Delicious delicious food! We got their champagne chicken, mac n cheese, and mixed veg buffet option. It was so delicious and tasteful. I highly recommend their risotto balls as an appetizer! Everything we tried during their tasting was so good that it made it hard to choose! They are also sweet because they give you a basket of everything that was served so the couple can enjoy it the next day. They are very professional and respectful. 10/10 service. Highly recommend!

We used Culinary Visions for our wedding 9/18/22 and were really happy with them! The private tasting we had was awesome, the food was hot and delicious, and the champagne chicken sold us right away! Throughout the entire process they were very communicative and understanding with all of our questions. We got the shrimp bouchees, fruit skewers with sherry creme sauce, and spinach artichoke dip for cocktail hour and it was all delicious! We got the champagne chicken and bourbon steak for dinner and it was cooked perfectly and many guests told us they went back for 3rds and 4ths it was so good. There was plenty of food to go around and they were very attentive to my husband and I's needs the entire night. Would definitely use them again!

Gene and Tracy were absolutely amazing communicating and planning the dinner for our wedding. The food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal! We are so glad we booked them for our wedding at Bakery 1818! It was perfect!

Gene and Tracy were an absolute pleasure to work with! They were one of my favorite parts of planning our wedding. Not only did they help with our hot chocolate bar, they went above and beyond to ensure every detail about the food was perfect. They're also incredibly clear on pricing, which can be tough to find with some wedding vendors. We received MANY compliments on how delicious our food was after the wedding. I would book them again and again!

We hired Culinary Visions Catering as our caterer for our wedding at Castle McCulloch on November 16, 2021, and overall we highly recommend them! AMAZING food and an extremely friendly and caring chef. My only issue was with email correspondence, as this is a very busy time for weddings, and I had to sometimes follow up more than once before I got a response. On the day of the wedding, we had absolutely AMAZING appetizers and an outstanding dinner. We wanted Peruvian food, so we worked with the chef and gave him the two recipes for the two dishes we wanted, and they came out great!

For our wedding, the food my wife and I had was cold and the chicken was dry. The menu we had was suppose to have new potatoes and we got potatoe wedges. Our guest thought the food was good, the staff was very friendly.

Gene, Tracy and their team is everything you could ever want from a catering service. My wedding was on 9.3.21 and the food was delicious. Our guests loved it. They even make a tasty Sangria (Whatever flavor you like). The communication was great the professionalism was awesome and they are so attentive to the most smallest needs. I 100% recommend them. Your belly will thank you later...

We found Visions through one of the many wedding planning sites. They had incredible reviews and I was incredibly excited to work with them. Everything was a pretty smooth and easy process until a few weeks before our wedding. Unfortunately we had to change our date and communication started getting sparse. We would have to call/email multiple times to get a response. Picking out linens was not the easiest process. Instead of being shown what linens they had, I was shown what linens they thought I may like or they liked which made the decision process more difficult. On the day of our wedding, they arrived late. The linens we picked were covered in stains and the overlays chosen were not the right color and couldn’t be used. The color linens they sent were covered in bleach stains and again, could not be used. All of this I am trying to work through while getting my hair and makeup done. After our ceremony, the passed horderves never made it to the bridal party or family members while we were taking pictures. In fact, no one was aware we had these until a guest at our wedding had to tell the waiters to come serve the bride and groom. Our guests shared there were no warming plates so all the food was cold. We were given BUTTER KNIVES to cut a steak and the food was not what we had tasted during our tasting. It was incredibly disappointing that this was the outcome for something we were so excited about.

We learned about Culinary Visions Catering through our interview day at Bella Collina Mansion, and were very impressed with the tasty food and the great selection of dishes to choose from! Gene and Tracy were very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had during the planning process. On the wedding day, the staff was very attentive and the guests loved the delicious food!

From the time we met with these guys until the reception, we were treated with so much respect and care. We were taking pictures after the wedding and they brought snacks and drinks out to us. The basket that they prepared for us when we left was perfection. It was the attention to details like this that won me over. The food...champagne chicken could be last meal. Oh yeah, and they made me butterbeer. Couldn't ask for better for the affordable pricing!!

The food and service received from this vendor was absolutely amazing! They were so flawless throughout the planning of our daughter’s wedding all the through the event itself. Friendly staff and delicious food were worth every penny. We would highly recommend them for any event!

