We had a 100% positive experience working with Crescent Moon Catering. Right from the get go, Kat was super communicative and a great partner in figuring out all the details for our wedding. Not only was the food delicious, but our whole family was impressed by the initiative the catering team took in setting up the tables and ensuring the event ran smoothly. We went with the taco bar for our lakeside wedding and everyone raved about the food. Totally recommend!

Crescent Moon Catering was phenomenal. Kat was very easy to work with, responded quickly to messages, and was very flexible. They worked with us to make sure we had options for guests with special dietary needs. The food was amazing - we got so many compliments from our guests! Working with Crescent Moon Catering was a dream. The communication was easy and quick. Pricing was good and cheaper than anything I found closer to Seattle. With that said, the overall quality of the menu we were presented with appeared better than other catering companies closer to Seattle too. We had a risotto bar and a carving station, along with other buffet items. The food was delicious and flavorful. We often saw our guests going back for more! Staff was kind and helpful. They even made us an appetizer box to go since we didn't get to try these items at our wedding. Highly recommended!

Kat is the best! Kat, Chef Anna, and the team were extremely patient with us throughout the entire wedding planning process. We came to them with a specific menu in mind (PNW cuisine), and they brought it fruition! Our plans for linens and flatware also changed multiple times, and Kat quickly and graciously responded to each new question. On the day of, they arrived on-time and were flexible when our cocktail hour space had to be repurposed as our ceremony space due to rain. We had a family-style meal, and HIGHLY recommend this meal format because it encourages conversation at tables and everyone gets food at the same time. Last but not least, the food itself was delicious!

Would absolutely recommend these guys. The food was delicious, the staff was great, they made the dishes exactly the way we discussed in the taste test, and they were responsive to all questions before the big day. Very professional and hold themselves to a high standard. They were awesome!

We loved Crescent Moon! Most importantly: the food was phenomenal. Our guests loved the high quality ingredients, interesting flavors, and seasonal dishes. The staff day-of were great, very polite and attentive. They also helped with minor table setting and take down, which was greatly appreciated. There were some very minor things that got lost in communication and were not executed day-of. We talked about having a tip jar out for the bartender (there wasn't one) and having the buffet be self-serve on both sides of the table for timing (staff served guests). Again, not a big deal. While it was in the contract the whole time, we only realized the week of the wedding that the bartender was contracted for half the time of our event. I just missed that in the months leading up to the event but also, why wouldn't they staff the bartender for the duration of our event? But the reason I'm reluctantly not giving 5 stars was a weird financial issue we had. We rescheduled our wedding due to Covid from July 2021 to May 2022. Crescent Moon was extremely gracious about the date change and we signed a new contract for May 2022 back in January 2021. But then months after the contract was signed for the new date, they said since it was Mother's Day they would need to charge us holiday pay for their staff. They were insistent enough to offer to break our contract, even though the additional amount they were asking for was only $420. We ended up rearranging the set up so fewer staff were required, negating the need for holiday pay. But I was disquieted that they were demanding more money after the contract was signed. If it were a federal holiday, and we discussed when we contracted the new date, I would have understood. In the end, it worked out and we were happy to be able to keep them as our caterers but it was a slightly stressful process to get there.

Crescent Moon Staff and Bartender were very friendly, courteous and professional. The Food however did not measure up to the standard we were expecting. Most of the guests did not finish their food, so much was thrown away. The Salmon was overly salty, chicken was tough and chewy. We read other reviews and our son and his Bride even did taste testing prior to hiring them. The taste testing food was good, so not sure why the food on the Wedding day did not match the food tasted prior to hiring them. We would not recommend using their service as the food provided for the wedding was less than desirable.

So happy we decided to hire Crescent Moon for our wedding and rehearsal dinner! The project manager, Kat, was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating and the food that Chef Anna prepared was absolutely delicious. They helped me build a perfect menu and all of my guests had nothing but great things to say about the food!

Crescent Moon did an incredible job; we cannot recommend them enough. Our party had a lot of food allergies/intolerances that are frankly a pain to navigate, and they took it in stride and delivered delicious food everyone could enjoy. They were quick to respond and very helpful with constructing a custom menu and other needs (linens, dishes, glass, and silverware, etc). Kat was great to work with. We did the buffet option, and ended up with very little leftovers since the guests enjoyed it so much. They were professional and made the day very easy for us. We will definitely hire them again for any future catering needs!
