and they did not disappoint for me when I was a bride! The pricing for the bride was a little steep (as expected), but I thought the pricing for the bridesmaids were more than fair. They even traveled 80 miles to my venue, which really meant a lot. Everyone's hair and makeup came out stunning, and they did not rush through any of the services. They stayed with us until everyone looked perfect!

My personal experience began with an extremely accommodating scheduling process for a trial. I arrived to find a small, intimate and completely welcoming Salon. I walked into a genuinely friendly greeting from the receptionist, and then Dana made it a point to introduce herself. While I hadn’t planned on meeting her, I was happy to. I was assigned to Jazmin, which turned out to very fortunate for me. She was amazing. She has a great personality, is an excellent listener and always stayed completely focused on getting things perfect. I left that trial with the make-up and hair that I asked for. She got it exactly right – all in the first go round. Jazmin made the experience painless and stress-free then and afterwards with timely responses to my emailed questions. On my wedding day she showed up right on time with a big smile and a ton of product. While she was only scheduled to take care of me she was completely ready for any last minute additions. Being familiar with Jazmin and comfortable with her, hair and make-up on my wedding day was smooth sailing. She replicated what we had approved at the trial, working quickly and calmly and with a couple of laughs during the process. Overall, I highly recommend Dana Bartone & Company as a bridal hair & make-up salon. I can’t say enough good things about Jazmin. She is talented, sincere and respects the role she plays in your special day, but most importantly, she really cares. It was a pleasure to meet and work with her.

Sara did my makeup and Jazmin did both of our hair and everything looked even better that we could have imagined. We gave them some ideas and they just ran with it. The day of the wedding was the most organized set up I could have ever imagined. Sara, Jazmin and Lauren had the timing down perfectly for each girl, as they knew we were on a tight schedule, but it never felt rushed. They kept the morning fun and made all of the girls look stunning. My hair and makeup on the day of the wedding looked just as perfect as it did in the trial and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It also stayed put through all of the tears and the long night of celebrating. Lauren did my hair and it came out even better than my trial and was exactly what I had dreamed of. Overall, my hair and makeup team made the day so special and put any stress I had at ease. My future sister-in-law (my brother's fiancee) said that she has never been happier with the way her hair was styled! They are considering using Dana Bartone & Co. for their wedding in October! Dana was our make-up artist and we could not have asked for a more flexible, wonderful, talented artist! She knew exactly what each person needed to make them look even more beautiful than they already did :) Even when I asked for an extra step of highlighting, she did everything perfectly to the last step! 100% recommend!

r 2016 wedding and I called a few days later to book the same 3 talented women for my wedding on July 22, 2017. Lauren, Angela and Jazmin set the tone for the whole wedding day. They are calm, friendly, and flexible. There were 10 of us for hair and makeup and they made every person feel so beautiful. There was no rushing or stress. As for my bridal hair and makeup, I was unsure of what exactly I wanted. Lauren and Angela worked with me at my trial to create a look that was so perfect. On the day of the wedding, they tailored the look to my preferences and I was so happy with the result. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. gela were not only amazing at what they did, they were so lovely to spend time with during the day. I did a hair trial a few months earlier with Patty, and it was smooth and pleasant- we played around with my ideas and came up with something perfect. I didn't get a makeup trial because I had previously gotten just makeup done with them at my friends wedding. My hair and makeup was exactly what I had asked for. Patty made it super secure, it lastest all day (even with a sprinkle of rain and without a hairspray touch up!). Angela asked a few questions, and jumped right in, knew exactly what to do, and made me look like the best version of myself. Now I even have a new favorite lipstick! My makeup lasted all day as well with just a few lip touch ups after eating and drinking. These two were awesome and we even had time to squeeze in one more person for makeup since we were so ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this company and Patty and Angela. The booking process was clear and smooth, everyone I talked to was so welcoming and wonderful. I never felt more beautiful!

Jazmin came with us and went above and beyond -- we ran very behind schedule with the photographer (because I tried to squeeze to much in) and Jazmin was such a trooper, staying much later than planned to make sure we all looked and felt beautiful for every shot! The whole team was terrific and we had a lot of fun working with them, but someone staying hours longer than expected, and with such a great attitude, really shows how much they care about making your special day perfect... I couldn't have asked for more!!!