I have had the worst experience with this catering company. They were one of two caterers to choose from with my all inclusive package I had with my venue. I called in July to book a tasting and had it scheduled for the end of the month. I spoke with a gentleman and went over the menu options and we chose what items we wanted for the tasting. The week before the tasting, I called to confirm the time and thank goodness I did because they had no record of our appointment at all. So I had to reschedule it, for September! Then the lady I spoke with sent me a completely different menu of items to choose from for the tasting, so we had to make all new selections. They also offered us the choice of downgrading from using real china to plastic plates and utensils to include an appetizer to our package. Turns out, when I spoke to the venue, they weren't allowed to do that and they were trying to take business away from the rental company for the dishes to put more money from our package and apply it to their company instead. A week after I spoke with the venue about it, they sent me an email saying they were no longer working with Culinary Visions, but if we still wanted to use them as our caterer, they would honor that since it was offered when we signed our contract. Two weeks later, 4 days before my tasting is scheduled with Culinary Visions, they email me and tell me that my appointment has been cancelled because they are no longer doing business with my venue. They are completely unorganized and unprofessional. I am glad that I went with a different catering company.

We want to thank Gene and his staff. Our guest loved the food from cocktail hour to reception. There were no complaints and people were asking for 2nds.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I will share specific details below, but if you want the ‘Spark Notes’ version of this review: 1) THEY DISREGAURD THE BRIDE AND GROOM’S WISHES 2) THEY HEEDLESSLY WASTE THE BRIDE AND GROOM’S MONEY There is nothing that can be done at this point to rectify their unprofessional behavior during our event; but it is our hope that this review will spare future clients from having a similar negative experience with Culinary Visions Catering. [CONTEXT] Family recipes were followed to create large batches of 2 specialty drinks for guests to be offered at the wedding. The Bride and Groom purchased all the necessary supplies for these drinks, Culinary Visions Catering had no financial involvement in the drink procurement. The Bride had communicated in advance to Culinary Visions Catering that these 2 specialty drinks would be the Bride and Groom’s drink of choice during their wedding reception. [OFFENSE] Well before the final hours of the wedding reception a member of the Culinary Visions Catering team, the owner’s wife to be exact, DUMPED OUT both specialty drinks. The Culinary Visions staff member walked up to the bar, took off the lids to the specialty drink dispensers and poured out the nearly full containers onto the ground. All in front of guests, without any prior approval from the Bride or Groom and with multiple hours remaining in the reception. [DISREGARD FOR CLIENT’S WISHES] When the Bride expressed understandable dissatisfaction that her specialty drinks were thrown out without her consent, this same Culinary Visions staff member told the bride, and I quote “I think you have had enough of your drink.” This comment illuminates how callous the Culinary Visions Catering team is toward their client’s wishes; they were utterly obtuse to the myriad of ways this negatively impacted the Bride and Groom on their special day. Now left with significantly less drink options but the same number of wedding guests to serve for the remaining hours of the reception, the Bride and Groom had to divert their attentions away from their own wedding to try and arrange for additional libations to be delivered to the venue. [DISREGARD FOR CLIENT’S MONEY] Unfortunately the ordeal above is not the only example of ways the Culinary Visions Catering team had blatant disregard for the Bride and Groom’s money. The Bride and Groom purchased all wine for the wedding and delivered it to Culinary Visions Catering team with the understanding that bottles should remain at room temperature, so they can be returned to the liquor store. The Culinary Visions Catering team disregarded this request and chilled ALL bottles of wine hours in advance of the reception, rendering all unused bottle ineligible for return and financial reimbursement. The Bride and Groom provided Culinary Visions Catering storage containers for all leftover food to be put in after dinner service. Instead, leftover food was thrown out. Between the dumped out specialty drinks, unused wine being chilled and leftover food not being saved, Culinary Visions Catering showed egregious non-professionalism that resulted substantial financial loss to the Bride and Groom.

We loved Culinary Visions. They catered our wedding on May 10, 2019 and did an incredible job. They catered in lunch for all of the girls while getting ready for the wedding and the food was outstanding. For our wedding we asked for a late night food setup and if they could make a ranch dressing fountain for us and Gene made it all happen. We are three weeks post wedding and still have people telling us this was the best wedding food they have ever had. Highly recommend to anyone!

Being someone that appreciates food as something like an experience, catering was a very important aspect to our wedding. Culinary Visions went above and beyond my expectations for the food at our wedding. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water lol. Gene and the staff were also very attentive and creative when it came to finding ways to express our interests through food. For example, to make some of the family from Louisiana feel at home they came up with an amazing shrimp and grits appetizer for cocktail hour. My family will be talking about the food at our wedding for many years to come!

