Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh South

Working with Ellen at the Crowne Plaza was one of our best decisions for our wedding. Even with some back and forth with coordinators during the process, she was more than accommodating with every email, call, and panicked late-night message. The entire staff checked in on us throughout the day before and of to make sure all of our needs were met. I HIGHLY recommend the venue for their customer service, great food, and beautiful space

I had my wedding here September 2022. Sharon and her staff were great to work with. The package basically covered everything. We just had to go to each vendor and tell them what we wanted. Overall great experience!

The Crowne Plaza is everything I was looking for in a venue and more. Starting with the communication, to the overall help I received, and to the day of, everything was perfect. The location was centralized to all of our guests and the accommodations and rooms were great. Sharon was our coordinator, and I can't say more great things about her. She was knowledgeable, helpful, supportive, and answered all of our questions effortlessly and really helped our vision come to life. She was there the morning of, and throughout the entire evening to make sure everything was going as they should. She made the process feel so easy and smooth and really was amazing to work with. The food was amazing and all of our guests complimented on how awesome the buffet, cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres and alcohol selection were. (lol). If you're looking for a hotel venue, I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South.

We had our daughter's wedding at the Crowne Plaza South on Oct. 8, 2022. The set up, decorations and accommodations were fine. The problem was the main course. In March 2022, six of us attended a food tasting for the wedding. All six of us agreed the Sirloin steak was better than the Filet Mignon. Both were very tender, but we did not like the seasoning on the filet, so we went with the Sirloin. (at the time we verified with the chef that the sirloin was sirloin and vice versa) On Oct 8, 2022, the entree was served at least one hour after the salad was served! The steak, which was cooked to medium, a little pink inside, was so TOUGH that you could not cut it with the steak knife provided. The potatoes included, truffled mashed potatoes, were also nothing like we tasted. They were a gob of thick, sticky potatoes. The chicken romano was good, but the redskin potatoes and green beans consisted of only 3 small pieces each on a plate. I voiced my EMBARRASSMENT that night and again after the wedding. My compensation were several verbal apologies and some extra points added to my IHG Rewards. Although the room was fine, I would definitely think twice about using the Crowne Plaza for a wedding. The food is big part of a wedding. This was a complete misrepresentation.

We had our wedding at this venue. We absolutely loved working with the wedding coordinator, Sharon. They were very reasonably priced, and the package took care of basically everything. All we had to do for the reception was show up with the favors and such and pick them up at the end. The vendors they use for the cake and flowers are also very easy to work with, and it was so nice have that cost counted in with the hotel. We are still getting compliments on the food and how nice the reception venue was. I highly recommend using them!

We had an absolute blast! The Crowne Plaza was so easy to work with and absolutely exceeded our expectations! We got so many compliments on the venue and the food! Sharon the coordinator was the sweetest and easiest person to work with! It was even better than I imagined! Thankyou so very much!

I had my wedding reception at this venue. The coordinator was very communicative and responded quickly to any emails or inquiries that I had. We were able to drop off our decorations the day before and the staff performed all of the set up. The ballroom was set up beautifully! We opted for uplighting and a monogram which elevated the space as well. We received numerous compliments on the drinks, appetizers, and dinner! The only note I have is that we opted for soup instead of salad since my husband prefers it, and it was room temperature rather than warm (but still tasty!). The venue staff was able to move the bars from the cocktail area into the ballroom for the reception which kept the party going all night long! The cake (Bethel Bakery) and table centerpieces (Donati's) were included in the package and were wonderful. The girls and guys both had getting ready suites in the hotel which made for awesome photos and a relaxing morning. I would not hesitate to book this venue! My husband and I wish we could relive the day!

My husband and I had the privilege to be the first couple to work with the new coordinator, Sharon Henderson, at the Crowne Plaza. Our reception was affordable, but beautifully put together, and the food was delicious! I kept getting comments that I was a "calm" bride leading up to our wedding, but honestly, there was nothing I felt the need to stress over since it was all taken care of. As an added bonus, Sharon helped us figure out how to bustle my dress in a pinch! Very pleased overall with everything.

