Jessica was the best decision we made throughout our planning! She is much more than a wedding coordinator. From the moment we booked her she made planning our destination wedding so much easier. From vendor recommendations to helping with minor details. She took so much off our plates that allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding planning process because we knew she had our backs and that we could trust her! No matter how busy she was she always made time for our questions, concerns, and ideas. We knew that with her as our coordinator we did not have to worry about anything. My entire family was impressed with the her dedication to us and our wedding. We ALL loved working with her. She made our Charleston wedding more than what we ever dreamed it could be. She really cares about her brides and making sure they are stress free throughout the process and especially the day of! During the reception she made sure my husband and I had drinks. Even went to find flip flops for me because I wanted to take my wedding shoes off. It is the little details that she does to make sure her bride and groom are taken care of that makes her so special to work with. She was on top of every detail with all of our vendors from start to finish and we cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us. She made our wedding day so special. When I say everyone loved her I mean everyone. From the bridal party, our families and even our guests noticing and commenting on how awesome she was! She is more of a friend than a wedding coordinator and we couldn't imagine our day without her!

Her genuine nature and attention to detail stood out, and she was wholly dedicated to ensuring everything was perfect. Despite the challenging weather on our wedding day at the William Aiken House, including torrential downpours and lightning, Jessica remained calm and worked tirelessly to ensure everything went smoothly. The rain was insane, but she made the best of it, allowing everybody to laugh about it and embrace the weather. We love Jessica so much! I can't recommend her enough to anyone and everyone!
From the moment we booked Jessica for our wedding, we knew we were in good hands. We booked Jessica as a partial planner but she was there for us throughout the entire planning process. Jessica expertly recommended vendors and helped us navigate the logistics of planning a blank slate venue. She was extremely communicative, even over a year out, and provided expert advice throughout the entire process. During one of our visits to Charleston, she attended our tasting with us and even brought us to the rentals showroom so that we could see our table settings in person. Jessica made sure that we had everything covered so that we could relax and enjoy the day. On the day of our wedding, I did not have to worry about anything because Jessica was 12 steps ahead of me the entire day. She truly made the day memorable for us and we could not have pulled it off without her!

My daughter’s destination wedding in Charleston was so perfect, and in part a HUGE thank you to Jessica for helping my daughter with so many aspects of wedding planning. Jessica always promptly answered our many emails, provided suggestions for choosing local vendors, worked with our budget, offered excellent ideas and created a flawless wedding timeline. She wrangled the wedding party through a perfect rehearsal, breezed through any family dynamics, completely set up everything we personally brought for the wedding ceremony and reception! She had everything in place for the day of for the entire wedding party, and we never had to think about anything except relax and enjoy the day! Jessica was always there making sure the bride and groom, family and wedding party had drinks and appetizers while taking pictures after the ceremony. She directed our guests to where they needed to be, and they commented to us on how efficient, professional and genuinely sweet Jessica was throughout the entire day and night. Jessica also collected all of our personal belongings at the end of the night, and helped pack them in the car!! She truly is an amazing Wedding Coordinator!! And I should know because I too am a Wedding Coordinator, and she goes above and beyond on EVERYTHING! If you are looking for an expert who can execute your dream wedding, Jessica is who you need!!!
My husband and I got married in February (2024) and choosing Jessica with Cruz Coordinations to be our wedding planner was the one of the BEST decisions we made! Jessica is affordable, smart, and professional. She went above and beyond to make our day flawless (if there was anything that went “wrong” we had had no idea!) She responded to all of my questions in a timely manner and was extremely organized. When it came to our big day, one of my biggest fears was the weather…. Jessica went out of her way to make sure I wasn’t anxious about anything. She organized the rehearsal and our crazy wedding party flawlessly. All of the small things that did for us on our wedding made us feel so special! Jessica had a tray of all of the passed Hors d oeuvres we missed while we were taking photos during cocktail hour…. She made sure we had to go boxes for our hotel room etc. Jessica and her team made sure my husband, our parents, and myself had the drinks we wanted all night. She did such a fabulous job that our parents were even blown away. We would have been lost without her and are so grateful for her!!! Don’t hesitate to book Cruz Coordinations! You won’t regret it!

