eception were perfect, and everything flowed so nicely (from the ceremony, to our cocktail hour, to our reception). Our guests raved about the food (the smoked Gouda mashed potatoes were THE BEST) and our specialty drink (the strawberry sangria). They were so accommodating in setting up the tables and spaces we envisioned, and the staff set up our centerpieces for us, so we did not have to worry about that the night before or morning of the wedding. We were able to have our rehearsal for the ceremony in our space the night before, and we were also able to have a room reserved the morning after the wedding to open up gifts with our family and friends. The suite for our wedding night was BEAUTIFUL. The space for the bridal party to get ready was awesome (both men and women)! It ended up raining quite a bit of the day on our wedding day, and I wasn't even worried about pictures because there was plenty of fun/pretty space inside the hotel for us to do our pictures. The staff during our reception was wonderful - so nice, professional, and fun. If you're looking for a place in Springfield where you can have your ceremony, reception, and don't want to worry about your guests having to drive anywhere - this is the place! I cannot say enough good things about the Crowne Plaza.

As a new bride, I would not have made it through the planning and arrangements without the unbelievably outstanding Director of Catering, Audra Burks. She helped to add the special touches to our day and had great ideas and suggestions when we didn't know what to do. She was also always available for those last minute questions and concerns we had too! And you won't be disappointed with their surprise special touches either and I will leave those details for you to find out for yourself. We highly recommended the Crowne Plaza for your special day or any other occasion for that matter. You will not be disappointed!

Audra Burks, the catering manager, helped us with questions and planning from the first day we walked into the sales office inquiring about wedding services. She answered all of our questions in the months leading up to our wedding, and was there with us on our day ensuring everything went as planned. We got married on the rooftop of the plaza with a reception in the ballroom to follow, and guests stayed at the Crowne the night of the wedding. It was easy, convenient, and literally every guests we talked to was raving about their experience. If you book with the Crowne - you can rest assured you are getting the best venue in the area for weddings. The staff knows what they are doing, and they have you covered.

ell! We had our ceremony on the rooftop, and then a cocktail hour and reception for almost 200 guests. It was a GREAT one stop venue which made it much easier for us and all of our guests (many who also got a room and stayed the night at the hotel). Not only did we do the whole planning process with 6 months, but the Crowne Plaza pulled it off without a hitch. Their Director of Catering, Audra, is wonderful! She is attentive, has great attention to detail, and is on top of her game 100%! Audra & her staff were flexible & easy going during the planning process, yet come wedding day they were all business & kept everything running smoothly & on time! During the reception, the wait staff was EXCELLENT. Very attentive, very professional, and very kind. Finally, the food was delicious; we had so many guests tell us after the wedding how good their pork & chicken was. We truly felt like royalty on our wedding day. All the hotel staff was so nice to us and our guests, and we felt spoiled & pampered the whole day! We loved having our wedding at the Crowne Plaza!!!

or the same price!! Audra helped us out so much. We had no idea where to start, but every time we met she would make sure we were on track!! She was very welcoming to us, something we didn't see from other establishments, being that we are lesbians. There was never a moment that we felt out of place or put on the back burner. She made our day exactly what we imagined. Audra also helped to make the morning of as smooth as possible. The only thing we could do, is make sure everything was the way we wanted. And weren't allowed to lift a finger lol. We wouldn't change one single thing!!! Thank you so much to Audra Burk and her team @ The Crowne Plaza !!!!

wedding venue. She went above and beyond her duties to see that every detail was in order which made our wedding a day we will never forget. We met with her several times prior to the wedding reception to have the food tasting and go over specific details and answer any questions we had. The food by the Chef at the Crowne Plaza was very good, and he even made the bride’s dinner request of homemade corndogs! Because we had multiple guests from out of town, we utilized the hotel accommodations and enjoyed a post-wedding brunch the next morning. We have heard and continue to hear nothing but great reviews from our guests related to the food, service and venue for the weekend. We would highly recommend Crowne Plaza for future brides and grooms to have and enjoy a beautiful wedding celebration.

brunch would be provided for our guests free of charge and that did not happen. The day of the wedding we were told this by the coordinator..that was embarrassing for us and for our guests.

enterpiece vases have disappeared and have not yet been returned and it was a bit costly. But, the fact that they clean everything up and give us a wonderful room the night of the wedding was fantastic!