The Crowne Plaza was absolutely perfect from the venue itself, to the food, to the wedding coordinator, Holly Goodman. This venue worked with us all throughout our planning process during the worst of covid to make sure that they were doing whatever they could to ensure that our day would be special. Holly is extremely professional and pleasant. Anything asked was looked into in a prompt manner. It was very clear to us when working with Holly how much she genuinely cared about making the details count. Our guests couldn’t say enough good things about how classy this venue was, how well everyone was attended to, and how delicious the food was. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Wonderful job and everything was decorated for the holidays. It looked beautiful everywhere you looked. The help and planning of our fairytale wedding went smoothly and we felt at ease with the entire process. The day of went very well, staff and waiters were professional and on top of everything. Sit down dinners are difficult. You dont want tables waiting long for dinners to arrive and everyone e was served in a timely fashion. Lovely and the room sparkled.

My husband and I were turned onto the Crowne Plaza by a family friend who works in the wedding industry in Pittsburgh. He told us the venue was beautiful, affordable, and the coordinators were the best in the city, and his advice definitely did not disappoint! I worked mostly with Kelli and she was amazing! She is organized, easy-going, and flexible to work around anyone's crazy schedule. When it came down to details, Kelly broke things down so the decisions seemed simple and came easy. Our package came with a variety of things included which made planning that much easier. All of the girls had a big hospitality room to get ready the morning of, which gave the hair stylist and makeup artist plenty of room in addition to room for the girls to relax. The staff sets everything up and takes everything back down. We have gotten numerous compliments on the venue, food, and service! We could not have asked for a better venue!

Kelli was so great at responding quickly to us and having everything ready for our wedding day! She made sure to keep in contact and she was willing to drop everything and meet with me to discuss details when i became very anxious with my planning. She is SO calm she is every brides saving grace! Kelli made sure that our wedding reception included all of the details we wanted and the night was better than what we had expected! The Crowne Plaza is the hidden gem for weddings in the South Hills! The prices also FLOORED us! For what you get per person- it’s a huge deal! Saved us thousands of dollars! The Crowne Plaza is the venue to book for any occasion!

We had a great wedding ceremony and reception at Crowne Plaza South! Kelli and her staff decorated the ceremony and reception space BEAUTIFULLY and everything ran smoothly. The food was also excellent! Kelli and Shauna are very nice to work with. I think this venue is also reasonably priced. We only ran into a few minor problems, which were resolved. To avoid any issues, here are some tips: 1) If you are making hospitality bags, make one large bag for each room. We made one for each guest and some guests didn’t get them because the staff accidently gave 1 bag per room. We made 50 bags and had about 20 left. 2) Do not count on the bar in the hotel lobby to be open for your after-party. If they deem your wedding guests to be too rowdy, they will close the entire bar for everyone. Have a back up plan for another after-party location. 3) You may want to avoid making shots for the “dollar/shot” dance. You cannot do straight shots, so me made about 120 jello shots. More than half of them got lost in the kitchen that night so we didn’t have enough for everyone. We had about 80 that were found the next day. 4) Lastly, keep track of charges. Some people were incorrectly charged for rooms (including myself); however, when brought to their attention, they fixed the charges. With that all being said, I do definitely recommend this venue because as mentioned before, the wedding ceremony and wedding reception were amazing!

If I could give more stars I would. Kelli was hands down the best of the best! From the first day we met her , I was hooked! From her personality to answering every million questions I had while planning over the last year to making sure every last detail I wanted was absolutely perfect !!! I can’t thank her and the staff at the Crowne Plaza enough! It’s a one stop shop kinda place! The florist , cake designer and so much more that they work with were out of this world amazing as well.

