We worked with Rachel for our wedding in Washington, D.C. this past December, after a referral from friends, and she was absolutely integral to the success of our special day. She was a delight to work with from start-to-finish, and helped us think through every detail to ensure we had the best possible experience. Onsite, she and her team took care of everything -- organizing and managing all vendor coordination and venue details, leaving us to only focus on our loved ones. We were apprehensive about having a planner at first, but involving Creative Eventology made a massive difference in how we experienced planning and enjoying our wedding.
Rachel was key to our daughters wedding being an incredible day! We didn’t have to worry about anything because she was there guiding and directing the whole process. And on the day we all were able to just enjoy. We had a very specific look and Rachel listened and brought that vision to life beautifully. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
My wife and I had a fantastic experience with Creative Eventology planning our wedding which took place this past weekend. Over the course of a few months our wedding coordinator Rachel worked with us to ensure our wedding would be perfect, and it was! Her attention to detail, meticulous organization, and punctuality made it so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing during our big day. The timeline she created was extremely well thought out, and Rachel had accounted for everything - even last minute speed bumps that were otherwise unforeseen. her experience and thoughtfulness are just a few of her skills that made for a terrific wedding planning experience. Rachel and the Creative Eventology team made our wedding day so so special. We had a short period of time to finalize our preparations, but Rachel executed everything perfectly. As a designer myself, it can be difficult to find someone with such a high attention to detail. However, Rachel and the team exceeded our expectations in a friendly, accessible, and easygoing manner. 10/10 recommend.
As a DJ-MC entertainer, it was a pleasure working with Rachel and her team at Creative Eventology. Rachel was contracted with less than a month to plan an entire beach ceremony and destination wedding in Lewes, DE. We connected through a network of professionals and working with Rachel was wonderful. Her attention to detail, communication and execution were all on point. What I found MOST impressive was her team approach to the day. While I was working FOR Rachel to provide services for her clients, she really made me feel like we were working together as a team. Whether it was detailed directions or changes in itinerary, Rachel kept me informed every step of the way. She truly has a passion for planning and her organized approach made my job SO much easier. I highly recommend Rachel and her team. If you need a day-of coordinator or full blown planner, you won't be disappointed!
Rachel was the single best vendor we worked with for our wedding. We could not have done this without her. She was so kind, thoughtful and above all, KNEW HER STUFF!!! She thought of everything . Things we never would have known like insurance and vendor contract details and day of details. She is worth way more than her cost. Our wedding at Terrain was perfect and she was such a great friend and partner along the way. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She’s efficient, awesome, and a powerhouse when you need her to step in and get shit done for you!! 20/10.
My husband and I are so glad we decided to hire the Creative Eventology team for our wedding. Right from the initial call with Rachel, we had a good feeling about her - she was easy to talk to, enthusiastic, and super knowledgeable. We couldn't have done this without Rachel and her team - the day of went so smoothly and I wasn't stressed out...because I knew we had them on our side, making sure everything that needed to happen would happen. We also had a very unique wedding (it was Marvel themed), so getting their help with some of the design was super helpful - we only had so much time to DIY and the Creative Eventology team really helped to fill in the gaps that our talent and time couldn't fill. Whether it's for planning, design, or both - we 10/10 recommend hiring Creative Eventology!
My husband and I were married in 2020, and planned our own backyard-wedding. It was hands-down the most stressful thing I had ever planned (and I plan every day as a teacher!). When we were starting to plan our sequel wedding, I demanded that we hire a wedding planner so that we could fully enjoy our day this time around.
We had our sequel wedding at the zoo and knew that we wanted a team that could handle a quirky venue and multiple events in the day. Rachel was super responsive, calling me soon after I sent in a request for more information. We told her that we wanted a church ceremony, a tea-ceremony at a hotel, and a reception at the zoo - all in one day! Rachel said she and her team would have no problem executing it all.
