We had a great experience with David Thomas Trailways! They were very easy to work with for our wedding transportation needs and Connie made all of the logistics super easy!

My husband and I used David Thomas Trailways for our wedding shuttle service. We worked with Connie and she was a pleasure to work with! Her communication was great and she was so knowledgable with the timing and shuttle options. We ended up choosing the air conditioned school bus to take our guests to and from the hotel. The bus was clean and cool, especially in the middle of summer! We appreciate David Thomas Trailways for helping us make our wedding day run smoothly!!

The planning with David Thomas was very good. On the day of we had 2 busses. I did receive negative feedback regarding 1 driver's comments and heard from guests that the bus was not outside of the hotel as expected. I don't know the details. Otherwise, all went well

We used David transportation for my son’s wedding this weekend and I can’t even begin to sing their praises . Our wedding was in the city and while it was all walkable , it was winter. From my initial meeting with Connie , it was smooth sailing ! she provided valuable insight on selecting buses ( saved me a lot of money by going with school buses which were GREAT), as well as identifying how many we needed for the day . The team we worked with to book our wedding day was extremely helpful! They were very accommodating. The only thing we wished we had clarified on was we booked a bus at 10pm for anyone that wanted to leave early and then two buses for 11pm for the remainder of our guests. They waited until the 10pm bud was full after 10:45pm to leave. So we had guests sitting on a bus for 45+ minutes which was a bummer & something we should have made clear that we didn’t want the bus to wait until it was full.

My biggest concern here was timeliness and the ability to make multiple trips that had guests arriving as expected. They absolutely succeeded! The team was easy to work with. The timelines were clear. They knew the city well and definitely were prepared. The transportation was clean and something I was proud of for our guests. Highly recommend.

David Thomas was fantastic to work with from start to finish! They had such a wide range of options to choose from which was super helpful while we were planning. They were very flexible in allowing us to downsize the number of shuttle busses we needed at the last minute when we realized that we only needed one bus instead of two. We chose the 50 passenger air conditioned school bus, which was a very reasonably priced option to transport a large number of our guests between our wedding venue and hotel. The staff at David Thomas always communicated with us promptly throughout the entire planning process. Highly recommend!!

Loved how easy it was to work with David Thomas Railways. A week before my wedding the other company I was dealing with told me they couldn't promise me air conditioning on my bus for a July wedding. I immediately started calling around and glad I got in touch with this company they had availability, matched pricing and got me booked within the hour. The bus was better then expected and my guests had a ride to and from my wedding. Would definitely recommend!

Dave Thomas Trailways was truly a pleasure to work with for my daughter’ wedding. Everyone we spoke with was polite, helpful, organized and offered suggestions as to the best ways to plan and deliver transportation to our guests. The bus arrived on time with the air conditioning at a nice cool temp for our HOT day. The driver was personable and professional. He even checked with me before leaving for the last run to make sure everyone was on board. I can't say enough great things about this place!! I worked with Dorrie to book my transportation for my hotel guests who were staying at a nearby hotel to and from my venue, and she was just awesome to work with. This was by far THE most affordable option I could find in the area and their affordable price came with even better service. We booked an air conditioned school bus and it was perfect! They even made 2 return trips for us on the way back to the hotel so that some guests could leave early. 10/10!!! Highly recommend!!!

We hired David Thomas Trailways as transportation for wedding between the ceremony location and the reception venue, and then back at the end of the night. The buses did their job of getting guests from point A to point B but we have been hearing various stories from guests in the weeks following the wedding that are a bit disappointing. First off Debbie was very responsive and overall great to work with! Our experience leading up to the event was good! She coordinated all of the details with my husband, multiple times, on the phone. When he tried to provide precise directions on how to get to the venue, he was told that David Thomas Trailways has a wedding at our reception venue almost weekly, and the drivers won't have any issues getting there. Unfortunately, we heard from guests that the second bus, carrying all of our immediate family members got lost and the driver did not really know where to go. He had some papers he tried looking through but the bus was delayed in getting to the cocktail hour and there were some stressful moments along the way. We also arranged for one of the buses to make a trip from the reception and back to the hotels prior to the end of the reception -- this was to be unannounced (we stressed this to all vendors) and was primarily just for the elderly guests and those with young children (as we didn't want our wedding reception to empty out over 1.5 hours before the wedding was over). We had personally notified just those guests who would need to utilize this earlier trip. Unfortunately, we later learned that the bus driver had announced that he will be back at 10:30 to pick up guests. Some of our younger guests thought they needed to take this earlier trip to ensure that they got a ride back to the hotels. This explained why our reception felt quite empty towards the end of the night, missing many of our friends. A few of the people this earlier bus ride was purposely for (a grandmother and her 2 year old granddaughter) were unable to utilize it because they were told the bus was full. Additionally, we had arranged for the other bus to make itself available in case a separate trip had to be made -- we had multiple pregnant guests and children and just wanted to have the reassurance that they could get a ride if needed at another point in the night. Well, it turned out that my pregnant sister sprained her ankle, and no one could find the buses at that time. Her husband ended up calling multiple ubers (which kept canceling on him because of the remote location of the venue) and missed almost 2 hours of the wedding reception just trying to deal with that. In our planning, we were hopeful that having the buses would mitigate this sort of situation and could be there in the event someone needed to make a trip back to the hotels (or even just to a Walgreens to get some medication and bandages). Though our experience with booking David Thomas Trailways went smoothly, it was not a very smooth experience for our guests which was really unfortunate to hear.

