We hired Custom to transport our guest from the hotel in Overland Park to the venue in Paola. Everything went extremely smooth!!! They were timely and courteous. We needed to extend the time by an hour as our guests were having a great time and they were flexible and accommodating!!

We hired Custom Limousines for a few hours to do photos for our wedding. We chose a trolley, and it worked out great! The driver showed up on time, was very friendly, and professional. The trolley was clean, they took us where we needed to go, and got us back to the venue on time! Would book again.

If the rating could be lower, it would be! We used Custom Limousine for our transportation on our wedding day for pictures. They were very kind during the reservation process, but once it came closer to the wedding, the owner Tom called numerous times to try to rebook our reserved limo bus to another larger party. Two days prior to our wedding he put us in a smaller bus that would not hold our entire capacity, despite our protests. With all of the stress of the wedding, I was over the fight and just said OK. Then came our BIG DAY...the bus smelled like a frat party, they claimed A/C was running at full capacity, but we all were dripping with sweat in no time. We had to open the windows to get a little air not to pass out! We were driving from the Crossroads Hotel to the Nelson. Our driver took Main street that was full of construction and had no sense to listen to any of us trying to get him to go another way or even use his GPS. I called the owner Tom and asked for a refund due to our horrific experience, but he said we used the time and was unwilling to do the right thing. We were unable to get to our second location for pictures and we were all a hot sweaty mess! My main goal in writing this is that no one else has to encounter this on a special day!!! Book elsewhere...you don't want the experience we had!!!

Excellent Customer Service! I called many company’s to enquirer on rates and secure my date, Custom Limousine was the first to respond with many others contacting me days after my event. It was a wonderful night. There was a problem with the original Limo that carried guest to the event but they handled it quite professionally and finished the night with an upgrade vehicle . They could have discounted me for the vehicle swap but truly I didn’t ask! The driver Cody was very professional and attentive! It was a wonderful Red Carpet Experience! Marilyn

I booked a limo for my husband and I on our wedding night to travel from Lawrence to Powell Gardens and back to enjoy the Festival of Lights. The night before, I received a call from Custom Limousine saying they would like to offer us a free upgrade because they were moved by our narrative about how we had to postpone our wedding because of COVID but still chose to legally get married on our original date. The upgrade was a $250 an hour value and provided a larger transport that allowed us to stand up inside! It was very nice and clean! The night of, we learned last minute that Powell Gardens had canceled their Festival of Lights for that night due to weather. So we last minute changed our plans and asked the driver to drive to KC and around the plaza to see their lights and then to a small bar for nice drinks! The driver was great and accommodating for the last minute changes! Would highly recommend!

We used custom Limousine to drive the party bus from our wedding to the reception. They have great service, are very polite, and punctual. We had a great time traveling with them!

We used custom limousines for my bachelorette party AND my wedding because they were so awesome and accommodating!! Custom Limousines Inc. was very professional and easy to work with. They were prompt whenever you called them and always knew exactly what they were talking about. Our driver was also very easy to work with and got us where we needed to be when we needed to be there. There is a change of time charge (if you change after a certain date) so make sure you are aware of that and clarify the date when you book with them. Overall we are very happy with them.

I rented the 12 passenger Mercedes Sprinter bus for my sister’s bachelorette party! From the moment I called (the week of needing the bus) the man helping us was so welcoming on the phone. He found us the perfect bus 3 days before the event. It was a beautiful bus and the lighting was amazing on the inside. Mr. Bill, our chauffeur, was great and took good care of us. I will definitely be using Custom Limousine again!

Custom Limo transported our bridal party from our ceremony to our reception. We stopped for pictures in between. Our driver was very nice and helpful. The bus was brand new and looked great on the inside. Our wedding day was hot and humid, but the bus was cool and had a big screen TV for the guys to watch as we drove to pictures. I'd recommend this company as they are easy to work with and want your day to be flawless.

Surprise pick up for my bachelor party - right on time, excellent new party "bus" (it was a Mercedes oversized van). Driver was awesome, more than willing to go wherever we asked and was friendly. I would definitely recommend to anyone have a similar event in the KC area.

We booked the "All Aboard" trolley on Sept 23 for our wedding and it did not disappoint. Wen we got on the trolley we were SO happy to have air conditioning, as it was a hot day. The trolley was clean and roomy. The driver was very welcoming and easy to work with. From start to finish this company made sure all the details and timing were accurate. Thanks!

