor require" or " the timeline of the day" while somehow remaining excited about the reason for it all, that we have found the person we want to spend the rest of our life with. Enter Lisa, who leds with empathy, while acting as your biggest advocate and lead blocker. We had an especially difficult vendor who brought me to tears on multiple occasions and could have derailed our entire event. If I had been in this alone, I would have been a basket case. She showed up direct, professional, and continued to tell us "You two are my priority, I don't care about anyone or anything else. Don't worry, I got this" and she did. To hear that during such a stressful time when you are getting pulled in a million and one different directions, is invaluable. I have tears in my eyes writing this review and thinking about how much comfort, knowledge, support, and invaluable expertise Lisa provided me. I don't know what my day or mental state would have been like without her. If you're reading this and considering hiring Lisa and a planner, the best thing you can do for yourself is hire Lisa & her team. Not only is she spectacular at her craft but truly does care about you. You'll feel it on your first call with her and it will carry through the process. Lisa was excellent to work with, everything went perfect on our wedding day. If there could be a sixth star we would give it Lisa and her team it! We loved every interaction we had with Creative Concepts by Lisa! I was hesitant about needing a wedding planner, and after hiring them.... I would never not recommend a wedding planner. Their team took our wedding to the next level and made my life so much easier. Not only is the team great at their job, they are all amazing humans! They are so nice, caring, and genuinely about you as a person. The BEST thing we did for our wedding, was hire Creative Concepts by Lisa. They helped me surprise my now husband with an awesome grooms cake, they helped make decisions about tablescape, they helped with determining proper etiquette of wedding traditions, they helped execute the most perfect reception and ceremony, the list could go on for pages!

Don’t EVER question the need for a wedding planner…even if you THINK you don’t/won’t need one…you will. More specifically get Lisa on your team ASAP! The day comes and goes so fast but I can honestly say that we were able to soak in as much as we could/enjoyed every moment and that is only because we had CCBLT. Lisa and her team were with us every step of the way, giving honest opinions and offering their creativity to make the wedding always dreamed of, come to life. If there were any concerns or decisions that seemed tough to us, Lisa always provided feedback (her wedding/event expertise is unbelievable) or solutions that made the decisions easy. I could not have made it through the covid postponement year without Lisa’s encouragement and constant updates on how to move forward-always assuring me that the special day would happen. Her positive energy and attitude are contagious! Not to mention, she is ridiculously funny! From our first conversation, it was very clear that her priority is making the couple get the day they wanted. Whatever needed to be done to do that, she was on it—always one step ahead too! Lisa and her team handled EVERYTHING the day of and if something small did go wrong..I still have no idea. It’s the little things they handled that truly let you enjoy the day (I really can’t stress that enough). My maid of honor said that she has NEVER seen or been in a wedding go as seamless as ours. There are so many different personalities Lisa had to juggle and she knew exactly how to approach each one of them and everyone loved her! On the day of our wedding, we went through a situation that does not happen often and never imagined having to deal with. Lisa handled the situation so calmly that not even the biggest thank you could express how grateful I am she was there. I could not recommend CCBLT enough! You will NOT regret it.

Hiring Lisa was the best decision my mom and I made in my entire wedding. Lisa is a dream planner: she's got the magic touch that lets her navigate every personality involved in a wedding and leave each person feeling fully satisfied; she and her team are meticulously organized and will think of every detail so you don't have to; she is wildly experienced and frequently interviewed as a wedding expert (and can pull miracles out of a hat); and above all she is a GEM because she is the Italian mother you never knew you needed who will laugh with you and give you a shoulder to cry on whenever you need. Lisa goes so far above and beyond. She helped us through not one, but TWO date changes due to covid and all of the logistical chaos that comes from coordinating that with all the vendors. She checked in on my fiance and I, and mailed us furniture (as a gift) when she heard that a covid move had left us temporarily without. She stayed up extra hours into the night (before waking again around 4am on our wedding day) to finish a last minute request I'd given her at our rehearsal dinner (thank you!!). She stepped in as our officiant (and hit it out of the park) when our original couldn't make it. She was so brilliant that our friends went out of their way to tell us and her that she was the best planner they'd ever encountered. I completely agree. Truly, look no further. I recommend her to every friend and family member I know who is getting married, and she is absolutely part of our family now. Lisa's the one that you want.