We just had our wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South this past weekend. I can’t even describe how wonderful the staff was throughout the entire hotel! Kelli & Shauna are amazing to work with and are so helpful when you are in the planning process. Kelli set everything up and listened to all of my crazy requests! We didn’t have to worry about a single thing the entire night! Michelle and John were there during dinner and until the very end and always asked us if we needed anything and took care of all of our guests. The bartenders and servers were all so nice and helpful. We got our cake and dessert bar from Signature Desserts and centerpieces from Donati’s. Both the cake and centerpieces are included in your package and are totally worth it! One less thing to check off your list! We were treated like royalty the entire weekend! We also had a brunch at the hotel the following morning for our guests and everyone loved the food and had a wonderful time! If you are looking for a location in the South Hills make sure you stop and check out the Crowne Plaza, you won’t regret it! We had an absolutely beautiful wedding at Crowne Plaza South! Kelli, the wedding coordinator, executed all of our ideas exactly the way we wanted them, all while being very easy going and professional. The entire Crown Plaza staff was amazing, from Kelli and Shawna, to Michelle and John the banquet managers, to the banquet staff, to the front desk staff and everyone in between. All of our guests raved about the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the excellent food and the seamless transition of events throughout the evening. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing, except for having the time of our lives! We truly had our dream wedding and would do it all over again at Crown Plaza!

My husband and I had our wedding at The Crowne Plaza on June 16th... we just got back from our honeymoon and I HAD to make sure I wrote this review right away. When we first started looking at venues, we weren't sure about The Crowne Plaza because it was the hotel by the mall near our house and didn't seem too special. When we went to visit, they were setting up for another wedding and we saw how beautiful it was, and our opinion definitely changed. In addition to that, Kelli seemed like she would be a dream to work with, and she definitely lived up to that. She is so genuine and kind, and I so appreciated that every conversation with her was like talking to an old friend. Even when we were months away and she had brides whose weddings were much closer than ours, she always made us feel like our wedding was the most important thing she was working on. Our wedding day was literally flawless, and it was all thanks to Kelli and her team. I can be pretty meticulous about details, but Kelli exceeded every expectation I had. From answering all of my questions and emails, to taking the boxes full of decorations and wedding items we left there the day before the wedding and turning them into the beautiful wedding that it was. I honestly cannot say enough about her and her team. The bartenders and servers were also amazing. They were so attentive to all of our guests. As for the actual hotel, you can't beat the package. We looked at almost identical packages as other hotels, but they were much more expensive. We used all of the vendors included (Donati Florist and Signature Desserts) and they were also amazing and the coordination between them all was such a relief to not have to worry about. The food was delicious! We did not hear one complaint from any of our guests. People absolutely raved about the butler passed hors d'oeuvres. As cliche as it sounds, our wedding was the best day of our lives and our guests can't stop talking about how much fun they had, and it is all thanks to Kelli. Cocktail hour and the ballroom were absolutely beautiful and we would not change a single thing if we had to do it again. She is truly a wedding miracle worker. We HIGHLY recommend The Crowne Plaza to anyone looking for a place to have their wedding. We are so grateful to everyone there for making our day so perfect!

The Crowne Plaza wasn't the 1st venue we looked at, but obviously it was the last. We immediately clicked with the coordinator, Kelli, which was a big factor in deciding to book this venue. We got married on St. Patrick's Day and she made our day everything we'd hoped for, right down to the green champagne! Kelli was attentive and responsive during the planning process, and clearly had the experience needed to guide us in the right direction, while also being flexible and open to our suggestions. Our 150 guests fit comfortably in the ballroom, even with the large dance floor. An added plus was having the cocktail area open and available during the reception, immediately adjacent to the ballroom, so guests could have the space to sit and chat while taking a break from dancing.

