king sure we had the wedding of our dreams and that everything was exactly how we dreamed it. The food was phenomenal and all of our guests left raving about both the appetizers and the entrees. That said, although the spread was PERFECT, the hospitality offered by them was even better. Everyone who works in their office, and those who worked the day of our event, was kind, attentive and efficient. We could not have had a better experience and would HIGHLY recommend!

I liked how the company had everything included from table rentals to linen and silverware and chargers. My only thing is it the salmon option I had during the tasting had a mango salad served with it but this changed somewhere along the planning process to a garlic yogurt sauce that I was not a fan of.

Their candor about what we really needed and didn't need at our ceremony saved us money, and on the day of, our bridal attendant and site coordinator went above and beyond to take care of us and ensure our ceremony went smoothly. When our grandma couldn't get up from her chair to see the dessert table, they took pictures of it their phones and helped her pick which treats she'd like, then brought her that selection on a platter. They also did this for her during cocktail hour, with the passed appetizers. Fabulous service.

The menu options that David Allen offers are wide ranging, very well priced and very friendly to food allergies and sensitivities. David Allen was very flexible and helped us design a menu that was true to our desires and accommodated our budget. Our catering manager and all of the catering staff were incredible and helped our wedding day go exactly as we hoped for. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us and our guests throughout the entire night. Our food was absolutely amazing and we continue to get compliments from friends and family about how good the dishes were and how nice the catering staff were. We would definitely recommend David Allen.

We had people coming up to us at our wedding telling us how amazing the food was. And as if the food isn’t enough reason to book, the team is so kind and eager to help and flexible. They stopped at nothing to make sure our food vision came to life. David Alan is one of the best decisions we could have made when planning our wedding. We worked with Rachael throughout the planning process, who was extremely attentive and always available to help us/answer our questions. On the day of, our main coordinator was Jenaya who was equally as amazing! On top of all this, the food was AMAZING. We loved our food at the tasting and it was just as good, if not better, the day of. Many guests, even 1 month later, are still complimenting us on how amazing the food was. Sometimes at weddings the food can be sub-par, but I can truthfully say that David Alan's food is incredibly delicious.

Jenaya took care of every detail in planning down to the smallest details of our menu and up to coordinating the ceremony and reception for our large indoor winter wedding in a multi-roomed mansion. Rachel was our day-of coordinator, and we couldn’t have done it without her! We did our own décor, and she set it up for us, accomplishing a magical feel that we couldn’t have imagined ahead of time. We had some vendors come late, and Rachel took the worry right out of our hands, commanding us to enjoy the day and getting all our vendors together in the background, without a hitch! Every single thing we discussed ahead of time – setting up family photos, arranging our guest table flowers, timing for lighting our candles, and moving chairs without getting in the way of our guests in an already tight indoor space – was done and then some. And at the end of the night, Rachel had us all packed up by the time we had finished saying goodbye to our last guest – we made it to the after party without delay! Rachel is enthusiastic and detailed-oriented, and we were so grateful she was there with us for our day. And finally, Allie was our bridal attendant. She was so kind to us. She took care to reassure me when my emotions threatened to overwhelm me right before walking into the ceremony, handed us our signature drink the minute the wedding ended, and made sure we were fueled by snacks for the entire evening while we visited with our family and friends and danced the night away. David Alan could’ve told us over and over that things couldn’t be done – we couldn’t fit all our guests into the configuration we wanted for our dinner, or that they couldn’t help with our décor (these were all things we heard from other caterers when we interviewed them) and they never did. They helped us to plan the perfect wedding day, making sure the vision we had was achievable, and taking care of even the smallest details for a perfect day. We are so grateful, and we would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding of their own!

DA was present for our final walkthrough and were so thorough that I felt beyond confident that the wedding day would run smoothly. They also made sure that my husband and I had anything we needed during the wedding and brought us apps and drinks throughout the night. The bartenders even hand delivered us drinks before last call which I thought was so nice. Our guests had clean plates by the end of dinner they loved the food so much. Can't recommend enough! A couple months out from the wedding, our friends and family are still talking about how amazing the food was, especially the passed hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour. One guest even remarked that the mashed potatoes served were the best he's ever eaten. I would also like to point out that I did not have a wedding planner, and that I got married at a barn venue with no on-site employees. I cannot thank the DAHG staff enough for acting not only as my caterer but event coordinator as well. I sent them a spreadsheet schedule and they worked seamlessly with our band and photographer to ensure the day's events flowed smoothly. I cannot tell you how much stress was alleviated from me knowing that they had everything under control. I really feel they went above and beyond in this regard. Our head waitress even helped mop up the bathroom floor after an overflow in the ladies' room... 100% not her responsibility but much appreciated!! Overall great food, great people, and flawless execution from David Alan Hospitality Group.