Debbie is a rockstar! We had so many changes with our timeline and when to pick people up and take them back to the hotel and she was also pleasant and talked through the entire timeline with me. The bus driver was pleasant and we had a no issues, everyone made it on time to the wedding and got home safe after.

Great experience with DTT! We only booked a basic school bus as our venue was right down the road from the hotel, but it was very clean. The bus was very punctual for every pick up and drop off. Bus driver was very nice and we even used the bus to take some fun wedding pictures in.

We really enjoyed working with Debbie at David Thomas Trailways. She provided all of the information we needed to choose our transportation, and was exceptionally organized and kind in the days leading up to our wedding. On our wedding day, I didn't even have to think about transportation, because I knew everything would be on time and taken care of.

David Thomas Trailways provided two air-conditioned school buses for our wedding and it worked out great. Debbie helped us coordinate everything and we were grateful for her Philadelphia experience. Everything went smoothly at our wedding and all our guests traveled safely and comfortably.

Everything with David Thomas Transportation for our wedding was great! From the planning with Debbie to the actual day, everything ran smoothly and everyone was very polite. We were informed of a road closure days before our wedding that impacted our pick up spot for our hotel in Philadelphia. This caused zero issues and David Thomas Transportation made the adjustments with little notice.

We used David Thomas Transportation to charter two air-conditioned school buses to take our guests from our hotel in downtown Philadelphia to our venue about half an hour’s drive away. Debbie was great to work with, was always very clear and prompt with communicating, and was very accommodating when we decided to add an extra stop at the end of the night just a few days before the event. They were very reasonably priced and have a large fleet of buses and coaches available, highly recommend!

I am so glad I found David Thomas Trailways for our wedding! We used one of their air conditioned school busses to take bridal party and guests to and from our hotel and venue. Debbie was easy to work with, accommodating, and handled everything in a timely manner. Vincent our driver, was on time and very nice. It was pouring as my bridesmaids and I needed to get on the bus to head to our venue. Vincent took each of us to the bus, one by one, and let us use his only umbrella. I would highly recommend this company for anyone’s transportation needs!

We used this bus company for our wedding. They made sure to call and check that they had everyone at pick up. During drop off we were running behind and the bus driver was very accommodating with staying a few extra minutes. They got us to our destination safely. Before the wedding they were very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Also they were great to work with having to reschedule our wedding because of covid in 2020.

We used David Thomas Trailways for our wedding 10/2021. Debbie is the main wedding consultant and she was a pleasure to work with. Everything as so smooth with getting a contract together and going over pricing. She is very helpful with putting together a timeline for your big day and will go over most common problems that usually occur. Our driver, freddie, was on time and very polite. He got our guests to our wedding on time. We chose the 54 Passenger Deluxe Coach and was very happy with the quality of the coach.

After searching for transportation for my wedding, I came across DTT and Debbie was amazing at helping me figure out we needed. We ended up going with a school bus and it was perfect. Debbie was always available for any questions I had and helped even when I had to add an additional stop in my route! Would recommend for any transportation needs!!!

The School bus from David Thomas Trailways was a great decision for our wedding in July. We rented it for guest transportation to and from the venue. Debbie was very responsive during the planning process and helped to make planning very easy. Our driver was very nice, and showed up ready to go in time. Everything ran very smoothly.

David Thomas Transportation was fantastic for our wedding. We used a smaller 26-passenger mini coach for our wedding party and two air conditioned school buses for our guests to/from the hotels. Debbie was very helpful leading up to the wedding and provided great advice and considerations for our day-of transportation and timeline. Our drivers were all very professional and the buses stuck exactly to our pre-planned itinerary. Although the quote from David Thomas was a bit higher than other bus companies, I appreciated that Debbie provided personalized service and I had a direct contact at the company, which made the slightly higher cost worthwhile. In addition, it was nice that driver gratuity was included in the invoice price, as it was one less thing to worry about on our wedding day! I would definitely recommend David Thomas Transportation to other couples!