I hate writing bad reviews but it is needed. I don't want another bride to deal with what we did. We ordered a trolley for the bridal party and the day before our wedding they called to tell us the trolley was out of service. What was more annoying is we found out that they knew on Tuesday of that week but decided to tell us 24-hours before the wedding. We were really disappointed.

For a day of fun the trolley we rented was nice the chauffeur we had was excellent. She made sure we had what we needed and got to have fun and enjoy ourselves. Even though the temperature was high the trolley was cool, not cold but anyone with common sense knows that when you have a vehicle with lots of windows and over 20 people it will warm up. But it was comfortable and nice.

Good experience. Highly recommend them. The company was good to work with, the driver very congenial and thoughtful and the trolley was a cool experience. We got a trolley to take the bridal party betweem the wedding and reception venues and then out after the reception. It was a little warm and smelled slightly of exhaust until we got moving but the driver was very thoughtful and brought cold water for everyone and a just married sign to hang on the front after the ceremony.

We booked the Night Rider party bus for our wedding party between the ceremony and reception so we could go take pictures. The driver was on time, well dressed and incredibly professional and nice. We lucked out on the weather being pretty cool that day, but for what we experienced the AC was more than enough to keep us cool. The bus was well received by the wedding party, the decor exceeded our expectations and the sound system was great. Would highly recommend.

DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE. I made a reservation with them for a trolley 4 months before my big day in May. As I was getting ready for my rehearsal dinner they called to tell me the Trolley broke down and they would be using a party bus instead. They framed it as an "upgrade" and acted as though I was getting a favor that they weren't charging me extra. I wasn't please but I could deal. However,, after my ceremony the bus was supposed to be right out front to pick the wedding party up to take pictures. The bus was no where to be found. My wedding coordinator tried to get someone on the phone and after 25 minutes she got the driver on the phone and he was about 15 minutes away. Putting us about 45 minutes behind the schedule. The driver was not familiar with any of the places we wanted to take pictures. We had to rush through our wedding photos in order to get back to our guests. When we got back to the venue we were obviously later than our reservation since the driver was late. The company charged us an overage fee for this. When I called to get a refund for the whole service they told me a owner would call me soon to talk about a refund. Two months later, and I haven't been called. We paid $1200 for about 1 HR of terrible service. On top of it I will now never have all of the pictures I wanted of my wedding. DO NOT GIVE THEM A PENNY!

We got married a week ago and our only bad vendor was Custom Limousine and Trolley. I had gotten price quotes that were going to match. They kept trying to sell me on something bigger than what we needed before they finally agreed to price match as they originally promised. That should have been my red flag. We went ahead and gave them our money. She asked if I wanted to precharge the tip. I told her no and asked how much tip is expected and she said just the standard 20%. She made it very clear once they charged my card I could not get money back. After she charged my card she sent me an email verification that included a 30% tip. I called her back and she said it was a simple oversight. I restated that the 20% tip should only be $66 and she said yes after verifying that with the manager. She restated that they thought I should tip more though. I explained that if I wanted to tip more that would be my decision and based on service as a tip should be. I hang up from that conversation and they are supposed to send me a new bill with the $66 stated as tip. I get a voicemail a few minutes later from the manager who said that they would be increasing the tip to $75 to guarantee I have an "A plus driver" otherwise they couldn't guarantee I had a great driver. I decided to just pay it because it was the week of my wedding and I was stressed enough but I felt it was completely unethical business practices. Anything over 20% should be my decision and based on service that day not something you have to do to get a quality driver. They should not have agreed to price match if it meant I would have bad service. Not to mention the hummer that showed up that day did not hold the amount of passengers they stated and it was miserably hot and they promised it would be cool. My bridal party didn't even want to ride in it because it was so hot, and that was supposed to be the relief from the heat while taking pictures.

Great way to start our day. All of our transportation needs were met and the staff was super friendly. Ready for our next adventure indeed.

Would recommend this company for any wedding venue around Kansas City. We really liked the newly upgraded fleet, especially the new LV Sprinter as well the classic trolleys to add to the overall wedding party experience!