From our first phone call, I knew she was the one! Hands down, the best wedding planner there ever was! Jessica is more than a planner, she treats you like a friend. She is incredibly responsive and a consummate professional. Anytime you have a question, she provides the most comprehensive answer. At the start of our outdoor reception, we had an unexpected storm roll in off the coast--fast and furiously with high winds and sideways rain. Jessica leapt into action and made some quick decisions to ensure that our event was as minimally disrupted as possible. Undoubtedly a highly stressful situation for her, but as a bride, all I ever saw was her calm demeanor and a warm reassuring smile. Even in what I can only imagine was pure chaos behind the scenes, she still continuously checked in, made sure we got to enjoy our hor d'oeuvres and our dinner, and always kept a drink in our hands! I didn’t worry about a thing! She is simply AMAZING! We had a magical night and a wedding dream come true!
I can't even begin to explain how awesome and how thankful we are for Jessica Cruz and Cruz Coordination. Right from the start Jessica made us feel welcomed and we could tell that she wanted our day to be just as special as we wanted it to be. Great communication and coordination, down to the last detail. She always had an answer and great advice along the way. Jessica was truly the MVP of our wedding! We were on the fence about getting a planner, but ultimately had to because of our venue - and we are SO GLAD that we had Jessica! I was pretty much never stressed throughout the entire planning process. We were able to fully enjoy our engagement because we weren't overwhelmed with wedding planning! Jessica let us know exactly what information she needed from us, what decisions we needed to make and by when, and gave all of her expert opinion in guiding us for decisions! We never had to worry about forgetting an important detail, because Jessica was on top of it. She was incredibly professional and responsive, but was also just the nicest person which made it seem like you were working with an old friend! On the day of, she was an absolute life-saver. She took care of overseeing all of the setup, was there anytime I needed her for a last-minute dress mishap and figuring out how to put on my veil, and when we had an accidental glass breakage, she was there in seconds with a broom to sweep up the glass! She also was continuously checking in on us to make sure we always had a drink, got a chance to eat, and that we were having the best night ever! I cannot recommend Jessica enough. She was by far our most important vendor and worth every penny. If you want someone who will execute your dream wedding flawlessly at a reasonable price, then Cruz Coordination is the way to go!
Working with Jessica to coordinate our wedding day was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. We decided on her partial planning services and from day 1 she was so responsive and informative in every decision we made. She provided so many options when it came to vendors, helped us get discounts with rentals, brainstormed ideas for rain plans, transportation, ceremony flow, and so much more. My husband was deployed through much of the planning process, and I cannot express fully how much it meant to me to have her be so excited during the walk through, tastings, linen selection, & other decisions while he was gone. Jessica went above and beyond during our wedding week - coordinating with all vendors, our venue, and us - to make sure everyone was on the same page. The rehearsal was so organized, all our people knew exactly how things would run day of and Jessica was so approachable if people had questions. Without a doubt, Jessica Cruz is the BEST wedding coordinator in the business! I feel so very fortunate to have found her to help plan and coordinate my daughter's wedding at Magnolia Plantation Carriage House one month ago today. Jessica was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the wedding planning journey but she and her staff were truly amazing on the day of the wedding. She orchestrated an absolutely fairytale wedding for my beautiful daughter! From day one, Jessica has been a wealth of knowledge and so kind to work with. When its time for our second daughter to marry, my very first call will be to Jessica!
How do I begin to describe Jessica? Fantastic, knowledgable, fun, kind, organized, and amazing are all simply an understatement.
After phone interviewing various planners, I immediately knew that Jessica was my girl just after the first few minutes of talking. She was extremely professional yet I felt like I was also talking to a good friend! My husband and I live in New York full time and were very nervous to plan a wedding from afar. Jessica made this extremely easy. Her organization through various schedules and documents helped keep us on track and consider things we never would have never thought of ourselves. She was always on top of getting in touch via email, text, and phone call.
