zach was amazing to work with, he would email back asap and I never felt like I needed to worry about anything. the whole staff was amazing.

Everything at the Crowne Plaza was wonderful! Our coordinator (Zach) was always so helpful and patient whenever I had any random questions for him. The space for our ceremony and reception were perfect, and everything flowed so nicely (from the ceremony, to our cocktail hour, to our reception). Our guests raved about the food (the smoked Gouda mashed potatoes were THE BEST) and our specialty drink (the strawberry sangria). They were so accommodating in setting up the tables and spaces we envisioned, and the staff set up our centerpieces for us, so we did not have to worry about that the night before or morning of the wedding. We were able to have our rehearsal for the ceremony in our space the night before, and we were also able to have a room reserved the morning after the wedding to open up gifts with our family and friends. The suite for our wedding night was BEAUTIFUL. The space for the bridal party to get ready was awesome (both men and women)! It ended up raining quite a bit of the day on our wedding day, and I wasn't even worried about pictures because there was plenty of fun/pretty space inside the hotel for us to do our pictures. The staff during our reception was wonderful - so nice, professional, and fun. If you're looking for a place in Springfield where you can have your ceremony, reception, and don't want to worry about your guests having to drive anywhere - this is the place! I cannot say enough good things about the Crowne Plaza.

We worked with Alison Rohde planning our daughter's wedding. Alison was the perfect mix of professional and personable. We had to deal with many different food allergies, but she was very responsive to our questions and requests, and the chef was able to accommodate all of our needs. We received many compliments on the food, and the serving staff was very helpful.

We could not have been more pleased with everyone and everything at Crowne Plaza! The service was excellent, the food was amazing, the decor and arrangements were beautiful, and they all did everything possible to make our day extra special. All of our guests raved about the food we chose for our wedding, how beautiful our reception was there, and how nice and helpful the staff was. As a new bride, I would not have made it through the planning and arrangements without the unbelievably outstanding Director of Catering, Audra Burks. She helped to add the special touches to our day and had great ideas and suggestions when we didn't know what to do. She was also always available for those last minute questions and concerns we had too! The Crowne Plaza in Springfield, IL gave my husband and I our dream wedding. Every detail was accounted for from the uplighting to the decor - to the vegan food entree, and we ran in to absolutely no issues or last minute fires on our big day. Audra Burks, the catering manager, helped us with questions and planning from the first day we walked into the sales office inquiring about wedding services. She answered all of our questions in the months leading up to our wedding, and was there with us on our day ensuring everything went as planned. We got married on the rooftop of the plaza with a reception in the ballroom to follow, and guests stayed at the Crowne the night of the wedding. It was easy, convenient, and literally every guests we talked to was raving about their experience. If you book with the Crowne - you can rest assured you are getting the best venue in the area for weddings. The staff knows what they are doing, and they have you covered.

My husband and I had our wedding at the Crowne Plaza in Springfield, IL about 3 weeks ago and we would recommend to any of our friends & colleagues to have their wedding there as well! We had our ceremony on the rooftop, and then a cocktail hour and reception for almost 200 guests. It was a GREAT one stop venue which made it much easier for us and all of our guests (many who also got a room and stayed the night at the hotel). Not only did we do the whole planning process with 6 months, but the Crowne Plaza pulled it off without a hitch. Their Director of Catering, Audra, is wonderful! She is attentive, has great attention to detail, and is on top of her game 100%! Audra & her staff were flexible & easy going during the planning process, yet come wedding day they were all business & kept everything running smoothly & on time! During the reception, the wait staff was EXCELLENT. Very attentive, very professional, and very kind. Finally, the food was delicious; we had so many guests tell us after the wedding how good their pork & chicken was. We truly felt like royalty on our wedding day. All the hotel staff was so nice to us and our guests, and we felt spoiled & pampered the whole day! We loved having our wedding at the Crowne Plaza!!!

Alison and the whole Crowne Plaza staff was so accommodating to all our requests and did an excellent job organizing and setting up. We were simply able to enjoy our day! The venue is gorgeous and the guests said the food was wonderful! Highly recommend them for a wedding!

The Crowne Plaza was the best thing that could have happened to us!!! The best place in town to get your money's worth!! Most places just offered a keg, and a few bottles of wine for the same price!! Audra helped us out so much. We had no idea where to start, but every time we met she would make sure we were on track!! She was very welcoming to us, something we didn't see from other establishments, being that we are lesbians. There was never a moment that we felt out of place or put on the back burner. She made our day exactly what we imagined. Audra also helped to make the morning of as smooth as possible. The only thing we could do, is make sure everything was the way we wanted. And weren't allowed to lift a finger lol. We wouldn't change one single thing!!! Thank you so much to Audra Burk and her team @ The Crowne Plaza !!!!

Best place to get married in Springfield, IL hands down! It was big enough and had rooms for all of our out of town guests, the food was amazing, the ballrooms were stunning, and their sales team cannot be matched.

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Audra and the rest of the staff at Crowne Plaza. Audra was very professional, organized, and helpful with planning our wedding venue. She went above and beyond her duties to see that every detail was in order which made our wedding a day we will never forget. We met with her several times prior to the wedding reception to have the food tasting and go over specific details and answer any questions we had. The food by the Chef at the Crowne Plaza was very good, and he even made the bride’s dinner request of homemade corndogs! Because we had multiple guests from out of town, we utilized the hotel accommodations and enjoyed a post-wedding brunch the next morning. We have heard and continue to hear nothing but great reviews from our guests related to the food, service and venue for the weekend. We would highly recommend Crowne Plaza for future brides and grooms to have and enjoy a beautiful wedding celebration.

A wonderful place to have a wedding reception. Management and staff catered to my daughters every request. Alison took care of all the details so that my daughter and son-in-law could enjoy the day. I would recommend the Crowne Plaza to anyone that is considering a wedding reception.

We had a beautiful reception, and the staff was excellent. We met with the wedding coordinator several times prior to the event. The only negative was that we were told a breakfast brunch would be provided for our guests free of charge and that did not happen. The day of the wedding we were told this by the coordinator..that was embarrassing for us and for our guests.

The venue was beautiful and our wedding coordinator there, Karleen, was great! Things turned out very well and I was quite pleased! My only issues were the fact that some of my centerpiece vases have disappeared and have not yet been returned and it was a bit costly. But, the fact that they clean everything up and give us a wonderful room the night of the wedding was fantastic!