My husband and I were so lucky to have worked with Lisa for over 2 years to plan our wedding. We were originally supposed to get married in September 2020 and once the pandemic hit, Lisa was with us every step of the way keeping us updated and helping us be confident in the decision to ultimately postpone a year. Especially as a “covid couple,” Lisa was invaluable in designing and executing our perfect day. She saw the overall vision I imagined even when I couldn’t pin point exactly what I wanted. Lisa truly thinks of everything, her attention to detail is unmatched! If I could give Lisa 100 stars I would. She is so knowledgeable, so competent, so enthusiastic, so organized, so funny, and has such a "can do" attitude that I really can't imagine how my daughter's 10/2021 wedding would have happened without her. As the mother of the bride, I began looking at venues and calling caterers in 2019. In the process, it quickly became obvious to me that organizing a wedding is a monumental task and my husband and I needed help. After reading many glowing reviews, I gave Lisa a call and instantly knew based on her confident, informed answers to my questions and friendly upbeat personality that she was the planner for me. I'm so thankful that I hired her! She was always available by phone and email, and enthusiastic about meeting both in person and via zoom. She patiently answered countless questions, recommended superb vendors, and gave us great advice on (and organized) everything from floral and tent design to music, transportation, and timing. When the pandemic hit, she reached out to all our vendors and helped us change the date not once, but twice! When the officiant was unavailable at the last minute, Lisa stepped in. In the end, our daughter's wedding day was perfect. Lisa and her team were totally on top of every detail -- the bus schedules, the set up, the ceremony, the reception, and the clean up -- and put in an amazing amount of work to make sure everything happened flawlessly. I was so totally comfortable with Lisa and her team's organizational skills that I was able to relax and enjoy my daughter's wedding as if I were a guest. I wasn't worried about anything; instead, I danced, laughed, smiled, toasted, cheered, and loved every moment. If I were going to do it all again, there is no question that I would start by hiring Lisa. I highly recommend that you do the same. She is unquestionably THE BEST!

Creative Concepts by Lisa exceeded our expectations - our perfect wedding made possible by her work and creative vision. It's difficult to comprehend everything that went into our special day... Every minor detail, question, adjustment, vendor communication, etc. There really is nothing Lisa and her team didn't think of or handle with the utmost professionalism. Due to Covid-19, my wife and I were lucky to have the privilege of Lisa in our corner for 25 months. She guided us every step of the way including coordinating rehearsal the night before and logistics the day of of the wedding, There really are no words to describe our love and appreciation!