Our plans ended up changing a bit (we cut out the church ceremony, added a ceremony to the zoo venue, and incorporated two dress-changes), but Rachel never faltered on her commitment and organization. Rachel communicated with all of our vendors so we didn't have to, and gave them all necessary paperwork. We decided to hire CE for design services, too, because I was feeling overwhelmed. My husband likes simplicity (think: almost no design at all), and I like lots of color, flowers, and things. CE presented us with an incredible design experience, from giving us options of look + feel, to a step-by-step guide of how our wedding would look, always keeping in mind our wants and blending them together. Rachel even designed a custom seating chart, card box, and guest book. She also HAND SCULPTED our cake stand and a topper to make it look like a giraffe. Somehow, our wedding looked EVEN MORE STUNNING than the ideas when it was all said and done. Rachel even did the sweetest thing and put a bleached sunflower in my bouquet to match my other flowers, a nod to my original bouquet.
The CE team made sure that we were fed, had time alone, on-time, and relaxed during our day. Abby and Janna stayed with my husband or I all day, and I never had any need that they couldn't (and didn't) address. Abby even fixed my hair and mended my reception dress at one point!
I highly recommend Rachel, Abby, and Janna for future parties, and I just wish we could get married a third time to hire them again!
We opted for an outdoor wedding this past October in my parents backyard, so a Event Planner was a must based on friends feedback that had a outdoor wedding. All weddings are a lot of work planning - however I was not aware how many moving parts an outdoor wedding is!!
Rachel was the only event planner I talked to on the phone- after our initial call I felt so comfortable with her I immediately booked her and I am so happy I did. I loved the fact I was able to add more of their 'a la carte' planning options to my wedding package. As our date got closer I realized I needed more help in certain areas, so I added a few more options.
The day of the wedding we had Abby on site and she was phenomenal! She was there all day helping set up, and was there until the end of the night. She touched base with me throughout the day, and she put all the decorations away for us which was a huge help. I have had guests and my family comment on how great she was!
I was told I was 'too chill' of a bride leading up to the wedding and the day off - I have Rachel and Abby to thank for that! :)
Rachel and her team were so amazing, it was by far the best money spent for our wedding weekend. They literally took care of everything and we could not have done it with out them! I was so thankful that they handled everything the month of, it allowed my fiancé and I and my family to enjoy our time and the whole weekend instead of stressing about the details. From the first call to the last, they constantly showed us we were in great hands and were so detail oriented. They kept us organized on the day of the wedding but also allowed the day to feel carefree and laid back. From the minute we got there they made sure we had a drink in our hand and everything we needed to have the best night! We are so grateful for the team and would hire them again in a heartbeat!
THE BEST EVER! Rachel and Abby were SO helpful and literally could not have had the wedding without them. Their expertise helped in so many ways - little details I totally didn't think of, they took care of. The planning process was simple and easy and Rachel was always available when needed. She guided with her thoughts and suggestions but let us make our decisions ourselves. Day of, through all of the chaos and craziness, she was truly the MVP, keeping us on schedule, helping with whatever we needed, and let us just focus on us. I was at such peace during the wedding knowing that Rachel was in control and I could just enjoy my day!
If I could give Rachel and her team more stars I would, and I am not exaggerating. Rachel set the tone for our vendor-couple relationship right out of the gate. She was kind, knowledgeable, asked questions to get to know us better and also informed us of the process and the range of support her team could provide right out of the gate. She was always clear and concise, but never short or dismissive of our questions or thoughts. She was extremely prepared for every single call and meeting we had, and her spreadsheet for planning was stuff of excel dreams. My (now) husband and I had chosen a venue that required us to provide EVERYTHING, which at first didn't seem too overwhelming since we were engaged for a year and a half, but life got hectic and we realized we were in over our heads. I knew early on that I wanted some extra help leading up to the wedding and for the weekend of so we chose Rachel's Weekend Of package. If we were to do it again we would hire her from DAY1 and used her expertise much earlier. Even with the 8 weeks she had leading up to the event, she blew it out of the park. She quickly contacted every single vendor, helped us confirm various orders, and shared with us much of her experience so that we could make better decisions regarding things like tent sizes, layouts, timelines etc. She also was able to help me last minute with items I had originally planned on sourcing myself but was unable to. Our experience working with her was absolutely incredible. On top of that, our day was AMAZING, and I say this despite the fact that it was 100% outside on a farm in May with 47F weather, rain, and wind, and 230 guests. Rachel's team worked so hard to make every piece of the day work despite all of the obstacles, and it truly did. We would repeat that exact day over and over again, weather and all. My family also RAVED about Rachel and her team. They each said they were made to feel so special that day and were taken care of the whole night. My mom and dad have given Creative Eventology's name out to everyone they meet, and have even said they want her involved when my sisters get married!