I booked a company close to my venue, but had uneasy feelings that they were just not the right company for me and my bridal party. I came across Dana Bartone & Co after following one of their stylists on Instagram. I immediately contacted them and spoke with the most kind woman on the phone. I figured I would give them a shot. I booked a trial appointment with my mom for hair and makeup. My mom traveled 3 hours to CT for the trial appointment. Literally 30 minutes before the appointment we got a call that the hair stylist came down with the flu. I was bummed!! We decided to go to the trial anyways to have our makeup done. When we arrived, we were met by the most kind and funny woman, Laura. She sat me down and started my makeup, asking for picture suggestions. She absolutely nailed it!! She did everything I asked for- and everything I didn't know I wanted. About 5 minutes later, the owner, Dana came in. She said she was not scheduled to work, but heard that our hair stylist was sick, so she came in to do the hair trial herself. Talk about incredible customer service!!! Dana did a hair trial for both my mom and I to help us get an idea of what we wanted. She took detailed photos to give to the stylist who would do my hair the morning of the wedding. The best part of booking with Dana's company was that they traveled to my home the morning of the wedding. This made everything so easy. The team (Laura, Lauren, and Annya) showed up at 8am. First of all, they were SO FUN to be around. They joked with us, and made me feel so calm. They paid close attention to every hair and makeup detail. I (and my girls) have never felt so beautiful. And if this review hasn't quite convinced you- TWO of my bridesmaids have since booked with Dana Bartone for their upcoming weddings. Ive since made Dana Bartone my new salon and get so excited to visit their incredible staff.

Prior to my hair and makeup trial I was a little worried because I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but Dana and Lauren immediately put my mind at ease. On the morning of the wedding, Dana and her team arrived promptly on time ready and eager to tackle a group of 12 women, which really set a positive note for the entire day. It was so great starting our morning with them, blasting 90s music and chatting while everyone got their hair and makeup done. Everything ran on schedule the entire morning, and we were all ready right on time, just as the photographer and videographer were set to arrive. Dana did such an amazing job on my makeup, expertly adjusting the colors from my trial to match my summer tan, and making sure not to make me (or anyone else!) look too overdone. Lauren is one of the best hair artists I have ever come across-she can honestly do any hairstyle that is thrown her way and is not ruffled by any request! Dana, Lauren, and the rest of the team made all of my bridesmaids, my mom, and mother-in-law look absolutely stunning. We all looked fresh all day and night, despite the heat and humidity, and in the pictures I have seen everyone looks great. From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank Dana Bartone & Co enough for making me and all of the most important ladies in my life look absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day. When I met Erica, I knew that she would be perfect. I am not used to wearing a lot of makeup, and she took me step by step through the process. She listened to me when I wanted to make any changes and made me realize that some of my changes weren't needed! My makeup and all of our makeup was perfect. I would 100% recommend Dana Bartone Salon (especially Abby and Erica!) for anyone who wants a classic, clean, natural look for their wedding. I felt so good!

went for a trial first. Lauren did my hair exactly the way I asked, but after seeing pictures of it with my dress I decided that I wanted something different. I was nervous not to see it before the wedding day, but I shouldn’t have been. Even though I asked for something completely different, Lauren did an amazing job. Both of them were adamant about me being vocal if I didn’t like something and they were diligent in fixing the smallest thing on all of us until we felt like we looked perfect. I can honestly say I have never seen my mother, my mother in law, or my sister look more beautiful. My sister who is the pickiest person I’ve ever met when it comes to hair and makeup literally had nothing to say except how much she loved everything. Dana and Lauren were also completely organized and professional, making getting ready a breeze and pleasure. All we had to do is show up and we were in their hands. With how much pressure there is to look and be a certain way on your wedding, put your hair and makeup into Dana’s hands and let them help you take some of that pressure of. I would use them again in a heartbeat and will go to them for every special occasion that I can!

By the day of the wedding my eyebrows had grown back almost fully and she didn't have to create them but I had the peace of mind of knowing she could if needed. The make up was so natural but long lasting. She was able to blend my skin color to cover all scars and radiation redness. Overall a great place for makeup especially if you have special needs due to illness or injury.

And the price was about half that of other salons I contacted who didn't have someone who specializes in vintage looks. Moreover, there was no other hairstylist available for my date. It is completely incomprehensible how such an error was made after several phone calls and multiple e-mails confirming their availability for this date. This is a huge warning to any brides out there that this salon double books and does not even have the courtesy to look into it until it's too late.

All the girls had different lengths/types of hair and she made everyone look amazing. Erica was great at making makeup suggestions given the colors of the dresses and each girls' individual coloring. It looked just as perfect on the third day as it did when they just finished. One issue I did have was I bought a product from the salon and was told I could return it if I didn't like the product. I ended up not liking the product and Dana told me I couldn't return it.