My husband and I had an amazing experience! It was stress free! Kelli listened to everything we liked and didn’t like and made our wedding so perfect! The flower center pieces were gorgeous, cake was delicious and elegant, food was delicious, ceremony was set up perfect! The staff was very helpful and kind. We loved the whole entire experience

Where do I even begin?!? The Crowne Plaza was the perfect place for our wedding. The location, price, service, and the wedding coordinator (Kelli Gorecki) cannot be beat. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception at the Crowne Plaza. Everything was absolutely beautiful and wonderful. Because of Kelli we had complete confidence in our wedding. She was always available and responded to every crazy call and email from me quickly and with so much kindness. Kelli is truly one of a kind. She helped us so much. We chose the Crowne Plaza over the other hotels because we could just sense that magic from Kelli when she was talking to us about our potential wedding. She went out of her way whenever she needed to and even when she didn't need to, to make every detail we hoped and dreamed for happen. She did it with kindness. This place wasn't the type of place where you ask for one thing and they tell you that will be an extra charge, that will be an extra charge, etc. She helped us plan extra details within reason to help us stay in our budget. So many of the details were taken care of to make it a low stress planning experience for us. We got married under a beautiful arbor structure and I know she bought that off of us. So anyone looking to have an outside ceremony, I believe they still have the tools to make your wedding just as beautiful. They provided a wonderful room for us to stay in the night of our wedding and I was able to rent it out the night before for after our rehearsal. Our rehearsal was awesome and we were able to stay out late drinking on the patio with our out of town guests and wedding party. They were very accommodating to us, our wedding party, and our guests. Once our wedding was over, us and our guests that were still up for partying some more were able to all go drink in their hotel bar super late. I had the best night of my life and it was so much fun. I owe my beautiful and fun wedding to Crowne Plaza, my vendors, and especially to Kelli. My only regret is how long it took me to come on here and review Kelli and the Crowne Plaza. I only wish I had thanked her sooner for how much she did for us.

We had our wedding at the crowne plaza in November. It was an amazing venue with even better customer service. Kelli, the wedding coordinator, is amazing!! She was so helpful through all the planning and we 1000% trusted her with our special day! The day of went even better than we could have ever imagined! I would highly reccomend this venue to anyone! We looked at a lot of places but with all the added perks, included upgrades and beautiful ballroom, we couldn’t pass it up!

My husband and I have been married for 6 months (8/11/17) and we are STILL receiving compliments on our wedding reception! The Crowne Plaza was hands-down the most complete venue we looked at. Kelli is amazing at what she does and she helped to create not only an elegant night, but an unforgettable one. We had over 200 people attend our reception and cannot say enough about the Crowne Plaza. All who worked their were extremely helpful and accommodating to us throughout the entire planning process and during the big day. The food was very good (we had a sit down meal) and was served hot and promptly. No one had to wait long ! We also loved the floral centerpieces which were provided within our package! If you want an all-in-one venue with exceptional customer service, look no further than the Crowne Plaza Pgh South!

My husband and I are both wedding pros so we knew exactly what we wanted when planning our wedding. We knew as soon as we met Kelli and looked at the packages that this was the place for us. The entire staff (including front desk, housekeepers, etc) at the Crowne Plaza were so friendly and helpful. Everyone was genuinely glad to help. Kelli was amazing during the entire planning process and John and Elizabeth were great throughout the entire evening making sure everything was perfect and helping us clean up. We are very happy and had a perfect wedding.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect and in LARGE part was all because of Kelli and the rest of the Crowne Plaza staff. From start to finish Kelli went above and beyond to accommodate us and was a joy to work with. Once we met with her we knew we wanted her helping with our wedding and no where else could compare. She put together a GORGEOUS event and we are still in awe. We had great interactions with all of the staff including Jeff who did an awesome job tending bar and John the assistant manager who also went out of his way to help us with anything we needed all weekend. He was so professional and friendly and we were so happy to have him there. All around awesome staff and we highly recommend other couples to plan with them!! Thank you for everything!