Rachel and Abby were heaven-sent. They were very professional and friendly. We loved how they kept each process moving and kept us laughing. It felts like they were part of the family. I would recommend them to anybody who looking for a coordinator for their wedding, party, or whatever, celebration they are having.
Working with Rachel and her team was easily the best choice we made for our wedding planning process and our wedding day. We utilized her for partial planning as well as day-of coordination. From our first phone call, it was evident she was going to be our planner. She is down to earth and easy to talk to, while also possessing crisp attention to detail and keeping everything on track.
Prior to our day-of coordination package kicking in, Rachel did a wonderful job in vetting vendors for us, and presenting the information she gathered for us in an organized and straight-forward manner. She took care of necessary communications any time it was needed. Once our day-of services began (two months before the wedding), she really kicked things into overdrive. As an overly-stressed bride and groom, nothing feels more relieving than hearing the words "You don't have to talk to any of your vendors again if you don't want to, that's what I'm here for." She was not kidding! We know for a fact there were probably several behind the scenes vendor communications that took place where Rachel had to advocate for us to make our day perfect. When we were stressed, she had the perfect maneuvers to validate and empathize with us, while also keeping the show on the road (and this is coming from the opinion of a therapist!)
Working with Rachel, you know that she has your best interest at heart. Our wedding was unique in the sense that we were planning on representing various aspects of our cultures (Korean, Jewish, Greek, etc.) throughout the event, and in our first call with Rachel when we shared this with her, she seemed excited to take on the challenge. She and her team executed it all so smoothly. There were so many details that even the most organized bride would have missed without having the knowledge and expertise that Rachel and her team bring. I can't tell you how many times she brought a detail to our attention and we thought to ourselves "Wow, I wouldn't have even thought of that!" Even on the day of, when there were small fires to put out, two of the most anxious people who could be getting married did not have to worry, as we knew Rachel and her team would handle it. Stain on the tux? Taken care of with items in their emergency kit. Need to change an entrance song 5 minutes before entrances? Done. Another stain on the tux? Gone. Need to find us family members to have discussions with regarding the evening? Found in two minutes and brought to us. Throughout the chaos of a wedding day, and with any changes or obstacles, she and her team didn't even seem to sweat it. They tackled every single bump gracefully.
We would hire Rachel and her team for any event in the future without question. Rachel, Abby & Elena, you were all integral parts of the most important day in our lives. Thank you for keeping us calm, relaxed, and worry-free. We love you guys!
It’s almost hard to find words for how appreciative I am for and how amazing Rachel was for our day of coordinator. I truly feel like we are friends and I still want to hang out with her. There is no way that I could’ve pulled this wedding off without her. She did not miss one single detail about this wedding from coordination with the vendors to showing up the day of the wedding with emergency supplies that actually were needed last minute! I did not have to even think about anything for my wedding when it came time for her to take over. I feel like i had the best experience as a bride and felt so happy and stress free because Rachel had everything covered. I owe Rachel and Abby more than a huge thank you and wish that I could use their services again just because she is so amazing!
Rachel and the CE team made our wedding day absolutely perfect! From the moment I first met with Rachel, I felt confident that CE was going to be able to turn my sort of unorganized ideas into a dream wedding. Rachel created a gorgeous design plan for us which included centerpieces, ceremony setup, signage, and a million other beautiful details. Thanks to Rachel's creativity we were able to incorporate little details of our lives into every area of our wedding (Books as place card holders and photos of our cat on signs). She provided so many options and choices throughout the process and helped us save money! On the day of the wedding, everything was organized and the timeline ran smoothly. The CE team went above and beyond to make sure we had the absolute best wedding possible. Working with CE was truly a dream come true and I highly recommend them. Months later friends and family are still raving about how incredible our wedding was and we all of that to Rachel and CE.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I give the CE team a 50! I can not recommend Creative Eventology enough. Everything from the planning, the design, vendor management and day of was stress-free and enjoyable. Rachel took my unorganized ideas and made them come to life in the most amazing way! Almost a month later and our guests can't stop talking about it!
