Make use of the graceful reception rooms with their historic chandeliers, baby grand piano and lush décor, or celebrate in the charming half-acre garden with its enclosed brick patio and white pergola that will beautifully frame you and your partner with leafy magnolias as you begin your lives together. With the ability to accommodate up to 180 people, the possibilities include indoor & outdoor ceremonies, cocktail receptions, dinners, dancing, elopements, micro weddings and more! Howard is also responsible for all operations of the House to include guest rooms, maintenance, housekeeping, historic preservation, museum services/tours.

What a wonderful experience we had with the team at DACOR Bacon House! We hosted a pre-wedding cocktail party there in May of 2025, and even though weather nixed our plans to use ...
the patio, having the entire house available as a backup was incredible. It's also worth noting that this team did an outstanding job executing the event... we agonized over food choices and costs, but by the day of the event our minds were on the wedding. As it turned out, there was nothing to worry about... Sylvia and her team worked like a well-oiled machine, and everything we needed was there before we even know we needed it. I can't say enough good things about this team, and the house. It's truly a hidden gem of DC -- one your guests have probably never seen -- and everyone will come away with a great experience. If I could give 10 stars, I would!!

d customer service and ended up feeling more like we’ve been welcomed into the family of the staff.  All of our guests commented about the beauty of the venue, the superior quality of the food, warmth of staff, and great vendors.  We used only vendors that had worked with them before and every one of them loved working with DACOR staff, which I think says something.  They made us feel as if we were all co-hosting this event together and all on team “make us special”.  They helped us carve out a bubble of happiness in a city and time of much tumult.

I just had a wedding at DACOR Bacon House. The venue is stunningly beautiful, the food is incredible, and the space was PERFECT for our 120 person wedding. There are plenty of venu...
es that offer these things, but what makes DACOR special is the people. Every single member of their staff is passionate about creating your perfect wedding, and they can make just about anything happen. I couldn't have asked for better people to coordinate such a beautiful day. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

ppy to have my wedding and reception there as well! We had initially planned for the ceremony to occur outside in their courtyard, but weather intervened. Luckily, the staff was on top of it, and had already prepped the inside for the ceremony just in case. We had the ceremony on the second floor, then went downstairs for cocktails while they changed the room over. The staff was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious, and I'm so glad we had our wedding there.

Better than expected catering. Beautiful historic house. venue was fantastic. plannning was fine. utilizing the piano was a nice touch and we were able to provide our own liquor...
(with a corkage fee). would reccmmend
