Crystal Beach Weddings

We hired Crystal Beach Weddings for our ceremony and reception in October 2022. After going back and forth with multiple companies we vibes best with them and they seemed more interested in making our day as special as possible. They say you hear from your coordinator 30 days prior to the event and this is very accurate. Although, anytime I had to contact someone prior to that time I always got a response. Our wedding location was amazing! No public beach access, it was private and our reception was GORGEOUS! They took every detail I discussed with them and turned it into a reality. Photographer and caterer was also very impressive. To be honest we had an overall great experience with this company and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to get married in the Destin area.

We got married in Destin, May 2022. From the very start, CBW had piss poor communication. I paid a $700+ deposit & then couldn’t get in touch with anyone for 2 months. Left voicemails with no call back, then the mailbox became full, had to Facebook message & email multiple people to finally get a response. Once I was able to speak with someone, it was too late to do any upgrades to our package due to other bookings on our wedding date. Believe them when they say you can’t speak with a coordinator/planner until about a month before your wedding. We opted to rent their Pearl Room to have a small reception & to have a place for family & friends to go to afterwards. I paid an additional $2000 to rent this room. They wanted to give it to me from 1PM-10PM. Mind you, our ceremony was at 6PM & I was having to spend majority of the day getting ready so when was I supposed to have the time to set up? And it would only leave us about 3 hours to utilize it. I spoke to the manager Geoff & he was able to move some things around that morning to accommodate me which allowed us to get the room a little earlier that day. While on the phone with him, he also notified me of a noise ordinance for 10PM but if we wanted to turn down the music & just hang out, we were more than welcome. Thank you Geoff, really did appreciate your help! Fast forward to the day of our wedding… I go to the Pearl Room that morning to start setting things up & notice the speaker they had in there didn’t work properly. I contacted Lori, the wedding organizer, to let her know so they could replace it. Any interaction I had with her, she was so rude. But anyways, her response to me was that all of their other speakers were already spoken for that day because they had other events going on. I insisted them correct the issue because if not, then what was I paying them for?! They did end up placing it for me. So thanks. We finally get to the ceremony… the set up was nice, not quite what was expected. But whatever at that point. We adored our officiant, Roy Mills! They got that part right. Our photographer was nice but we definitely felt rushed with him taking our pictures & we really didn’t like that. We get to the Pearl Room & everyone is dancing & having a great time. In walks Lori right at 10PM & told us we needed to shut everything down because they needed to clean up. Remember, we were told we could have turned the music down and just hung out. Well Lori wasn’t having that & literally sat in the room until we picked everything up and everyone was gone. Just very unpleasant & unprofessional. A few weeks later we receive our wedding photos & again, we are dissatisfied. Not saying our photographer wasn’t talented, but I just tried explaining to CBW that people hire photographers/videographers based on their preferences & styles they like. We had no idea who our photographer would be beforehand so there was no way of viewing his work prior to our ceremony & deciding if we wanted to spend the extra money to hire our own. But we paid over $3000 for our ceremony & trusted that the pictures would be top notch & to our liking. But I guess that’s on us for assuming. We eventually got all unedited photos & will try to fix them, but there are still plenty of poses & shots that were missed that we can never replicate again. We were highly disappointed in how everything played out but we just have to remind ourselves of what that day was all about.

Booked our wedding with Crystal Beach last Fall and it was the best decision we ever made! This company truly cares about your event and is willing to go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. Tom did an outstanding job with the catering, and our coordinator was always there to help with all of our many questions (sorry haha!). We will be recommending you guys to any friends and family looking to have a wedding in Florida. We had a fabulous time and look forward to the rest of our pictures!! Thank you everyone!

Made the decision to use this company for my wedding and reception since Covid had affected our original plans. We are so pleased with how everything turned out and the communication that we had throughout the process. They truly care about what they do and bent over backwards to accommodate our needs especially during Covid and all the changes we had to make. We are so pleased with our decision to go with Crystal Beach. They were so helpful with everything and took the time to make us feel comfortable as we were planning from out of state. The wedding was amazing and everything turned our better than we even expected. We chose the Bonfire package and our guests were super impressed with how it all looked. The set up was beautiful and all the vendors were amazing. Our photographer was the best and made sure to incorporate our ideas for the sunset poses which was special to us. We highly recommend using Crystal Beach Weddings, my husband and I had our dream wedding, thanks to all there hard work!