When we finally met in person, a year after we started working together, it was like meeting up with a best friend. We chatted about all things wedding and got to know each other over drinks and great food. This was by far one of the best parts of my wedding planning experience!
Jessica kept in constant contact with me throughout my wedding week. The day before the wedding, I texted Jessica panicking because the weather was supposed to be terrible. Jessica immediately eased my nerves and took care of everything. Even in strong winds and cold/rainy weather, she made sure every flower, napkin, decoration, and food item was in place. Not to mention, she checked in constantly with me and my husband to make sure we had everything we needed.

Jessica is hands down the absolute best wedding planner. She really listens to any concerns, questions, or suggestions you have about the big day. We hired Jessica for the month of wedding planner and she was on top of everything! What makes Jessica different is that she went out of her way to walk one of my guest a couple blocks from the venue to their car. That right means the world to me! I recommend Jessica to all brides!

From vendor knowledge to decor ideas, she made the planning process seamless and was there every step of the way to answer any questions we had. I can not even begin to explain how much I would HIGHLY recommend Jessica for a wedding planner. When I started planning our wedding Covid wasn't even around and we were planning a destination wedding. Jessica was able to recommend all of my vendors (which were all just as amazing as her) and kept me organized planning a destination wedding during a pandemic. I wasn't able to travel to Charleston as much as I wanted during the process (covid) but Jessica made everything so easy doing it all virtually. One of my biggest concerns from the beginning was that my brother was going to be our officiant so I needed someone who could really guide us through the ceremony process. When I told her this she was so on board with it and so supportive and helpful (of course, it all turned out perfect!). There are so many details to the wedding that I didn't even think about because of her. Her organized timeline for the day of was a life saver for our families and bridal party and us too. She was responsive, informed, supportive, fun and energetic throughout the whole process. I would say I was most impressed with Jessica on the day of (which is hard to say because I was so impressed the whole time). I literally did nothing for myself on the day of! She was at the venue in the morning organizing all the vendors and every time I saw her she was asking me what I needed (usually it was a glass of champagne, which she always had for me!). She knew exactly what to do and where to be and made me feel like I knew what I was doing. I can't even put into words how amazing she was to work with. I text her the night before the wedding (at 9pm, when nothing was open) wanting to add some outside heaters to the venue. She immediately took care of it and had the heaters at the venue the next morning at 9am (She's magic I tell ya!!) I could keep going on and on about her but you need to find out for yourself!!! If you want the most carefree, enjoyable day of your life HIRE JESSICA!! My parents were also very very pleased with her and everything she did for them. She always made sure to meet our families and take care of them as well. She seriously thought of everything!! Our day wouldn't have been as perfect without her!!
WHERE DO I EVEN START? Jessica is AMAZINNNNNGGG. Planning a destination wedding during a global pandemic was less than ideal, but Jessica made everything so much easier. I am extremely disorganized and a huge procrastinator which is probably a wedding planners worst nightmare, although I would have never known it working with Jessica. She was so patient, organized, kind, helpful, and reassuring. I truly thought I was going to have a stroke the week before my wedding since my guest count was dropping like flies, but Jessica kept me calm and helped me to rearrange our seating chart and rental order 70000 times. She is only a "partial" planner, but I felt like she did SO MUCH for me down to providing sparklers for our wedding exit that I WAS SUPPOSED TO ORDER AND DIDN'T. My wedding would not have happened without her. If you are questioning who to hire for your wedding planner, STOP HERE AND HIRE JESSICA ASAP. You will not be disappointed.

Well here we are, September of 2020! What a year to have a Charleston destination wedding planned for last April, then rescheduled to Sept. 18th! A real challenge to say the least!!! And who was our leader navigating us?? Jessica Cruz!
