The staff at the hotel were all so helpful. Sandy was very easy to reach if I had any questions or concerns. There were always options to chose from in terms of colors for chairs, napkins, etc. If I had any changes that needed to be made, Sandy and the other staff members were very kind and accommodating. We had a small wedding (about 44 people showed up) and they had spaces for our ceremony and reception that were plenty big enough to suit our needs. As we had the ceremony portion of our day in the courtyard outside, the hotel had a back up plan ready to go just in case. It was comforting to know that they have the experience to be at the ready. We requested a room for the guys to get dressed in and that was no issue at all. We added unity candles at the last minute and they helped us out right away. The manager even shut down the pool during our ceremony so we weren't disturbed which was a delightful surprise as we were initially told that wasn't possible. My only hiccup with this ceremony location is that we had people watching from their rooms. It was a little weird but we were able to laugh about it later. Dinner was fantastic. Sandy let us pick what foods we wanted within the package we selected and it turned out wonderfully. Everyone enjoyed dinner so it was a success. The Beachwood suite the hotel booked for us was amazing. We had champagne and strawberries ready for us when we got done at the reception. It was a beautiful evening and I couldn't be more happy with our decision to hold our ceremony and reception at the Crowne Plaza in Worthington.

My husband and I were married at the Crowne Plaza Columbus - North Worthington in May 2015. Our ceremony was in the pavilion room -- all of our guests loved the indoor space with the feeling that you were in a white tent. Our reception was in the grand ballroom and we couldn't have had a better night. We worked with Sandy Muncy the banquet manager to plan the day. She was a wonderful contact to work with and made sure that everything we had asked for was done on the wedding. We had many guests with food allergies and they were flexible and accommodating.

We used this hotel for our ceremony and reception. The staff were friendly and very responsive in communications leading up to the wedding. Sandy Muncy was our coordinator and point of contact, she was always available and made sure that we got what we wanted. The hotel offers great value and was recently renovated. Guests loved the convenience of everything being at one place.

Sandy Muncy and the crown plaza team did an amazing job. The service was beyond outstanding and everyone raved about how beautiful our reception looked! Sandy did everything I asked and put up all the decorations that I wanted. Sandy is very on top of things and she made everything so easy!

We worked with Sandy and Loren. Sandy is the consultant/planner who takes you through every step of the process. You will get to know her well, she is quick to return calls and emails and if she has questions, she doesn't hesitate to contact you. You can rest assured your wedding will be exactly what you want! We had all our guests staying on the same 2 floors, we used the entire ballroom, we used the pavilion for brunch the next day, we had a hospitality room, several suites, and the bar. Every aspect was clean, well serviced, accommodating, and just perfect! Loren is the catering director and he was quick to please- which he did well! I have nothing negative to say as we got everything we wanted - it truly was perfect!

I had my reception in the pavillion (the permanent tent to the back of the hotel). We had about 200 guests. Krystin did a great job of working with us to plan all the details. Everything was arranged perfectly when we arrived. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious! We had a brunch buffet that included an omelet station, chicken, pastries, tea sandwiches ect. We also had mimosas & passed hors d'oeuvres. My guests were very impressed with the staff, who met them at the doors with mimosas & appetizers! My husband and I had a wonderful time - we did not have to worry about anything. I was even prepared a special omelet and other food in the back as I have a dairy allergy. They even had soy milk at our coffee/tea station for me! The only real glitch was that the air conditioning unit did not work for the middle of the reception. Being that it was an incredibly hot afternoon in June, the tent got pretty steamy! The staff did a great job accommodating for the heat, and fortunately we had an un-air conditioned ceremony @ franklin park so most people were dressed for the heat! Much thanks to the staff at Crowne Plaza - we had a great time!

From our first meeting with the catering manager, Sandy Muncy, we felt confident that things would run smoothly. She was willing to answer even the smallest questions when I called and as we got closer to the wedding knowing that I didn't have to decorate a reception hall or make extra calls to the caterer took away a lot of stress. They easily accomodated my mother who had to have a gluten free diet. A few days before the wedding I dropped off gift bags for our guests staying at the hotel and they all received one from the front desk staff when they checked in. I also dropped off the card box, placecards, and favors and they were all set up when we arrived at the reception. The wait staff was excellent and even the bartenders were dancing behind the bar during the party. Would definitely choose this hotel if I had to do it all again.

Not sure how much staff has changed, but the facilities were exceptional! We had our reception in the "outdoor" tent and had over 200 people, a dance floor, 2 bars, a buffet and dj booth, with plenty of room to navigate. There was electricity, air conditioning, lighting and the security of being indoors. There was a brief thunderstorm during the reception, but other than the "walls" moving a little and a small amount of water coming in underneath, it was perfect!!! The food selections were decadent, with full tastings and personal service. I had a guest with Cerebral Palsy and the waiter asked if he could bring some applesauce, since the planned meal was not appropriate. The family was amazed at the willingness to compromise after the event was already in progress. Efficient and subtle staff, as well.
