coordinator is an awesome feature. She definitely helped keep the day running smoothly. Our only experience that was a little less than stellar was due to the fact that when we initially booked everything they were under different management. It caused some transitional friction as we got within a year of our wedding as things had changed between pricing, staff, and such. It wasn't something that stopped us from continuing our journey with this venue though as the current staff were willing to honor our previous requests.

Our guests couldn't stop talking about the stunning rock walls and the lush forest backdrop—it felt like a private oasis in the heart of Hocking Hills. Having the lodges right on-site was a game-changer, allowing our family and friends to stay together and fully enjoy the weekend. What really stood out was how helpful and flexible the staff were throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but the team at Crockett’s Run went above and beyond to accommodate our specific requests and ensured everything ran smoothly.  Thank you for making our special day so magical. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting or a better team to work with!

The venue itself is absolutely stunning! Having most of our wedding guests stay onsite made for the most special weekend. Everything ran so smoothly on the day of the wedding, allowing us to fully be present and enjoy every moment. is exactly that. They have a beautiful facility and property. We also rented the cabins for our guests to stay in. They were spacious and had everything we needed for our event. Crocketts Run was truly an amazing venue and property. April, Keegan, Kenzie, Molly and other Crocketts employees were available to help along the way and truly made our wedding day special. Hands down great customer service! We initially had our wedding ceremony set up down by the pond but rain was coming and thanks to Crocketts, they were able to quickly readjust our ceremony location to under the pines an hour or so before our ceremony, moving chairs, and decorations and speakers to keep our ceremony and wedding on time! WE are extremely grateful for Crocketts and their staff and highly recommend to anyone looking to get married in the Hocking Hills area!

Yes it was a little more complicated than we expected figuring out logistics and who would go in which lodging, but it was more than worth it to have a whole weekend getaway with our guests! We did our welcome dinner on-site as well, under the pines. Our guests had lots of compliments about the venue! The day-of coordinating went beyond our expectations. Our coordinator April is obviously very experienced and she and her team did an amazing job helping us set up, tear down, transporting the wedding party and guests to where they needed to be, keeping everything on schedule, stepping in to help with decorating... I can't even say everything they did, because they took care of things that would never have even occurred to us. Everyone was lovely to work with. I feel they went above and beyond, for example indulging our young nephew by giving him a ride in the golf cart which he was very excited about ;) We were a little worried before-hand because in the pre-planning meetings, who our coordinator was kept changing... they were going through some changes/staffing changes, but still, everyone was professional. We still enthusiastically give five stars because the venue itself is so beautiful and unique, and the day-of (rather, weekend-of) coordinating was excellent. I highly recommend this venue!

wedding of our dreams! The property is beyond beautiful! The pond, wildflower garden, waterfall, rocks and hills could not be more perfect! All of our guest have told us how much they loved the site. I would recommend this venue to everyone!! Before our wedding we had so much communication with the venue. We were able to discuss exactly how I wanted the day to go. They gave me so much advice and helped me pick the best vendors for catering, Cinema and florals. The wedding weekend was perfect from rehearsal dinner to the after party bonfire! We stayed on site as well as most of family and friends! The cabins are beyond gorgeous and well maintained. The getting ready space (fern room) was immaculate and had enough room for my large bridal party to get ready! The staff was professional and timely for the day of. There were no worries when I knew Crocketts run had it handled. We loved it all!!

rs. This was very helpful in asking questions that prompted our vision to come together. It's nice brainstorming for a big event with people who have expertise. Additionally they were very open to our non-traditional ideas for our wedding weekend and helped make it all come together! The staff on-site during the weekend and of course DOC Kirby made the whole event run so smoothly! I cannot say enough how relaxed and taken care of I felt during our big day. RESORT - We rented out the entirety of the resort for our weekend; it was a blast! I can't believe how fun it was to have everyone on site. We also had opportunities to gather in all the beautiful cabins and hang near the swimming hole. VENUE - We especially enjoyed being able to use Dave's Place and the adjacent patio for multiple events during the weekend (Friday welcome party, Saturday bfast food truck, Saturday afternoon/evening wedding). There were so many ways to make this wedding weekend our own; choosing where to have the ceremony, table set up for dinner, areas to put the bar, day of timeline. I liked being able to use different table options (rounds and rectangles, cake table) as well as indoor/outdoor use. We got married in the afternoon in front of the rock wall and the guests were all able to be seated in the shade, which I know they appreciated in June! Plus there's beautiful lighting options in Dave's Place and on the adjacent patio. It felt very customizable and the staff did such a good job setting it all up Friday during the day. We lived nearby, but all of our guests were pretty much out of towners. Guests will have to rent a car if they fly into Columbus/Cincinatti to attend the wedding. We ended up hiring the recommended trolley service which worked out well to bring guests from the hotel (we had a block at SleepInn) - uber/lyft/taxis are in short supply in Logan. Our vendors were all willing to travel from Columbus, so even though it's a little out of the way, we didn't pay extra for "travel" expense for anyone we hired. (Holy Crepes food truck, Dos Hermanos food truck, Chris Bowman photography, Russo's pizza). *I would recommend all of these vendors as well. Hope this helps in choosing a venue! We had a blast at our wedding. :)

