Then, when we discovered that a couple of boxes that we should have kept with us for the wedding ceremony were given to Chris and we had missed a couple of boxes we should have given to him for the reception, he made arrangements to bring those to the church the afternoon of the wedding just a couple of hours before he had access to the reception venue. Kind of a tight schedule and yet he made it happen. With a smile on his face. He was so sweet and kind and he so good at what he does. He clearly loves bringing to fruition the dreams of the bride and groom and make the wedding weekend enjoyable for all. Dan and Chris worked with us starting a few months out and were so helpful in organizing all of our wedding day needs, collecting our vendor information so they could hand communication from that point on to make sure everyone knew the plan for the day of the wedding and needs were met in a timely manner. They also created a detailed spreadsheet that was easy to use and update together which we really appreciated. The team did a wonderful job coordinating the rehearsal run through (even with crazy weather circumstances!) and the day of the wedding (even with crazy circumstances like family emergencies!). It was a pleasure to have this team help us make our wedding the most special day of our lives and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding coordinators.

"EVERYONE" of our friend and family who attended the wedding and reception told us that this was perhaps the best Indian wedding they have ever attended - extremely well-planned. And a major credit goes to Dan and his team - we really appreciate what they did for our family. Dan is a skilled wedding planner, one with a good judgment, and polite behavior and who likes getting things done. Thanks Dan.

As we planned and booked vendors, Jessica stayed in touch, collating their contact information, contracts, and other details to keep the back end organized. She was also available for questions and recommendations when we couldn't find what we needed or wanted on our own. Once she kicked in to full gear the month before our wedding, we felt so prioritized and her assistance was absolutely priceless. Day of, we had some hiccups with the venue at set up that Jessica seamlessly resolved, insuring that our wedding went off without a hitch. From overseeing every piece of decor, music cue, and even helping my mom bustle my dress, Jessica made our wedding a party we could 100% enjoy. She also made sure that my husband, myself, and my parents had drinks and food all night - without her, we may never have eaten! The price for this service is among the most affordable we found in Los Angeles and I cannot recommend Creative Happens and Jessica enough! I also just learned that Jessica has her own, new planning company - This review is primarily for her services, so I recommend seeking out Jessica Escalle!

concerned that the person leading these prior meetings was not our day of coordinator. However, she was very detailed and created several excels for scheduling and setup, I hoped that it would go smoothly. Adrian was our day of coordinator, he was only on the last call two weeks before the wedding and did not speak at all during the call. I even emailed him a couple things and Dan always responded instead. On the day of the wedding, I felt Adrian lacked knowledge of the schedule/details we discussed with Jessica. Before the ceremony, I asked Adrian if the bar was ready and serving drinks as it was 90 degrees and he had no clue the bar was allowed to server drinks before the ceremony which was another detail I had discussed with Jessica. When walking down the aisle, he missed sending down the ring bear and mother of bride first. I had to yell for the first groomsmen and bridesmaid to stop. We were doing a wine box ceremony and once I got down the aisle, I noticed the wine box was missing. This also contained our vows! So when it came time to say our vows, I called for Adrian to bring the box up. Adrian was not around. I called for him a second time. Again no response. I then tried to state my vows from memory but embarrassingly failed. I then called out a third time for him. Again, no response. A wedding guest then got up to look for the box and the DJ located the box and gave it to the wedding guest who brought it to me. Adrian still was no where to be found. After the ceremony Adrian apologized and said that a wedding guest moved the box. How he knew a guest moved the box but he didn’t think to put it back, I don’t know? Also I saw several picture of the alter before and during guest arrival and there is no box. Let’s be clear I was not mad the box was not there. I was mad he didn’t respond when I called for him to get it 3 times. I paid extra for all staffing, catering, and bar to be there and ready before the ceremony so no prepping was happening during the ceremony. Several other details that I had previously discussed with Jessica were missed throughout the night. I had to remind to have the event staff to bring in the chairs after the ceremony. I have a list of thing to trash bags keep, and that list was not followed. All the desserts stands I wanted to keep are missing. When he packed our car, the wood wine box was put on the bottom under presents and got scratched and dinged. We pre-tipped Adrian. I guess always wait til the end before tipping! I contacted Dan to let him know my frustrations that Adrian didn’t seem knowledgeable of the event since Jessica did all the prep work. He made excuses and defended his staff and offered a gift to make up for it. I would say, go ahead and use them if they are the only option but request your event coordinator to be the same person you prep with and that they be PRESENT during your ceremony should anything go wrong!