I'm not sure any words will do justice when trying to express our experience with Creative Concepts by Lisa. I am not even sure where to begin with this review. I guess we should start at the beginning. Before even getting engaged, I knew that I would hire Lisa as my wedding planner. Working in the catering and events industry I was a bride that came with high expectations and big dreams! Lisa was without a doubt the best decision I made and I would highly recommend you do the same. She is not only one of the most genuine and loving humans, she is also a badass logistical goddess and has an eye for details like no other.  When it came to wedding planning and the wedding day itself...my wife and I had 1 goal in mind....to be truly present and enjoy every moment. Hiring Lisa allowed us to do exactly that.  Lisa and her team hit the ground running vetting potential vendors and helping us to nail down our design vision. We were planning an out of state wedding but with Lisa by our side, the struggles you would anticipate having did not exist. There never came a time in our planning process where we didn't feel heard, loved and supported. Especially once the pandemic hit.  Covid-19 was a HUGE curveball that was thrown our way but we never had to face anything alone. Throughout our postponement, micro wedding (where Lisa married us) to our almost cancellation, rebooking and then finally the wedding weekend Lisa was our superhero. She handled our indecisiveness, tears, anger, fear and any other emotion that you could think of with professionalism, grace and the utmost genuine love. My wife and I are pretty type A people and had a very clear idea of how our celebration would look, feel and be experienced....and yet again...Lisa hit the nail on the head. We were speechless. Where do I even begin with Lisa from Creative Concepts?! Our wedding venue Le Chateau had a few recommendations for wedding planners/month of coordinators and Lisa was on the list. I spoke on the phone with a few planners but there was an instant connection with Lisa. My mother and I immediately felt like she would be the one who could get the job done, and do it well. We reached out to Lisa in January of 2019 and booked her for a month of coordinator for our August 2020 wedding as we already had most of the planning completed. She was flexible with meeting us closer to my home town in NY instead of driving the hour to get to her office in Hamden, CT. She was accessible through email as well as text when we needed her. Once the pandemic hit, Lisa was such a great resource. She immediately reached out to all her clients and brides, she always kept us updated with NYS and CT guidelines. We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding to August of 2021 and she worked with us to find a new date as well as helped us move all our vendors over. We had multiple zoom meetings throughout the postponement where she reassured us as well as kept us on track. She was extremely detail oriented and her "file" of us was constantly being updated with new details and changes. For our wedding month, she reached out to our vendors, we felt confident that all our vendors were kept up to date. Our wedding weekend also went smoothly, we met up a few days before for a "drop off" of our stuff and went over every detail thoroughly. Lisa was helpful at our wedding rehearsal where she continued to provide guidance to our wedding party and family. Jillian was our hotel attendant. She was lovely, she coordinated the flowers, kept the bridal party on track and assisted with anything we needed. She was also in contact with Lisa in regards to guests getting onto the shuttles for the reception. Lisa and Ann were at Le Chateau during our event. We felt that things went as smooth as possible and the night went off without too many hitches! Lisa was able to get all of our decor/things packed into my mom's car at the end of the night and made sure we had nothing to worry about. Overall, my husband, myself and my mom have been very impressed with Lisa and her team. She truly is very knowledgeable about the industry and would highly recommend her for your wedding journey! I applaud the CCBL team for continuing to provide such amazing service and doing it with such grace, despite the pandemic and all that the wedding industry has had to face!