I do not recommend this company. They did not successfully provide me with what I booked for my wedding and it was the only vendor that disappointed me on my wedding day. I was upset to walk out of my wedding ceremony to find the trolley I wanted broken down. While they did send additional vehicles, the damage had been done. I was embarrassed to have the first scene out of the church to be a broken down trolley and a smaller coach trying to jump it. We booked the trolley because it was commemorative of where we live and so it would fit everyone. Not everyone could fit in one smaller coach so we had to separate. If they knot the trolleys have these issues, stop renting them. Other local businesses have stopped for this exact reason and this business should to.

Trolley was great, cure, on time, helpful and the perfect touch to the perfect day.

We booked a driver to pick us up after our wedding reception and take us to the hotel. This was expected to be about a 15 minute trip, but it took 45 minutes. The driver didn't know how to use his GPS so we were lost several times and had to end up giving him to directions to our hotel. The car was nice, but I wouldn't book this company again after this experience.

They live up to their name, you really get to customize your experience. They did a fantastic job all the way around. Super easy to work with and very nice!

I had to take Uber to get to my wedding ceremony…. I have been debating rather or not to post this. I have never complained on a public forum about a company but after attending a wedding this weekend I felt inspire to share my story. I hope it helps future brides. My wedding was 7 months ago. I paid $780 for the American Heritage Trolley through this company. It was advertised on the website that the trolley was air conditioned which was very important to me since I knew it was going to be very hot in early September. The trolley was miserably hot and everyone was uncomfortable. After arriving at our second location for the photos I was informed that the trolley overheated and was out of service. This was about an hour before our scheduled ceremony. A new trolley was en route but we had to redirect the trolley to start picking up our guests at the hotels. The trolley was about 10 minutes late to pick up our guests and we were stuck at our photo location. We had to hire 4 Uber vehicles to drive us to the church which ended up costing approximately 100 dollars. After the wedding I moved out of the country to Japan. I tried to reach the company via email which was my only means of communication and I never heard back from them. I was never reimbursed for the money I paid for the trolley or the additional money paid for the 4 Uber XL vehicles we had to call to escort us to our wedding ceremony. At the end of the night the company did upgrade us to a trolley to take our guests home instead of the mini-shuttle coach that we paid for and I do appreciate that, however for spending almost $800 for 4 hours we should have had a better experience. It was very stressful and embarrassing to be stranded an hour before the wedding ceremony and be late to pick up our guests. Even 7 months later my friends are still talking about it and they make sure they avoid this company when wedding planning. The fact that I was not reimbursed even for the Uber vehicle our groomsmen paid for really left me sour about the company. If you want to go with this company please make sure you fix the contract to include having a functioning vehicle the entire time you pay or else you receive your money back. I assumed that was a given and sadly I was wrong. Best of luck wedding planning!

PLEASE NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! I got married two weeks ago, and they DIDNT SHOW UP FOR MY WEDDING. I called four months ago, booked my limousine, payed my deposite, and called them monthly to ensure all issues and details were covered. The limo was the get away ride for my husband and I, as well as our entire wedding party. We had it booked for an hour just for a fun time before arriving at the ceremony. My maid of honor called right after the ceremony to ensure they were close and they were TWO HOURS behind. They were not going to be at the church to pick us all up until after we were suppose to be dropped off at the venue. They didn't even call to tell us this.. We called and found out. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? As you can imagine, as a bride, I was so upset! No where to go and the entire get away scene was ruined. The best part of the entire situation.. Well I didn't even get an apology!!!! The company barely had sympathy for me. This was the biggest day of my life and they ruined what was the start of the entire party. To any future bride: DONT CHANCE IT. They didn't even get back with me (when I had to beg for a $600 refund check) until a week later! How unprofessional! Don't let them ruin your day!!!!

I booked a trolley to take our guests from the hotel to the venue and back. The trolley was very cute, so I was pleased with it. The driver was friendly and available all night to shuttle any guests back and forth, even if they wanted to leave early. However, I heard from our guests that he went in the wrong direction at first, causing him to make a very dangerous turn out into traffic that was not necessary. But he was fine the rest of the night. I think the price was probably a little high for just shuttling people back and forth, but that's partially our fault - we didn't want to go to any other locations for photos or anything. Extra stops are a service they provide and that's accounted for in this price.

