Custom Catering

When we began searching for our reception venue, price and food were our main concerns. We had already decided to serve only appetizers because the wedding and reception were between lunch and dinner. Most catering companies wanted to charge us outrageous prices and listed them by piece. Custom Catering center charged us by person, and this included five different appetizers of our choice; each person was estimated to eat three-five of each appetizer. Other catering companies required you to spend a minimum on food alone, and most of the minimums were as much as our entire order at Custom Catering Center. They also charged extra for the decorations and the dance floor, both of which were included in Custom Catering's price. The atmosphere and style of Custom Catering's building were just what we were looking for, very elegant and yet cozy. The venue could easily seat 250-300 guest. The food was amazing and the menus were easy to understand; many of the options were classical dishes, not over-the-top fancy pieces that we had to look up on the internet just to know what it was. The only problem we had with Custom Catering was the wait staff, who were a little disorganized. This was particularly obvious during the cake cutting ceremony, where my wife and I stood embarrassed and confused, not knowing where to begin cutting or how. We probably ruined a few slices in our efforts to cut the first piece.

Custom catering is great at working with small budgets; we were very satisfied with how much food we got for the price and everything tasted great!!!

We used Custom Catering at our outdoor wedding in Wytheville, VA. Noah was wonderful to work with -- I had tons of questions along the way and he was always prompt and thorough with his responses. He allowed us to come in and sample some of the food so we knew exactly what we wanted and what to expect. We had the buffet option which worked perfectly for our event. I was too excited to eat everything, but everyone else said the food was fantastic, and I know the little bit that I did have was great. I would absolutely recommend them, because after the tax, service, travel, etc the grand total was around $3000 for a full buffet with 2 entree options, multiple sides, salad, breads, appetizer trays, and drinks for a 150 person wedding. I couldn't believe it!!

I would recommend Custom Catering to everyone in my area! They are very professional and are so great to work with. With 200 people at the reception, there were no long lines at the buffet, and there was plenty of room to move around. The food is delicious!
