CES was amazing! Jeff and his wife DJ'ed our wedding a couple of weeks ago and they kept the party going all night! They were very professional and answered every question promptly we had leading up to it; Jeff even met up with us a couple of times to go over the entire day. They made it a smooth transition throughout the wedding and engaged the crowd perfectly, all while playing great music. We highly recommend Crystal Entertainment Services, they're ultimate pros who've been doing it a long time...they know how to host a party!
I cannot accurately express how amazing Jim and his team were on my wedding day! I planned my entire wedding myself and really needed direction as far as the music selection. I needed someone I could trust to take that one thing off of my plate. Jim took the time to talk with me about what I wanted and what I didn't and executed those things expertly and professionally. I was very concerned with the level of cheesy-ness that some DJs have and Jim assured me everything would be tasteful and fun. Boy, did he and his team exceed my expectations! All of my guests were so impressed with the energy and vibe they created and LOVED the song suggestion cards. If you want to have a truly personalized DJ experience, give them a call. You will not be disappointed, trust me!!!
I saw Jimmy at two seperate expos and couldn't get enough of him! He HAD to be our dj and we are so thankful he made it happen! His energy is through the roof! We even had cops called! Oops! The photobooth is the best! The souvenir album they made for us nakes us laugh and we live that night over everytime! Thank you Jimmy and company for sharing our day with us!!
Thank you so much for being our DJ! You were absolutely spectacular! You read the crowd perfectly and got everyone onto the dance floor and kept them there! The way that you managed to integrate music that suited all the different age groups and music tastes was totally amazing! I could tell from the first minute that you spoke to us that you understood what we hoped to achieve! I appreciated your sensitivity to everyone's requests! You played a huge role in making the reception the fun party and cherished memory that it has become. Everyone is still talking about what a great time they had! We wish you all the best! We would recommend you to anyone who wants an outstanding DJ! Many thanks!
DJ Jimmy and the crew at Crystal Entertainment played at our wedding. He kept our dance floor full and really interacted with the crowd. It was really great to work with him on such short notice and our tight budget. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a great party.
We hired Crystal Entertainment and DJ Jimmy to do our wedding and from the first meeting we knew we were in good hands. He has such an awesome personality and was really easy to be around. My husband and I had no idea what to pick for the 'special songs' (first dance, bouquet/garter toss, etc.) This made our life much easier. At the wedding, DJ Jimmy was terrific! The music was great and he kept everything right on time. He helped us smoothly transition from one activity to the next. The photobooth was full most of the night and his staff helped our guests make a wonderful scrapbook. He kept the crowd dancing all night!!!! He was great as an MC and made all the announcements so we had nothing to worry about. His interaction with the crowd was perfect and he had the entire audience laughing and cheering along with him. We could see that he was having fun too and wanted everything to be perfect for us. Crystal Entertainment is wonderful and we highly recommend them!!
I was recently a guest at a wedding Crystal Entertainment DJ'd and they almost ruined the wedding. First, he played a 20 minute word association game during dinner in which he SHUSHED the room over and over and over again and told guests to be quiet. For 20 minutes. Then after that he had all the kids (ages ranged from 3-13) in a "band" to perform a song for the bride and groom in which he yelled at the 3 & 4 year olds to pay attention. During this "performance" the grooms grandma started choking on her food, and everyone rushed over to the table to check on her, and the DJ was still trying to get the bride and groom to interact with the kids. After that he played ANOTHER game, but at that point people were milling about, and he literally yelled at guests to get back to their seats to play. During the cake cutting he held a vote to see if the bride should feed the groom first, or the groom feed the bride first. Then he made them do it at the same time while SINGING to them. Then during the bouquet toss, he asked all the single ladies to come to the dance floor and when a table of a few girls didn't, he yelled at them (over the microphone!) that they are "wasting the brides time and no wonder they are single". Finally when the dance floor was open, he stopped in the MIDDLE of Salt n Peppa's Push It to announce that grandma was on the floor so he was putting on a different song. And then in between EVERY song, he would stop playing, yell in the microphone "where is table 11! Where is table 11! Table 11 where are you!" Once whatever table he was calling "wooooo'd" back, he would finally play a song. He did this in between every. single. song. And then he PROMOTED HIMSELF and said he's available for business if anyone wanted to come up to the DJ table and discuss it with him! The bride was visibly mortified and SO upset. I felt horrible. They are two of the nicest people ever, and the bride was already feeling anxious about being the center of attention. You could tell she just wanted to hear music and relax. I don't know if she knew this was the type of DJ they hired, or if this was all a surprise. The DJ did tell the videographer that he was "doing gimmicks that he likes to do at weddings as a thing for the bride" so I am assuming she didn't know. Horrible, horrible, horrible.
We used Crystal Entertainment for our photo booth for our wedding and it was a HUGE hit. All the guests LOVED it and had an awesome time. They were also awesome to work with leading up to the wedding and the photo booth attendants that were with the photo booth we also awesome. we LOVE the scrap book they made us with a copy of ALL photos taken that night.
Jimmy and his wife Gail did a wonderful job at keeping everyone on the dance floor all night! We also had a photo booth with them and it was a hit! everyone from young to old got in it and the pictures were great!
These guys were phenomenal...they totally catered to what we wanted. Very helpful, organized, and fun.
DJ we ended up with is not who we were told we would have. Had a meeting and went over many song selections a month ahead and then two days before it was panic time and other people contacted us and said they didn't have any list of songs so I had to email lists. One song in particular we wanted as a dance song - had it on our dance list versus the dinner music list, and it was apparently played before dancing so we never did get to dance to it. It is a special song, our daughter's nickname - that was a disappointment. DJ filled in songs - one ridiculous "robot" song - which bride had to signal him to nix. Many songs we did not ask for - did not follow all of our song requests and then took requests from the audience which we had specifically asked not to have happen. Also he wore a ridiculous red satin vest, tacky. He just didn't fit the bill for the more formal reception we had planned and asked for. We wanted very little talk and lots of dance music - gave specific song titles and then groups- like Beatles - that shouldn't be too hard to fill. A ROBOT song? Where did that come from? Also, he gave the microphone over to someone to recite a poem during the reception without checking with the bride and groom first, who BOTH would have nixed that.