We can't even put into words how fantastic and helpful Lisa was during our wedding planning process. We rescheduled our date due to COVID and she still made herself available for Zoom calls to guide us through the process. I can’t recommend Lisa and her team enough! We hired Lisa in 2019 for wedding design and planning/coordination. Our wedding was truly a dream! Lisa’s design brought me to tears and was like a fairytale. There was so much attention to detail, she thought of everything to make our day absolutely stunning! Lisa was also so helpful with updating us on all the Covid19 guidelines/changes and helping us navigate having a safe wedding for our family and friends! Ann, Kelly and Chelsea were also present on our wedding day- they were beyond wonderful and helpful. When we decided to get a month of planner, we knew we had all my details and vision in place. Lisa was always patient, honest, and understanding throughout the process. Lisa was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our wedding was perfect. We couldn't have done it without Lisa. She is truly the BEST in the business! Lisa is like the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella! I wish there was a way to give Lisa more than 5 stars, because she truly deserves it! There are no amount of words we can write here to convey just how grateful my wife and I are to have Lisa in our lives. Working with Lisa professionally, she demonstrates everything you want in a planner. She is creative, thoughtful, detail oriented and goes above and beyond her "job description". Before being engaged, we knew without a doubt that we would hire Lisa to be our wedding planner. That was the first and BEST decision we ever made as an engaged couple. We were planning for a big celebration in Maine on 10/10/20...as you all know that didn't happen. But what did happen next was pure magic. When we decided to postpone our celebration to 2021...yes we cried, and were sad...but not for long. Within 2 days we had all of our vendors re-booked for our new date AND we had a new venue and vendors booked for our micro wedding in 2020. This is all thanks to the amazingly dedicated Lisa. Lisa helped transform our mindset and really made our wedding day so special. Not only was she there from set up to cleanup, but she officiated our ceremony as well!! I can not tell you how special it was to have Lisa not only by our side through the planning, postponing and planning again of our wedding BUT to have her marry my wife and I was an incredible experience. I recommend Lisa to anyone and everyone planning any type of celebration. She will more than exceed your expectations and I promise you will be finding more reasons to celebrate in the future just so you can hire her again! Lisa is everything you didn’t even know you needed. Trying to express how I feel about Lisa and all that she has done for my husband and me in this short review would be impossible. My husband Joe and I met Lisa in 2019 (pre-COVID) to plan our September 2020 wedding. From the moment we sat on Lisa’s iconic teal blue couch, she got us excited for our wedding in way we hadn’t yet felt, and let us both breathe a sigh of relief to know we had someone who could really take care of everything for us. From that first meeting on, Lisa was a force of nature; she negotiated with vendors, toured venues with us, provided us with amazing décor ideas and generally made it so that the process was stress free. Then COVID happened. Without hesitation, Lisa took our big 180 person wedding and created an intimate wedding that was even better than before. Lisa worked directly with our families to make sure they were in the loop and knew what they needed to do (my brother officiated and our other siblings performed a song for us), and worked with her preferred vendors (who were also out of this world) to create a dream wedding. And this was all before the wedding day. On our wedding day, Lisa made it so that we could relax and enjoy every second knowing that she had it all taken care of. It was an actual dream. Sitting here today, I cannot think of one thing I would change about the day (and I’m the world’s biggest critic). Lisa is so much more than a wedding planner. In a year that was so tough for my family (for certain non-COVID reasons) Lisa created this bright light at the end of the tunnel. She created a day for all of our families to forget about the bad and celebrate the good. Our wedding day and memories that have come with it will be forever tied with Lisa, and we’re so thankful for that. In just one short year Lisa became a part of our family and we encourage anyone who is looking for an unforgettable day to make her a part of yours.

I can't begin to recommend Lisa highly enough as a wedding/event planner. We began working with Lisa under pre-COVID circumstances in 2019 to plan our September 2020 wedding. My then-fiance and I could tell right off the bat that Lisa was a winner and her services were worth all that she charged and more. She got to know us as people, not just as clients. Lisa worked to really understand our vision for a wedding (which was admittedly a little bit offbeat), and made sure she was with us at our visits with our caterer, our florist, and at a tour of the venue. Despite multiple changes of mind (by us) on the details, Lisa lined up a very affordable, unique, and memorable wedding for us and our 180 guests. Then COVID hit. Even though we could no longer have as large a gathering as we planned, Lisa resurrected our wedding and made it even better than before. She worked to find us a different caterer and bakery that were more appropriate for our new, small setting and stayed in constant contact with our venue about our changing plans. What Lisa created for us was the most special, intimate, and thoughtful wedding I have ever attended--even though I admit I'm biased! In a year when it seems like just about everything is going wrong, Lisa created a day for us and our families where no worries or concerns existed and nothing else mattered in the world. My wife described it the best when she called the wedding a dream come true. We will remember how Lisa made us feel for the rest of our lives. There are not many people you hire to help with a job and end up truly calling a friend, but Lisa is definitely one of them for my wife and I.