The Crowne Plaza South is hands down the most amazing place to have your wedding. My husband and I looked at one other venue before going to the Crowne Plaza and this place blew that venue out. My husband didn't say much when it came to choosing the venue but than we meet with Kelli it changed his whole tune. We left from meeting with her and he literally said book it because Kelli seems to know her stuff and nothing will go wrong. He was absolutely right!!!! She is amazing to work with and keeps you calm throughout the whole process. She will answer your calls or messages anytime of the day or night. Everything was included cake, buffet, bar, centerpieces, uplighting, chair covers, and lien which Kelli will inform you when you need to meet with them which makes it so much easier on you. I remember right before the wedding I was informed Kelli would be on vacation and was heartbroken but I got to meet with Shauna who was literally just as awesome as Kelli. I remember when we arrived to the Crowne plaza they only let my husband and I in to see the ballroom to make sure it was everything we want. Literally was completely breath taken on how amazing it looked set up and matched my colors perfect. We have got nothing about complements from all of our guests how amazing the food was, the bar tenders were amazing to how wonderful everything was set up and decorated. It makes me feel so good to hear from everyone how my wedding was the first wedding in the longest time people have been to was the best wedding they have seen. Also, Daniel and John literally checked on us all night to make sure the night was running correctly. They kept asking if we needed anything throughout the whole night. Made sure we always had whatever we needed. Last but not least they let us party in the lobby with our own coolers they even help get us ice to keep everything cold. We kept the lobby going until 5am. lol This is worth every penny we spent!!! You will not be disappointed if you pick this venue and you will have a night to remember. Amazing people to work with. I wish I could do it all over again because it was perfect!!!

Absolutely amazing venue to work with. They really do everything to make your life easy and stress free. They are great at answering questions helping you figure out all the random little things throughout the planning process. And day of my wedding the place looked beautiful I was so happy with how everything turned out.

Kelli and the staff were all a delight to work with! She is so easy going and we never felt pressured into anything! No tricks, no hidden fees. The reception includes the cake (with a whole dessert buffet!) and the centerpiece flowers each from Signature Desserts and Donatis which are both high end places! Our reception planning was much easier than expected due to the amazing work of the Crowne Plaza. Our day was more amazing than we could have hoped and everything ran so smoothly. Definitely would recommend having any event at this place :)

We looked at various venues when deciding where to hold our reception, and after our initial meeting with Kelli, we knew that the Crowne Plaza was the perfect choice. Kelli, Shauna and staff at the Crowne Plaza South were absolutely accommodating and helpful during our wedding planning process. Anytime that we had a question, Kelli always responded back in a very timely manner, which took a lot of stress off of us. We had a lot of special requests, and Kelli made sure that all were taken care prior to our big day. The day of our wedding, the venue was absolutely gorgeous. Both the foyer and ballroom looked like what we imagined. We received so many compliments from our guests on how great of a facility the Crowne Plaza was to host a wedding. We definitely made the right choice!!!

I was completely clueless as to where to begin when I was planning my wedding. I went to look at the Crowne Plaza because it was close to our home and seemed reasonable for our needs. As soon as I met Kelli, I knew this was the place for us!!! The hotel just underwent a renovation last summer and the ballroom is stunning. The package with the Crowne includes the catering, your cake from Signature Desserts, centerpieces from Donati's florist, all your linens, an open bar, cocktail hour before teh reception, set up and tear down, and you can book a room block for your guests at a discounted rate. You bring them what you want set up, and they make it happen. Kelli, the wedding coordinator, has a infectious personality and makes you always feel as if you are her #1 priority through all steps. Shauna also works with Kelli and you can contact either of them and they are always willing to help. The banquet staff is outstanding, my guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the service they received. Barry, the bartender, received high commentary from all of my guests, and LaJunta, Lynne, and Deb were our serving staff for the evening and all of them were just wonderful. My day was absolute perfection...I had ceremony and reception there and it couldn't have gone smoother. I was never stressed or overwhelmed throughout the entire planning process as I knew I was in good hands. The Crowne goes above and beyond for your wedding....you cannot do better than this hotel!!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect!! Kelli was amazing, and was a huge reason we chose the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South for our wedding venue. From our first meeting, we could tell that Kelli knew exactly what we were looking for and was the perfect person to make our wedding everything we wanted and more. And she absolutely did just that! She was always willing to answer questions and offer advice and support, and always responded to emails/phone calls within a day. Our wedding was BEAUTIFUL. The food was excellent and we received many compliments from our guests about it. We had a few special requests for our wedding and Kelli and her staff were all very accommodating and easy to work with. If we had to do it all over again, we choose the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South every time. We couldn't have been happier with how our special day turned out.

