They did a great job with my dress! I needed a lot taken in and I had a very delicate lace dress and it fit perfect!

Overall, a really great alterations experience. Lei made the changes that I wanted to see in the dress and did it in a timely manner. She even altered the bodice of the dress the week before the wedding because I decided I wanted it to come in a bit more. My dress looked exactly how I wanted the day of. As someone who is very picky about alterations, I can say that I would absolutely recommend Custom Fit to You for bridal alterations!

I must disclaim this negative review with the fact that I loved how my dress turned out but the process of getting it altered was a challenge and very stressful. Lei is the alterations specialist at Custom fit to you. She is very sharp, defensive and overall is not a good communicator. I would ask questions as to what could be done to my dress and instead of giving me options she would say no to everything, then in the end say that we could do what I was requesting like it was no big deal. I would be relived but confused and stressed. I had 5 alterations appointments and she rescheduled 2 of my appointments at the last minute and was late for the other two appointments, the last appointment was to pick up my dress and see the final alterations to the bustle and my friend and I waited 30 minutes before we were attended to. I drive from Salem to Portland for my alterations so last minute rescheduling is very difficult. She would be grateful via text message but when would arrive in person she was brash, almost seemingly upset and did not thank us for our flexibility. She is a very quick person and will rush you if you are not careful. My first appointment was 15 minutes and I was not allowed time to sit, move around or even fully explain everything I wanted. I picked up my dress in November, started my alteration process in February and my dress was not finished until 2 weeks before the wedding. My dress was ordered from the bridal salon in a custom length that came out perfectly so the things I wanted were for the center boning to be taken out of bust so it actual fit my petite bust and didn't make me look like I had a larger, Madonna style chest, it needed to be brought in on the sides, the jacket needed a princess seam so it fit and a bustle. Every alteration I was requesting was a battle. She was not very good at explaining what they were doing to the dress and I had to tell her multiple times that all I wanted was to know the options for what could be done to my dress. At my first and second appointment I had asked for the center boning to be removed and she said that they would do it, each time it was not done. I asked again at my third appointment and she said that it was removed at my second appointment but was put back in because it was "standard" to replace the boning if it is removed. When I said that it was never removed she said that it was and that I must not be remembering correctly. I asked my mother who was at all appointments and she remembered the boning in at all of them until it was finally removed by my fourth appointment, which made me happy. Two months before my wedding a small stain was found on my dress she said, "I don't know where that came from, unless this is a used dress." and while I have no problem at all with secondhand dresses, I think it is a great option and I looked at vintage dresses myself, but my dress was not used and the only place it had been was the bridal salon and her shop. In the end she would not address the stain. Fortunately, the stain could not be seen easily unless you were close to the dress. I think if you have a very thick skin and like a brash, take charge, no nonsense, I do what I please kind of a personality you will be fine with Lei but I am not such a person. Everyone who met her agreed that Lei was difficult and rude. I cannot recommend this shop which is unfortunate because the work is lovely but the experience was nothing but stressful.

Lei was great and helped me with my dress in a short timeline. It turned out beautifullly but foe the few alterations needed I feel like it was very expensive.

Lei at Custom Fit to You did an amazing job altering my dress. I lost close to 30 lbs inbetween buying my dress and the wedding and they did such an amazing job making it fit like a glove. Thank you.

After having a panic 4 weeks before my wedding, my wedding shop was able to get me my dress in a week. I called Lei upon ordering my dress and she made an appointment for me to have my first fitting moments after picking up my dress. She assured me they would be able to take care of my dress in time. She knew the dress which made it easy for her. I explained I wanted the dress altered from a A-line to a fit and flare. It also needed sizing as well. Every single item I asked for, she delivered. The dress was perfect and beautiful. She also stated she would charge me a rush fee, and I dont believe she did. Her team was amazing!
