e the most personalized experience and communication that you wouldn't get from a large company. My wife and I keep in touch with the venue manager, and she told us she routinely uses our wedding's photos specifically to show other clients pictures of what can be accomplished. She told me and my wife it was one of, if not the most gorgeous weddings she's ever had, and it's really brought new bookings. The decor was straightforward and very affordable, yet it had profound elegance and accents in all the right spots without being too convoluted or excessively busy. Guests had remarked they felt like they were transported to a different world. Whenever we had an unexpected change arise or we needed to adapt, Sarah was quick to pivot and take care of it right away. She decorated the bridal shower and the venues to perfection, and we wouldn't have had it any other way. We're thankful to have worked with Sarah and CER on such a memorable experience, and we strongly recommend them to other couples looking for a smooth wedding decorating experience.

The room felt warm and inviting, she helped coordinate the photo booth vendor and get all of that set up for us, and she did everything she said she would do (had a gift area, welcome table, Mr & Mrs table, etc). The food was really good! Everyone I spoke to really liked their meal and people LOVED her desserts (which I think she makes herself, but I'm not 100% sure). She also brought extra supplies so that we could pull off a sparkler exit and cut a cake delivered by a different vendor. NOT GREAT: The biggest problem we had was with the alcohol/bar. My contract was for a 3-hour open bar offering margaritas and 3 kinds of beer. I think it was like 30-40 minutes into the party, I was notified the margarita machine was out and they wouldn't be refilling it. People also told me the cups of frozen marg they were receiving were 35-40% full, and they were expecting more. Naturally, this led to a lot of stress and confusion for me. I had to pull up the contract to review what we agreed on and confirm it was for an open bar. Sarah then told me that open bar meant enough margaritas for each person in the guest count to have one -- that is not what an open bar means, and if your contract says open bar, I encourage you to go over that in advance so you aren't caught off guard. They ended up replacing the frozen margs with tequila + marg mix, but it was warm, and guests told me her husband scooped ice from the cooler the beers and sodas were in (that people's hands had been in). Because of all this, guests had warm drinks for a period of time and had to wait for her husband to run to the store to get more alcohol. I wasn't happy about any of that. Had I known that was their policy on the margaritas, I would've opted for a different drink choice. The other note I have here is that when we started talking, Sarah mentioned she could be sort of a "day of coordinator", which I've seen other people reference in their reviews. However, when I arranged for another vendor to deliver a cake (due to dietary restrictions; I didn't want Sarah to have to buy a gluten-free cake just for me), Sarah questioned why she was being asked to coordinate with this vendor and specifically said that she is NOT a coordinator. So, if you're looking for someone to help coordinate certain things about your wedding/party, that's probably worth discussing as you're drawing up the contract too, so you don't get stressed as the day approaches. Overall, the party was great and people had a lovely time. I just wanted to flag the alcohol issue because that's a pretty big part of most parties, and I wish I'd known that going in.

We had very specific things in mind- for example we wanted to have one of the rooms in white and blue and the other in traditional Chinese (old Shanghai) and she executed it beautifully. My sisters and I were very specific about what we wanted, and Sarah was very accommodating- she went above and beyond. Other vendors asked us to go to their office just for consultations, while Sarah took the effort to meet us at the venue from the start. She definitely made the whole experience very personable and tailored. We were so pleased with the result. There were a few kinks and things that changed due to incorrect measurements but she was flexible and worked with us to make it all turn out beautifully. She was a joy to work with and I highly recommend her for any project.

thorn off my shoulder. The decorations on my wedding was amazing. Creative Events ask me what I like and all I said was I like blue. and beach wedding setting. Sarah designed the rest. The hotel where I chose my ceremony and reception came with a wedding planner but the planner kept quitting or getting replaced which gave me a headache, so Sarah stepped in as my liaison thru the wedding planner, so I can concentrate more on the other details of the wedding. She designed the arch for the ceremony and it looked tremendous. As I took a peek before the ceremony with nerves on, she did an awesome job. Looking back if I didn't have Creative Events, I don't think I could've done a better job even with the hotel's wedding planner. It could've a "meh" wedding" Creative events also arranged my centerpieces and the name card for each table for the reception. It made it more intimate. Sarah even designed my wedding invitation and it looks fabulous. I was very happy with all the details on it. It had seashells on it. I am very grateful and recommending Creative events to any events.
