I would recommend Crystal Mountain to anyone that asks- in fact, one of my bridesmaids said that she wanted to have hers there. If that is not a complement, I don’t know what is. All of our guests said we had a perfect wedding weekend and I owe it all to the staff. I had been planning my wedding for two years (all outside) and the day of the wedding it was raining. Sam continued to check the weather for me hourly and give encouragement and reassurance that everything would turn out great- and it did. If anyone is wondering if they should have their wedding here, it is a huge YES from us.

e with Tony, everything was flawless. Our was not an easy event to execute. We had many unique requests and a multi-day event including a rehearsal dinner, morning ceremony, afternoon BBQ, and event reception at the Mountain Top that added complexity. Yet with a smile and dedicated problem solving, Crystal Mountain delivered above and beyond what we could have imagined. They even brought us the good weather :) The thing that stood out most in our experience with Crystal Mountain was the genuine pride each staff member takes in their work. It is clear to us that there is a high standard of excellence they aim to hit across the entire Crystal Mountain team -- lodging, dining & catering, transportation, facilities, spa, etc. The positive culture they have across your entire resort is palpable. The attention to detail and care and concern for the quality of the experience shined through with every planning call, every email, and every moment of our big weekend. I hope you choose Crystal Mountain and that your wedding is as special as ours was.

eather...even though it was never a plan. Thankfully, it worked out and we were married at the off site location. Our wedding coordinator at the resort was awesome to work with and far exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend the location if you are planning a Northern MI wedding.

erful they were always there when we needed something. They were great about making it the way I wanted it to be. Also for such an amazing venue they werent that expensive compared to other places I looked at. Budget was really important to me since I just graduated from college and was paying for over half of my wedding myself. I barely went over budget and couldn't have asked for a better location. I would highly recommend you have your wedding here it is such a unique experience to make your entrance on a gondola.

ing and mess up your guests with other events. The only thing you need to worry is the weather. Sometimes in the mountain area, the weather is a little unpredictable. Usually, July and august is the best. I have my wedding at the end of August and it was very very beautiful. All my guests enjoy the view a lot! If you have a guest size between 50~100, that fits the place very well.