We have three daughters and this was our 3rd and last wedding to plan. All I can say is, from start to finish, Jessica provided us with by far the best experience ever! She was so professional, yet very personable. Her attention to detail, every detail, was amazing! She was calm throughout and we knew we were in great hands at all times!! When we were forced to postpone the wedding due to corona, she contacted all of our vendors to make sure they were open for the new date and was so helpful in passing on any discounts that they might offer!
Every single Vendor that we selected from her list was outstanding to work with! After planning 3 weddings, I have a bit of experience working with caterers, florists, lighting and rental companies, and these Vendors really exceeded our expectations!! We received comments all evening like, “the best food we’ve ever had at a wedding”. and “ the flowers, lighting, etc are just gorgeous”!
I am someone that always notices the details and “sweats the small stuff” and the whole week of, I felt totally relaxed and worry free! All of that is due to Jessica and her staff.

Planning a wedding in Charleston when you live in Florida can be very challenging. Fortunately for us, I stumbled upon Cruz Coordination by way of another wedding planner who mainly dealt with weddings of 200+ guests. When a wedding planner recommends another wedding planner to you, chances are they are name dropping someone great from experience or word of mouth. Enter Jessica Cruz... If I had a place to write a headline it would read "Meticulous wedding planning done by your best friend."
Stumbling upon Jessica Cruz was the absolute luckiest and best thing that could have happened for us and our special day. She is meticulous, thorough, engaging, supportive, loving, caring, thoughtful and more importantly she treats you like family. Its almost like our wedding was her own. Jessica Cruz is the first and last person I would recommend to anyone for wedding planning although I know she is probably excellent at many other things. For you brides out there, one thing you must know is that my wife had ZERO complaints and no issues with our wedding day. My wife still raves on about how amazing Jessica was and what a phenomenal job she did for us. For a coordinator to pull off a flawless wedding at Lowndes Grove with lots of moving parts means she is absolutely a consummate professional. If I had to do it all over again, I would have Jessica Cruz plan the whole thing again.

Jessica is amazing!! A tropical storm came through the day of my wedding. I landed in Charleston a couple of days prior to the wedding and Jessica went into full gear to put together a plan B for my outdoor venue. She was able to find a clear tent (hours away) and put up sides since the winds were supposed to be up to 60 mph. Even though the whole plan changed just 2 days before, Jessica was able to make the inside of the tent truly magical. I was completely at ease because I knew she would make it perfect and she sure did deliver!! She is amazing! Not only day of, but she helped my husband and I through the whole process of planning and didn't forget a single detail. She is super organized and well connected with all the vendors in the area. I cannot recommend her enough!! Best decision!
Jessica was my daughter’s wedding coordinator October 5, 2019. She was invaluable in this process. Jessica gave us options for the things my daughter knew she wanted and made suggestions regarding other vendors, etc., some necessary, some optional. Jessica was never “pushy” and respected our wishes and facilitated my daughter having her “dream” wedding. The day of the wedding Jessica took care of everything from scheduling to vendors and assuring everything was the way we planned. We just showed up and had a great time. She responds promptly to questions and any issues that arise. I highly recommend Cruz Coordination!!
Working with Jessica and team was a dream! Jessica is so organized, professional, and always has a great attitude. She thinks of everything and makes sure no detail is missed. Because of Jessica and her team, our wedding day was stress-free. To be specific, here are some of my favorite things about Jessica. She has top-notch vendor recommendations and she doesn't let just anyone go on her list. Everyone she recommended was wonderful to work with but she was also excellent with our vendors/friends involved in the wedding as well. She contacted everyone involved and made sure all were on the same page. Her experience and knowledge of vendors was so valuable. Secondly, we really appreciated that Jessica gave honest opinions. She always steered us in the right direction, keeping in mind our budget and wasn't afraid to push back for our benefit. She's the expert - trust her opinion. Lastly, Jessica is a ton of fun and looks out for your best interest. On our wedding day, Jessica and Heidi were so attentive, organized and joyful. They made sure we stayed hydrated and happy ( I love how they would dance on and off the dance floor to give us water and drinks, never letting the party stop.) They roll with the punches and mishaps (as are bound to happen) with grace and poise. I cannot recommend Jessica enough!