We originally had chosen another caterer but due to reason beyond our control that caterer could not fulfill our contract and we were forced to find another caterer with only a little over 3 moths till our wedding. However, things happen for a reason. From the first meeting with Gene and staff we knew it was the right fit for our wedding. Amazing personality, tentative to our requests and ensured we were going in the right direction with our menu choices. Gene and his staff made sure all of our family and friends were well taken care of as well as ensuring myself and my new husband were catered to. Gene’s office manager Kristin was simply amazing, from answering my texts/emails in a timely manner no matter how stupid the question. This kind of impeccable service provided by Culinary Visions Catering is rare to find. Our guests are still raving about the service and how incredible the food tasted.

This food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Gene and the staff at Culinary Visions were wonderful when they catered my wedding. They helped me come up with a menu and were very insightful about what would be crowd pleasers. They were also very flexible in coming up with dishes for my guests who had allergies and dietary restrictions. All my guests told me that the food was delicious! I was very busy that day trying to mingle with everyone but Gene and his staff packed a beautiful to- go bag for my husband and I to enjoy later. Very pleased!

Gene and the Culinary Visions Staff are some of the greatest caterers EVER!! Great to talk to and wonderful at explaining the ins and outs of wedding catering. All of our guests were raving about the Champagne Chicken and with their formal buffet they were able to go back for seconds. Gene had answers to all my questions and the team even packed us a dinner for two, to take home with us. 10 out of 10, I would recommend them to anyone in the area for events!

These guys were so great to work with. Tracy was always available whenever I needed to add or remove something, super flexible, and very personable. Great customer service. The food was super delicious too! We chose the sage chicken (Amazing!) and veggie medley, roasted potatoes, and green beans. We had crab dip and meatballs during cocktail hour. Everything was perfect. We received many compliments from our guests. Gene and Tracy were really helpful on helping us save money. I loved the cute little take away basket they made for us to eat after the wedding! It was nice to be able to eat the food while we were relaxed and could enjoy it rather than during the reception when we’re busy and excited. I highly recommend.

Culinary Visions was absolutely incredible. Gene made sure we had everything we needed. From the first bite of the Champagne Chicken, I knew that was one of our dishes. It was just as delicious on our wedding day! While we were out taking family photos, he came right up to us with a plate full of our appetizers since he knew we hadn't had a chance to eat yet. For dinner, our food was already on our plates so we could actually sit down and eat while guests were getting food. He also made sure we received a huge basket of leftovers for after the wedding. The food was amazing and Gene will make sure you get fed and are enjoying the day. Everyone is still raving about how great the food was!

Chef Gene is a true professional! He was able to accomodate all of our special requests, our guests raved about the food (we of course agreed!), and he went out of his way to make sure we did not waste money or food. They packed up food for us after the wedding since it's difficult for the bride and groom to get something to eat on the big day (although they did feed us as best they could but we chose more picture time lol) I highly recommend their risotto balls and the Tuscan Balsamic Chicken is to die for!!! Thanks Gene for feeding us and our guests!

Gene is amazing! Our wedding food turned out so great; we had numerous compliments on the food throughout the evening. My husband ate and complimented the veggies (he never eats veggies!). I am vegetarian and my mom eats gluten free, but there were no issues getting special meals for both of us. Thanks Culinary Visions!

They did a great job with the food at my wedding last week. Chef Gene is the sweetest and they made us a to-go basket to take home with us after the wedding. You can't go wrong with them!

Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2 The Bar Major issue with the bar was the bar tab, the bartender claims we spent $600.00 before dinner even started; I found that hard to believe, since we had the wedding just before dinner. When questioning the bartender, we asked to see the tab, what we were shown were “tick” marks on a note pad, when asked to see the empty bottles of wine/ beer, the bartender could not produce enough bottles to convince us that we had indeed spent $600.00. There was absolutely no system to record what was spent, no accounting system as to what was served or even how much was served. By the end of the night we spent a total of $1020.00 on beer and wine. Let me remind everyone, not everyone drinks and we were only serving beer and wine. Something just didn’t add-up. Here’s the kicker. Prior to the reception we scheduled a meeting with the owner of Vision Catering and Kress Terrace, to discuss our wine selection, agreeing to pay the premium price for the upgraded selection of “premium” wines. During the meeting we specifically ask not to be served "Woodbridge” wines. What we actually were served were the Woodbridge wines. Which is why I question the total spent on the bar bill. I don't know how one could possible specify particular wines in a contract and then get served the exact wines we asked not to be served. We were offered a plated champagne toast as a bonus, for signing the contract early, we never saw the champagne. The uninvited guests We also, experience uninvited guest at the reception. This reception was by invitation only; this was brought to our attention weeks after the reception, during our meeting with the owner and staff to discuss the issues. One staff member said the only reason we ran of food was due to your uninvited guests. I can assure you these were not our guests, where was security during our event? The meeting Finally, we have a meeting with owner and her staff who worked the night of our daughter’s wedding. Needless to say, each pointed the finger at the other. During the meeting the staff was excused and it is now just owner, who goes on to blame the staff and apologizes profusely. When all was said and done, we did receive a refund of a negotiated $400.00, but when we met to get the refund it was shorted $100.00. I reminded Visions that this was a one shot deal; you don’t get a do over, not for a wedding. You see, the problem is, once you’ve paid your deposit for the venue, and have selected your menu, it’s like a magic act “poof” they disappear. So, as Visions put it to us prior to the wedding, “don’t worry, I’m good at what I do”. Are they? This is why I needed to write this review.

There is not much more I can say but, WOW! From the wonderful staff who are willing to accommodate any request, to the food. OH THE FOOD! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Our wedding at Bella Collina Mansion was so perfect and Culinary Visions Catering were a big part in how perfect our day was. Our guests are still talking about the meal. I am secretly trying to figure out their recipe for their champagne chicken. Do yourself a favor and book with them now!! You and all of your guests WILL NOT be disappointed!

We would highly recommend Culinary Visions! The food was AMAZING!!! Our guests still rave about the food, months later. The risotto cakes were a huge hit. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were able to eat without interruption during our wedding. They even prepared us a to go gift basket with all of the different food we had, so we were able to continue to enjoy our food the next day. Culinary Visions was fantastic!

Culinary visions was great to work with. Our wedding was last week at Bella Collina and we are still getting rave reviews on how great dinner was especially the champagne chicken. We had multiple tastings with them and they worked with us to please a very diverse crowd even making special dishes for those with allergies and restrictions at no extra cost. Gene and his staff are very friendly and helpful, he served us personally for dinner making sure we ate at the wedding. We couldn't be happier with the service we got.

Chef Gene and his crewed from amazing at my wedding this past weekend! From the minute I met them I knew they would do an amazing job at catering my wedding with delicious food. Chef Gene and all the servers checked on my husband and I constantly to make sure we had what we needed and that we actually ate! They packed up a bag of leftover food, including the appetizers we didn't get to have, for us to enjoy the next night! It was just as delicious the next day!

My fiance and I contacted them and were originally told they were available for our wedding reception. We then worked with their staff to discuss reception details and discuss menu and other logistics for the event. Prior to receiving our initial quote, we were told that they were suddenly "booked" for our wedding date as they had 3 other weddings planned that day. I am concerned for the other clients who have booked their services now as they are either poor planners or trying to maximize profit over customer service.

Gene and the staff were really professional and nice to work with. We did two tastings and the food was amazing. I opted for a split entree, chicken and pork. While the food was amazing and flawless at the tasting, it was just ok at my wedding. The sides were really good and the pork was alright, however the chicken ended up being dry. It was a little disappointing since the chicken was so great at the tasting and i was looking forward to it the most. Overall, everything was fine and the staff was great but I was expecting just a little more. We did appreciate the little "To Go" basket that they prepared for us at the end of the night.

What a great vendor! The food is delicious! When I saw a meatball for an hors d'oeuvres I wasn't thrilled, but then I took a bite of it and it was the BEST meatball I've ever had. The chef(s) are wonderful at pleasing their customers. We wanted to taste more options for our wedding and they booked us an appointment and let us sample a good amount of food. You will not regret booking this team.

I can not say enough how amazing they are. They are super helpful in letting you know if you have enough food and they even tell you they think you are going overboard. We have received so many compliments on how amazing the food was.

We were so happy with the service and food that Culinary Visions provided for our brunch wedding this month. They were extremely professional throughout the entire process- very easy to get in contact with and very thorough. The food was wonderful - our guests raved over the ham biscuits and french toast - and so were the cocktails. The set up and take down was fast and efficient, and everything looked beautiful. Would go with them again in a heartbeat.