Where to start!? Kelli and the Crowne Plaza staff went above and beyond our expectations to make our reception not only perfect but a memorable evening for ALL of our guests! Kelli was very responsive throughout the whole planning process and did everything she could to take the stress of wedding planning off of us. The package is all-inclusive while there are still options to upgrade. During the dinner service, my husband and I did not get to eat much; what we did eat was delicious! A server noticed we didn't eat much and set aside some of the food for us to eat once the evening was over. Our guests did not have anything but positive remarks about the food, service, and rooms. We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding day more perfect than we could have ever imagined!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect! We got to sit back and relax and just enjoy it. Kelli and Shawna were both so easy and accommodating to whatever we wanted or needed. Kelli and her crew were amazing. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. We had a list of venues to visit but after seeing the hotel and meeting Kelli, our search was over. We received so many compliments on how beautiful everything looked and how delicious the food was (especially the ranch dressing). An added bonus of the hotel being pet friendly, allowed us to share this special day with our dogs. We couldn't be happier with how everything came together, it was simply perfect.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our wedding at the Crowne Plaza. Working with Kelli was amazing. She answers emails within a day, and I can't believe how wonderful our reception room looked when we arrived. We didn't have to set anything up or take anything down, it was all taken care of. It was also super helpful that the flowers and cake were worked into the contract at the hotel. Our guests raved about the food, and we were extremely happy with our overall experience. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others in the future.

Our wedding was absolutely amazing! Kelli was so easy to work with and she was able to make my dream into a reality. You couldn't get a better price at any other hotel. Everything could not have been more perfect.I would highly recommend the crowne plaza Pittsburgh south. If I could go back I would do it there all over again!

If you want a fabulous wedding that will not cost you an arm and leg, this is the place to go. Kelli who is the director of catering and also the wedding coordinator is superb. She has definitely found her calling and that is make your event or in our case wedding to go as smoothly as possible. She was always helpful and is a truly lovely person. The appetizers were delicious and many of the guests said they would have been happy just to eat those. The actual dinner was beyond expectation. They do not skimp on size nor taste. The food was fantastic. All the guests were impressed and said it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have attended. I love the staff and especially Kelli....a big thank you to them all for making this a memorable day for all. We had the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. Why go anywhere else when you have perfection in one place.

Our daughter held her wedding reception at the recently remodeled Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South. To say it was an amazing event is an understatement. Kelli (Director of Catering, Wedding Specialist) was phenomenal, patient, ingenious and most importantly - extremely professional. Her flexibility in working with us was superb and second to none. She promptly returned calls and emails. She even rectified a significant error on our part the afternoon of the event and no one was the wiser! The venue was amazing, the food delicious and the service impeccable. Throughout the event, the day prior, day of and day after, the staff was friendly, helpful and professional. What could have been a stressful time was actually fun, invigorating and virtually effortless on our part. I highly recommend this venue for any event. While the wedding was a month ago, we still receive positive feedback on the reception. Thank you Kelli and team!

We recently had our wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza, and could not have asked for a more perfect evening! Kelli, the wedding specialist, is absolutely amazing. Her upbeat and fun personality sold us on the venue, and she kept everything simple and organized so that our wedding planning was worry-free. The ballroom was decorated beautifully, the food was DELICIOUS, and the staff was attentive and helpful. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about our reception. Not to mention, it was very reasonably priced compared to many other locations we looked into. Would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza for future brides!!!