We hired Creative Eventology for our wedding on 1/22/2022 and can't recommend them enough. Rachel and her team made our wedding everything we hoped it would be. Our wedding happened to align with a surge of COVID cases in our area, and as a result, had many plans and RSVPs changing every day. Rachel always accommodated any changes we needed, regularly communicated to our vendors, and made recommendations when we were unsure what we wanted to do.
On the day of our wedding, Rachel and her team took care of every last detail to make sure we could fully enjoy our big day. Decorations, table settings, timeline, and all coordination of our vendors were executed to perfection - we honestly don't know how she pulled it off. We are incredibly thankful for all Rachel and her team did to make our day special.

Rachel was absolutely phenomenal! She helped us plan a destination micro-wedding. She recommended venues in the area we loved. She booked the best hair and makeup girls for me. Connected us with our officiant, that tailored the ceremony to our requests. She found the perfect florist, photographer and the best videographer. She knew we love our dogs and they wouldn't be there, she surprised us with a table with their photos on it. She also brought other small details for photos, and decorated our room when we got back from dinner with dessert, champagne and other drinks for us to enjoy. She helped with things we never even thought of. She went totally above and beyond with every detail, coordination and recommendation. She really did make our day stress free and extra special. After talking to make other planners before her and being disappointed in their reaction to wanting a smaller wedding. We found Rachel's beautiful photos on Instagram and called. We knew after our first conversation she understood our vision for our day and was excited to make that vision come to life. If you're looking for someone who is as excited as you are on your big day, but also has everything and everyone else under control to go smooth, she is your girl!

Rachel and the Creative Eventology team are absolutely incredible!! They were with me through a 1.5 year long planning process from vendor booking and guest list organization down to the smallest reception details. Their full planning package is worth every cent!! They help you save money in the long run by providing many design services and will be as hands-on or hands-off as you would like when it comes to putting together things like save the dates, invitations, welcome bags, party favors, etc.
Their creativity and design abilities are second to none, true artistry goes into the design elements of every wedding.
There is nothing I would have changed from my wedding if I had to do it over again and I would definitely use their services in the future for other events!

On my wedding day, while I was getting dressed, my friend asked why I wasn't stressed or nervous and I responded that my planner had it all figured out! Rachel helped us save money, she coordinated all the vendors and did all the running around, bargained on our behalf, made suggestions that tuned out all beautiful and I can't believe how emotional I feel just typing this long review. My husband and I had our wedding celebration last weekend and it would not have come together so wonderfully without the help of Rachel and Megan at Creative Eventology. Our experience with them from start to finish (which ended up stretching over a year) was a 10/10. Rachel's communication and design expertise throughout the entire process were fantastic and on the wedding day Rachel and her assistant Meghan made everything flow perfectly. The team at Creative Eventology made our special day better than we could have ever imagined. Janna was able to answer my every question and helped me work through the chaotic and unorganized ideas I had! She also was an amazing voice of reason and calmness as we planned a wedding during a pandemic. The day of execution was flawless- with my bridal party more than prepped to be where they needed to be at the exact time they needed to be there. My every imagine of design was beautifully displayed with finishing touches Janna's team was able to add that magically tied it all together. I am forever grateful for Creative Eventology and will suggest them to all future brides in the Philly area!!
Hands down the best decision made was hiring Rachel and Creative Eventology. Everyone was shocked at how calm I was leading up to the wedding but I just knew it was all under control. We picked an a la carte package with Rachel which meant we’ve worked with her for the entire year of our engagement and we definitely consider her a friend after all this time spent discussing and planning. She even managed to handle some difficult vendors very well and I could not be more pleased with the outcome of our entire wedding!

