Absolutely wonderful experience. We had some issues as there was a change in management from the date that I had booked then to my event; however, everything worked out perfectly ...
the day of. The entire team was willing to work with us as we negotiated the contract. Rachael met with me multiple times to discuss everything and was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning time. Thank you for making my day prefect :)
Our wedding reception was held here in Spring 2017. We wanted a rustic, cabin-like location and this is the only one in the Raleigh, NC area. It is huge inside and beautiful. I gav...
e it 3 stars because the owners and staff are not great. The communication is HORRIBLE and it is difficult to understand them at times. I was so frustrated with them by 3 months out that I asked my DOC to deal with them. She said they were TERRIBLE to deal with, very difficult, and lacked communication. It took them over a month to respond to emails from me and her. Because of the stress it created, I would not recommend using this location. We did have a great wedding and everything went off without a hitch, as far as we know. I'm sure my DOC would say differently, but that's why we hired her. Overall, the location and building itself are perfect. The owners and staff are subpar, at best.
Had a great time! Nice place.
A beautiful rustic venue! Got additional hours for set up and the venue manager helped with rentals and floor plan.
Cypress Manor is a beautiful venue! It has a elegant rustic sort of theme and it worked really well with our vision. It is very large and can accomodate a large wedding, which was ...
great! I love the floorplan as well as it has several different areas to decorate, furnish and make it your own! I like that the dance floor has a bar near it and is overlooked by one level, so that even people who weren't dancing could enjoy watching. It made for a very fun night with lots of dancing and laughter! The only problems we encountered were some issues with communication, the bathroom lights were out so it was kind of dark in one restroom, and it was kind of warm with all of the dancing and people in the venue... However, those were minor details compared to all the great things about the venue... There was a change of ownership through our wedding planning, and it flowed pretty smoothly considering the changes. Apara, the venue coordinator, was very helpful over e-mail and most things went super smoothly. Would definitely recommend!!!! Thank you!
I enjoyed working with Amanda however, I feel that I was mislead and told one thing and when we got closer to the day, those details changed. I feel the price for the space is fair...
if you had the whole day. The fact that no one else gets the venue for the day you reserve it and you only get 8 hours for ceremony & reception is a bit unfair. If you are the only event for the day, why is there a time limit? I had to pay for a room flip having both ceremony & reception there, I had to pay for an extra hour as well. Your 8 hours started the minute your first vendor arrived and you had to be cleaned up in the 8 hours. I was not a happy bride about all those extras and details.
Don't ever use this place. This is one of the most terrible place. They can take your deposit without reason. They are unorganized, disrespect, unprofessional, and mean. They expec...
t you to pay anything you touch.
Beautiful venue, but overpriced for what is it. In addition to the price of the venue, they require you to hire an approved wedding planner. That adds to the cost. Overall I wish...
