Working with Danielle for almost 1.5 years was a dream! If we could give her a 1,000 stars we would! From the start, she made the whole planning process a breeze and was always so ...
organized. Anything we needed she was always a text or phone call away and was on top of anything we had questions about. She made our southern charm vision come to life above and beyond what we ever could have imagined! Her team on our wedding day was absolutely AMAZING. We cannot thank Danielle and her team enough for our dream of a wedding. We would HIGHLY recommend Danielle and her team to anyone planning a wedding!
We highly, highly recommend hiring Danielle. At first, I wasn’t sure if we really needed a wedding planner - I am pretty type A and wanted to be heavily involved in sourcing and ch...
oosing our vendors. But hiring Danielle was absolutely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
Not only did Danielle bring great vendors to the table—many of whom she has longstanding relationships with—but she made an incredibly complicated wedding feel completely seamless. She came with suggestions and expertise, and always listened to what we wanted for our day.
Our wedding was unique and had a huge number of moving pieces. Our ceremony took place three miles offshore at a lighthouse in the middle of Long Island Sound. The lighthouse wasn't a traditional wedding venue, and had only ever done 2 lowkey weddings before, so our challenge was huge. Our guests watched the ceremony from boats, and when we first started planning, we had no idea how everyone would even be able to hear the ceremony. When we brought the idea to Danielle, she didn’t flinch. She worked with our band, the multiple boat captains, and the lighthouse team to figure out the logistics, sound, timing, and all of the permits/licenses/whatever else that came with holding a ceremony in such an unusual location. The amount of coordination required was honestly insane, and we were incredibly lucky that we didn’t have to worry about any of it ourselves.
The wedding day ran unbelievably smoothly. Danielle brought an amazing team of attendants who went so far above and beyond what we ever expected. At one point, one of them drove to buy nail polish that matched my mom’s manicure after one of her nails chipped, and then painted her chipped nails while we were getting ready. Another helped get stains out of my dress after we took photos on some wet grass. Danielle even sewed my flower girl’s dress herself so we could swap out the ribbon to better match our colors. These were the kinds of little things that could easily have become stressful, but instead they were simply handled before we even had time to worry about them.
Danielle was invaluable throughout the planning process. She knew exactly what size tent we needed for our guest count, worked through countless layout options with me until we found the absolute best setup, and met with us whenever we needed her. Whether I texted her at 6 a.m. or 10 p.m., it somehow felt like she was always available and ready to answer a question.
Most importantly, I had complete confidence in Danielle and her team on the wedding day. I didn’t have to think about whether vendors were arriving on time, whether everyone knew where they needed to be, or whether a problem had come up behind the scenes. She handled it and I could enjoy the morning getting ready with my friends and family.
If you are considering hiring Danielle, do it. She genuinely dedicates the time and attention your wedding needs, she is completely unfazed by complicated logistics, and she will do everything she can to make sure the day runs smoothly. We truly could not have pulled off our wedding without her.

eamlessly and made sure our family was included in the planning every step of the way. She listened to exactly what we wanted and never pushed her own agenda.
What truly sets her apart is the kind of person she is. She went out of her way to check in on us during stressful moments and showed up with genuine care that made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell she truly loves what she does and the people she does it for. She is able to completely transform a space with her eye for detail. On wedding day everything was handled for us and the only thing we had to worry about was enjoying time with our favorite people.
Hiring Danielle was the best decision we made. We could not have done it without her.

utely amazing on Wedding Day and went above and beyond to unload our car when the venue wouldn’t accept items early at the last minute. She took care of all the details both big and small and made the process so enjoyable. The transformation of the ballroom was spectacular and she pulled together an outstanding team of wedding professionals that made our vision even better than we imagined. She helped us select the perfect chairs, linens, and lighting which all made such a difference and created the most beautiful reception space. We would absolutely recommend Danielle and her team!