If you are searching for a partial planner, or are trying to decide *whether* to hire a planner, I cannot recommend Jessica enough! We had a big backyard wedding, and Jessica went above and beyond to help us make the day a great one. She is prompt and incredibly detailed in her communication, amazing with the timeline and layouts, and was instrumental in organizing the numerous rentals a large outdoor event requires. When, in a crazy turn of events, our neighbors planned a wedding for the same night, Jessica graciously helped us rework our plan for another space. While we hope no other couples (or Jessica) have to go through anything similar, the fact that she was able to handle the shift with such aplomb (and, in fact, helped make our plan B even more magical!) testifies to what an amazing planner and person she is. She is fantastic at balancing details and the big picture, and noticed so many things in the planning and week-of setup that made the day all the better. We are incredibly thankful to her for helping us to create a night beyond our biggest dreams.
Jessica is a real life Wonder Woman. We planned from out of state and every means of communication with Jessica from the very start was such a pleasure! I have never met a more organized human being—she truly knows how to run the show leading up to, and on the day of a wedding. Jessica went above and beyond to make sure every detail was hit and every box was checked off. My entire wedding party kept commenting on how fantastic she was, everyone was truly impressed. I can't tell if it was the sheer happiness of us surrounded by family & friends, or just how much I loved working with her (perhaps a mix of the two), but I felt compelled to hug her at every interaction on our wedding day. She was so thoughtful in making sure we were taken care of, we were so thankful to have her there! Needless to say wedding planning is no easy task and planning a destination wedding simply adds more complications. Jessica executed our wedding day flawlessly. Throughout our engagement she was responsive and her attention to detail was outstanding. There was not one stone left unturned. I was most impressed with our actual wedding day and how smoothly everything ran. My husband and I had a destination wedding in Charleston. We did a lot of things ourselves but felt like we were running out of time when we hit the one month mark! That is when our venue (Cannon Green) suggested we reach out to Jessica as a day of coordinator. It was the best decision we could have made. Being that close to the finish line our budget was getting tight and it was hard to justify any additional costs. Let me tell you, It was money well spent! She helped keep us on track and organized my ideas. Between an extensive questionnaire and working together on a timeline all the details came together seamlessly. There were so many little things that I wouldn’t have thought of without her help. Jessica allowed my Husband and I to enjoy our day and not worry about anything. Hey everyone! If you're looking for a wedding coordinator I can't say enough great things about Jessica Cruz. She was so helpful and amazing!!!! She was with my husband and I anytime we needed anything and was particularly helpful getting a less than responsive vendor to answer us. The day of my wedding I didn't lift a finger, she did EVERYTHING imaginable!! At the reception she kept my husband and I with a drink in hand all night. She even helped wrangle our ring bearer, a lovable but wandering dachshund, during the ceremony and pictures. I also feel that she really cared for us. The photographer snapped a shot of my mom watching our first dance and in the background is Jessica with a look of happiness on her face that almost rivaled my mom's. If you were on the fence about getting a coordinator let me just say that there is no way I could have navigated the Charleston wedding scene without her help!
Jessica is FANTASTIC! We could not have made a better decision while picking a wedding coordinator. We got married at Magnolia Plantation's Veranda a couple of weeks ago and Jessica made it completely stress-free for us. She knows the area, the venue, the vendors, the whole science behind the wedding logistics and a whole lot of other stuff that you (or Google!) don't! She also has certain discounts with the vendors in the area and connections in the industry, which helped a LOT. She pointed out the things that we need to worry about and the things that were minor and guided us through the whole process without being either pushy or controlling. This was the best investment out of all our wedding expenses and we could not be happier with the service and the treatment that we got, which was so much more than what we anticipated!