We loved our wedding! We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out, BEAUTIFUL! Kelli is the wedding coordinator there and she was amazing! She took care of everything for us from decorating, to displaying our cookie table, and went above and beyond to always return emails and phone calls within a few hours that same day! she took just about all the stress out of wedding planning and made it really fun for us and we could enjoy the process fully knowing she was handling all the big stuff for us.

I cannot say enough positive things about Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South! The hotel was recently renovated and is absolutely beautiful. Kelli Gorecki, the wedding coordinator, is FABULOUS! She was so responsive any time we had a question and always seemed to know exactly what we wanted. She was the main reason we selected Crowne Plaza for our reception, and we are so glad that we did. It was truly breathtaking when we saw the venue all set up on the big day. Everything was perfect and no detail was overlooked. The food was incredible. We received countless compliments from our guests on how great the food was. It came out on time and was cooked perfectly. The banquet staff and bartenders were great and took great care of not only the bridal party, but the guests as well. For everything that was included in the package, along with the quality of everything, we got an amazing deal. Book Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South, you won't be disappointed! Kelli gave us the wedding of our dreams. :)

I could not have asked for a better reception!! Kelli was amazing and was with my every step of the way and through every meltdown. The entire staff at the Crowne Plaza were helpful and never blinked an eye when I had a request. The food was amazing and the entire place looked like a fairy tale! I can not believe it is already over but I would not have changed anything about it. For everything that is included and all that they do for their brides, this was a steal of a venue! Ladies, jump on this one because you won't fine another venue like them! If anything went wrong that day, I honestly would have no clue! All around five stars!

Kelli did an amazing job with our wedding. She answered every question I had during the whole planning process. I loved working with her. She made our reception so beautiful. Our guests keep commenting how beautiful everything was. This place is an amazing venue for a wedding reception and it is extremely affordable. The food was also amazing. No one had a single complaint about the food.

Overall, the hotel provided what we needed and when we needed. The block price was a very fair price as well. Great after party spot at the tiki bar!

I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South to any brides! Kelli, my planner, was so helpful answering all my questions and was so accommodating for all of our and our parents special requests. She made everything stress-free and allowed me to really enjoy all the planning. Colleen was the manager on duty and was there all night at the reception and right there when I had any questions or needed anything. Which allowed me to have fun all night and not worry about anything going wrong. The whole weekend of my wedding the staff at the Crowne, from the front desk, servers, bartenders to housekeeping made me feel like the most important person staying in their hotel, even though I knew that wasn't true. They were all so friendly and helpful. We had a huge bridal suite, which made the whole day feel like a real fairytale. One of the things I liked most about using the Crowne was everything that was included in the price. I used the bakery they had included in the price, which was delicious and so easy to work with, they organized the delivery, and I used the florist included and they were amazing as well. It made it easy to have everything there and not have a ton to take home at the end of the night. All of my guests have been raving about how great and hot the food was, which doesn't always happen. I don't know how they did it but all the steaks were hot and done perfectly. Everything looked beautiful and all of my guests said it was the best wedding they have been to, which says a lot because we have a ton of weddings in our family. This venue is a must see!!!

We recently had our wedding reception at the Crowne Plaza and could not have asked for a better experience!! Kelli Gorecki is the coordinator at the hotel, and she is phenomenal. She was available for meetings and by phone/email throughout the planning process and made things so much easier for us! The wedding package at the Crowne Plaza is a great deal...it comes with quite a bit included (for example, the cake and floral centerpieces), making the planning process much less of a hassle (we planned from out of town). Finally, Kelli is not only competent and professional, but you can tell that she loves what she does, and always has a smile on her face! It was great working with her. Having her around to ensure the reception itself ran smoothly was a huge relief. We could focus on our guests and enjoying the evening while Kelli handled the small details and things that came up throughout the reception. Having the reception in the hotel was perfect for the large number of out-of-town guests we had as well. Room reservations were handled seamlessly. We heard great things from our guests about their overall experiences at the hotel. I highly recommend this venue!!