ghout that time she was organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life- even in ways we hadn’t realized we were dreaming of.
She has an incredible gift for balancing professionalism with warmth. Danielle always made sure my husband’s and my voices were at the center of every decision, while also helping our families feel involved and valued. With our demanding work schedules we needed someone we could fully trust to manage the countless moving parts, and Danielle exceeded every expectation. I always knew I could reach her whenever I needed, and she took the time to help us clarify and refine our vision every step of the way.
Her vendor recommendations were spot-on, and she coordinated the entire team seamlessly, keeping communication clear and calm at every stage. She handled nearly all of the logistics behind the scenes, and I was always 100% confident in her. On the wedding day itself, she and her team were flawless. Everything ran smoothly, and we were able to be fully present knowing Danielle had thought of every detail.
Thanks to her expertise, we truly had the best day of our lives. We can’t recommend Danielle highly enough. She is organized, creative, and an absolute joy to work with!

ammoth task in and of itself but with Danielle, every single detail was addressed and many that we didn’t even think of. Her attention to detail, temperament and to truly listen and capture her clients wishes is beyond expectation. Danielle always assured us and kept us on track with all the details that goes into planning the wedding of your dreams; and that is exactly what we got.
Danielle always kept in touch with emails, texts messages, zoom meetings, in- person meetings; answered all our questions, no matter how small or big our questions were. When being stuck on a decision, Danielle always suggested options and her favorite phrase was “ whatever you guys want, we can work with it”. All the vendors she suggested and contracted was truly an extension of Danielle’s professionalism and perfection in what they do.
As the mother of the bride, all I wanted was for Belissa and Erik to have a beautiful beginning to their forever…. And boy did they get that.

The hard work and dedication by Danielle, as well as her amazing team, was evident in the details of our day and certainly did not go unnoticed by our wedding guests. My husband and I were at ease knowing that Danielle and her team were there with us at every step during the day and it helped us focus on being present and enjoying every moment. urning rentals, finding missing silverware and puppy cake toppers), Danielle was there for us every step of the way. Her incredible knowledge of the industry, great network of vendors, impeccable organization, and thoughtfulness helped us get through a stressful planning process in a short six month window. Danielle helped us navigate the daunting process of creating an outdoor, tented wedding at the groom's family home. She helped us create beautiful designs, delicious menus and personalized details, all while staying as close to budget as possible. The day of the wedding was seamless and we got to enjoy every minute of our wedding day thanks to Danielle's ability to execute flawlessly. Even minor hiccups were taken care of because of Danielle's emergency kit (red stains on my white wedding dress removed without a trace before first look; dress hemmed two inches with safety pins mid reception because my dress stretched .. just to name a few! Danielle is kind, patient, is able to navigate challenging family dynamics and personalities, and genuinely wants to create the perfect day for her clients. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect, and we are so grateful!

in Portland in July, and as daunting as planning a wedding would have been in ordinary circumstances, everything was made more intense by planning it during the pandemic. The state restrictions on guest count and logistical requirements changed literally every week, but Danielle took it in stride and was proactive about keeping tabs on how everything was effecting our event and what we could do to adjust. Besides that, I truly appreciated how I could ask her a question or raise a potential hurdle, and she would come up with three solutions on the spot and say it’s whatever feels best to me. Having her there on the wedding day as the day-of coordinator made everything so special, as well. We had a bunch of table decor that wasn’t labeled or organized the best, and she totally pulled out all the stops and created the most dreamy reception scape of my dreams out of the chaos. Not to mention how she calmed my nerves and helped me to focus on the really important part of the day, the fact that I was about to walk forward into a new life with my husband. There are so many more anecdotes I could tell to illustrate what an incredible asset and person she was to have on our team, but I’ll summarize it by saying Danielle will forever have my gratitude, and we were so incredibly lucky to have her.

h she proved to be. She truly took the stress out of the time leading up to our wedding by working with all of my vendors to put together a thorough timeline of the day and doing as many meetings and walk throughs at the venue as needed before the big day. On the day of the wedding everything ran smoother than I even anticipated! We were always ahead of schedule but never felt rushed and my family and I were able to enjoy the day without worrying about any of the details. Danielle turned even my parents, who were skeptical of me hiring a day of coordinator, into believers! My parents both said after the wedding how happy they were that I hired her and how impressed they were at how well she managed the day and all of the vendors. Danielle was always pleasant and knows how to get things done. I highly highly recommend hiring Danielle, you won't be disappointed!
Danielle’s attention to detail, depth of relationships, and knowledge about event production made her the perfect choice for our wedding planning needs. The care and attention she ...
gives her work and her clients is evident in everything she does.
When we needed to postpone our wedding, 10 weeks out, Danielle was fast acting, supportive, and proved she is worth her weight in gold! In less than 48 hours we went from a 4 AM “what if” text to being fully aligned with our vendors on a new date with clear next steps, all thanks to her quick and decisive guidance.
After 2+ years of planning, she and her team executed an incredible, memorable, and special day that we’ll treasure for a lifetime. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her partnership, guidance, and constant support.

