amazing that I expected. •April & Todd made this property their dream and they love helping others fulfill dreams of a perfect memory. •We did a “‘Twas the night before” Christmas sweater theme. The entry and the great room were decorated so beautifully for Christmas, nothing else was needed. However, we still placed some small trees around the room, because I had already purchased them just for this event. •The property is in the country, so it gets very dark, which can make parking a little tricky. •The bartender (Jimmie) met us when we arrived. He helped unload our beverages and came across as a long time friend of the family in the first 5 minutes. Our guests enjoyed cutting up with him. He was very helpful with set up, clean up and everything in between. He has worked for CHR and April & Todd since the beginning. •We have 1 more daughter to get married and I would definitely use this venue again. •Beautiful property and amazing owners/hosts makes for the perfect package.

They were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and the most genuine people we have ever met. The venue is amazing and we had nothing but rave reviews of the venue from all of our guests at our wedding. Our wedding day was so relaxing and low stress because of Aubrey ( Cricket Hill day of coordinator) and April. At the end of the night, Todd made my husband and I feel welcome, appreciated, and valued with his word of appreciation. I couldn't recommend this venue enough to any and all brides or grooms. e were a little overwhelmed to say the least. April and Aubrey are incredibly talented and knowledgable in everything they do and I knew from the minute I met them that we were in the best of hands. They truly care about their clients in both big and small ways- they checked in regularly and were so quick to answer any questions/texts/calls along the way. Things that I would have been trying to figure out for hours they helped me resolve in minutes. They were flexible as plans had to change and helped make sure our day was absolutely perfect. The venue is GORGEOUS both inside and out and we had plenty of space and options for both the ceremony and reception. As a bride, I had nothing to worry about on my wedding day- they had everything more than under control and it could not have gone any smoother. We feel so blessed to have been able to celebrate our day at Cricket Hill Ranch! Would 100% recommend this venue and staff to any and all future brides- we were beyond pleased!

The Groom thought the game room was a nice touch. So many options on the property on where you want to host the ceremony; very versatile which is needed with Texas weather. Very well kept place! from the yard to the building it is cared for with love.

April and Aubrey were there every step of the way ensuring that every question was answered, every precaution was taken and every detail was handled so that we were able to relax and enjoy the day. CHR was a perfect venue for us with its beautiful location and on site accommodations. CHR has both beautiful indoor and outdoor areas which gave us a lot of flexibility in planning the wedding and the Bride and Groom suites are amazing. area pre-wedding. Shot pool and watched football which kept nerves at bay. The reception set up outside worked great. We were blessed with clear weather. It was warm for October, but as soon as the sun went down it was nice. There was plenty of room for everyone to move around and visit. And when it came time for the dance party the barn worked out perfect. I also highly recommend the onsite lodging options. Very convenient. I heard multiple friends and family ask my wife how she found this venue and how beautiful it was. And in the weeks after have gotten more and more compliments that include praise for the venue. Overall I’d recommend Cricket Hill Ranch and April/Todd to anyone contemplating CHR for their big day.

Even during these crazy times when I was very nervous about having my wedding (I had a breakdown in March about if I should cancel), April personally called me and made me feel as comfortable about everything as possible. Even though we were both in the dark about COVID, she was so calm and kept up to date about the state and county requirements to make everything safe. It turned out absolutely wonderful and I'm so glad I had my wedding at CHR!

April is amazing, our daughter loved the venue, and April’s calm confidence and flexibility was great, especially for a young bride. April provided a day of coordinator and that made a big difference, as I could enjoy the time getting ready and being with my daughter and her bridal party. Everyone who came is still talking about how beautiful the wedding was and how much they enjoyed themselves. Recommend with the highest confidence!

y set up and took down all of the chairs and tables, provide all of them, cut and served our cake, and even took care of decorating for us! They provide a wedding coordinator with the rental of the venue. Zoe was incredible! We lost our venue two weeks before our wedding because of COVID and April and Zoe saved us! I planned my table decorations for farm tables instead of rounds. Zoe and April took my decorations and made the most beautiful centerpieces and I didn’t have to come up with a new design! It was amazing to have that off my plate. Everything we could possibly need they took care of and treated us like family. The venue is STUNNING!!! I felt that we had a perfect wedding that was classier and so much prettier than the original venue we had selected. The venue is on a ranch were you don’t see any other buildings, and it made us feel so safe during COVID. Our guests felt the same. It has a beautiful big house that we used for the dinner but can also be used as the ceremony area. We chose to get married outside and the pictures are incredible! We chose to have our dance in the barn under all the twinkle lights. My favorite aspect of the venue is how much seating there is outside under more twinkle lights where guests that I thought would leave once the dance started instead stayed and enjoyed the beautiful night. We also rented their “barndomenium” which is an apartment attached to the barn. We stayed there for 3 nights and it was so wonderful leaving the wedding and just walking into our apartment! They also let our dog, Penelope, stay on sight, which meant she got to be in our wedding. We also had our rehearsal dinner on site and I’m so thankful that we did. We had a taco truck come to the venue and had dinner in the barn and I loved every minute of it. The staff at CHR is incredibly nice and helpful. We never felt rushed but instead felt so welcomed. The bartenders were amazing and friendly and even brought a drink to me when we took pictures outside at sunset. I cannot say enough wonderful things about April. She is a kindred spirit, one that truly has her heart in the right place. It is truly a family environment where the team at CHR make you feel welcomed and a part of that family. At the end of the night I discovered they had already cleaned the bridal suite and groom suite for us and had placed my flowers all around our apartment for the night. I didn’t clean anything or pack anything up at all. If I had to do all of it over again, I wouldn’t look anywhere but Cricket Hill Ranch for our venue.