most beautiful setting and I can't recommend them enough! I had a million questions the months leading up to the wedding and they were always very gracious and quick to respond. Meg + team were so helpful the day of our wedding that I didn't have to worry at all. They didn't have anyone checking in on Sunday so we were able to take our time getting out and reminiscing the day with our friends and family the next morning over coffee. I'm forever grateful for our entire experience with Crockett's Run from the initial planning stages all the way up to our wedding. They made us feel so special and celebrated us all weekend! Just typing this review has made me feel nostalgic for our wedding weekend all over again! Truly the best experience and most beautiful setting we could have asked for <3

past few years. They were all so prompt with our questions, scheduled plenty of phone calls, and were gracious enough for us to do a walk over of the site a few months before the wedding. I can’t stress enough how helpful Abbey, Kirby, Meg and the whole team was. They made everything leading up to the big day and everything day of go so smoothly. We weren’t stressed at all! The venue itself and the property in general is stunning. Plenty of places for beautiful photos! I can’t recommend Crockett’s Run enough. out me having a ring or having ever seen the venue in person because it just looked so perfect! We covered all of the necessary stuff in our calls with the venue and they were so helpful with any questions we had and bringing our vision to life on the big day! We had our wedding this past Saturday and despite not being able to have our ceremony outside due to weather, everything was still perfect! Abbey, Ciera, and Kirby handled a lot of back end things for us so we didn't have to deal with the stress of contacting and coordinating vendors and their arrival times, etc. which was a BIG help. The day of they golf carted us around so we could get to our first look photos in a beauuuutiful location and kept us on our timeline the whole time which was super helpful because both of our brains were scrambled eggs for most of the morning/afternoon. They handled everything during the ceremony and reception SO well on their own that I came up to them probably 10 times throughout the night to make sure everything was good since it seemed strange I wasn't needed haha. I can't recommend this venue enough and I can't wait to come back and stay at one of their beautiful cabins on our anniversary in the future! Thank y'all so much for making our day as easy and perfect as possible!

, we knew that was the place we were going to hold the ceremony and reception. Everyone there is so amazing and helpful! They made our special weekend so easy and stress free. Kirby and Abbey helped us throughout the planning process and were incredibly supportive of our vision and especially helped with areas where we didn't have much of a vision at all! Megan and Ben were great as well! Megan drove us around for pictures in a golf cart (which was so sweet in the July heat!!) The property is perfect and was great for our small ceremony and bigger reception! We can't wait to go back there and stay and hope more of our friends get married there so we keep having a reason to go back!

The wedding coordinators and staff kept us all on track the whole day and helped to make it a more stress-free experience for us. I would absolutely recommend Crocketts Run to anyone. I cannot wait to come back and visit for many more years to come!

utiful and worth it, but my bill did end up adding up to a lot more than I originally intended. The staff was very communicative and helpful. The only reason I wont give it 5 starts is because of the do it yourself aspect. Doing all of the set up and all of the clean-up when you just want to spend time with all of your guests is very stressful. If I did it over again, I would probably go for something that has it all in house. But to each their own. It was definitely beautiful!!

able to stay with our family and friends for the whole weekend to celebrate. The cabins are all within walking distance from the venue which made everything convenient! The reception space is beautiful and so is the entire property. I highly recommend them!

t’s a little pricey compared to other venues in the Hocking Hills area, but we felt it was worth it! Some of the Cabins/lodges could use a little updating, but they just got new owners a year and a half ago, so I know they’re getting there. I would definitely recommend this venue! We had a wonderful wedding there!

Positives: - Everyone we worked with from Crockett's was extremely helpful and so kind. - The reception building itself is nothing super fancy but yet so intimate, comfortable, and well kept. Loved the fireplaces! - Being able to bring in our own alcohol really helps keep costs down. - A good majority of our guests could stay on site in the cabins making it super convenient for them/us. - They allowed us plenty of time/access to the building to set-up the day before. This might not feel important in early planning but I found it to be critical for me to have a relaxing wedding day. You don't want to have to set up the day of! - We also had our rehearsal dinner on-site and a bon-fire. Again, super easy and relaxing! Things to Consider: - There are not a lot of wedding vendors in the Hocking Hills area so you are going to have to go with the 1 option for things like flowers, catering, etc. or pay extra to have people drive in from Columbus or other surrounding areas. We did a combination of both and all worked out great. Just made planning/managing costs a bit more complicated. - If you have more guests than what can fit to stay on site (we did), you are either going to pay a small fortune for a shuttle (see above point about nothing being in Hocking Hills) or they will have to drive themselves and not partake in the party as much. Uber and Lyft are not options. Technically Lyft has service but there is never anyone available from our experience. Probably like most brides, I wish I could have our wedding a million more times, and if I could, I would pick Crockett's again and again!

utdoor setting is a picture-perfect backdrop for the ceremony and Dave's Place is ideal for the reception. The staff was very attentive to our needs!

The cabins that are on the property are a must rent if you have people coming in from out of town we rented all 5 and they had just opened up another house the weekend before our wedding. had we had it available sooner we would have also rented that. the staff was so friendly and accommodating. the only down side is that the weekend flew by. my husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding venue. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

and Charlie that own the property also take on the role of wedding day cordinator. They were great.;They do not like smoking any where but outside the door by the ash trays. If Charlie finds to many buts in the grass and on the grounds he will charge you per butt.