le and her team helped me change course multiple times while staying on top of regulation changes and vendor options. Ultimately, Danielle helped plan a fabulous event and it led to a stress free day for me. She has great ideas and I loved brainstorming all the possibilities. Danielle is wonderful at checking in when necessary and being realistic and honest in her suggestions. Would definitely recommend Danielle Caldwell Events!
Last weekend we had the wedding of our dreams. That came after a series of nightmares in which we had to delay due to COVID, and had to part ways with our original wedding planner ...
after they tried to charge us thousands extra midstream. We were desperate to save our wedding without being exploited and miraculously we found Danielle!
She stepped right in, took over a very complicated situation, handled everything with skill and professionalism, pulled off a perfect weekend, and throughout it all was a source of comfort, kindness, and friendship whenever we were stressed out or in need of emotional support.
We truly cannot speak highly enough of the service she provided, but beyond that, when you hire her you are signing up to work with a delightful person who is really a joy to get to know and spend time working with. I can't imagine how we could have kept our dream wedding alive without her by our side.
It was beyond a pleasure working with Danielle. I can only say positive things about our entire experience working with her. We started planning our wedding on our own and quickly ...
realized we needed help to bring it all together. It was a seamless transition bringing Danielle in and we are so glad we did. The stress was gone and it was nothing but a joyous seven months planning down to every last detail knowing we had Danielle every step of the way. We experienced a fluctuating guest list that settled at 225, had a vendor that closed their doors a few short months out and a bride with an ever expanding vision! Danielle handled it all with grace and never let us experience any panic or concern. She handled every detail, reviewed every note and was so easy to communicate with. Hands down, wouldn’t have had the exceptional day we had without her. Our guests continue to rave to this day about our wedding and all the thanks goes to Danielle. She truly is one of the best things about our day, we are so thankful we got to have her join us in that season of life! She continues to connect with us and congratulates us on all of life’s greatest moments. I know she will have a budding future filled with many moments to celebrate herself and we can’t wait to congratulate her!

iented, and creative. She has so much industry experience and was able to recommend things that were not only elegant but cost-saving. She is incredibly flexible and responsive and you get the sense that she loves what she does. I felt like Danielle and her team were very invested in our wedding and ensuring that we had the perfect experience. On the day of our wedding, Danielle & team managed everything so smoothly that I was able to relax and truly enjoy my wedding day. We had some crazy things happen (a car accident that broke a window at our venue!!!) and Danielle handled it quickly and professionally. I didn't even know it happened until later! Working with Danielle is hands down the best decision I made as a bride. Having someone on your team who is responsible for the minutiae means you'll be able to have a stress free event. I could go on and on and on about her skills! She has great taste and creates unique and elegant events.

ced after our first consultation with Danielle and she made our wedding day (and all of the planning) absolutely perfect. Sure, we could have done it on our own, but we would have wasted so much more time, stress and money if we hadn’t have worked with a professional. Working with Danielle was best decision we made and the wedding wouldn't have been so successful without her.
Leading up to the wedding, Danielle was beyond accommodating. She communicated with all of our vendors and set up a venue walk through so that they were all prepared for the day of. She even suggested we ship purchases for the wedding to her house and helped us source last minute details. She went above and beyond to help us execute our vision.
On the wedding day, she handled everything –from finding misplaced corsages, coordinating last minute timeline changes, making sure we always had fresh food, and having backups of literally everything so that when MY BEST FRIEND SPILLED RED WINE SPILLED ON MY WEDDING DRESS, she was prepared and had tools on hand to get the wine out. SHE WAS AMAZING. It was truly the perfect day and we can’t thank Danielle enough for all of her work to make our wedding day so special.