April and Todd have everything down to a science from setting up to mingling with your family. They are SO great! My husband and I plan on finding a reason to use this place again, not only because it's an amazing venue, but because we got to go visit the coolest people in the world who own it!

Ranch! When our daughter had us meet for a walk though- it was love at first sight! The venue is Beautiful and so are the owners April and Todd. These two clearly take pride in everything they have set out to accomplish . It shows! We met for a walk though and took a tour of the property and fell in love with everything from interior to the most amazing Hill country backdrops! Our daughter didn’t need to convince us any further. We recently had our daughter’s ceremony and our family and friend were so impressed with the care and service we received from the entire staff at Cricket Hill! Everyone was so professional and took great care of us. This venue accommodates everyone with its spaciousness. We had one of the BEST wedding planners Aubrey that clearly loves what she does because it shines through! I have to say now that the day is over we would do it all over, again and again at Cricket Hill!

Halfway through the list, it was clear there wouldn’t be a need to continue after meeting April and touring her property. She was genuine and her place reflected this. For my daughter, the bride, an extraordinary venue for an outdoor dream wedding was needed. We’d seen several venues that could provide a great location, but it was clear CHR would provide much more. Here, a true interest in her vision would be made a priority. For me, mother of the bride, her vision was important, but equally important was a venue that would demonstrate care, interest, expertise, and professionalism. It was critical that this be more than a wedding day; CHR would provide the wedding experience for not only the bride and groom, but also the wedding party, family, and guests. CHR exceeded our expectations - it provided peace of mind. The property is spectacular for a ceremony The ability for the bride-to-be and her girls to stay on-site the night before was beyond convenient The spacious, well-designed bridal suite accommodations for the bridal party, and hair and makeup artists was everything The spacious room for the groom and his best guys was so much more than a room – it was exceptional, allowing for plenty of space for dressing, visiting, a game of pool, and celebratory toasts. April and the CHR staff met every one of our needs and then some. Working with Aubrey, our coordinator, was such a pleasure. She listened, and never tired of our list of thoughts, wants, and needs. She continually offered valuable input. Throughout the year of planning, she always made herself available and was quick to offer exactly what was needed….advice, input, and more importantly, honesty. She was instrumental in my daughter’s vision becoming a reality for everyone to become a part of. The once in a lifetime wedding (weekend) experience went off without a hitch. And, many of our wedding guests made two new friends in Dripping Springs.

we met April, my husband and I truly felt at home and cared for. We pulled up to the venue and it took our breath away. It's even more beautiful in person! With options to have an indoor or outdoor ceremony, CHR is extremely versatile and can be tailored to fit any couples style. Throughout the whole planning process, April & Aubrey were always available to talk and quick to respond with any questions we had. We had hoped to have an outdoor ceremony by the big tree, but weren't able to do so due to the cold weather. However, April & Aubrey went above and beyond to accommodate the last minute change. The day of went seamlessly and we couldn't have asked for a better venue and team to make our wedding day dreams come true. April and her team at CHR make you top priority! If you want a team that will work night and day, treat you like family, and support you on your journey as a married couple, do yourself a favor and book with CHR.

April, Tom, and Aubrey were very helpful from the day we booked all the way to the day of. My only recommendation would be to use outside bartenders. We did not have the best experience with one of the bartenders provided; some of the behavior was actually quite embarrassing to the guests who witnessed it. The issue did get handled and that was appreciated. Would highly recommend!

st going to nickel and dime us to death; which was true. Everything was 'you can do this for a fee' or 'we'll charge you for that.' Not at CHR! What you see is what you get! April and Aubrey are a great team; Aubrey answered all my ridiculous questions and April is so accommodating. Our wedding was beautiful and our guests commented on how much fun they had, how beautiful the venue was, etc. Aubrey's nature to swoop in and fix a problem is such a great quality in a wedding planner. When I chose to go with a random hair/makeup person and that lady started acting shady about money, Aubrey took care of the problem in one phone call. (Huge help for someone who avoids confrontations.) Aubrey also saved the day during the wedding, when me 2 year old niece/flower girl decided to sit down before she got to the aisle and almost had a melt down. Aubrey grabbed her and walked down the aisle with her. It was perfect and so cute too! Get married at CHR, nothing else compares!

Since we got married in November it was important for us to have the flexibility to do an inside our outside venue since the weather can be a little unpredictable. Cricket Hill gave us several options for where we could do both the ceremony and reception. We ended up being able to have it outside at sunset. The string twinkle lights under the big tree made everything look magical. Best day ever!

memories, I wanted to give a five-star shout out to Cricket Hill Ranch. They were the perfect venue for our son’s wedding. Cricket Hill is a wonderful Texas hill country outdoor and indoor venue. The grounds were classy yet relaxed and spacious, with numerous areas to sit and hang out. The ceremony was outside under the beautiful oak trees, the dinner inside and comfortable, the bridal party photos were knock-out beautiful in the Texas grasslands, the dancing started on the outdoor patio at sunset, then all headed into the barn where the party rocked! The venue comes with a wedding planner and Aubrey was totally awesome, keeping things flowing and adjusting where needed. She also provided a preferred venue list, and they were all great to work with. It really helps that we had full choice in catering, and could bring in drinks to keep costs down. Tip: Verdis! Wow, their food was amazing. Cricket Hill is a family business and owners, April and Todd, take time to the event to make sure everything is going well. It's awesome that they only book one event per weekend and so we get more time on site and it’s relaxed. One other thing I really liked is that they have a bunkhouse and apartment on site. Since we had many families with young children, we booked the apartment and Aubrey arranged for a babysitter. Kids were able to chill out with a video and go to bed early and from parents got to enjoy their time too. I got so many thanks for this! Such a wonderful venue in so many ways! I can’t imagine this wedding happening anywhere else.
