Diego was such a dream to work with. Diego was professional and attentive to our needs. He helped us stay within our budget and suggested alternatives. The center was neat and clean and very well organized. He allowed us to decorate and anticipated our every need. The staff were amazing and took very good care of us. Rachael was a God-sent and made sure that the event moved efficiently as I wanted. The food was excellent. My guest never stopped talking about how plentiful the servings and selections were and how delicious the food was. The servers were professional and served every table making sure all guests had an opportunity to enjoy all the varieties of food. The bartender was knowledgeable and patient, serving with a smile. Three hours was a little rushed for us and I wish we had had a bit more time but budget restraints did not allow us the cost of an additional hour or two. The DJ was OK and tried to stay with the song list I had prepared but a lack of communication did not allow us to solidify the song list. My DOC made sure he included our procession and first dance songs that we wanted at the times we wanted them played. A good DOC can help the event manager make sure everything runs smoothly. I would highly recommend this venue for your celebration needs.

Diego & Kimberly and their team were super easy to get in touch with, and were so friendly and helpful in putting together every little detail for our wedding day. We loved the venue, especially because Crystal Events handled all the decorations, food, drinks, DJ, lighting, cake delivery, etc. It was such a help with wedding planning to have a place that essentially handled it all! It was such a great (and affordable) option for us, and all our guests kept telling us how beautiful everything looked, how great the food was, and a great time they had!

Crystal Events is a wedding venue located in Kenner, LA. This elegant event venue is situated just outside the vibrant city of New Orleans and provides an atmosphere that's as lively as the city itself. Their dedicated event staff work to bring your vision to reality, for a day that reflects your unique style and personality. They aim to make the planning process as seamless as possible, so you can relax and enjoy each moment with loved ones. Originally designed as a skating rink, the premises has been hosting spirited celebrations since the 1970s. In 1988, the property was transformed into a wedding venue and renovations in 2020 have transformed it into a space that's suited to the needs of the modern couple. Crystal Events can accommodate indoor wedding ceremonies and receptions of over 300 guests. Once inside, you'll find a stage that's an ideal location to say "I do" and a great place for your band or DJ to set up for the reception. The venue also features a built-in bar with beer taps and a private suite for the wedding party. Crystal Events offers a range of packages to best meet the needs and budget of your event. These packages include a DJ, as well as catering options to help make coordinating your big day a breeze. Their menu includes mouth-watering hors d'oeuvres, cold trays, sandwiches, hot entrees, and delicious desserts. You may upgrade your dinner package to include a carving station, and their beverage options include a wide array of hand-made cocktails, as well as beer and wine. To help ensure the day you've always imagined, their on-site wedding attendant will be by your side throughout the day.

Hello everyone, my name is Diego Oliva and my wife is Kimberly Oliva. We are the new owners of The Crystal Events. I have a degree in Business Administration and my wife is a Registered Nurse. She also specializes in Photography. We have three young children that absolutely make our world complete. Everything that we do is for them! We are a loving family and are dedicated to give the best experience to our clients. We want everyone to feel welcomed and loved as if they are part of the family!

ly was the owner Diego SUPER helpful and understanding with last minutes changes (as all big events have), he truly cares about his clients having the best possible experience. We are so thankful for all of the staff at the venue. Everyone was kind to our guests and it was a wonderful time that will never be forgotten. Also Rachal our personal attendant was phenomenal! She was literally everywhere making sure my husband and I didn’t have to want for anything. We are so glad we chose Crystal Events for our special day.

He was so kind whenever I came to him with strange request and he made the whole experience so comfortable. What was also very comfortable was his pricing. Getting married can be very expensive but at Crystal Events they don’t short cut anything. OMG the food, was amazing! You get the whole menu not just package deals. Everyone from the wedding raved about the food, especially the corn crab bisque soup. Lawd it so good!!! Once the wedding started it all flowed together so smoothly. Everyone that worked for our wedding was kind and very very helpful. I never wanted for anything. I had someone, really two people always near making sure I had everything I needed. but I could never find it. This is by far the best deal in the area for a wedding!!! The food: Guests could not stop talking about the food. I was especially concerned in this area, as my wife's family is from New Orleans and can be particularly critical of this type of food if not done right. Donnie's food is amazing! He even sent us home with a ton of food and champagne to go!! The music: Reece was our DJ, and was nothing short of professional. He called us a week ahead of time to make sure everything was in order, and he satisfied all of our requests in perfect time. There are some negative reviews of the music here, but don't pay them any mind. Music levels and styles were perfect, Reece was amazing! He even accommodated the equipment needs of my friend who played classical guitar for the ceremony! The liquor: Drinks were flowing, my party friends kept commenting about the whiskey on the gun. Donnie made sure the drinks were flowing all night to keep my guests happy! Long and short: If you are trying to have a wedding on a budget in NOLA, Donnie and his crew will not disappoint. 5 stars all the way!!!

Donnie went above and beyond to ease what is typically a stressful day. He honored his word in all that he said he would do and service he would provide. I've been involved in other weddings where they promise the world to get your business then change their attitude when the check has cleared. Any special requests were no problem, the drinks flowed and my reception was a great success. I would absolutely recommend The Crystal Plantation for your reception.