edding was so egregious, that I feel that I have no choice but to review Creative Happens, and its owner and team. There were countless mistruths, miscommunications excuses and evasiveness on the part of Dan, the owner and his team. I went against my better judgment from the start, but talked myself into sticking it out because I thought "it'll all be ok, he's a seasoned planner with 5 star reviews.." WRONG!!!! It only got worse, and on the wedding day itself, pretty awful. I could list no less than significant 20 issues and considerably more of mistakes and blunders. Almost every single item listed on the spread sheet for the setup and schedule for the wedding was not adhered to. The assistants were nowhere to be found, our floral arrangements (6 of 10) were not returned, as per our request, items we purchased for the wedding did not appear at the wedding, and only when I texted Dan, the day after, did he tell me they were stolen from the assistant's porch. Right. Broken glass from the groom';s stomp was placed into the box with. the Kiddush cup and returned (glad I opened the box carefully after I heard a strange sound). These are just a few examples of the many failures. What's worse is the fact that Dan took no responsibility for any of it. He was full of excuses and worst still tried to turn things around, I think that is called gaslighting. I am so confused as to how there are so many 5 star reviews. I guess we got the D team.

Our event coordinator was Chris and it couldn't have been in better hands. From our first phone call, our follow up calls/emails, to our rehearsal and to day-of - everything went absolutely perfect. We had an initial phone call with Chris and immediately after the phone call Aaron & I knew we found our coordinator. Extremely professional, but also his personality shines and we felt as if we found a new friend. Our initial planning phone call was with Jessica and she was also professional, extremely organized and helpful and just kept building our confidence in this company. Any questions we had prior to the wedding were answered within 10 minutes, if not within the same minute (in a text); it was incredible to feel so prioritized even knowing how many other weddings/events they are planning at the same time. Day of - Chris organized everything perfectly, and it was amazing to see how closely we stuck to our time schedule without ever feeling rushed or anything. His communication skills to myself, my now-husband, and everybody else was so welcoming and eased any stresses/nerves I had. Normally I'm an "always trying to host/help" person, but that day I knew it was in the right hands. I could go on for so much longer, but all you really need to know is if you're reading this: BOOK THEM NOW.

He thought of every little detail (including setting aside food for us to be sure we ate!) and his partner Chris provided the most gorgeous flowers, exactly what we'd dreamt of. what you get out of it! Jessica is the main coordinator who helps you create your timeline and our day of coordinators were Kayla and Tenyada. They were both so sweet and Kayla did a great job of trying to keep us on schedule but in a gentle way that didn't stress me out too much. Everything that I had planned and asked for happened exactly the way I had hoped it would so I have no complaints! Thanks to the Creative Happens Team and our day was truly magical and exactly how we had hoped it would be. We are over the moon!

now' which didn't seem to be my problem? I was unsure about them but once the planning calls started happening they were good and seemed to be on the ball. Come day of the wedding, for the most part everything went smooth but there were a few things that stood out which prompted me to leave a review. We ordered wine glasses for the dinner table. For some reason the day of coordinators told the caterers I didn't want wine glasses on the table. When we all sat down for dinner and wine wasn't flowing, I was like wait where are the glasses and the caterers said the planners told them to keep them in the boxes. I asked the coordinaters and they said "you said you didn't want wine glasses on the table" I never said that because I wanted my guests to have wine during dinner duh! My husband and I were really disappointed in this. That was also $350 down the drain for wine glasses that sat in boxes. I also asked them to keep the extra menus as I was going to be sending the menus and placecards to the people that couldn't make it - I paid extra for these too. And they were thrown out. There were a few other little things that weren't huge in the grand scheme of things but it didn't feel as organized and seamless as I had hoped.