We hired David Thomas Transportation to transport our ~65 guests from the hotel to our wedding venue and back and it all worked out very well. We knew we wanted school buses to save some money, and David Thomas Transportation was one of the more affordable companies that still had good reviews. We chose to rent two school buses for the day (we upgraded to the air conditioned buses and were very glad we did - it was a hot day)! The school buses were very clean and nice inside - much better than we expected. The drivers were incredibly personable and friendly to us and all of our guests and made sure not to leave anyone behind. There were a couple of hiccups in the schedule during the night which I am a little confused about (our early shuttle back to the hotel left the venue at 9 instead of 9:15, and both of our final shuttles left at 10:30 when one was supposed to leave at 10:45), which caused a bit of a rush at the end of the night to get everybody onto that last shuttle when we thought there were another 15 minutes. Things still worked out fine however and again, the drivers made sure that they didn't leave until we got everybody on the bus. David Thomas Transportation is a great company to use for transportation!

I am very disappointed with my experience with David Thomas Transportation. I had rented a school bus to drive my wedding guests to and from the venue from the hotel. Issues were as follows: Bus driver did not leave on time for the first trip from the hotel and then he got lost on the drive to the venue causing our guests to be late. We ended up having to delay the start of our wedding by almost a half hour to wait for the bus and about half of our guests to arrive. This also caused us to miss half of our happy hour since the wedding started when the happy hour was supposed to begin. This was a little frustrating but not as bad as the second part. The following day I e mailed my contact at the company telling them what happened and to see if they can look into this and get back to me on why, as it caused us some issues the day of the wedding (having to wait to start and then losing time at the happy hour) When I returned from my honeymoon I was quite disturbed when I had not received an e mail back so I followed up again. Again no reply for another week (we are now at +15 days from my first email the day after the event) Finally I heard from the Director of Operations saying that my contact has been OOO (for 15 days must be nice) and they will Personally look into this for me. I have yet to hear anything back from ANYONE including the Director of Ops. This is very disappointing as I am at +35 days and 3 follow ups from my initial e mail and have yet to have any meaning full follow-up! Again disappointed with day of driver actions causing a half hour delay and missing half of cocktail hour and VERY disappointed with the administration end on their customer service post getting your money. I would NOT suggest using them! Especially if you just need them for a single trip as they are after your money and do not care about quality of service or customer satisfaction.

We used David Thomas for our shuttles for our wedding and they were great! We rented two large air conditioned school buses for our wedding day -- one to shuttle around the bridal party to the ceremony and reception venues and around Philadelphia to take pictures, and the other to shuttle guests between the hotel, ceremony, and reception venues. Jamie was very helpful and responsive throughout the wedding planning process, which I greatly appreciated! The day of our wedding we had a couple minor communication hiccups, but they were very minor and resolved without issue. Despite sending very detailed instructions/schedules for both buses several weeks in advance of the wedding, the bus driver for the bridal party bus seemed very confused about where she was supposed to be and go at any given time. Luckily, she was very friendly and kind, so we were able to explain to her what the game plan was. However, it seemed like it was the first time she was hearing about the schedule, which was a little bit odd. That being said, we would definitely recommend David Thomas for wedding transportation! The buses were well air conditioned and clean and the staff are all professional and friendly, and their prices are very reasonable! Thank you so much for your help!

My wife and I got married a little over a month ago and used David Thomas Transportation as our shuttle bus at the end of our wedding reception. Jamie helped us out over there, and from the very beginning, everything was so well organized and just perfect. The bus we had was brand new, had amazing AC, which was so helpful in the humid night air! Our driver was a very nice gentleman, greeting everyone who came on and left the bus, and helping out anyone who needed assistance. Everything was on schedule, no delays and no issues. Prompt service, nice drivers, tip is included in cost which is nice so you don't have to worry about that on the big day. I think they may be a bit pricier than other companies, though.

We used David Thomas Transportation (DTT) to shuttle our guests from the wedding venue to the reception and back. Debbie was our sales representative, and she was charming. However, we did have multiple miscommunications about the fact that we needed a shuttle service (multiple trips), rather than just one trip each way. I thought we’d finally resolved the issue, only to find on the wedding night that the bus driver hadn’t been informed. He was so accommodating and just adjusted his plans to what we needed. The bus was very clean, and DTT’s rates were the best I found. So I would recommend this company with the caveat that you should be sure that you have every small detail in writing on the contract.