Crystal Beach Weddings was nothing but exceptional through our wedding planning process. They even allowed us to change our wedding date due to Co-Vid (with no extra charge) the wedding was beautiful. All our decor selections were beautiful! I would highly recommend this company to any couple looking for a Destin FL wedding!

Great company! I was most worried about having a wedding company that would have good communication as we were planning from Louisville Kentucky and it was stressful due to distance. Crystal Beach Weddings made the planning process a breeze and truly care about making your wedding feel special! I cannot say enough and love love love these guys! Cant wait to get my photos the sneak peaks looked incredible I would definitely use there photographers too!

Horrible communication! We set up an appointment with Rhonda Ramey and drove from Alabama and she did not show up due to complications with her dog. She sent someone else in her place. If you are not planning on using the location they provide then they will not provide a service. It was said to us that we could sign a contract with their location and change it to our location at a later time when we decided where all of our guest were going to stay. We signed and put a deposit down. We booked a condo, changed locations and informed the company and months later they say they can not do it there because it was public beach. We only had a couple months to find a new company that is approved for wedding on the public beach. Check out Okaloosa County Parks for a list of approved wedding vendors that have paid for the yearly permits because they have not! Even with COVID and all the craziness they refused to give deposit back. They were super nice before we put our deposit down and it all went down hill from there! If you are thinking about using them I wish you the best of luck because you guys are going to need it! I strongly suggest you guys check out barefoot wedding instead. They were 1000% easier to work with and made our day very special and stress free! (And more choices with ceremony decorations! )

We had our wedding with Crystal Beach and were very happy with how everything went. Affordable pricing and great communication/ response time. We were skeptical of having a destination wedding but fell in love with there site and it turned out to be a great choice! The location is what we were most concerned with and it was everything they said. Our pictures turned out literally perfect, and the planning was smooth and steady from start to finish. They provided us with hotel recommendations as well as other services such as hair & makeup, and even a nice restaurant for us to go to after the beach wedding. We will recommend this company to all our friends that are looking for a great place to get married and a company that truly cares about your wedding day. Can’t say enough about these guys! The ceremony was beautiful. The setup was gorgeous. I was a little disappointed at the response time when contacting the company. The lack of communication can leave a bride frustrated and stressed. The photographer took some beautiful pictures. He was able to capture some beautiful moments. The sunset photos were breathtaking. The wedding officiant was easy to work with.

Crystal Beach Weddings was amazing to work with. I had a destination wedding in Destin, FL and I live in Oklahoma City, OK. I also had never been to Florida so I was putting all of my trust in this company to help me plan the most beautiful wedding, site-unseen. Austen was very attentive and would text back or return my phone calls/emails very promptly. They were able to make accommodations for me and build a package to help keep me on budget and still get the necessary things I needed for my dream wedding. On the day of the wedding, it was very rainy. We were able to make it through the ceremony with minimal rain. We had originally planned to do a beach reception through Crystal Beach Events, Crystal Beach Weddings sister company. But due to the rain that was not going to work out. Austen was quick to help me find a local indoor location for us to hold the reception. It was not far from the beach and extremely beautiful inside. They took care of the clean up of both events (ceremony & reception) and made the day of completely stress-free. I would definitely recommend using this company for anyone's future wedding!!

Crystal beach weddings did an amazing job communicating with me and making sure I had the option to pay my deposits and complete my contracts online especially since I live in another state. I could also text or email Rhonda my questions/concerns and she always got back to me in a timely manner. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I was told before my wedding day came around that I would have a day of wedding coordinator that would make sure everything went off smoothly. I called and texted the contacts that I had available and I basically got the run around until a coordinator finally showed up at the beach house that we were getting ready at around 5:20pm and my wedding started at 6:00pm. My bridal party and I also practiced the order that we would walk down the aisle the day before at rehearsal (because Crystal beach weddings doesn't offer rehearsals, which is understandable) and the coordinator decided to confused them and change things around as it was their turn to walk, which I didn't know of until I saw my wedding photos for the first time. So overall everything before my wedding day went smoothly, but on the wedding day I was disappointed with the services. Hopefully this won't be continuous cycle and everyone else that uses them will have great service throughout the wedding process and on the actual day!! :)