Jessica was absolutely fantastic as our wedding coordinator! She helped us from day one with insight on catering services, event rentals, hotel blocks, etc. She was super helpful with the design and layout of our wedding - always including images to help us visualize our wedding. She took the hassle out of contacting/communicating with all of our vendors. Jessica was also money conscientious - including ways to save money/cut costs. Jessica Cruz is AMAZING AT HER JOB! I was so nervous about planning my wedding, especially as an out-of-town bride, but Jessica was there for me every step of the way, from planning and picking vendors to FLAWLESSLY executing everything the day of! Jessica knows so many tricks and tips about planning a Charleston wedding, that you would only get from a seasoned professional like her! For example, a couple of days before the wedding, due to the weather, the bugs were out of control at my venue. Thanks to Jessica I was able to get a last minute bug fog of my venue (something I never would have known or thought to do). THANK GOD for that suggestion - who wants to be covered in no-see-ums at their beautiful outdoor wedding? Because I am a realist, I was prepared for a couple of things to go wrong the day of...but thanks to Jessica and her wonderful assistant, nothing did (or, if it did, she made sure that I was BLISSFULLY unaware...and still am)! She worked tirelessly to make sure that everything was perfect and exactly what I wanted. She is organized, efficient, professional, calm, sweet, fun, and everything that you could ask for in a wedding planner. I am SO grateful that I picked Jessica and got to work with such a lovely and talented person to plan my wedding. Book her now...I promise you won't regret it!!

Jessica was an absolutely pivotal part of our planning process and wedding day! We had our wedding at Magnolia Planation and their event manager, Leanza, recommended Jessica to us. There is no better planner, particularly for that venue, as Jessica previously held Leanza's position so she knows every single detail about the plantation. Initially, I thought we would be able to cut some corners on the budget without a planner but as the date got closer I decided to just go for it. I am so glad we did. My husband and I live out of state so Jessica took a ton of stress off my shoulders. Jessica handled my ever changing mind, constant questions, and chaotic family all in stride. The day of the wedding Jessica helped drive my husband and I to a specific location on the plantation for our first look while she kept the entire wedding on track. She even ran to the the bridal suit in the rain for my sandals and put them one for me when I was tired of my heels! She went above and beyond to make our day perfect and she completely succeeded. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jessica and one hundred percent recommend Cruz Coordination!
We booked Jessica closer to my daughter's wedding date because I realized I could not do everything . Jessica was great about late recommendations for certain vendors, and organizing everything with the vendors I already had. On the day of the wedding, Jessica took control of tying together all of the personal things we wanted for the wedding. She's a hard worker and wants your wedding to be perfect! I highly recommend Cruz Coordination!
My review is quite similar to what others have said and truly, I cannot say enough good things about Jessica. My husband and I live in NYC so planning a wedding from afar was bound to be difficult. I wanted to choose the details, but knew I needed someone to focus on them once the wedding day came. Jessica was recommended to us through our ceremony/reception site and after our initial conversation with her, we knew she would be a huge asset to planning and executing the big day. I am so impressed by how much she is able to juggle. Everything was perfect and our guests were raving about her organization and ability to make the wedding go off without a hitch. I was stress free and did not worry about a single thing (other then the heat). Do not hesitate in having Jessica as your planner!
AMAZING...I don't even know where to start with all the great things I could say about Cruz Coordination. From her bag full of anything you could ever need on your wedding day (including a hand-held steamer we needed last minute for my veil) to her organization of all the minor details I wouldn't have ever thought of...the service is simply top-notch and worth every penny (plus some). Cruz Coordination helped us figure out a detailed timeline of our wedding day, managed to get us free flower petals from our flower vendor at the last minute, responded to all questions/concerns quickly, arranged and placed all items we brought throughout the wedding venue, coordinated all of our wedding vendors on the big day and communicated with them the month of our wedding....I could go on :-) We had a huge wedding party and Jess did an amazing job of coordinating everyone at the rehearsal dinner and on the wedding day. I knew that our destination wedding was going to be awesome and it definitely was thanks to Cruz Coordination - having her by your side takes so much of the stress away and I simply couldn't be more thankful for everything she did at our wedding!