We recently had our wedding at the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South and could not have imagined it anywhere else for our special day! Kelli, the Coordinator, was so detailed and organized with the help of planning the big day that it took a lot of stress off our shoulders. She was very quick with responding, as I sent her numerous emails asking questions, going over what we wanted and just general information. Everything about our wedding was perfect! Plus, every guest loved the food and couldn't stop talking about it! I even had a college roommate love how great our wedding was that she and her fiancé booked their wedding at the Crowne Plaza for this fall!

Kelli is by far the kindest, most professional, and fun coordinator to work with! She made planning our reception so easy and enjoyable! I am fairly picky and definitely over-organized and crazy detail-oriented, and Kelli made sure to listen closely and make me feel at ease! Everything we discussed she executed perfectly! Any last minute things that I needed help with, Kelli was there and took care of and with a constant smile! The food was amazing! Our guests raved about how delicious it was! I did not have one single guest complaint!

We had our reception at the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South. We had so much fun and it was a worry free wedding. Kelly G at the Crowne was on top of everything and we knew everything would be just how he imagined!

I would highly recommend the Crowne Plaza South to other brides. The staff and service was great there. I loved that a florist and baker came with my package. It made my wedding planning a lot less stressful. when I had an issue, I would just e-mail Kelli, she would respond quickly and have the problem resolved. The reception looked beautiful. It was nice to have it in hotel so my guest could drink and not have to worry about driving home.

I recently used Crown Plaza as my wedding ceremony and reception site. My husband and I were very pleased with the staff, specifically Kelli Gorecki, our wedding coordinator. She ensured every detail was attended to; she was also very professional and organized. Kelli took care of everything and made the whole wedding planning process as stress free as possible. So many guests complimented that the ceremony and reception were beautiful! I highly recommend this venue if you're considering a hassel free and beautiful wedding.

Easy to work with. Only compliments from everyone that attended that it was beautiful, dream, best wedding they have attended. Food was delicious and hot. Only two minor issues: thought wedding party was to be served from the buffet but had to go through the line and had thought the staff would breakdown cookie/candy table for us to transport to room after event but family members had to take care of that with some help from staff. I would book here again and highly recommend for those looking to have all inclusive package. Kellie was excellent and patient!

The service is second to none and most importantly the wedding coordinator, Kelli Gorecki - was phenomenal from start to finish. She was well-organized and made the experience seamless & enjoyable. Saying she "took care of us" is an understatement. She and the staff went above and beyond to treat my guests as well as they treated myself and my husband. It was truly amazing! I would recommend them to ANYONE getting married in the Pittsburgh area!

My now husband and I chose the Crowne Plaza South as our wedding vendor because of the location and all of the services it provided. It was a little more money then we had wanted to spend, but totally worth it for all the services given. They work with a local florist to provide the flower arrangements for the tablets (which were beautiful) and also the cake that is again working with a local bakery, and it is part of the package. The food was amazing. Sometimes at weddings you can tell the food has been sitting in a heat locker for awhile (I worked in catering so I know this is usually the case), but the food tasted so fresh and great! I was completely pleased and we had many compliments about the food as well. The package also included an open bar, which everyone appreciated. The hotel provided a reasonable discount on a block of rooms. The hotel does have a bar/restaurant and a tiki bar outside during the summer months. My husband and I loved that we could still hang out with all our friends after the reception was over and we didn't have to go far. I think all of our guests that joined us liked it as well. Kelli, the wedding coordinator was so flexible and amazing, She gave great suggestions and was very creative. The day before our wedding when we dropped things up like table favors and the guest book, Kelli took care of setting everything up. We didn't have to do anything! My husband and I would recommend this venue to everyone! We had so many compliments of how beautiful everything was and Kelli helped make our wedding day seamless! thanks again to the Crowne Plaza South and their team for helping make our wedding day memorable and so much less stressful!