To preface this there are no amount of words I can write that would adequately describe how grateful and blessed I feel to have met Lisa and have her bring my dream wedding to life. 2020 has been a difficult year for all, some more than others. Although my fiancé and I have no right to complain we were drastically effected by covid when it hit in March of 2020. Being both ICU nurses we had to quickly face our fears and help patients in need. After getting through those emotionally and physically draining months we emerged in the summer knowing that our wedding would surely be effected. After countless days and nights spent stressed about our wedding we met Lisa. With only a month and a half lisa was able to find my dream venue at the Owenego, book all my vendors, and bring my boho wedding dream to life. My wedding was not only beautiful, it was safe, organized and full of love. Lisa became like family and really put her whole heart into our wedding day. With all that being said my fiancé, family and I cannot recommend her enough!

Where do I begin? My wedding was ELEVATED because of Lisa. When COVID-19 restrictions stopped our original wedding plans, I knew I couldn't figure it all out alone. Enter - Lisa. From my first contact with her, I knew we were in good hands. Her quick responses, her thoughtful questions and her kind demeanor made our choice easy. You can tell from the second you speak to her that she absolutely loves what she does and that she cares so deeply about you. She helped us plan our dream wedding in 4 months. She completely took over on finding us a new venue, helping with every decor detail, establishing a timeline that made sense, finding us additional vendors, and working with the vendors we already had. Her knowledge of the guidelines and restrictions due to COVID helped us plan in the safest way possible. I honestly could not have done this without her. She made our dream beach wedding possible. Hurricane/Tropical Storm Isaisis tried to stop our day when our venue lost power, but Lisa saved our day by being in direct communication with our venue, securing another food option and providing reassurance that my husband and I would get married on our day no matter what. She was our Justice of the Peace and made us feel calm and loved while standing together saying "I do". Throughout our wedding day/night, Lisa kindly kept my husband and I informed on time and what was going to happen next. As both our Planner and Justice of the Peace, Lisa was the perfect choice, especially in these times of COVID. If you are on the fence on whether to contact Creative Concepts by Lisa - DO IT. Just for the sole fact that I had absolutely no worries on my wedding day. I knew deep down that every detail was in her care and my day went on flawlessly. I cannot recommend her services enough.

We had to change our wedding plans due to COVID and moved from a larger, West Coast wedding where we live, to doing a small, family-only wedding in CT. Lisa was referred to us and we are so glad we used her! She was very perceptive and let us go at our own pace. We gave her a little bit of info about ourselves and our likes and she came up with the perfect ceremony. We also took her recommendations for florist and photographer. Both were amazing and made our day very special. Her enthusiasm and passion for what she does helped us to have an unforgettable day. Thank you, Lisa!