He was fabulous! We are giving 4 stars, not 5 because communication was hard at points leading up to our day. The person assigned to us could only speak through email, not the phone. When we went for our tasting we also got some weird vibes from her. This is not to take away from the amazing service we actually received. We just felt that seating information shouldn’t have been asked for 2 days before our wedding and contractual dates were DA’s responsibility to reach out to us about. They missed the ball on some big things. It all ended up fine. Just being transparent.

Everyone raved about the food (still drool thinking about it). Second, they are so flexible with the planning! Lots of options for table settings and linens, the aforementioned menu customization, a BYO-alcohol option. And finally, the people we worked with there were fantastic! They responded promptly to all of our questions and were transparent about pricing and they also helped so much during the planning process. I loved them all so much. Truly the best part of our wedding was having David Alan.

s. Half of them did not get any, including myself and my husband and our families. We had multiple meetings where we discussed our guest count and appetizers to be served. The dinner was good but some people had their steaks incorrectly cooked and some meals were cold. Brandy was our coordinator for the day and she was very helpful in asking my husband and I throughout the night if we wanted any drinks but we were very upset that we did not get any of the appetizers we had picked out and paid for.

We opted for a banquet style dinner, a full bar (open for half the night, cash the later half), a 2 tier cake for cutting, and a milk and cookie bar for dessert. The bar tenders were also able to accommodate both of our signature drinks. Everything was so delicious! We also decided to hire their day of coordination services, which was the BEST decision we made. They set up almost all our decorations and took care of us the whole day! Thank you David Alan for playing such a key role on our special day.

If you’re reading this review, you’re probably about to plan a wedding and you’re probably realizing that catering is going to be the most expensive line item on the bill so you don’t want to mess it up. I can confidently say, David Alan was a 10/10 experience – absolutely exceptional in every way. Wedding food usually is average at best, but that wasn’t the case with David Alan. A week after our wedding and we still get the occasional text from friends “The food was AWESOME! Please tell me you saved some apps that I can get from you!” And I’m able to personally vouch for that, despite the cliché that the married couple doesn’t eat, because Rachael made sure we had apps set aside for us to eat in private and our entrees waiting for us as well. Excellent food, excellent service and a genuine attention to detail that my wife and I will never forget. BEYOND happy with our experience!

AL. Absolutely perfect. The cost was just an added bonus, more than reasonable. They decorated our venue exactly how I asked. The staff was SO KIND; I had guests comment after the wedding how wonderful the waitstaff was. At one point, I couldn't locate our day-of coordinator (different vendor) and their point person went above and beyond and made sure to grab my groom and I drinks so we didn't have to get up during dinner which wasn't her job per se. Hands down recommend this company 10/10 to anyone considering them. They were truly exceptional and one of our top notch vendors for all of our wedding festivities. You won't be disappointed. BOOK THEM!

As time went on, it began to feel like it was a privilege and an honor to be able to work with DAHG. There actually aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe DAHG. We have two viewpoints: One of your common wedding planning and one of a global pandemic. When we thought we were having planning our original 2020 wedding, the staff DAHG was patient, understanding, kind, helpful, supportive, available. I was in contact with Meghan, who was handling our 2020 wedding and we had the privilege of meeting Rachael during our tasting. The food quality at the tasting was AMAZING—we took whatever was left home, nothing disappointed. Anything we wanted, any kitchen notes we wanted to make, was taken into consideration, and held at high regard. We booked them in 2019 for our 2020 wedding and then pivoted to 2021 due to the pandemic. When we made this decision, the staff of DAHG was compassionate and understanding and always helpful. During this transition to 2021, Rachael took over as our “go to” person. Rachael was there to ease our minds and worries, help up pivot to a safe wedding of our dreams, listen to me when I asked a million questions, respond to all those questions with patience and knowledge. She was there, along for the ride, and, on what felt like a very long journey, felt more like a friend. I don’t imagine that it is ease to work in a hospitality field—dealing with so many personalities and people—but Rachael has an understanding and belief that each couple is just as important as the next. She was.. she is amazing. Although knowing the catering company is made of little miracle workers, it is also very important to note FOOD. We are a family who loves food. And we must say THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. 5 people in 2 hours texted me to tell me that the filet was like butter! The quality of the food and presentation was at utmost importance to DAHG and you could tell in every dish. I can sit here and type a 5 page review on how much we loved DAHG and how satisfied we were with them. But, in short, if you need a caterer, don’t bother looking anywhere else—just go to DAHG.