Rachel and her team went above and beyond to make my day perfect! Everything looked exactly how I had envisioned it and I felt like I didn't have to do anything day of but enjoy my day. All the vendors were handled and I didn't even have to deal with the marriage license because Rachel had it all done. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is having a wedding or even just a regular event. She made everything easy and even had fun with my entire wedding party which made everyone have a great time.
Recently renewed our wedding vows in Las Vegas and am still flabbergasted over the tremendous job Rachel (owner of Creative Eventology) and her crew did. Although this was basically a last minute decision to actually re-create an ENTIRE wedding from beginning to end (tuxes, limos, flowers, honeymoon and all!) it all went off without a hitch. The thoroughness and attention to detail was impeccable. We were further blown away by the fact she threw in some extra added special touches that we were not even aware of! She also helped my husband plan a re-proposal on bended knee at Caesar's Palace unbeknownst to me! It was perfect and to say she went above and beyond what was expected would truly be an understatement. Thank you again Rachel for giving us the best day EVER!
Today is the day after my wedding and I am taking time away from my honeymoon to write this review because this vendor was literally the worst vendor we had. Rachel (owner of creative eventology) charged us about $1500 and did not do much of the things we agreed upon. She arrived late (after other vendors arrived) and literally stood around for most of the wedding. She breached many of the agreements we had, both verbal and written and left the groom and his brothers to do her job of setting up some of the decor at the wedding (we have pictures to prove this). She told everyone in our families at the wedding "I don't really know what's going on"...like really? Isn't that her job to find out? Also why would she say that out loud to our family after we wrote out a detailed timeline for her? If you can't figure out what's going on, don't sign on with the client. We also wrote out a detailed description of the order of events that she decided not to read or follow. She said she would bring 2 assistants and 2 cars and brought one of each. The assistant did more than Rachel did for us. My sister mentioned seeing her sitting in the venue on her phone relaxing while my sister was running around finding items for the wedding (part of Rachel's job). Everytime we saw her during the wedding she was standing around and looking blankly at us not even trying to figure out what was going on. At one point she told me my brother was gathering people for photos ( so I guess she thought she didn't need to help him?) when I asked why she wasn't helping the photographers. Then at the ceremony she told the groom that setting up some of the decor we previously agreed she would set up would be too time consuming and difficult for her. Wow, I'm just blown away by how unprofessional she was. I (the bride) had to tell her to go do her job twice on the wedding day ( I gave up after that because she didn't seem to care). I still can not believe her excuse was that we hired her last minute. First of all, as a day of coordinator you shouldnt sign on to something you can not handle. Second of all we detailed the information she should have followed in writing. If she was confused or couldn't handle something she should have communicated this. If you can't do your job well...don't agree to do it. Also she was the most unresponsive vendor we had. Other vendors were saying she never got in touch with them even though she was supposed to be managing them. We had to track her down and re explain things several times and she did not even do what we agreed upon during our meetings. The incredible part is that we only needed her to do minimal coordinating since we most of the reception completely taken care of and a lot of the set up for the ceremony also taken care of. She charged us a large sum to arrive late ( the florist was left waiting since Rachel told him an incorrect time to arrive - doesn't day of cover the whole day??) and stood around while the groom and our family scrambled to get everything in order. The groom was the one greeting the other vendors. She also had a bad attitude with us on our wedding day! Rachel is a terrible coordinator in our opinion and that family and guests. As the decorating scheme became more complicated for our daughter’s themed wedding it became clear that we needed a Day of Coordinator to facilitate the look we wanted so that the wedding party could enjoy the day. Rachel enthusiastically accepted the challenge of transforming our venue into the “Wonderland” that we envisioned and faithfully implemented the complicated decorating plan we had developed. Additionally, Rachel organized and flawlessly ran our rehearsal which was a huge relief to us as many of the wedding party had no experience in this regard. We were confident on the Big Day that our months of planning and the coordination of all of our vendors would be overseen by a professional and any problems would be competently handled. Rachel exceeded our expectations! The venue was transformed, the vendors were able to perform their tasks seamlessly, the wedding party knew what they needed to do, the parents were able to enjoy the ceremony and reception and most importantly the bride and groom smiled all day and night. Thank you Rachel, for your professionalism, your organizational savvy and most of all for your humor.