It was pretty difficult working with them to get the trolley booked. I talked to a new person each time I called. I corresponded via email with one person but was told I had to call the main line for any additional details. I was quoted for a package that was different than I specified in my initial request which ended up taking quite a bit of time to get sorted out. Also, when we were on the trolley, the driver either got confused/lost or took a very round about way of getting to our picture location. This meant we were incredibly rushed for pictures and arrived late at our reception venue. He also dropped us off at the wrong entrance than what he was told by the venue, so our guests saw us before our "grand entrance" and we had to walk quite a ways to get around to the right side of the venue.

We had a trolley transport the entire bridal party around for photos. Our driver was great and they were on time and reasonably priced. What i enjoyed about the trolley versus a limo was that I could walk around and didn't have to scoot into a seat. Navigating around in a full length dress is tough enough and the trolley was perfect for us. Lots of fun!

We shopped around quite a bit for pricing on transportation. Kansas City Transportation had some excellent options for very reasonable princes. Our driver was very friendly, easygoing, and got all of our guests where they needed to go on time. Great experience!

We were nervous in booking a trolley for our wedding because we had heard they were more likely to break down. We spoke in length with Custom Limousine about this concern and some of the other reviews we had read online. They assured us that we would be taken care of on our day and that the bad review was from an upset former employee. They gave us a price we thought was fair, so we went ahead a booked the trolley. Unfortunately our trolley broke down. It was July in Kansas City, so it was obviously hot. It took an hour to get a new trolley to our location, which caused us to miss out on several pictures we were planning on. We made the most of our time, but when it came time to working with Custom Limousine to create a solution they were hard to get ahold of. When we did communicate with them, the person who had brought the new trolley and told us it took about an hour, went back on his word and said it was only a half hour. He had poor professionalism on the phone and left a sour taste in our mouth. I completely understand that things like this happen, but there is a professional, kind way to go about handling these problems, which we did not receive from Custom Limousine.

Custom Limousines and Trolleys is a wonderful company! All Trolleys were booked for the day of my Wedding but they worked with me in getting 2 Trolleys for my wedding day! One was there to drive us around from the hotel to the park to take photos and then to the church. Then the second Trolley picked us up from the church and took us to take more photos and to the reception. It may sound stressful but it was NOT at all! It went so smoothly! Both drivers knew exactly where to go, never got lost and had fun playing music for us in the Trolley! They both made sure we were taken care of. The Trolleys were a blast to ride in! It was the perfect transportation for our wedding day!!!! You have to use them if you want STRESS-FREE transportation and drivers that care about their clients.

We used them for shuttles for the guests between the hotel and the venue before the ceremony and after the reception. When we were researching options, they were so much easier than other companies to work with and helped us come up with the best, most affordable option for us! Drivers were friendly and helpful to guests all night, too!

We used the large 30 person bus for our bridal party from the hotel to the venue. It was perfect, spacious and clean, our driver was great. My groom and I took a private car from the venue to our hotel. He too was great, and it was a nice relaxing ride! Customer service is great and they have a good variety of clean vehicles to choose from.

I had always wanted a trolley to take my wedding party around and Custom Limousines and Trolleys had the perfect trolley! We had the trolley pick us up and take us around Kansas City to take pictures before the wedding ceremony and then drive us around for a while after the ceremony before going to the reception. Our driver was excellent! He went everywhere we wanted him to go and got us in the best spot so we didn't have to walk far! The trolley was air conditioned, which was a HUGE plus because it was 106 degrees + on our wedding day and we were taking pictures in the middle of the afternoon! He even had a connector for us to hook up our ipod for music and allowed us to bring (several) coolers with us. Everyone said they had a great time and it was the perfect type of transportation to have for our rather large wedding party! They had exceptional customer service and helped us out in many ways!

Custom Limo was great to work with regarding services offered, pricing and meeting our requests. The most important aspect of this company- they were ON TIME and IN THE RIGHT PLACE! If you don't want to worry about your transportation needs being met on your wedding day, consider Custom Limo. We enjoyed the Trolley and it was great that they had the champagne and everything ready for our wedding party as we requested. We were happy overall with the service.

We just used the limo to transport us from the reception to our hotel and everything was great!

I reserved the limo for two hours. They showed up on time which was my main concern. They were really great to work with. I wish they would have provided complimentary drinks. We got the 12 passenger star gazer white limo and it was really nice on the inside.

I was extremely happy with the customer service of KC Transportation. We had the party bus with karaoke, however, we were disappointed with the song selections for karaoke. The bus had a/c and the driver knew exactly where to go- and that is what counts!