We worked with Lisa on a recent wedding and found her to be well informed, easy to communicate with, and most importantly able to roll with the changes this year has inflicted upon our couples! She had a great plan she developed with the client and executed well, combined with our Total Events staff it was a night to remember! Lisa is amazing!! We planned a wedding from several states away while juggling very busy work schedules, and Lisa made the whole thing easy. She patiently guided us in great directions every time there was a decision to make and thought of all the little things we didn't think of. And she was a force of nature on our wedding day equal to the forces of actual nature--in the form of a huge thunderstorm that caused us to have to move our planned beach ceremony inside on an hour's notice. It’s takes a strong work ethic to be an event planner, and Lisa has it. She arrives early, stays late, follows up, listens and takes extensive notes. Although I didn't use Lisa for her wedding planning services, I was thrilled to hear she also offered Justice of the Peace services! It was no question whether or not we would hire her, and my husband was equally as excited after we left our first meeting with her at the beginning of our engagement. She made the whole process simple and smooth - she even used her excellent planning skills during our final meeting to give us a print out of how everything would go during the rehearsal to ease my mind. She fully customized our ceremony with multiple options combined plus our own written vows and the unity ceremony of our choosing. She is completely open and willing to make your ceremony exactly what you've always envisioned, which can be overwhelming, but she helps make the deciding process easier and fun. Lisa is a gem!! We hired Lisa for a dear friend’s wedding just two weeks out from the wedding to be our day-of champion and to ensure that all the beautiful plans the bride and groom had dreamt up came together seamlessly! I don’t have the words for what a gift it was to have Lisa on the team bringing their celebration to life. Her energy, her experience, and her ability to jump in and master the details was truly wonderful! She helped navigate the many final confirmations and logistics, handled a few curveballs that came our way, and was a powerhouse all weekend. Lisa was an utter delight to work with and brought such joy and energy to the day! As the MOH, planner, and the floral designer, Lisa’s assistance setting up the wedding and ensuring everyone and everything was taken care of was such a relief and allowed both me and the couple the chance to focus on the celebration knowing we were in such gifted hands! We just celebrated our one year anniversary, and we look back on our wedding day with wonderful memories. We wanted to get married at the Owenego, my mother’s beach club, and we booked a date with about 8 months to plan. But excitement soon turned to a feeling of panic about planning such a big event. We live and work in NYC, and work long hours. We arranged a meeting with Lisa and as soon as we met her she eased the stress, and we focused on the fun of planning our wedding day. Planning: Lisa is a trusted professional, so instead of researching vendors on our own we trusted her opinion. We did a Supreme Package which included a choice of a few DJ’s, photographers, budget for flowers, and of course Lisa’s help. Having the options narrowed made it a lot easier to choose. Our photographer Tim Mannle took the most beautiful pictures, and it took one phone interview to pick the best DJ Butch Gray, and Lisa worked with the florist once we discussed ideas and colors. All of her advice is great and attentive to budget. If I emailed her questions late at night after work, she would answer right away. She helped coordinate flower, décor, hair, makeup, transportation, string trio, and more. We had one very fun meeting at the venue where we looked at flower arrangements, and picked out the napkins, chair sashes, etc. and she pulled it all together. Just making our guest list, invitations, and working on tracking replies and tables was enough to keep us busy! But Lisa took care of so much more. In the month before the wedding she found us a great videographer, popcorn favors, and took care of signs and decor. Lisa makes the planning so fun, but most importantly all her advice and recommendations are priceless. Wedding day: We wanted to have a joyful ceremony with friends and family, and then be present for all the celebrating, enjoy cocktail hour, dinner and then dance all night! With Lisa and her team everything was taken care of so we got to truly enjoy the whole day. Everything from hair and makeup, pictures, ceremony and onwards to the dance floor was seamless and I just felt so happy and relaxed. Lisa’s team of vendors worked so well together, and the wedding was fun for everyone! We still hear from our guests how special and fun it was. Ceremony: Lisa is also a justice of the peace. We wanted a joyful, personal and not too religious ceremony. When I told people we were thinking of having our wedding planner marry us they thought it sounded crazy, but they don’t know Lisa- she really can do it all! She gave us some ideas from other ceremonies she had done, and we worked with her to edit language and add in things we wanted. To make our ceremony personal we wrote our own vows. Lisa has a theater background, her voice is eloquent and carries well but also she is professional, warm and charismatic. When we watch our video her warm personality comes through, and our guests are happy, laughing and engaged. We will always be grateful for Lisa for marrying us in such a special, personal ceremony. We could go on about Creative Concepts by Lisa. In short if you need a wedding planner she is the one to hire! If you are looking for a Justice of the Peace she is wonderful! She went above and beyond to make my day the best it could be, and she made the whole planning process so much easier for us. Anything I needed she was right there to handle it. Her ideas and little added details made the day so perfect and a wedding that will never be forgotten by me and my husband but also by all of the guests. We love Lisa!! My husband and I seriously cannot say enough about the amazing work that Lisa does. The hashtag sign-off that she uses: #gettingitdone could not be more appropriate because she gets it done in every situation! Groom has no idea where to find or rent a suit? Done. Last minute decision to add a photo booth? Done. Find a new wedding dress three weeks before the wedding (yes, this all happened)- DONE! She literally saved the day for me and helped us stay calm in high stress situations many times before the wedding and on the wedding day.