Gene, Todd and the staff of Culinary Visions were not only great to work with, they created the unique food stations we wanted in our outdoor venue just as we had imagined them. Our guests raved about the food - especially the corn cakes!

they catered our wedding a few weekends ago and it was delicious. Everyone thought so too. The only thing i was told about later was that my parents had no food to take home and they never figured out what happened to the left over food. we had a mashed potato bar. that was a big hit!

I enjoyed working with Gene very much. He was accommodating and easy to get in touch with. The food was delicious. However, the night of the reception, the serving staff was very rude to my guests. There was a mix-up in the kitchen, and apparently the wait staff took it personally. One waitress was very vocal to many tables about how mad she was. She even refused to feed my photographer (whom I order a dish specifically for). My photographer was told she would get 'whatever was left.' At one point, my husband had to take iced tea pitchers around to fill up guests' glasses. I personally had to go to the bar to get water because I could not find a water pitcher and the servers completely ignored the bridal table. I'm still not sure what the reason was behind the rude behavior, but I found it very off putting. Perhaps if I had been told, I could have rectified the situation. Overall, I would recommend the food, but def. not the wait staff. Save your money for people that will respect your guests.

We were honored to have Culinary Visions host our 300 person wedding reception! Their team was personable, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. The managers are professional and capable. Todd, Gene, and the rest of the staff gave us full confidence that they could handle any last-minute changes for our planned outdoor wedding if needed. The day of the wedding they were organized and efficient, with a friendly staff ready to serve our guests. They not only provided a delicious meal, but the presentation of the food was impressive with beautifully decorated buffet lines. Our recommendation for Culinary Visions is over the top!

We selected to have action stations...we brought our thoughts to the table and they presented their ideas from what we wanted to accomplish at our reception. We had the best time designing our reception with their team. Their ideas and suggestions were right on target. We had the reception of our dreams and the guests are still talking. All I hear now is how wonderful the food was and how great the chefs were at the action stations. I can't thank them enough. My dreams really did come true.

I know this caterer is fantastic if both of my friends decided on the same one without even knowing each other. I attended a wedding in Greensboro at Revolution Mill Studios in August and they had different stations setup all around the room which worked perfect because it kept all of the guess involved and I didn't feel like we needed to sit down and wait for what was next. Thena month later i was at a wedding in Mebane at the Gorgeous Pine Lake Pavilion. I recognized the Event Manager, Tricia and just kept staring at her wondering how I know this girl. So I approched her and asked where I have seen her before and she recognized me from the Zook Wedding a month later. This wedding was totally different from the last one as this was a plated meal. It was delicious and the staff was very helpful in making sure everyone at my table had their glasses full and got enough to eat. I would totally recomend this catering company!!!

As a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding, I just wanted to rave on how fantastic the catering company was. Not only were the displays absolutely gorgeous but the staff and how dedicated they were to make sure every guest and bridal party attendee has exactly what they wanted. The food was delicious and the corn cake station was something that I have never seen or heard of before and it really showed the different elements of what this catering company can offer!!! If I lived in NC or even was having my wedding in NC I would def. use Culinary Visions Catering

Culinary Visions Catering did an amazing job where the tapas style 5-plate meal was the focal point of the reception. The plated service was perfect and the taste and presentation of the food memorable! All the guests loved it. I will definately recommend them to my future brides! Great Job Culinary Visions!

Tricia did an amazing job with our wedding! She worked with us to include some of the not so traditional traditions from western PA! We got rave reviews about the food and the portion sizes from our guests! Culinary staff worked well with all other vendors and overall did an outstanding job! Very easy to work with. Our only complaint is that we asked for a server to specifically serve the bridal party during the cocktail hour (as we were taking pictures in a different location than the cocktail hour for guests - the hostess served our groomsmen, but then disappeared! Our photographers helper ended up getting us drinks!)

I used this company for my wedding on October 9th and have since received rants and raves from my guest!!! Their display work and attention to every detail was emmaculant. I wanted to feel like a princess on my wedding day and they made that happen because I did not have to worry about a thing. Once I told them exactly what I wanted I didn't have to worry about any other details. I will be using this company again for any upcoming events that I need catering services for!!!

Culinary put together an incredible menu for our event and carried it out perfectly. The servers were attentive and professional and the food was absolutely delicious. Tricia and Edie were so great to work with and we were so happy with the way everything turned out!

We used Culinary Visions to cater our reception at Hodgin Valley Farms. The food was amazing, but the service was even better! Everyone was so nice and professional,and we got to take home the leftovers (what little there was once everyone got seconds!)