I always knew that I wanted to have a beach wedding and Destin would be the perfect place to have it. Destin is such a beautiful place with gorgeous beaches, great food, it's just always been one of my favorite places. The plus is that I already live in Florida and I only lived 2 hours away from Destin. I found this company before I was engaged and knew that I always wanted to plan my wedding with them. The fact they have packages are amazing because everything is done for you all at one place. That makes it so less stressful. So for anyone from out of state, out of town, or local it’s perfect regardless of where any bride is from! They provide your food, cakes, chairs, tables, officiant, décor, ect. This is so convenient and the whole planning process I didn’t stress because they handled everything. The customer service that Crystal Beach Weddings provide is PHENOMINAL! When I called, the first point of contact was Austen who helps you to book your wedding and gives you all the details. He is truly amazing! What I loved so much about Austen was that he literally answered EVERY single question I had. Talking with Austen and the time he took with me made me feel special and confident in making Crystal Beach Weddings my choice in helping plan my beach wedding. We choose the bonfire package which meant we would have our reception on the beach as well with a small bonfire, I thought that was so unique. What I also loved about this company is that you can bring in your own DIY decorations or purchases and they set it up for you for free! Tom Ford is the companies Chef and his food is delicious! We choose the shrimp boil and their baker at Kake Kreations made our cake look exactly like the picture went sent her. The cake was so delicious! We choose the pink champagne cake with cream cheese frosting mousse and strawberries YUM! I had a 3 tier cake and it was gone by the end of the night including the seafood as well. Everyone complimented us on our food and cake tasting phenomenal. Our photographer was John Starett which Isabel told me she wanted me to have him, and I tell you he is outrageously talented! The way he captures the sunset in all of our photos is breath taking, like you’re really there! Once I was assigned my wedding coordinator was when the real magic happened. Her name is Isabel Ramento. I cannot brag her enough. She is truly an AMAZING person! She worked with me from beginning to end making this process so easy and stress free. She's beyond sweet and really wants to make sure your day is what you want it to be! Even though I wanted a beach wedding, I didn't want a beach theme wedding. I told her that I wanted casual glam just with the venue being on the beach. She totally got me. Isabel really went beyond her means to make sure I got exactly what I wanted for my wedding and was always on hand for texting or calling when I had a question. I met with her twice while planning, she took us to our wedding venue and explained how everything would be mapped out. The second time I brought her all of my DIY’s decorations, favors, guest book, ect. to make it easier for us. She is truly a dream and may I say gorgeous!!! She is a must to work with at Crystal Beach weddings, please ask for her! I'm so grateful to have met Isabel, and her becoming my coordinator, and for becoming my new friend. My wedding was really one to remember thanks to you. I thank you so much Isabel and Crystal Beach Weddings for giving me my dream wedding.

CBW was the absolute right choice for my daughter's wedding. We live in Ohio and were extremely nervous trying to plan a wedding from 12 hrs away. Austen was the Salesman we worked with, and the reason we chose this company. He was very responsive and extremely accommodating. He walked us through the right choices for our wedding size. Elizabeth was our planner, and we couldn't have asked for better service. She replied right away to our every question, and offered so much guidance along the way. The day of the wedding she was there bright and early, and was with us until the reception ended. She literally thought of everything, and was the reason the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. Isabel in accounting was also a pleasure to work with. CBW was truly amazing. Highly recommend.

I couldn't ask for a better experience! We traveled from North Georgia to get married in Destin and I cannot believe how easy Crystal Beach made it. Elizabeth was our wedding coordinator and made every thing stress free. Every possible detail was taken care of, all we had to do was fill out a few forms with our choice of colors, decorations, etc. We did the bonfire reception package and couldn't have been happier with the set up. Every detail was gorgeous and I couldn't have been happier.

We married in July 2016 and I can not brag enough about Tina and Crystal Beach Weddings. We planned our wedding from Texas and from the get go Tina was absolutely amazing. She returned emails, phone calls, and texts right away and answered all of the million questions I had. Our wedding day was better that I could have ever dreamed. Gary Alves was our photographer, Silver Shades was our videographer, Kenny D's catered, Kake Kreations made our cake, and Roy Mills was our officiant. All of them did an outstanding job. Crystal Beach Wedding did a fantastic job on our wedding. Everything was set perfectly, the wedding planner organized everything perfectly, all we had to do was show up and have a great time well for most part. We brought our own drinks and champagne but everything was included in the package. We had an amazing time. These people are professional, honest, courteous, friendly and efficient.
