The whole venue was absolutely beautiful, we fell in love with the interior of the building and all the rooms we used turned out great. Our guests had a wonderful experience. Overall I would recommend Crowne Plaza and can’t wait to return in the future.

Our guests were impressed with the hotel rooms and enjoyed the health club and other amenities at the hotel. My husband and I had a lovely suite the night of the wedding, and look forward to our complimentary room on our first anniversary. The variety of indoor and outdoor spaces made for amazing photos! We were thrilled with the whole experience. I highly recommend the Crowns Plaza!

dinner Friday to the gift opening on Sunday morning in one place was the way to go! We heard nothing but wonderful things from our guests about the hotel, food, and staff. Based on the interactions I had with the staff, they were kind, polite, and accommodating. I would recommend Crowne Plaza without hesitation!

All of our guests commented how amazing the food was and the staff that was helping us was wonderful to work with. They helped make everything go by smoothly as well. I will definitely recommend this place to any other couples that are looking into a hotel to host their reception, definitely was one of the more easier choices we had to make during the whole wedding planning! I worked right by the hotel for years and I knew that I wanted to have it there. Most of our guests commented how big the hotel was also!

The Scandinavian Ballroom was beautiful, and my personal attendants were able to get into the room early for some additional decorating. The reception staff did a great job and our guests raved about the food. Crowne Plaza was great to work with, totally recommend this place for a wedding reception!

our 2020 reception, by 2021 the coordinator was gone, and the catering director was terrible with communicating to us and her staff. Found out 6 weeks before the reception that we could not go into the space to set things up until 1.5 hours before people were supposed to come due to them scheduling a corporate meeting in our venue space. In 2019, we were told we could get it the whole day and maybe even the night before. Day of staff were amazing. Catering director did not give them our layout of where tables should go, so my mom had to direct the staff of the layout and the color of napkins for dinner. But the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The food was delicious! Kudos to the chef! But, the catering director did not let us know of the pairings of foods (meat, starches, veggies) and was going to charge $150 per plate. She also had us taste test the wrong meals as she did not communicate the change in our request (with plenty of notice) to the chef. Presidential Suite was disgusting. Confetti from a previous guest was everywhere in the suite and multiple grapes were found laying on the ground. Many complaints from our guests that hotel staff/front desk staff were very rude. Majority of our hotel guests did not receive our hotel welcome bags we made for them. Overall, just poorly managed. Had a great indoor/outdoor venue with great staff the day of, BUT the hotel was gross, rude front desk staff, and there was A LOT of stress with the planning due to disorganization from the catering director who has taken over the wedding coordinator position.

is absolutely beautiful, and despite not being able to have an outdoor ceremony (due to weather), we were able to move the ceremony indoors last minute. Our guests had nothing but rave reviews about the venue as well as the quality of service by the wait staff. I would highly recommend a wedding at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West!

I never considered them for a venue (I had already picked one out), but I imagine they deliver high quality with that too!! Jeanette B was my contact for my room block, and she was always on top of things. She'd send me updated lists of who reserved rooms under my block anytime I asked. Pat A (concierge captain) helped coordinate the shuttle for my out of town guests to/from a nearby restaurant the night before the wedding(free service) and we also reserved the shuttle for getting guests to/from the wedding venue on the day of. He was so friendly, upbeat, welcoming and responsive. Kellen, our driver both nights, was also phenomenal. Our guests loved this hotel and so did we!! Lots of good memories made here :)

The catering staff was amazing to work with, and always willing to answer questions. They guided us through the process, made sure our needs were being met, and stepped up to help whenever they could with odd requests. I feel like I didn't have to do anything on the day of, it was all taken care of by this excellent group. Not to mention they know most of the local vendors - I didn't have to coordinate much on my own, they took care of it! I couldn't be happier with how everything went.

Overall I would say the Crowne Plaza was one of the best choices I could have made for our by wedding day. It was perfect.

Once the wedding day came, everything went flawlessly and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They set-up all the decorations, the favors, the gift table and everything! So, all I had to do was enjoy the reception. We even got to have a bonfire during the reception.

Kim (our coordinator) was so on top of everything and without her, our day would not have gone as smoothly as it did. It rained that day, so we had to move our ceremony inside, but they had a perfect back-up plan and everything was seamless. The hotel is beautiful and they even set up all of my centerpieces/decorations for me! I would definitely recommend them to any bride!

ff truly want you to have the wedding of your dreams and will pretty much do anything to help you achieve that. The venue itself is very beautiful and you have 3 rooms to choose from to hold your reception. We choose the Scandinavian Ball Room to host our wedding reception for 215 people. This room appealed to us because it was secluded from the rest of the hotel, offered direct access to the outdoors for those that needed to cool off, another separate area for people to sit and rest and hold conversations in a more private area and the reception room itself provided enough room for people to move about and I heard countless compliments from people about how easy it was to be able to hear conversations even though our DJ was playing music at a decent volume. The food was amazing as well. I just can't say enough nice things about this venue.

disappointment on the day/night. They made too many mistakes and did not give their staff clear directions of what we wanted. I'm sad and disappointed by their lack of listening, promises and leadership to the staff. They also were not dressed professionally, according to the comments I heard from our guests.

to spend the weekend. The on-site cafe has great food, the lounge has comfortable seating and a TV, the rooms have Sleep-Number beds, the parking is spacious, etc. The caterers were incredibly accommodating. My dad, some of my guests, and I have serious food allergies, and CP accommodated them all with special recipes, allergy warnings, and alternative meals. And when my husband mentioned that he liked warm brownies with his ice cream, they jumped at the chance to prepare a special plate for him. The food was wonderful! No dry chicken or bland wedding food! The price was better than anything else we saw.
